Phil ran a hand through his jet black hair, his piercing blue eyes stuck on his reflection. Compared to everyone else's costume his costume was rather laid back. He had a homemade green sim diamond dangling over his head, and he was wearing Dil's signature gaming black shirt with black pants and bunny slippers. He leaned in, green contact lenses in the palm of his hand. Slowly, with his eyes fixed on his owl pupils, he inserted the green contacts.
Lastly he drew two black dots on his earlobes to represent earrings. Finally he was done. Phil was no longer himself anymore- he was Dil! Nobody really knew about his costume so he knew the second he would walk into the bonfire outside for the Halloween Party all eyes would be on him. And he wasn't exactly sure yet if it was a good or bad thing. Biting his lip, he flipped around and found the glass doors that lead out into the patio. "Dan!" He called, searching for a vampire.
After a few minutes of searching, he finally found his roommate and best friend. An undeniable grin popped up on his lips as he ran towards Dan. Not giving the other time to comment on his costume, Phil started to talk to the boy. "Out back some of our friends from Vid Con are starting up a game of truth or dare. I think that we should join. What's Halloween without a good game of Truth or Dare?" He asked, trying to persuade the boy with a smirk.
He could hear the loud conversations from the group of friends that were starting the game.
It took the brunette quite some time to get his costume ready, but it was for the greater good because even if he said so himself.. It suited him pretty nicely. Most of his time went into getting his hair straightened and making sure his outfit looked right. He had to be the the best Danpire out there ofcourse. As he stood on the patio, impatiently waiting for his best friend to get ready and come outside, he made sure his black cape stayed in place and his blouse looked okay. As for the fangs? Well, those weren't fake. So weren't his glowing, crimson eyes. Ofcourse nobody knew that~
Hearing Phil's excited voice coming out the glass door, telling him about how they should join a game of Truth Or Dare, Dan couldn't help but chuckle."Sounds cool to me, lets join!" He answered with a wide grin present on his face, showing of his glinstering fangs to the boy dressed up as Dil. Looking the male all ober, his costume looked great. A great representation of the dear hybrid they made of themselves.
Now that Phil was outside with Dan under the lights of the bonfire, he squinted slightly. He didn't have his glasses on, so observing Dan's costume was proved to be difficult. His normal contact lenses were replaced with the green ones. But from what Phil could make out, Dan was dressed up as a vampire with bright red eyes and sharp white fangs. It almost looked realistic. "Wow, Danny... those contacts are blood red.... I'll need to borrow them sometime to scare away the people we colab with..." Phil joked, oblivious to the fact that the eye color was actually Dan's natural color.
When the other smiled, and agreed to join the game Phil couldn't help but let out a happy dance and a little squeal. "C'mon we don't have all night... well, we kind of do... but still!" He furrowed his eyebrows before chuckling. While they turned and headed to the game, Phil couldn't help but sneak quick looks at the 'Danpire' who looked very attractive in his own personal opinion. Wait.. what Phil? No!
He sat on the grass, pulling Dan down next to him. The black haired boy looked at the others in the circle. "Who should go first?" Phil asked, examining over everyone around him.
The Danpire chuckled at his friend's remark, blowing one of his brown hairs out of his face with a small laugh. ''I know right? They're awesome heh.'' He responded to Phil. He saw it as a compliment, really. He couldn't say he was very proud of his vampire nature, but he had always liked the eyes that came with it.
A bright smile appearing at how happy his best friend looked, Dan couldn't help but notice how cute the other males squeals actually were. W-wait what? He never actually thought about that! He.. Couldn't take it back though, it was still true. God, smooth thinking Dan.
Setting himself into a comfortable position in the grass, he looked around the circle of people they had met during the adventures on Vidcon. Some people they knew before that were also there, like Louise and Cat. Couldn't let them out ofcourse. He then looked back at 'Dil' with a soft shrug and fixated his eyes upon the campfire that some of them had made in the middle of the clearing. It burned bright, just like his eyes, and gave off a nice warmth.
Phil smiled cheekily, nodding. The contact lenses were honestly amazing. He sat down next to Dan, not realizing that they were actually closer together than anybody else. Phil waved at Cat when she waved at him and Dan. He smiled softly, as a guy he didn't know- but he had seen at Vidcon started talking about something. "-So, truth or dare, Dan Howell?"
Phil glanced over at his best friend, not sure which one Dan would pick. He was like a wild deck of cards... and Phil wasn't sure what he was going to find when Dan talked. The youtuber glanced at the fire then up at 'vampire'. He couldn't help but notice how the fire complimented the other's sharp red eyes. It was gorgeous. No.. it's not gorgeous, is it? I mean... it's just vivid....
He frowned slightly, but turned away from Dan. Clearly there was no way that Phil was starting to fall for his roommate. It was too cliche, there was no way that he was. Yet, when Dan spoke up with his answer Phil couldn't help but crack a small smile. His voice was darling, and Phil liked to thing it reminded him of music- awkward music that plays during the end of a movie. Still, he honestly loved it.
