The Cabins

The Banchou

He followed his boss to her new accomodation and looked around her roommates. They seemed like pussies that wouldn't pull anything on her, but he knew that appearances often bullshit around. He patiently awaited for her to look around the room, and responded almost instantly with a thumbs up as she spoke towards him and Issen. "Gotcha, boss. I'll go check it out. But i'll be back soon so you don't need to worry. Come on Issen, let's check it out. Stop standing there and spacing out you dumbass..." He once again put his hand around his "associate" and dragged him along for the "journey towards their new housing", but this time he applied some strenght to it, pretty much forcibly taking his "friend" for this walk. "So apparently some fine babe is gonna be livin' in our dorm. I call dibs on her. Also some fox-asshole, but i'll leave him for you." He snickered and smirked at his own genius remark. They walked for awhile probably in silence, or with a really long monolouge made by Issen about some really boring and tedious shit, but when they arrived at the place he kicked the door open. "Alright. This place now belogns to Matsuda Clan! (Translation note : Clan, meaning family. Soujiro is a dumbass and wouldn't really know the difference here.) Any of you bastards have any objections? No...? Good. Now pack up and get **** outta here!"

Olivandra and Oliver Kelspar

Oliver felt slightly bewildered when the girls demeanour changed to one of a very happy, upbeat person, but regained his senses quickly. Clearly this girl had been unsure if they would welcome her kindly, and now that they had, she was showing her true personality. "It's nice to meet you, Nyx," Oliver said, grinning. "Fell asleep, hey? I can't imagine trying to catch some z's on that ferry, it was so busy! It's alright though, I'm sure we'll be able to work out where you're supposed to be pretty easily. There are teachers walking around outside, maybe we could try to ask one of them if they have a list. Off the top of my head, though, I can't really remember hearing your name... I wasn't really listening for anyone else's names, though, for obvious reasons," he chuckled.

Olivandra spoke up, intrigued by the visitor. She thought the girl looked very sweet, and a lot younger than her age. "Hey, we're juniors too! We just started as well, though, so we're basically freshman." She leaned back into the sofa. "Well, it's only been a couple of hours, I'm sure you'll soon be able to find way better people than us eventually, right, V?" she giggled.

Oliver smiled, sitting on the arm of the sofa and crossing his arms, leaning back slightly onto the wall. "A girl like you, Nyx? I'm surprised you aren't already being followed by an entourage." He didn't really mean to sound flirtatious, but Oliver told himself it was friendly banter; nothing more, nothing less. The smirk on his sisters face made him feel differently, but he ignored the thought and focused back on Nyx.

Nyx Ryzrel

Nyx giggled again, her cheeks turning pink when Oliver questioned how she possibly could have fallen asleep on such an (apparently) boisterous boat ride. I mean, she honestly had no idea it was noisy. She couldn't remember a single thing about the trip because she was so deep in her sleep. "Well, I was just napping under my blanket...guess I'm kinda a deep sleeper or whatever!"

When he mentioned that he hadn't heard her name called earlier, she couldn't help but cringe internally. Despite his point about how he wasn't really listening for other names, she couldn't help but wonder if her name really wasn't called. Seriously, she thought for a moment, if they forgot to add my name to the list.... Rage began to well up within her, but only for a split second before she regained her sanity. She'd taught herself how to be in control of her emotions, and for the most part she was pretty good at it.

"Heh, yeah we'll figure it out, I'm sure!" she stated positively, grinning warmly at Oliver. She kept her eyes on him a moment longer than usual, intrigued by that fiery red hair of his. She loved it. She then shifted her gaze to his redheaded twin, smiling even wider when she found out all of them were juniors, and new ones at that. "Ah, seriously?! So I'm not the odd one out, oh goodie! We can figure this place out together then, huh? It'll be fun! I'm excited!" She clapped her hands together excitedly, adrenaline rushing through her veins already. She was so excited, definitely too excited, but she didn't think it was worth trying to repress such emotions. "Ah, what are you talking about?! You guys seem so cool. I mean like, look at you guys--with your awesome red hair and red outfits--"

Finally, she stopped herself at that, simply laughing--a bit nervously--and then blew another bubble. As she was blowing her bubble, Oliver made a rather flattering comment. Bewildered by his words, her bubble popped and her eyes grew wide. Not only that, but her cheeks turned the rosiest shade of pink ever. Me? she thought, followed by an entourage? Me?

"Me?" Nyx blurted aloud, her voice shaking very slightly. She giggled softly, keeping her eyes low to the floor. Such a surprisingly flattering comment made her all flustered. What was so special about her, after all? "I mean, I guess..that'd be cool." She mumbled this last part more to herself than to anyone else, and she lifted the small horn around her necklace to her small nose and sniffed it a bit for comfort.

