Tombstone Ability (If you have one): Can become a hoverboard, a guantlet of sorts, and augments his power to create energy weapons, as well as become an armor for him.

Personality: Shura is stoic, he talks little and usually lets his actions speak for him. He's not a bad guy, just easily misunderstood.


Bio: Shura was taken from his family as a baby the moment he was discovered to be a Code. Now 19, he only knows their names and desires to see them. His life was spent on the Code Complex where he was treated as a weapon. It's all he knows. Shura likes reading and videogames as that's how he spent his free time as he grew aside from the training and schooling. There was nothing else for him to do. Of the twenty Codes who fight alongside him, he only knows 3: Forbidden Codes Thanatos and Kali as well as Code Disaster.

Personality: Sturs is rather rotten inside, but comes off as a gentlemen when first met. He's good at fooling people and can switch from nice to evil in a moment.


Bio: Sturs has been a Shadowlord for as long as he can remember - and he enjoys his work. Spreading disaster and Chaos across the world is something he finds to be excessively fun and he wouldn't change his life for a moment. He parades around in the human world every so often to look for good ways to cause pain.

Personality: Very quiet, Prefers to be alone more than anything and quite shy. She does try to be around others and uses art as her means to fit into the world.


Bio: Demi grew up blind, Not being able to use her vision she grew quite capable of using her other senses. Her life had always been quiet, The adoptive family she had made sure to keep it that way feeling Demi was to fragile for the world but also for the feeling that she would not fit in. Taken at the age of 4, when realized that she was a code.. Demi's life not only changed but as did her body. The power Minds Eye made her see for the first time. Now able to use her eyes she tries her best to look at everything cherishing the moments. Demi loves to draw, even when she couldnt see she tried. Although she is a very innocent looking girl its best to not let her appearance fool you.

Personality: Blunt and very masochistic. Although immature she is very smart. Very hyper and outgoing.


Bio: Asking Fureha how long she has been a Shadowlord is never something you should do, she isnt to sure in all honesty. Anyone who has met her would thing she was quite childish and dense, but in all reality she is quite the logical woman. Her love for inflicting pain on to others as well as feeling pain gives her a sense of purpose in this dull of a life. She despises human beings, feeling that it is her duty to crush them and cause them great misfortune. She has a love for sweets, to the point where you could compare her to Gluttony.

Personality: Mostly silent and methodical yet easy to talk to when comfortable enough. Elle loves starry nights and peaceful waterfalls yet shys away from social interactions unless it's necessary. Somewhat broken internally, slow to letting others in. She strives to interact with others yet struggles to find ways to do so, in result; she focuses more on her training.


Bio: Was found in a car accident with her parents left dead and her with brain trauma as a child. She was hospitalized, diagnosed with amnesia. Her only memories were of the tv shows played at the hospital. Discovered as a Code orphan, she was sent to the Code Complex. Knowing little other than the Code Complex, Elle trained to fight with no mistakes, yet struggles to find peace with her skills. Failure was not an option despite her flaws.

Tombstone Ability (If you have one): The Core - A "well" of dark matter that has over time, replaced his heart and blood. The well constantly pulls in dark matter allowing him utilize his abilities freely. It also, as an unfortunate side effect, has altered his physical appearance.


Power(s): Umbrakinesis. "Ironic, isn't it?"


Personality: Friendly, if a little detached. Tends to use humor and sarcasm as a means to mask his true emotional state.


Bio: "I don't remember who I was, before, I mean. I'm sure it will come back to me eventually, but my memory's foggy... Masked in shadow, you could say... Get it?"


Appearance:


"It's not bad, being like this, I mean... Sure I kind of scare children, and I may or may not look like a bad guy... But, of all the things that bother me about being like this, it's ... you know, not having a mouth. You have no idea how awkward it is to eat food without a mouth. I just sort of ... shove it into the spot where the hole's supposed to he and fwiiiiiiiip, it's gone. I guess the halo and wings are annoying too, but hey! I can fall better than most, and the halo is pretty snazzy."

Terrorblade: He can have his weapon embody the fear of a person


Fearlock: He can chain and pull/swing people with chains made from dark material

Soul Tear: When heavily damaged he can take all the damge he's taken and give it to someone else.


Personality:He just watches...Doesn't take action unless needed. Silent, almost mute if not for the fact that he talks sometimes.

Bio:Being A Shadowlord for many years he wants to erase the existance of the humans and everything on his path, but his first thing to do is to erase the Codes so they can't foil his plans.

Shapeshifting: can turn herself into whatever living form she desires as long as she has witnessed it in her long life.


Duplication: can copy herself up to three times, and as long as one remains alive she shall not die.

Personality: Mischievous, short tempered, dark sense of humour, patient and highly intelligent. She likes to take her time killing her victims, killing them slowly and watching the light fade from their eyes.


