Realistic or Modern The Daredevils

David put on the mask and climbed on his bike. It was his job to watch out for the others. Making sure that if anything were to happen, he was to get them out. That was his job, he was the lookout/ big brother of the group. While everyone is out doing what they are doing he cruises around, and watches. He heard the alarm go off on the car and sighed. "Crow." He said knowing well enough who set the alarm off. He rushed over towards the sound of the alarm and caught one of the policemen. He held up a paint can and threw it on the ground. The two officers got in their car and took off after David. Where David went no one knows.

Crow

Welsh clicked his tongue because he wanted to see the cops move around but at the same time he couldn't move or he would be seen and he sighed and said "thanks again David" and comes down the building and starts spraying windows everywhere having fun and snickering the whole time.

Maya noticed David saving Crow and laughed slightly. 'You always have to protect, don't you?' She thought, going over to the paint bottle he dropped and picked it up. 'No need for evidence or finger prints.' She told herself, looking around. As Maya looked around, she noticed the streets cleared. "I guess they were to scared." She muttered, running off to aother area of the town and started drawing a picture on the wide concrete street. Maya knew some people were watching from shop windows and homes but she didn't mind. She didn't want to be forgotten anyways, so this was good for her.

Suddenly, she felt a pair of hands grab her and try to restrain her. Maya panicked and kicked whoever was behind her, making it bend over as pressed to spary paint bottle, spraying red paint in it's face. She quickly turned around to see that it was a cop.
'Oh shit.' She thought, 'I just attacked a cop.' Maya quickly shrugged it off. It'll be fine, everything's fine, normally. 'You're already on 20 years I bet if you were caught. Another thirty or something wouldn't hurt.' She didn't really know what she was thinking about, she honestly had no clue about prison years, 'I'll have to check up with Crow about that.' Maya thought, then hearing police cars roll up and sirens piercing the air. "Well, shit.." Maya muttered. "Run!" She yelled, hoping everybody heard her as she sprinted down an alleyway, going through corridor after corridor, stripping from her outfit. Maya took off the backpack and unzipped it, taking off the jacket, mask, and shoes. Maya reached in and pulled out a skirt put it on, adjusting her tank-top and slipping on converse. 'They know where to run to.' Maya reassured herself, zipping up the backpack and starting off towards the lake.

After the police chased after David, Welsh kept spraying things like store windows, doors, and the sidewalk. He saw the people through the window staring at him and flicked them off, laughing as he thought, "This is so fun." And kept spraying. He got to a store window when he saw a pair of headphones he wanted, so he picked up a brick laying nearby and threw it through the window, setting off an alarm as he ran in, got the headphones, and shoved them into the book bag. When he was running out, a cop got in his way so he punched him, sending him to the ground as Welsh said, "Bitch, stay out my way!" And ran towards an alley way, hoped a fence with ease, took off his mask, and put it in his bag as he took out the headphones and plugged them into his phone. He started to walk towards the lake with a smile on his face thinking, "Ha, to much fun tonight." He still had the brick he threw in the store and threw it in some bushes as he kept walking.

Blair was attempting to doodle a fancy swirl creature wrapping around a telephone pole when the cops showed up. She looked down a little upset at the unfinished product before sprinting off. Maybe another night she would finish it. As she ran she noted the different slashes and marks made along the way by the group. She couldn't help but wince a bit at the large streak running down the side of the corner store she worked at, and knew that scrubbing that off would be part of her job next time she worked. She turned away from the shop and continued to sprint towards their meeting point, the lake.

Ryan

Sirens. Lights-blue and red.
"Shit." Ryan saw two cops come at him in the alleyway. No exit, no way of getting out. But if he got in. . . . .he could get out. He ran straight towards the wall and jumped up and then off a pipe in the wall and grabbing hold of a window ledge. His hand slipped sending a nice set of terra cotta flower pots full of soil and red flowers down to the ground. One hit a cop on the head and Ryan watched as he fell down-most likely got knocked out.

He jumped over a cemented ledge and climbed onto the building's roof. Ryan jumped off the two story building and landed on the balls of his feet and then did a forward roll to gain running momentum. Luckily no one was on his tail. He could see flashlights in the distance shining randomly in places. He ran towards the edge of the city and threw himself through some natural unkempt shrubbery.

Unfortunately there wasn't flat ground on the other side. As he ran through the bushes he tripped on a stone and landed hard on his head and tumbled down a hill. On his way down he also hit a couple other stones and a sharp stick. He stopped at the bottom with a nice thump and lay there.
"Ouch." Ryan said. He didn't want to get up. Ryan didn't know it but he had a cut on his left eye brow that was bleeding and his shoulder was bruised badly he also didn't know he had sprained his left wrist. All he knew was that he hurt. He unfolded his ski mask on his face like a beanie.

