Spencer rolled his eyes when Klaus pointed out any information Trevor might have shouldn't be discussed in a public place. "Course not," he agreed. Still, he looked expectantly at Wesley as the man explained that they were doing their best to get information from his father. Hearing it had been quiet over the last few weeks was concerning. He'd at least hoped Trevor had some information on any potential attacks the Carters might be sending their way. Not knowing anything felt worse than if he'd been told Ezekiel had an attack set up.
Hearing Klaus speak of Trevor being reliable with his updates was still alien to hear. No matter how much of the past he'd buried away, no matter how much he was willing to forgive Trevor for, it was still hard to imagine him actually being useful and committed to a cause. Especially one that didn't benefit Trevor himself and his past addictions. "Well. As long as he's still sober, then I'll take your word for it that he's doing his bit and fighting the good fight," he remarked.
Spencer was then asked for his thoughts on what the Carters might be planning. It was somewhat amusing to hear his criminal past now being something of a useful asset to Interpol. The very thing that had forced him away from his life for 12 years was now what Interpol was relying on to help them. Casually sitting back in his seat, he thought for a moment. "Their silence is definitely something we should be concerned about. After speaking with Ezekiel, it's clear he's not going to sit back and let me get comfortable in London again. He's been used to having no real challengers and if I was him, I'd want to shut my lot down before we have chance to be a threat." He stopped to look around the club again, taking another careful observation of those around them and checking for anything of concern.
Content things were still running smoothly, he looked back at Klaus and Wesley. "The wars I've been involved in were ones on the streets. Messy, destructive, and violent. I have no doubts Ezekiel is willing to operate in those ways as well. But... He's corporate and operates in other ways too. He would resemble more of a Moretti than a King or a Porter. That means he's not only stubbornly patient and willing to play the waiting game, but that his attacks might not just be violent ones. They'll be psychological and political. Perhaps even reputational, which would put King Remedial at risk... I have no doubts he's planning something, but we need to find out what."