Bio: Put simply, for as long as she can remember she had enjoyed slaughtering human's and it's all she really knows. Why stop now right?

Name: Minerva Jones

HDF Position: Strategy Chief Commander (Tactical Department)


Age: 22


Personality: Stubborn and a high-striver, her goals always being higher than anyone thinks she can obtain. She is determined and sometimes irrational as she hates to be wrong. She likes to make orders and boss people about and can sometimes lose her temper at people only trying to help. Her family keeps her grounded, despite her high position, they still treat her like the stubborn, silly girl she is.


She is mistrustful and wary, and calculating. She can be extremely self-centered.


Though she likes to keep up an air of confidence, she is most times is indecisive and nervous about every decision she makes, sometimes worrying about what others think of her, and whether her superiors approve.


She is most proud of her position, being the highest in her department. She strives to me General some day and is extremely passionate about her job. She lives, breathes and eats strategy, sometimes calling her deputy well into the early hours, despite his annoyance.


Bio: From a very young age, she has been determined to be the best in her class, her year, her school, anything. Her older brothers and sisters are all scientists and doctors and successful this or that. Her mother was a single parent to her 6 children, Minerva (or Minnie to annoy her) being the youngest. Mrs Jones never had much time for anyone but Thomas, the eldest. Minerva doesn't hate her, only strives to make her proud. She joined the HDF at a young age, though was initially rejected, she went in every day for weeks until they hired her. She is now the youngest ever Chief, and her ultimate goal is to be the youngest General.


Appearance: Cropped, straight, ashy-blonde hair, and blue-green eyes. She is tall and average weight, and wears glasses for her short-sightedness. She has a good posture, and walks with a purpose, even if she isn't sure where she's going.

Name: Yewl Klandis

Age: Looks about 20, really 548


Power(s) [if you have them]: Telekinesis, power over water/ice


Personality: Newl is a cunning person, using her sweet charm to fool people, but she is very cruel and evil inside. She can switch from nice to cruel in the blink of an eye. She is sly and loves to see people in pain.


Bio: Yewl has been a Shadowlord for as long as she can remember, and she very much enjoys her work. She loves cashing pain and disaster everywhere she walks -- it's like a game to her, where she always wins. She wouldn't change her life for anything.


Appearance: Yewl is a tall woman, with pitch black curls that cascade down to her chest. Her eyes are a dark green.

Tombstone Ability (If you have one): Metal Arm Guards with straps that run all over her body. These metal arm guards serve as as shield.


Power(s) [if you have them]: The power to Materialize objects from almost nothing. The ability to create portals.


Personality: Naomi a very strong willed girl. Stubborn and can sometimes be hard to get along with. She is also impatient.


Bio: Since young Naomi has always wondered what her parents looked like. She was so frustrated she had a billion questions and was so confused as to why she was at code complex. Naomi did what everyone else her age did, went to school and trained. When she first started her schooling she found a very pretty girl she wanted to be friends with. She was the Forbidden Code Hecate, Demi Veranni, Naomi did not know she was blind when they first met. She also did not like that Demi was so quiet and would barely speak to her. She found herself becoming frustrated again and before she knew it she had started bullying Demi. Naomi knew of Two Codes, Forbidden Code Hecate and Forbidden Code Asura. She knew the Forbidden Code Asura because of the training they did together. When Naomi discovered her powers she was anonymously given her Metal arm guards. At the age of 15 Naomi branded herself with the number 88 on her right shoulder for reasons she cant speak about. Now she is 19 and waiting for something to happen.

Name: Adrian Driver

Job: Intern at a local newspaper


Age: 24


Personality: He is loyal and loud mouthed, and thinks honesty is the most important value you can have. He can be very upfront and in-your-face, but he is bright and bubbly and doesn't mean any harm. He is a chain smoker who insists he can "quit anytime". He would gladly put his life on the line for a good cause, or good person. He doesn't care much for his safety, and finds risking his life makes him feel more alive. His biggest dream is to travel the word, uncovering truths and mysteries, and generally being a reporter and detective.


Bio: He recently quit a job at a supermarket that he had worked at for so long in order to peruse his passion of media. He wanted to bring honesty into the world, which he felt was unjust and dishonest. He came from poverty, but spent his life interested in the lives of others. More recently he has become obsessed with the Codes and their history. His father was a drinker, and he has vowed to never touch a bottle, ever.

We needed another human so I thought, meh why not? He's a character who's been on my mind for a while and I thought he'd be perfect for furthering the story since he's so nosy and stuff

Name: Koga Matabei

Age: 43


HDF Position: Major


Personality: Koga is an easy going man. Friendly is something that comes to mind when people think of him. He's calm and fun loving; never afraid to play a prank or joke around, but knows when to get serious.