Seiji Izumi, Third Year

Seiji had listened to the dull explanation of the rooming situation. He cared very little for who was actually going to be staying with him. Chances were, he wouldn't be seeing much of them anyway. He made his way immediately once he knew what cabin he would be staying in, and arrived before anyone else. Choosing the room as far away as possible, he locked the room down and set about organizing his things. The last thing he brought out was a small safe, tucked away in the corner with a very important object inside.

He thought he had heard the noise of someone else enter, but ignored it for the time. He didn't have the intention of distracting himself with pleasantrie. It wasn't until someone announced they were claiming the cabin for some clan that he opened his door. It was unlikely anyone else who had arrived was adept enough to deal with this, and it currently interfered with his plan for a quiet school life. Grabbing his katana, Seiji walked out and looked at the Neanderthal in front of him. "Keep it down, you unwashed monkey. Perhaps your skull is too thick to properly process this thought, but you're being an annoyance." Seiji's eyes quickly assessed the swordsman with him, but he didn't seem intent on addressing him.

Issen Raikiyo, Fourth Year

"I wasn't spacing out you fool. I was..." Issen wasn't given the chance to reply as he was forcibly being taken out of the cabin by his 'comrade'. "How dare you remove me from our lord's side you lowly parasite! Wait until I show you what..." The rest of that conversation wouldn't be heard by those in the cabin with Serena as the two trailed off in the distance. On the walk to Soujiro's cabin, he made sure to lecture him on the hierarchy of the household and the finer points of serving their lord. Most of which the fool probably ignored. It was Issen's turn to be confused though. Koujiro was under the mistaken impression they were bunking together. A small smile landed on Issen's face. He had no intention of correcting the idiot just yet.

The proclamation made when they entered was just too much. He untied his katana and smacked Koujiro over the back of the head with the pommel. "Watch your tongue, ape. If you sully the good name of our lord, I shall cut your body in to a thousand pieces with this holy blade." It wasn't until a boy came out of his room to insult Koujiro that Issen laughed. Seemed the fool was in good hands. "By the way, monkey. I'm not in this cabin. Enjoy your stay. Oh. If this insect troubles you, seek me out. I'll be camping in front of a first year cabin. I'll ensure he never sees home again."

He mentioned that last part to the young woman sitting inside. With that last threat towards Koujiro, he left. Briefly, he thought of setting camp right away, but thought he should at least make note of his absence to those he was supposed to stay with. Finally, he entered the fourth year cabin to address any present.

Olivandra and Oliver Kelspar

Olivandra noticed Nyx's flustered reaction and smirked to herself. Even if her brother had decided to be the good guy this year, he just couldn't help but be the charmer he'd always been. She giggled at Nyx's initial comment about her deep sleeping. "Yeah, when V is asleep, he could snore his way through a hurricane!"

"Hey!" Oliver protested, a smile playing at his lips. "I do not snore!" He looked at Nyx, an almost pleading look in his eyes. "I don't."

Olivandra laughed. "Well, snorer or not, I've drawn complete masterpieces on his face during the night and he hasn't even stirred." She reached out a hand to ruffle his already messy hair, although now it was messy by accident, not styled.

Oliver ran his own fingers through his hair, pouting at his sister. "Oi!" He chuckled at Nyx's statement on their hair and clothing. "Yeah, we're quite the pair. I've lost count of the times people have asked us why we continue to follow the matching red trend. I have to admit, I love the colour blue, but red hair and blue t-shirts? It definitely doesn't mix."

Olivandra smirked as Nyx grew embarrassed by Oliver's last remark. "Oh, it's definitely cool. If, or should I say when," at this she winked at Oliver, "it happens to you, you should definitely hit your suitors up for some gifts."

Oliver shook his head at Olivandra, annoyed that she was starting to bring up things like that. Noticing the necklace Nyx was wearing, his annoyance turned to curiosity. "That's a very pretty necklace. Where did you get it from?" He asked.

