Kai was making short work of the soldiers leaving many dead and other dying. He soon found himself surrounded by many soldiers. They raised their weapons on all sides preparing to tryand run Kai through from all sides. They charged spears outward' ready for impaling, but Kai did the smart thing he jumped into the air and let the spearmen impale each other. He then landed on their crisscrossed spears, he charged an energy bomb under his foot and then stomped on their spears unleashing an explosion that obliterated the spearman and the soldiers immediately close to them, blowing away the ones that were just a little bit farther.

"I never thought I'd find One Man Army so useful." he commented. Then he checked his sync sensing Layla

go down, he concluded the one who took her down is the one he's after. He quickly took the sky on the winds,

he went for the Commanding Officer first. He fired a blast of frost to snuff out the flames while he caught the

Officer mid air, he quickly searched his pockets and withdrew a map device placing it safely in his own

pocket. That moment the officer regained consciousness but it was too late, Kai blew his entire chest out with a blast of life force energy befor dropping him. He then went searching for Layla, looking for where she had fallen.

Ash leaned into Ana as she ran her fingers through his hair "Well its because I take care of it, that's all." He felt Ana sit up and stop playing with his hair "Awe I was enjoying that you know." Then he realized what she said " Thinking about the sync something was a bit off was it Kai or was it Layla, he couldn't really tell, he was never really any good at that sort of thing. Ash stood up and pushed the hair out of his way that Ana had been playing with. "I'm not too concerned as long as that same incident doesn't happen again, if their cut off they regrow, if there sent to another dimension then they stay gone and have to be healed, even though it takes forever to grow back after they've been removed from the plane of existence." He walked over to where he had almost fell over and picked up his scythe and laid it over his shoulder "Shall we get going or wait here for them to get back, I'm sure that Kai has it under control."

Layla landed with a large boom sounding throughout the air. The ground beneath her form crumbled, shifting to form as if a meteor had crashed. Groaning, Layla attempted to roll herself off her side, doing her best to relieve the pressure from her wings. Ultimately, she failed, only causing more strain to them. Cursing herself mentally, Layla slowly rose her bloodied eyelids to reveal dulled irises. Her vision was only slightly blurred due to the impact, but overall, her eyesight was fine. 'Good' Layla thought to herself for a few moments before realizing Kai will most likely start searching for her. She couldn't possibly be seen like such. Using all her remaining might to completely ignore her injury and the pain it caused her to move, she rolled over, snatching the dagger from her impaled torso, staring blankly whilst the blood ran down her clothing freely, as if a flood being released from a dam. Making a small 'tsk' noise, Layla laid there for a few moments, shifting her gaze skyward. Slowing her breathing, Layla slightly smiled, allowing the hand of which clutched the dagger that injured her, lay gently amongst her chest. She whispered quietly to herself, barely audible for any other ears. "Maybe a small...little...rest.." With that, Layla shut her eyelids over her irises.

Ana glanced north indecisively. Unsure if the sync could be used to carry messages, she decided to fall back on her power. "I don't know, I'll check in with him, see if they need backup. Ideally it would be best to stay here and form a plan instead of rushing in blindly but we may just not have enough time for that." Focusing the wind, she spoke the words "Kai, what's happening? Do you guys need backup?" And pushed the words into the wind, blowing it north so Kai and Layla would hear them.

"I don't know Ana, I can't find Layla." Kai responded. Then he suddenly felt a sync bond slack, he instantly turned in Layla's direction and flew that way searching for her. He eventually found her laying on the ground wounded with a knife in her hand and eyes closed. It looked as if she was dead from afar, Kai flew down to get a closer look. He checked her vitals with chi, making sure she was going to remain alive but it looked uncertain like this.

Angel yawned as she wandered the campus. Before she knew it, she ended right in the middle of a fight. She looked at the people who were fighting. "Um....sorry...." She said.

((Alright, I think we're a bit stuck. Go you guys think we should just go to the final fight now? Everyone's getting tired and injured at this time. Kai could send Angel over to warn Ana and Ash that he found the leader and can't leave Layla alone till he heals her?))

Ash had fallen asleep after waiting so long on Kai and the other two to get back, but his sleeping wasn't for no god reason, his wings had finally gone back to normal "Well it's about damn time they got back to normal." He looked at Ana who was laying on his chest and played with her hair more and started fixing it slowly getting the knots and some of the dirt out of it.

(I'm guessing we're time skipping through the campaign.)

Kai looked at Angel who suddenly turned up in Hell along with them. "Over in that ruined city right there tell my friends I have the map and that we move forward soon."

With that the group would go on to raze each division one by one until they finally came to the last one. It wasn't easy but did get easier due to experience in fighting these forces and their tactics, though they did face the occasional wild card. But now they stood scoping out the final strong hold. A well fortified fortress filled with the last of Xavier's division. The ones that stuck with him anyway, as the group racked up more and more victories many devils and demons defected from his ranks casting away his mark and going back to their prior lives. The forces in the fortress must then be those most loyal to him.

( I wouldn't call it skipping the campaign but doing the sent thing over and over gets boring after a while, though this person will be much more difficult than what we already faced up against, by no means will we be able to hold back)

Ana murmured incoherently as she was woken up by fingers gently carding through her hair. Whining, she burrowed her face back in Ash's chest, too tired to wake up just yet. But as she shifted to get into a more comfortable, she forgot about her wing and leaned to the left. Leaning on the crushed bone, she gasped in pain, and jerked awake. "Ow ow ow. Damn it." She rubbed the base of her wing, trying to soothe the pain. She would have asked Kai to heal it but the bones were completely shattered and healing that many pieces would leave her incapacitated and unable to fight.

Ash sat up and looked over to Ana and ruffled her hair "You need to be more careful you know." He took his hands and rubbed the end of her wing for a bit as he stood back up off the rubble that he had passed out on and stretched for a second piping all the individual bones in his wings and back. Ash held out a hand towards Ana to help her up but if she took his hand he was going to pull her up into his arms and carry her over to Kai unless someone showed up pretty quick to fill the two of them in on what was going on.

Ana sighed in relief as she finally got her wing back into a position that wouldn't bother her. Looking up at Ash, she said "I know, I know. Hey, your wing looks like it's been healed up! Is it ok now?"

She reached up, grabbing his hand to help her up.

He chuckled a bit at her "Almost as good as new, I owe Kai one." He quickly pulled her up off her feet and into his arms and gave her a kiss on the cheek "We'll get Kai to help heal yours just after we leave here, cause I know, if you didn't notice, it pretty much knocks you out after all of that."

Kai looked back at Ana and Ash. He was trying to form a plan of attack, but it seemed that they must still be suffering from some wounds. Kai current position was in a bunch of rubble near the fortress. He turned around and asked "Are you guys sure you're ready for another battle? We've been going pretty hard throughout this campaign with minimal rest, so I'm just making sure, Afterall this last battle could prove to be the hardest one of our trip to Hell."

"I'm ready to smash the next guys face in, literally. I know I'm ready, my wings are functional for the most part, however I'm not so sure about Ana's." Ash lifted her up and onto his shoulder and gripped his scythe and made precuts in his boot laces and slightly unlatched all of his leather spike straps then placed his scythe against his shoulder. "So what do you think is going to be in there, I bet there is at least a dragon in there, two tons of demons and other little beings, a couple captains and then the general, what do you say that I'm right, if I am I call the dragon myself."

Layla watched silently, occasionally glaring towards Kai. Although he had somewhat saved her life, it only made her feel incapable of taking care of herself. Shaking her head, she folded her arms under her chest while Kai developed a plan. Mumbling to herself, she shifted her gaze elsewhere.
