Is there a post order, or can we reply to people freely? Because if it's the latter, I'll make a second post today
I feel like I wouldn't want to impose on you interactions and at the same time not leave anyone in the dust. Therefore those of you able to interact feel free to do so but I will not move on to the next phase till everyone has at least one post under their belts.

Thus those of you 'awake' can interact while the rest wake up slowly.

I was planning to describe that later on once everyone had posted at least once.
I hope you don't mind me saying this, but as a GM myself, I would advice you to not stand still ridiculously long for certain people? That might take the pace out of the whole process and kill it. It's a good sentiment to keep as a general rule, but especially later on it might be better to move on if 9 people post once every 2 days and the last every 2 weeks...

True enough but it's only been two days so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now. I'll be posting regardless tomorrow.

Yeah, that's why I made sure to add that it's more of a 'later' thing, and not something really immediate. I would just really hate to see this die because it got bottlenecked, it's a great idea by all accounts.

loyalwolf loyalwolf just a couple of suggestions here, but consider changing your character's text color for speaking. I'm assuming by your choice that you use the night life theme, but when using the standard RPN theme your dialogue text is difficult to read. I had to highlight it to work out what it said. Another note - bolding your dialogue helps it stand out, especially if you're using colored text. Improves readability, and also makes it easier for other roleplayers to scan through posts and quickly identify bits of dialogue to respond to.

Alternatively, perhaps stick some basic bbcode in there to ensure your text is always read on a black background, where your preferred dialogue color is easily readable.

Type out your post, then highlight it all and set it to a gray font color (I used the middle-row gray on the far left of the color picker). Then highlight your dialogue and set it to the desired color. Finally, at the start of your post, put:
Code:
[bg=BLACK]
At the end of your post, put:
Code:
[/bg]

Then your post will appear in a black block, appearing the same for everyone.

Suggestion and whatnot, so feel free to ignore me if you like.

For those who need quick reference without reading through all of my post, just skip to the bold red text - that's his dialogue, which is spoken with enough volume that anyone can probably hear him. Now he's just pacing around irritably and looking at the door signs.

Tardy Grade Tardy Grade are you able to give me descriptions of, say, one or two signs above doorways? He'd move for the closest door first, then walk clockwise around the room. I think viewing only one or two signs should give him a bit of information while still allowing everyone else to interject, interrupt or otherwise do their thing.