There was some really odd noises coming from Jaws room, like he was making a mess, or fighting a bear. Soon enough they would realize what he was doing. A loud noise could be heard as a really large sized bug came flying into the living room and so did a massive metal pair of shark jaws and it slammed into the ceiling. There was some sort of monologue coming from jaws room "The great Jaws stalks his prey with killer intent. The odd bug could not escape such a highly intelligent beast. " Jaws says as he came out of the room pulling the chain. The bug slowly crept out from under the metal jaws because it was far too small to be grabbed by them. Only an idiot would try to use something so huge...oh wait. Jaws looked in disgust and tugged the chain back "The wild bug had outsmarted the wise old shark, for it had its tricks the Jaws had his superior intellect and-" Jaws was cut off as the chain came straight back into his face. You see when you pull a chain out of the wall it is going to come back to you. But because he had to keep up his documentary he paid no attention and now had wounded himself. He quickly regained his standing and threw the chain away raising his fists. "The bug was really...." Jaws turned to look at the others in the room with a really weird face and slowly raised his fingers to point at them all "Bugging Jaws" he says before turning back to his epic battle. He quickly surged forward with what one might explain as a viking war cry and punched the wall completely missing the bug and hitting a main beam of the house "You could say I am really beaming with pain right now" Jaws says grasping his hand before he turned to the bug with a feral look and foam frothing at his mouth.

"The civilized Jaws slowly began to lose his temper, the bug clearly was using hacks and was cheating." Jaws says as he picked up a wall ornament and slammed it on the wall. Once he lifted it up all he saw was the remains of the ornament. The bug quickly left through the window and out to the real world. "NOOOO YOU CANT RUN FROM FATE YOU FIEND" he yelled as he fell to his knees. "I have dishonored the Jones name...SEPUKKU" Jaws says as he grabbed the ornament that was a painting and attempted to slap the sheet of paper across his chest to signify he was getting rid of himself for not killing the bug. He slowly fell to the floor and rolled around moaning and groaning in anger, his massive shark teeth showing. For some reason he did not say anything to the others.

The first male who had entered was silent, something that Rosemary was thankful for. She read her book in an eased quietude, a small smile on her face as she leaned against the arm of the couch. It was one of the many books her brother had given to her to take her mind off of the world around her, the current one being Requiem for a Dream. It was a dark story, possibly a bit too dark for her taste, though it did its job sufficiently; A story about some teens from Coney Island who thought they could pull through with a ‘get rich quick’ scheme after they score a pound of heroin, and the rest goes from there. It was written in a strange way, with curse words written in a ghetto fashion, the occasional first-person drizzled in with third person. Rosemary read book levels higher than this, though it was quite interesting to say the least. She was yet to see a book like this. It was better than Brave New World, which had an interesting concept and near flawless writing -- Though the story in itself just didn’t do it for her. She would allow her thoughts to wander, simply staring at her book now instead of reading it. The book critic in her was on a roll, until suddenly, the door slammed open and she was quick to jump up in shock, her heart pounding and her eyes wide.

Was that going to be one of her new roommates?! One mustn’t rely upon the initial impression of a person! She reminded herself, swallowing lightly as she shifted uncomfortably in her seat. Rosemary allowed her nerves to calm down as she listened to the interaction between three men, her anxiety already playing tricks on her as she hoped for the best. Only one way to find out… She thought to herself, tightening her lips before relaxing once again in a soft exhale.

Rosemary slowly stood up, hugging her book to her chest as she forced her legs to advance forward in one step. Nodding her head to both men, she smiled kindly and slid a foot back, her free hand tugging her long sweater aside in a half-curtsey before returning the hand to assist its partner in holding the book. “Good evening, guys.” She started, keeping her voice gentle yet kind in order to prove herself a good roommate, “I’m Rosemary, if you haven’t noticed. It’s a pleasure to meet you both.” She cleared her throat lightly, attempting to get some sort of good conversation going; The last thing she wanted was conflict, especially with the anxiety brewing within her. Ursula blinked...then she wiped at her eyes and looked around to see if this was a dream, blinked again, then looked back at Takahashi. Did she say...yes? Did she...really say yes? As in, yes yes?! Like, Really Yes?! Ursula made a loud gasp, jaw currently agape, and gave the girl a two wide eyes, slits moving around, trying to analyze any hint at a lie...but there was nothing...which meant...her face slowly contorted into a big excited smile and she began to shake in excitement. With a massive squeal that sounded more like demonic torture than an excited teenage girl, she grabbed the smaller girl by the arm and pulled her, soon enveloping her in a bone crushing (Exaggeration) hug, inadvertently smothering the 'Ninja' with her bosom. She had a friend, she had a friend, SHE HAD A FRIEND! After all those years of doing everything alone and or with her parents, she FINALLY had a friend! The very thought caused her to jump up and down in excitement, the floorboards beneath her creaking and slightly cracking. "WhEEEEEE! tHiS iS goNnA bE GREAT! wE'lL tAlK aBoUt CuTe bOyS, aNd Do OuR nAiLs, AnD wAtCh mOvIeS, aNd ShOp tOgEtHeR, aNd tRy eAcH oThEr'S cLoThEs," And the list went on and on and on as Ursula swung her New friend back and forth. This year went from sad to 1000% BETTER! She was so happy she had a new friend, she could just hug her for the whole ride!