David was already at the lake. His bike was letting off a small rumbling when most of the people were making their way to the lake. The first one there was obviously Maya. David chuckled when he saw her there. "Well little miss dare devil, did you get your fill of excitement for one night?" He asked her rhetorically. He got off his bike. "Come on, I know both your parents and they're going to kill you if you stay out all night. Come on, I'll give you a ride home."

Maya saw David and smiled at his comment and rolled her eyes. "Shouldn't we wait for the others? I don't feel very good leaving them behind. Besides, the night is still new! It's only.." Maya quickly checked her phone, "10:23! That's practically morning! I just don't feel comfortable leaving them by theirselves." Maya said, starting to ramble. She started pacing back and forth as she fought with herself, "I mean, what if one of them got caught? Of course they could call me to bail them out but that would make me suspicious as well. If that happened, I'd just have to lay back for a bit and not go on out devil trips. But how would I survive then?!" She sighed and stopped, taking her hair out of the ponytail and running a hand through it. It was rather tempting to go with him, "If you knew my parents, you'd know they wouldn't give two shits about May- Me." She looked down, a bit solemnly. "Can we wait to see if they're all okay first?" Maya asked, walking up beside him. The train tracks were beside the lake, so if they wanted something else to do, the train comes at 10:45 and it'd take them to their usual beginning place.

Ryan

Ryan got up off the ground after about five minutes or so of laying there. He had time to enjoy the sky full of stars that was outside. He took a step forward and wobbled a little. The lake was so close by, in fact he could see Maya and David their already. Ryan grinned.
"Well looks like they got out okay." Ryan began questioning how he would get home in so much pain. "Eh, just a scratch. I can walk it off."

Wheezing and out of breath, Blair paused close by where Ryan was. "I. Can't. Run. That. Much." She huffed out. After a moment of nothing but breathing she stood up straight and put her hands on her hips to stabilize herself. "I need to get in better shape." She mumbled to herself. She looked at Ryan with a look of nervousness on her face. "Are you okay? Did you hurt yourself? Do you need help?" There was nothing worse than watching one of her friends get hurt and right now it appeared that, that had happened.

Ryan

"Huh?" He saw Blair close to him. "Oh, no I'm fine. I swear." Ryan said unsure if he really did need help. "They are right over there." Ryan pointed to the close by lake. "Come on." He continued walking towards Maya and David aware that they probably hadn't noticed them yet. Ryan still had a spray can in his back pocket. He grabbed his stomach and fell to his knees and crouched over some bushes. Ryan then vomited into the wild bush by him. Drinking wasn't a good idea. But he had no choice. His foster guardian had a belt around his neck. What was he supposed to do. Ryan could still feel the red ring around his neck in the dark.

Sawyer

Sawyer had her headphones on as she watched her friends vandalize stuff in their town. Today, she didn't feel like doing anything destructive with them. Her head hurt really bad like she got hit in the head this morning and in the afternoon which meant she won't be sleeping for a while. She had her hands in her pockets as her music was playing real low but not too loud to the point she can't hear what's going on around her. She sighed taking out a blunt and lit it up taking a drag and holding it in before slowly letting out through her nose. After watching them have their she heard the sound of the cops and saw the blue and red lights. This was not good not at all, she slowly hopped on her skateboard before quickly taking off leaving her friends in the dust. She didn't feel like telling them she wanted them to figure it out on themselves. Now she really wanted to get some tea and go home.

She was riding through the town until she decided to go to the local cafe that she worked at. It was open late and she was grateful for this place being in this town. She hopped off her board entering the shop as she greeted the barista that worked there in the evening, she walked to the back of the counter and took out which tea she wanted. She started talking to him as she prepared the hot water. Once the water was hot she put it in a cup and added the tea bag. She then started to steep the tea watching the water change color and the smell of the tea fill her nose. This should help with her headache, it sucked that she couldn't go to sleep since they said after you get hit in the head do not rest at all. She let go of the tea bag and added almost five spoonfulls of sugar inside before stirring the sugar until it dissolved. She grabbed a lid and placed it over her cup hearing it pop meaning it was closed then slowly sipped the tea. She sighed in content as the warm tea flowed down her throat. She thanked the barista before exiting the cafe and hopped on her board heading to the place where they were suppose to meet up at if they ever got separated running from the cops. She drank her tea while riding to the destination before seeing David and Maya.

Blair crouched down beside Ryan and gently rubbed circles on his back. She didn't say anything but sat by him, trying to support him as best as she could in his time of trouble. As he retched into the bushes she thought about the evening, she hadn't even noticed the smell of alcohol on his breath, she should have kept him from going out there tonight. She mentally shook herself. These were the people he escaped with, making him go back home would be a brutal kind of punishment. For him to be throwing up he either had to have drank a ton or he actually had hurt himself. She continued rubbing circles and hummed a little a tune that had been on the radio earlier.

