The Earth is home to many different beliefs and theories about the origins of life and humanity, but they cannot begin to imagine the forces that control their world.
A pantheon of gods, as timeless as the very earth itself, reigns over the world and keeps it functioning like a well-oiled machine. But as of late, they have begun to notice that one of their creations is beginning to veer off its intended path. A creation that some of the gods are beginning to regret: humans.
The humans they created were, and still are, curious and blessed with nearly limitless potential, but they only seemed to bring war and death and hatred to their own societies, destroying each other from within and without. Thus, a dispute has sparked between the deities of the Earth, arguing and debating about whether or not the humans should be eradicated.
In order to prevent their dispute from causing havoc on the planet's surface, the gods have each selected a human to act as the respective deity's representative on Earth and to find a way to make peace between the members of the pantheon. There isn't much time to waste, though. The fate of the human race is at stake...

Hey, thanks for checking this RP out! This is a reboot of a roleplay that I had uploaded previously to this site, but it never really got off the ground due to a lack of participants.
I know a lot about this RP seems a bit cliche, but this RP has a small twist: the pantheon of gods is created not just by me, the author, but by you, the roleplayer! That's right, you get to make your own god and define the roles they play in keeping the Earth alive and well.
Don't worry, you'll also get to roleplay as your created god's Chosen: an otherwise-normal human who was selected by their god to represent them. They are blessed with the divine powers of their respective deity to aid the Chosen on their journey.
I'm excited to see the kinds of deities you all introduce into the mix. This can be a lot of fun if you guys get really creative. See you on the flip side!

- No Mary Sues, bunnying, auto-ing, etc. Basically, be reasonable and don't piss people off. They hate that.
- I am obviously aware that there are gods involved in this roleplay, but there is still a difference between roleplaying a god, and godmodding. Even the gods aren't omnipotent, at least individually. They have Divine Laws that each deity is bound by reality to follow. I will upload these laws to the OOC thread soon.
- I reserve the right to reject a character application if it does not meet requirements that I set forth in the template for character submission.
- However, if your application is acceptable, but could use a boost of creativity in certain areas, I might offer content or changes for you to make. These are optional and are for the sole purpose of spicing up the roleplay. I recommend you at least consider what I have to say.
- This RP is a literate one, and I require that participants use as grammatically correct spelling and sentence structure as possible. If you have to, use spell checker or grammar checker sites to proofread your posts. They're really easy to use, trust me.
- When it comes to post length, I highly recommend a paragraph minimum. That being said, your post also needs to contain material that actually furthers and adds to the plot. Your post may need to be more than a paragraph, or it could maybe be a few sentences. If you resort to using one-liners, I will give you a warning. PM me if you have questions about this.
- Please submit your applications to me by convo FIRST. Once I approve of your character sheet, then that means you have my permission to post your revised and complete application to the character sign-ups.