-

And that's what she did!

Humming cheerfully to herself, Takahashi still in her arms, she oogled at the cabins all around them. WOW! She was going to live on her own! She could do so many things she could NEVER do at home! Like go outside...uh-uhm...go outside...well, that was the only thing she COULDN'T do at home besides eat ice cream after midnight. And to be honest, she had learned her lesson after last time. She had a stomach cramp for the whole morning! Shivering at the thought, her eyes widened when two keys were thrown their way, causing her to quickly drop Takahashi to catch both of them. With a big toothy smile that showed her sharp teeth, she handed Takahasi her key. "HeRe yA gO!"

@NekoQueen49

Not at all bothered by Ursula's treatment, Val was content to be carried. She still didn't understand the concept of 'friends' very much, but Ursula seemed excited by the prospect so Val didn't mind being 'friends'. It could be fun. Though, seeing the size difference between Val and Ursula, trying on each other's clothes would probably be difficult. And fun. Heh heh, hopefully those other things will be similar. How can one 'do' nails? And what were 'movies'? Ah, well, she was sure that she would figure it out eventually

After suddenly being dropped, Val was a bit knocked off her feet to respond quickly to a key being thrust into her face. "Eh?" Val regarded the shiny metal object with wonder before taking it and inspecting it. "Is this a jewel?" She asked with a blink. It was the only thing she could think of, not very used to metals and, well, keys in general.

Serena Masuda

She and her entourage had disembarked from the ferry without any further incident. She looked on curiously as the vice principal made his announcement, and parted the fog to reveal the academy grounds, as well as the surrounding cabins. The construction seemed to be decidedly middle ages, and she began to wonder how many creature comforts the living arrangements would come equipped with. As her key was tossed towards her, rather than catching it, a tiny gold portal opened up in front of her in the key's flight path, as the key got sucked straight into it. As the portal closed, she took note of some more minor banter between her two attendants, before Issen addressed her directly.

"Well, then at the very least I'll see to it that you don't sleep on the ground like some sort of rabid animal. In the meantime, perhaps I should see what sort of living arrangements have been prepared."

Having said that, she waved her hand towards Issen, intending for him to take the hint and stop kneeling, as she immediately made her way towards her cabin. She was about to summon her key from her Vault, before she realized that not only was the door already open, but all her roommates were already there. She didn't seem to take note of or address them, almost as if she viewed them as just part of the scenery or furnishings. All of which were now under her scrutiny as she made her way through the door into the common room. As expected, the furnishings were entirely middle-class in her eyes, and definitely left much room for improvement.

"I will have need of your services soon, but you may go acclimate to your own cabins first if you so choose."

She addressed the two that had been following her, as she took a seat in the main room. Her brow furrowed, as she realized the stiffness of the chair she was on. She'd endure it for the time being, but it was most certainly annoying her.

She had been rather silent and unassuming during the ferry trip, instead opting to observe as much as possible during the ride there. Upon disembarking, she slowly made her way to where the other students were gathering, carrying some sort of chair with runes engraved on it. She took careful note of all the different people, the vice principal, her rapidly shifting surroundings, as well as the cabin assignments. When her name was called out and her key tossed to her, she managed to free up a hand and catch it. After the assignments had been laid out, she immediately began to look for the Eagle cabin, assuming they were sufficiently labeled or otherwise marked out. Upon her arrival, she opened the door, and walked inside, her footsteps making very heavy clunking noises as she stepped on the floor. She noted that two people had already arrived ahead of her. Not wanting to make any mistakes, and seeing a good opportunity for social interaction, she spoke up. Her voice had a bit of a shallow echo to it, as though the sound was passing through a solid object, rather than organic material.

"This is the Eagles cabin, correct?"

@The Royal Keen

Arjean Soie

Location: Eagles' Cabin
Status: Extended a hand out to Estelle
Objective: Meet new friends
Mood: Excited

It wasn't much, but it was enough. There was a large pile of pre-set decorations shoved to a corner in Arjean's bedroom that they purposely took down. That was the pile for unflattering designs for whatever monster designed this bedroom. There was another, smaller, pile for the better crafted designs that they would put back up if they didn't interfere with their new plans for their room. Nearly nothing in the room was decorated other than their bed and shelves. Their bed had a nice soft fabric on it with a long fluffy pillow, and their shelves were filled with beauty products for their hair and clothing. They didn't have much time to finish up the rest of their redesigning since soon after their first part of their set-up they heard a voice. There was no point on depending on Junchi to greet the new person, but Arjean wouldn't want that anyways. They wanted to make friends and now was their chance to do so.

