For as long as we can remember, magic, the magic that courses within every single person that exists in this world, has been ignored. Humans are not made to use this power, it is unstable, immense and will either ruin you completely or overtake your mind. As such, magic is treated like a disease, a plague, something that is in our past and never mentioned. Stories of these people turned monster have been forbidden knowledge for centuries now, and humankind have forgotten that they are capable of such things. A great purge of spellbooks and magic infused items took place, and now, if any still exist, they are hidden or locked away. The only one's aware of the past are the council of four. A leader from every major power who convine to make decisions together as a unit, in order to keep peace and healthy trade routes happening throughout the world.
Recently, strange things have been happening. The weather has been... wrong. Nonseasonal frosts, or heatwaves began happening across the land. Earthquakes and cyclones ripped villages apart in the outermost regions of almost every country, and out to sea great storms have sent whole islands back into the sea, and destroyed countless ships.
Something was causing this, and the council of four knew it.
The council of four convened, almost sure that a magical uprising was at foot. They discussed what to do, but they were at a loss. There was no direction, no source visible. All they could do was try to rebuild and stockpile supplies, try to guard their homes.
It wasn't long before people began disappearing. The mayors, chiefs, military, navy of nearly every capitol city began to vanish, never to return. Mass panic, curfews enforced, people were very unsettled, and the governments began to break down.
And when they were at their weakest, the first attacks began. Mindless, zombie like figures with immence power began to attack every settlement. They were unorganized, but strong, and carried a power not one of these people had ever seen. They could lift objects with their mind, rise the ground up with a stomp, breathe jets of flame.
The people suffered heavy loss but they survived.
After the dust had settled, the monster revealed himself. He was something out of the history books. A man who had once governed all four continents, and old king named San Vey Snider. Snider had been sentenced to death when he was found to be practicing magic, which had begun to change his personality. He was cut down and thrown into the sea, but his magic, like a demon living inside him, had revived him. He had been in hiding for a long time, building an army of young, clueless people who he would convince he could make them all powerful, if they served him.
He was back, and he wanted to rule the world once again. Everyone would embrace the demon within, or perish.
The council of four must gather a team of hero's to go into the den of the demon and destroy him for good.

The Lore.
There are four major powers with their capitol cities in this world. All unique societys of the same race, all very different with different strengths and weaknesses. They are as follows
Athayawa
A continent consisting of huge, ancient jungles and creatures far bigger than their brothers from other continents. Their capitol city is called Shanthawa, and it is set atop some of the tallest trees in the entire continent. There are several small tribal towns set all over the continent and a few port villages set on the steamy coasts, however their capitol city is home to only the best hunters and warriors and anyone who is anyone aspires to live there. This country contains the worlds most potent medicinal and poisonous plants and animals, and their biggest trade is in timber, medicine and poison.
The Natives to Athyawa are strong and nimble. They swing from trees and can scale anything and are built mostly like acrobats. Their skin ranges from lightly tanned to deep brown to combat against the extreme heat and humidity that most of the country is enveloped in most of the year. They tend to wear little clothing, only enough to cover themselves. If they were Armour, is is mostly made of leather and as lightweight and breathable as possible to allow them to climb.
Wiln
A beautiful country full of grassy plains and rolling hills, surrounded by mountains which remain snowy untill the first week of summer has passed by. Their capitol city is called Eerie, and it almost entirely built into the side of a large mountain called Mt Farr. It is full of tunnels and balcony and large majestic sculpted stone. This city is also famous for the breeding of the dire hawk, a bird as big as a small child with the wingspan double any other member of the hawk species. These birds are bred for attack and for hunting, and are very expencive outside of Wiln. This country is also full precious gems, Iron and copper, with a very large trade for opal. Most of the smaller towns and villages outside of the capitol city are mining towns that supply the trade runs that keep the Wiln economy.
The Natives to this country have a distinct set of features. Their skin is pale white, almost porcelain, their hair ranges from white, to strawberry blonde and they usually have blue or grey eyes. They usually have a larger frame, and build both muscle and fat very quickly due to shortage of food in their extreme winters. Men are usually very hairy (Many women are too). They specilise in heavy iron weaponry and are some of the best blacksmiths in the world live in Wiln.
Eerie in summer
Adanin
Adanin is an Arrid nation that lay uninhabited for many thousands of years until the first tent cities began popping up there. The Adan people used to be nomadic groups of drifers that travled from waterhole to water hole and set up their tents. Above ground, most of the country is red sandy dunes, huge red canyons and sparse bodies of water and flora dotted about, below it is full of caves home to some of the most intricate ecosystems known to man. The capitol city is built around a natural hot-spring that travels from deep below the ground to the surface and is always full even in the peak of summer. The city is called Taanaan'taa. This region is probably the richest, given more than half of the worlds gold is found here, as well as a very prominent species of silk worm spread over every underground cave that exists in Adanin. Their trade consists mostly of fine items like clothing, jewelry and clay items. Adanin has extreamly hot summers that leave it's residents taking shelter underground for almost all of summer, however their winters are also extreamly cold at night time. Floods are also quite commenplace in summer, and natives know that is the time to collect and store water for the rest of the year.
The Adanin people are copper skinned and very proud of their appearance, often decorating themselves with fine items and bright colours if they can afford it. They have sharp minds and they produce many of the worlds most accomplished strategists, engineers and medics.
Kavana and the Turquoise Seas
Kavana is the smallest of the continents, wrapping around the edge of the biggest of the country's, Wiln, is is nearly purely made up of rolling hills and grassy plains or coastal ports and sandy white dunes. Kavana contains several inland rivers and has an abundance of small villages near them. Most settlements are port cities on the coast, the biggest being right at the tippy top, the capitol of Kavana Hoog City. Hoog is a large and wild city run by a council of ex pirates, and the only settlement in Kavana with a formal government, and strict laws. The Kavana people are kinds of the boat and fish trade, and their boats dominate nearly every coastal settlement in the world. They also host many horse breeding towns inland as well as the worlds biggest distillery of beer and rum. Their inland towns are full of livestock and farmers.
The Kavana people are oriental in apperance, usually tanned, and big fans of loose, billowy clothing, monkeys and hooked blades. They often find themselves longing for the sea if they are away from it for too long. Many of them are found meeting on specific islands out among the famous Turquoise Sea where they roast fish, drink, party and trade trinkets they've found on their travels.
