Fantasy The Crew

Paravine

was Acexcross
A pirate crew, ordered by the king to find the Temple of Glass. An ancient city built long ago by a wizard. Rumors had it said that the town existed far off the coast of an island. It was cursed, they would say and no one dared to venture into its depth until... Now.

The king ordered men and women from a pirate ship to search for this long lost city. It has become an adventure for all and the reward for completing the mission was gold and glory

The crew was getting ready for their quest, taking stuff in and out of the ship.

Ace stood by and watched as her fellow mates load their stuff or say bye to their family members, reading the letter that was sent to their captain again:

From the High King

Alas, my fair citizens, I thank you for accepting this quest. It is an honour to have you venturing out in the deep blue to search for the whereabouts of the Temple of Glass. In 3 years time, you must come and tell me of your adventure and if the rumors are true or not. I bid farewell to you and your crew captain.

Elijah Valus L' Flamage (the 2nd) looked out to the open waters, sat back atop a black powder barrel with a thick, leather-bound book resting on his lap, every so often his gaze would leave the lines of text below him, hand-written by some famous explorer he couldn't quite remember the name of. Alas is didn't matter, if there was anything within his many reading materials about the Temple Of Glass, he'd find it, and use it.

Peering out once again, he gave his grandiose frigate a smile again, peering to the figurehead which had been designed in the image of his father, that would soon go, and it would be replaced by something new, the thought danced across his mind for a fleeting moment, then lost clarity and faded once again. Chucking a little, an odd grin appeared on his face.

"We'll be setting sail once more, my beloved Daemon..."

((I think I'll hop in right about now.. c:))

Vex carried the fairly large wooden crate across the board and into the deck. It was filled with some of his personal medical supplies that probably wasn't on the Daemon. He was rather excited to hit the open wave. Vex nodded in greeting to the crew he passed as he began to walk towards the stairs to below deck.

The short spear mounted on his back rocked under his movements and Vex felt a nice sense of home on the Daemon, and he glanced around the frigate and stopped in admiration. Condition, beautiful. Beautifully crafted, beautiful in appearance. He allowed a small smile onto his face as Vex neared the stairway.

Bella said goodbye to her parents and little brother. She then left and headed to the docks. She was really excited she couldn't wait to take sail. When she got to the docks she saw Vex carrying a crate and the captain. Then she looked at the ship. "Alright! The adventure begins." She then headed over to Elijah. "Hey captain!" She said as she slapped him on the back hard.

Benn watched as his fellow crew mates got there things onto the ship, he didn't need much himself just the clothing on his back, the weapon in his hand and the box of ammunition by his feet. He picked up the box and placing it above his shoulder taking sometime before he began to move looking at the ship to admire it he always loved a good bit of craftsmanship.

He boarded the Daemon with his box in hand, he placed the box on the floor in the middle of the deck and sat on it. He was the oldest member of the crew but he never let it get in his way and he wasn't going to now that this prize was order in their sights, the Temple Of Glass a long lost city supposedly cursed lucky for him he wasn't a superstitious believing type of guy.

Elijah peered up from his books, deciding that he would look so much more awesome doing that with glasses "Heyo first mate, shouldn't you be helping the rest?" He commented, sitting himself up off the barrel and slamming his leather-bound book shut with a low THUD.

Ace looked to Bella and the captain, sighing. They were always at it. Sometimes she thought they were a secret couple. She walks up on the deck of Daemon noticing the old man (her nickname for Benn) sitting in the middle with his belongings and Vex carrying piles of boxes. They were always prepared. With quick long steps, she strode about checking the map.

"Ugh I don't wanna" she said pouting. She could be a big kid sometimes. She crossed her arms. "Besides I shouldn't have to."

Racon leaned back against the ratlines his hands and feet loosely gripping it. He hummed contentedly watching the others saying their goodbyes and getting ready to set sail. He himself had already put his stuff away and got everything he needed to do done. Now he was just waiting on everyone else.

Becoming uninterested in the happenings of the others he caste his gaze around the Daemon and couldn't help a proud smile from stretching across his face. The Daemon really was a beautiful ship. It wasn't beautiful in just appearance though. It was in wonderful condition and was beautifully crafted with a strong crew. Any pirate worth their title would be begging to even see the Daemon and it never ceased to amaze him that he got to live and work on it every day. If was times like this he couldn't be more thankful that this was the ship he had decided to sneak upon in order to catch a ride to a place away from that dreaded orphanage.

A shiver ran up his spine at the mere thought of that place and so to distract himself he looked down to see how the crew was doing. He perked up as he saw Vex carrying piles of crates. Helping him would be the perfect distraction. Nodding to himself in satisfaction he climbed doen the ratlines and landed on the deck with a solid thump. Standing from the crouch he had landed in he had landed in he began heading toward Vex cheerful once again."Ahoy Vex! Ye be needing a hand?"

"You're my first mate, you should be setting a good example for the rest of the crew" he gives as a quick retort, sighing and starting to walk off to The Daemon.

"Yah exactly I'm the first mate!" She says following him and carrying her bag.

Elijah swiftly took his place above deck by the wheel, clearing his throat and leaking forwards against the railing.

Ace heard the creaking of wood and then the ship moved. Well here comes another adventure for the crew and more boring days of sailing for me. Yay. She wasn't really close with everyone as she was always closed off from people but she had the heart to help set sail. Bringing up the rear, she raised the sail and brought up the anchor before going back to her cabin and doing who-knows-what

She looked at him and crossed her arms. "Oh just forget it." She went to her cabin to put her stuff away. Before she did she looked around the ship then out at the ocean. She smiled knowing that a awesome adventure was it there waiting for them. "Alright!" She ran down to her cabin.

Benn had nothing better to do so he pulled a rag out of his pocket and began to clean his rifle while whistling a tune. He was wondering what this journey would hold in store in them and even if this temple existed in the first place but as it was he didn't care he was just there to help out the crew like he always did even on the ships before this one.

"Ey Racon!" Vex smiled a bit as he saw the other land next to him, "I suppose I could use a bit of help.. Just moving these crates to the medbay and that would be it." He lifted on of the two crates smoothly and gestured with his head as he spoke. "Nothing much really, but it would go faster with two people." He started to lead the way towards the room, a single berth inside for any wounded and a few shelves to store everything.

Sweeney stood on the dock, his small rucksack slung over his right shoulder as he looked at the Daemon. She was an ok sized ship, big but not some monstrous thing, and by no definition small. The ship started moving and Sweeney paled, then took off running down the dock. Grinning, he caught hold of the anchor right as it lifted from the water, laughing as it lifted him up to the deck. Tossing his rucksack and pistol over so he wouldn't accidentally drop them, Sweeney used the momentum to swing himself over the railing and into the deck. Still laughing and grinning, he looked up to see where he was and instantly the smile dropped from his face as he saw Captain Elijah standing not two feet away. "I uh... Um didn't really uh..." He swallowed nervously then gave a sheepish smile. "Good morning Captain."