Exiting their bedroom they went to greet the new girl. Seeing her, they saw her beautiful long purple hair, yet something seemed off about it. It looked a bit fake, reminding Arjean of those dolls they would play with as a child. The hair didn't matter too much to them; there were many different types of creatures at this school, so it didn't surprise them that some would have an appearance they weren't used to.

Extending a gloved hand Arjean smiled widely and said to the girl, "Yes it is. Welcome! Are you one of our new roommates?" They tried to keep their voice quiet enough to not wake Junchi, but they were too excited to meet new people to really focus on their actions.

Nyx Ryzrel

Looking up, Nyx put her hand over her mouth as she giggled, listening to the twins' lighthearted bickering. She thought it was cute the way they teased one another and how defensive Oliver was of himself in front of Nyx. She felt as though he was trying to impress her to an extent, and it made her feel a bit special. Some strange noises were coming from one of the bedrooms, but before she could question what it was, Oliver spoke first.

Hearing his question, "That's a very pretty necklace. Where did you get it from?" she turned to look Oliver in the eyes.

"Oh, it's from one of my father's horns after he passed. I keep it around my neck because the scent is comforting," she told him. After sniffing it once more with an endearing smile, she added, "He was actually killed by a hunter. Normally, my people accept death easily, but we don't approve of killings and all that, y'know? It's not natural or whatever, so." She spoke casually, shrugging as she observed her necklace more.

Suddenly, the noises coming from the other room grew louder. "Okay, is anyone else hearing that--"

Without allowing her to speak any further, the grayish looking boy ran out of the room screaming some rather strange things, throwing a pair of..jaws..around? She had no idea what the boy was doing, but he seemed out of his mind. She took a step back quickly, stumbling slightly on the heel of her boot.

Mikado Maxwell - Owl Cabin

After her encounter with Seiji she had returned to her position beneath the stairs and resumed her work on her wireless adapter blueprints. As often happened when she was engrossed with her work time flew by and before she knew it they had already reached the island. She followed the rest of the students into the woods as she had the year previous. Just like last year she had wished they did this a bit more efficiently as standing around for twenty minutes. Eventually she was assigned a cabin and set off on her way to locate her new abode. It wasn't a terribly long walk but it was still more time added that she could be using in better ways. As she approached the cabin she noted a man slip inside, presumably one of her roommates. She followed after him and opened the door, walking into the main room as she gave the cabin a quick once-over. The interior was still as gaudy and undesirable as she remembered with the only noticeable differences being some commotion coming from one of the rooms and that one guy from the ferry lounging about.

She made her way over to the table and set her laptop down atop it before turning to look over at Wayne. "I didn't expect to share a cabin with you. Did you ever find the cute bitch?" She gave the boy a wry smirk at the crude and vague description he had given back on the boat. Without waiting for him to respond she plopped down in a nearby chair and slid her laptop in front of her, opening it before the soft clack of typing filled the room. Without even looking up from her computer she again spoke up. "You don't seem like a Yuki or Araneidae to me, and you're certainly not a Mikado, so that leaves Wayne or Jekkel." She left her sentence off there expecting the boy to understand the question she was getting at.

Wayne Yuveg

What the hell was this kid doing? It hasn't been a minute, and already he's wandering around aimlessly hanging up stuff. It looks like he brought along a hammock to sleep in instead of a bed. It's been something he thought about trying once, but always looked like a bother to set up. "Just keep it in your room, and out of the way." He wanted to say more, but he wanted to make it more of a big deal when everyone came so he could just make one big speech about it so that he could have a peaceful year in this cabin. Of course that probably wouldn't happen anyway, but he's going to make at least an effort to be comfortable at the cabin.

How about that, one of his roommates was going to be that one girl. What made her memorable was that the person she was standing beside was an ***. "Ya, maybe I'm looking at her right now, giving me a bad look. I found the one **** I wanted screaming at a big spider that probably attacked her. It tried to attack me to, but we docked so I didn't give a **** anymore and left." He watched her seat herself, trying to dive into her own little world. Looks like she knows how to mind her own business. "It's Wayne, and it sounds like you're Mikado. Before you get lost in your own little world, know that I'm gonna make an announcement when everyone actually gets here, so I won't have to repeat myself." He was a little jealous that the girl actually had a laptop to take for herself. His stuff usually didn't last to long, given all that goes on in his life. What he has on him now is actually mostly broken, only working while its plugged in at most..