Ryan

"Mmmmn." Blair began to rub in circles on Ryan's back. It felt oddly soothing. His ears were soon accompanied by Blair's gentle humming. Ryan felt like he was dreaming with his slight drowsiness. Sawyer got out easy. Just a run. Ryan thought. Why did there need to be a hill at the edge of a bush? Ryan got up from his knees wobbling again. He could see Maya and David in the distance. "So close, yet so far away." Ryan said jokingly, breaking the silence. He took his hand of the rough ring around his neck where his foster parent had strangled him with a belt. He began walking quickly towards them. "Come on." He said again knowing this time he wouldn't get sick.

Crow

Welsh was walking back and climbed a tree jumping from tree to tree they were close enough for him but he didn't know about the others. And saw the lake and when he got there he jumped down from the trees and stretched laughing "man that was fun I broke in and left punching a cop!" And saw David and maya and said "sup".

Ryan

Ryan saw Welsh among the tree tops darting forward quickly towards David and Maya. Taking his time, Ryan eventually met up with the group.
"Heh. That was far out. We all got out of their pretty fast." Ryan said. Ryan looked at Welsh and noticed his new headphones. "Nice."

Crow

As soon as welsh landed he heard Ryan behind him and looked at the head phones and played with them and said "yeah that was pretty fun" and said to Ryan "thanks had to knock a cop out for them" he said laughing.

Maya didn't notice the others until they were here. "Oh my.... Ryan, are you okay?!" She asked, knowing the answer already. He didn't like to make a fuss over himself so he usually said he was fine. She didn't let him answer. Instead, she took off her backpack and brougth out a small medical kit. She brought out a cotton swab and started working on the wound above his eyebrow.

Ryan

"Well looks like 20 years in detention you will never get." Ryan joked. He yawned, and was at a rather tiring state, and tried to shake the sleepiness off. Not like he could do that. Ryan completely removed the ski mask from his head where it sat on top of it like a beanie and held it in his hands looking at it for a couple quick seconds. Then he shoved it into his back pocket-barely hanging out.

Maya quickly asked if he was okay.
"Yeah, I'm fi-ah ouch, that stings." Ryan replied.

Crow

Welsh let out a laugh and said "hey better have and boost my reputation with the police....and that damn bastard that caught me!" He said the last part angered for some reason and sat down digging through his bag and took out his crow mask and a can of red spray paint and put some ivy decoration on it And sighed again.

Ryan

As Maya dabbed Ryan's cut above his eye, it began to hurt much less. Although the stinging still played a role in the minor pain. "You know I don't like doctors..." Ryan affirmed with Maya as she continued to dab. By this time Ryan was sitting on an old log from his tiredness. It was only about 11:00 which was fairly late-but not for him exactly. Ryan didn't want to go home. He wanted to crash some where else for the night.

Maya smiled at his comment. "No need to worry there. I'm not anywhere close too a doctor." She said reassuringly. The only reason she knew how to take care wounds was from trial and error on herself. "I know your family, or at least what they do. Would you like to stay at my place?" Maya asks, throwing the bloodied cotton swab on the ground and taking out some gauze and a band-aid. "Does anything else hurt?" She asked before noticing his slightly swollen. Maya couldn't do anything about the swelling currently so she got out a wrap and started wrapping his wrist to keep it from being damaged further.

Ryan

"Sure." Ryan said thinking nothing of it. He usually stayed at his fellow devils' houses anyways. Maya finished disinfecting his cut above his eye and asked him if anything else hurt. Ryan felt like a little kid again. When he was smaller people were nicer to him. They always saw him as the victim of most situations. "No, I'm fine." Ryan lied moving his wrist behind his back. But Maya noticed and started wraping his wrist in gauze. Ryan wasn't very good at hiding things from anyone in their daring group. Especially Maya because she looked out for everyone. "Thanks."

"Don't mention it." Maya said, finishing up. "I think we should call it a night or we can go over to the barista Sawyer works at." After she said that she furrowed her eyes. Maya remembered seeing another person there while she was ranting. She turned around to see Sawyer. "Oh, hey Sawyer!" Maya said happily, feeling a bit bad she didn't notice her earlier. "Feeling under the weather?" Maya asked, concerned.

@Stoked911

Sawyer paused her music and slowly looked at Maya. She didn't mind being noticed a lot, she kinda liked it. "If you want to count getting hit in the head twice to day as feeling under the weather then yes...I'm wasn't in the mood to help you guys vandalize stuff..." She spoke her stoic face not changing as she took a sip of her warm tea then closed her eyes. She really wanted to get some sleep but her parents were scared if she does she wouldn't wake up. And that would not be pretty at all.