Bio: Koga used to be low ranking in the military. He worked hard to climb the ranks, especially after the kidnapping of his first born, Shura. Little does he know, the military was resplonsible since his son was a Code and now, even though he's achieved the rank of Major, no one has told him what truly happened yet. He has a beautiful wife and a daughter whom he is beyond determined to protect. Since the loss of his son, he doesn't want to lose anyone else. To this day, he still hopes some sign of Shura will reveal itself. He's yet to tell his daughter she ever had an older brother.

Personality: Yuki is sarcastic and quiet, and spends most of her time reading. She is calm but loves to joke and laugh. Her dad is high up in the HDF, so she is constantly surrounded by politics. It's just her and her mum on most of the time, and finds herself alone on most days. She has a handful of school friends but mostly prefers time alone.


Bio: Her dad is in the HDF, and is very protective of her and her mum. She's had a pretty average life, in a well off home, good parents and a nice house. She really can't complain.

Appearance:

Personality: Takes care of those under his command... in his own special way. Doesn't care who you are on way or the other, so long as you get your job done, and done right. He also speaks his mind, and rather loudly if it can be helped. Example:


"Crap on a cracker! That's one ugly mug you got there, son! If I didn't know any better, I'd put you down outta common courtesy."


Bio: He grew up rough. With a name like Leslie, growing up in the rough part of the city was a wall to wall slug fest. By the time he was of age, he was already down to one of two career paths. Criminal. Or Soldier. He chose the one that paid him for fighting. At first, it was hard making the transition from his years of street fighting to the disciplined life as an HDF enlist; but he acclimated ... eventually. When that point came, however, didn't take long for him to realize that he wanted to be the one giving the orders, and on that day the goal of attaining General.


It took him a few years to get there... well, twenty five, but he finally made rank; and in the end, nothing's really changed.


"My father named me Leslie. Why? Dunno! Maybe he was just a drunk! Or some kinda yuppie! But I figure it's cuz he knew this world was crap wall to wall, an' if I wasn't the toughest kid on the playground I'da been dead in a back alley before my 18th birthday!" - When asked about his first name


Notable Equipment: Rocket Trousers. Sally and the Bang-stick. Mustache comb. Whiskey. He's also got a self-inserted explosive in him ... somewhere. Why? "Because when I go out, I'm goin' out with a bang."

Name: Nathan Harbinger

Code: Wrath

Powers: magnetism and control of plants


Personality: Doesnt like anyone, at all. He is very aggressive towards everyone regardless of gender, age or race. He is always active and doesnt stay in one place for long.


Bio: Nathan had a very hard time growing up. His mother and father were raging drunks and abused him physically, then would send him to school telling him that they dont love him. He was harrassed relentlessly by all kids at his school, even younger grades and a teacher on a few occasions. He found out his ability when he sent a loose nail through a bullys forehead from across the room. Later that day he was taken from his home, at the age of 5, to the code complex where he was treated as a killer. Now he roams the streets searching for all who made him suffer in his early years to exact his revenge.

Name: Akemi Matabei

Age: 41


Personality: Akemi is a kind hearted soul and easy going. She can be sincere at times, but knows when to take a joke. Sometimes overprotective of her daughter due to the events of her first son, Shura. Even though she's overprotective, she lets her daughter experience things on her own.


Bio: Loyal to her family, she's willing to protect them however she can despite her husband, Koga, being in the HDF. Completely shattered from her long lost son's disappearance, she still longs to find and keep him in her care.

Tombstone Ability:


It's form is a small cube, about 5 inches up and 5 inches down. When squeezed extremely hard, however, it pops up into a futuristic-style gun and has the ability to shoot fire, well as ice. This is used to fuel his power and sometimes as a weapon, but Haru likes to think that his powers are enough to do the job.





Power(s):


His primary power, is this dragon-like ability. He is able to breathe fire, eat fire, walk through fire (although he tends not to because his clothes'll burn off). However he does have the regular weaknesses of a dragon, as well as his own, which inevitably slows him down. Also, he can't fly.

Personality:


Hot-headed and hot-tempered, Haru is obliviously stubborn and tends to be brutally honest. Although not the sharpest tool in the shed, he can hold his own and concentrate when the time is right. He has the habit of casually walking around rather mindlessly, unknowing of what to say or do. He's also a bit of a prankster, making him an uneasy target for people to make friends with.





Biography:


Haru fully enjoyed being in the code complex. He was always so confused, and why the complex didn't hold his birth parents. But he knew that asking about it was going to get him thrown into trouble, so he kept mouth shut, and continued like evryone else. Despite the troubles inside him, and his conscience constantly telling him not to the the bad things in life, he continued his prankster-lifestyle and got in trouble more than 'he had meant to'. When his powers awoke, he was left a small cube on the table which was placed next to the right side of his bed. When the complex blew up, and when he woke up on Earth, he hadn't felt a fear that he had in a long time. He still shakes thinking about it. Now, however, he's just waiting.