She looked down at the gesture she was offered, and then took another good look at the people she was interacting with. She had only ever interacted with human wizards and smiths before, so the people inhabiting the cabin were quite unusual to her. She deduced that the hand gesture was some sort of social cue, and decided to extend her free hand in the same manner. She didn't actually shake her hand, just mimicked the current gesture that Arjean was displaying. Should Arjean decide to shake her hand, they'd find that her hand was devoid of any natural warmth, and felt like cold steel.

"I believe so. I am Estelle, and I have been assigned to this cabin for the year."

Oliver's smile faded somewhat as Nyx mentioned her fathers death, or rather, murder. His brow furrowed slightly in curiosity, noticing from her words that it was entirely possible that Nyx wasn't human, but before he could ask her - as politely as possible, of course - if his suspicions were true, their other roommate - the boy he had deduced to be Neptune Jones, made a second grand entrance into the main room, crashing about after what looked to be a bug of some sort before ending up on the ground, seemingly groaning in pain once again. Before Oliver could fully register the situation, he noticed Nyx stumbling backwards slightly, possibly due to being startled by the sudden entrance of the other student.

Thinking quickly, he reached out and gently grabbed both of her forearms, steadying her, before realising that the situation wasn't that dire, and he had probably just made a huge fool of himself. He swiftly moved back into his previous sitting position on the arm of the sofa beside his sister, hoping she wouldn't tease him about this later on. "Hey, you okay? That's our roommate. He... seems to like grand entrances."

Olivandra smirked at her brother, who seemed to already be flirting with a girl. It was ironic, in her opinion, as he was the one trying to prevent her from charming  again, but already he seemed to be restarting the game. Either that or he was actually attracted to Nyx, and somehow she doubted it. Oliver was usually into the more mature looking, independent girls, ones who were intellectual and deep thinkers, and from this short first impression, Olivandra doubted that this girl was that kind of person. However, she wasn't one to judge her brother for his opinions, including his romantic interests, and so she dismissed the thoughts for the time being and looked over at their roommate, who was rolling about on the floor. "Um, Neptune, or whatever your name is? You alright down there?" she asked hesitantly.

After rolling around for a bit Jaws realized the others were getting concerned even though he was just sad for not kill the bug. He jumped up and looked at them all "We had a mutual agreement, he could continue to live he just was not to touch me. And he did. So war ensued, sadly the weak ran and I, the great and powerful leader of my room could not handle such weakness. Sepukku was the only way." Jaws says trying to use an epic voice to tell his story but the others probably just thought he was crazy and did not care. Jaws looked to them all and lifted his hands once more "Guess you could say this joke is wearing....fin" He says doing the finger guns then transitioning to a very lazy looking stature as he threw himself onto a free chair and laid sideways. "Names Neptune Jones, half-shark but still kept all my beauty when I changed." he says changing his pose to that of the "paint me like one of your french girls" then slouching back in the chair clearly tired after his fight with the bug. "I heard all of you before I started the war, I am also a third year. Also everyone just calls me Jaws." he says not really paying attention to the three's faces and looks. He was too busy trying to catch his breath. It was clear he was a lazy person, because only a little bit of screwing around made him tired. That and he was groggy from sleeping on the ship after meeting the girl and the girl ghost.

Jaws cracked his arms and neck in his chair and stretched. "I am normally a lot more calm but seeing how a bug tried to attack me and the ceiling attacked me calmness was not happening." Jaws says finally taking a chill pill and was now lounging around on the lone chair near the others. He did not really notice the one girl almost falling because he was on the ground in pain. "We are missing a lot of roomies, right now its just me and you two oddly specifically colored twins. Because I am about 70% sure there was no Nyx in our room. Now don't quote me on that because I was not paying a whole lot of attention." Jaws says, he had a happy tone to him and seemed pretty chill even given his increasingly scary looks. Plus his weird freakout was not helping at all. He probably looked like either an idiot or a heathen.

Azure Zelo

With Ella already itching to go get a room, Azure figured that she maybe wanted to end this conversation so she could be on her way to be the proud first person to claim a room. There was some novelty to being the first to make something a part of their own thing, he could easily understand that, so why not let her be the first. "I think I'll uh... let you go so you can unpack and all that. I guess we can talk more or something after that." Azure left her to address his own bags, and noticed Serena make her way inside. His 2nd roommate was also a girl it seemed. It didn't really mean anything to Azure what gender his roommates are, but it was something to note regardless. He didn't seem to catch her attention at all, but that isn't his fault, Azure isn't exactly a dominating figure, and in fact hardly has any presence anywhere at all, that you could swear you can't see him in a crowd, as if you could make a game out of trying to pick him out of the crowd. On the other hand, the new girl seemed to have a lot of presence despite just sitting across the room, or maybe Azure couldn't focus on anything else. Either way, now would be a good time for a good first impression for him to make, since he could have a one on one chat with the new girl, and went on over.

"Uh, hey, looks like you're going to be my 2nd roommate right?" For some reason, Azure felt a little endangered talking to her. He wasn't sure why, but it made him a little nervous, and had trouble giving the girl direct eye contact after a few seconds, and ended up looking away, while taking a hand to scratch the back of his head. One of the problems of always wearing gauntlet type gloves no matter where you are, is how difficult it is to actually scratch an itch that wasn't even there... At least he was still determined to interact with her at least, and be polite still...

Nyx Ryzrel

Nyx gasped slightly as she stumbled over, blushing a bit when Oliver gently grabbed her forearms to steady her. She felt embarrassed for a short moment before a smirk crept onto her face, suddenly pleased with herself for wearing heels that day.

The two regained their separate positions rather quickly. "Oh, thank you," she said as she looked up to Oliver with her cheeks still red, and then smiled warmly.

Nyx smoothed out her skirt once again, looking up at the new boy with wide eyes of curiosity. Oliver was certainly not wrong about the boy liking "grand entrances." He seemed to ramble on about himself, making jokes and puns rather easily. Although Nyx was a bit lost in his words, she thought he seemed quite interesting and wouldn't mind getting to know and understand someone of the sort. She was certainly intrigued by his species, or whatever he was. He said he was a...shark, right? Whatever that was. She had never heard of his kind.

Nyx began stroking a lock of her pastel purple hair slowly, facing the "shark" boy. "You have other roommates who still aren't here? Hm, wonder where they went...well, I'm going to take someone's spot if they don't show up." She blew a large pink bubble with her gum, still petting her soft hair, and once it popped she stopped to move closer to shark boy. "So, you're a what? A shark, you said? What's up with that? And what's on your neck? It looks peculiar--I'm curious." She rambled on, moving even closer to him with her hands placed behind her back. "Can I touch it?" she asked, although she was already petting the strange flaps on his neck before he could respond.

The girl waved bye to Azure as he walked away, as she then begun dragging her bags around the cabin while she was looking for a good room for her to pick. After a while she had convinced herself that the last room in the sequence was far better then all the others just by looking at it (and thinking that it was more yellow than the all the others). Ella then walked into the room she had chosen and shut the door behind her as she then laid her bags right on top of her bed so she could get started on her unpacking. The girl unzipped her first bag and pulled out 7 of her outfits that looked identical to the one she was currently wearing and stuffed them into a nearby drawer being too lay to actually hang them up. The girl then pulled out 3 more outfits, one of them was in all black, and the other 2 were 2 different sundresses with knee-high leggings. She then took one of her bags that was filled with electronics and laid it right besides her bed. (I'm time skipping to her finishing packing her bags because everything else is really just general things you would bring like hygiene tools, hair brushes etc..) When the girl finally finished her packing she immediately flopped down to her bed as she held one of her electronics in her hand while she took a  breather from carrying her stuff all across her room for the past few minutes.

Location: Eagles' Cabin
Status: Shaking Estelle's hand
Objective: Eat
Mood: Happy | Hungry

Arjean found Estelle's mimicking of their gesture a bit weird. Sure, at times human gestures caught Arjean off too, but they thought a handshake was one of the most common ones out there. They still decided to shake her hand and smiled kindly to her. What Arjean could feel of her hand through their gloves felt nice. It felt like steel, yet it was the coldness that made them feel pleasant. Their hands were also very cold, but that was something that came naturally of their type of species. Considering Estelle's lack of knowledge of human gestures, fake-looking hair, and how unnatural her hands felt in comparison to a normal human, Arjean concluded she wasn't human, and it was obvious she wasn't an Oricenta too. She seemed to be something different, something artificial.

"Well it's nice to meet you. I assume you'd like to get settled in and fix up your room, correct?" Now that Arjean finished up part of their redecorating of their room they could hear their stomach growling for food. They figured that they did enough social interaction and deserved to eat something, and with all the forest and water surrounding the area there had to be some sort of meet available. "If you are, I will be in the kitchen, or outside, depends on how things go."

Jekkel laid in his hammock lazily. His room was nice it had a closet, desk, a dresser and some other little cubbies. He did not have many possessions to fill this little room. All that lie in his duffle bag was a couple pair of clothes and some other cool items he found over the years. Jekkel cocked his head at the sound of the door, he quickly glanced at his door only to get a glimpse of a person walking by. Her entrance was quickly followed by excessive swearing. From the sounds of it, she had no idea that Jekkel was in the cabin. Jekkel quickly popped his head out of his dorm. "Hello," He said with a small smile "Are you, Mikado?" He said with a curious tone. She was setting down a laptop in the living area table. Jekkel has never actually seen a computer/laptop in person, As cool as it was he should probably stay away from it the problem he has, He did not want to accidently set in on fire or turn it into an ice cube. As he asked his question he found a cozy recliner and sat down.

She looked up, finally taking note of the other people in the room, as one addressed her. The other retreated into their room, so that was a non-issue for the time being. She looked Azure up and down, with a judgemental gaze that seemed to pierce right through him.

"Yes, I will be. I am Serena Masuda, but you may refer to me with whatever title you wish."

She shifted slightly in her seat, having grown quite tired of the hard seating. Snapping a finger, she summoned a small gold portal next to her, as a small pillow poked out of it. Grabbing it, she stood up slightly, placing the pillow where she was sitting, then sat back down again. The portal immediately closed itself afterward. Her attention focused back on Azure, as her assessment of him was...incomplete. She was having a bit of trouble trying to figure out his gender, and his nervous demeanor was quite different from what she was used to.

"Is there some sort of problem?"

She spoke out rather bluntly, reading rather little from any social cues present.

She was immediately alarmed when her hand was grabbed, expecting the possibility of a hostile action - running dozens of possible scenarios through her head in an instant, and having a reaction ready for any of them. However, all that happened was a handshake and that was the end of that. She decided it must be a gesture for greeting people, noted that down for the future, and retracted her hand once the handshake was done.

"Yes, I should be acclimating myself to my new quarters. It was...nice to meet you."

There was a slight shift in her tone near the end, a bit softer than it had previously been. As she finished addressing Arjean, she shifted her weight slightly to balance out the chair she war carrying, and turned to the doors leading into the different bedrooms. She chose one of the unoccupied rooms seemingly at random, and walked inside, her footsteps still making very heavy thumps as she walked. Closing the door behind her, she placed the chair down, and sat in it. The runes in the chair glowed, as it began absorbing ambient magical energy from it's surroundings. This chair would be where Estelle would spend every night, as the chair absorbed magic from around it, and she absorbed magic directly from the chair.

Azure Zelo

There was something about the way the girl was looking at him that was intimidating, like he was being cross-examined or something. It certainly wasn't a good feeling he was having now from that, but he tried his best not to get unnerved by her... "Oh, I see... I-It's nice to meet you Serena, my name is A-Azure Zelo, but I guess you could call me w-whatever too..." He raised a hand toward her shake hands and greet her, hopefully to remove this unnatural tension he was feeling around her. It wasn't fair at all toward her, and Azure hated feeling like this. He was quite surprised to see something magical happen... probably because of her, considering she just got herself a pillow like it was nothing. He wondered what kind of magic it was, but thought that prying, if he wanted to know that badly, should come later. "O-oh... uh...?! No...? Nothing's wrong!" Was she yelling at him already? She definitely didn't sound happy from what he could tell, and lead he to making a confused and concerned face, and did he best to actually look at her, forcing himself to look at her directly, all while trying to get a handshake off still.

She glanced down at his hand, as she looked visibly irritated for a moment. Offering her a casual handshake, as though they considered themselves one of her peers? The sheer audacity of it put her off, but she quickly regained her composure. She figured it would be better to let this transgression slide, and humor him while he could still muster up enough nerve to even speak to her.

"If you insist that nothing's wrong, I suppose I'll believe you for the time being."

She took his hand for the handshake, but put nearly no effort into shaking hands. She had no intention of humoring him entirely, and would cross her arms again as soon as that gesture was over.

Name: Iris Fortune

Year: 3rd Year

Location: On The Way To The Her Cabin, In The Academy

Iris felt bad. Other than the snowflake girl, she had insulted a couple of other freshmen and a few students who already knew of her. Still, the feeling wasn't anything new but she still didn't like the it. And hopefully, she'd never like it. Iris was frowning but she shook her head immediately. That wasn't what the Infamous, Troublemaking Jinxer would look like. She'd look like she was ready for a fight 24/7. Of course, that wasn't true but no one needs to know that. Nodding to herself, her face once again molded into the signature expression she had grown used to, and yet, tired of.

Iris knew exactly where to go but she was certain that she shouldn't go in there. She didn't know exactly why but she could think of dozens of reasons. One of them being there'd probably be people and when there's people, Iris would have to keep up her wanton act. For the umpteenth time that day, the horn-haired girl shook her head. She decided to replace those sullen thoughts with a more sanguine one. With that, she thought of her new cabin's mascot. An otter. She didn't have any problems with the mentioned animal but she would've preferred a sabertooth or even a bear. But that might've been because those were the types of animals she liked.

Iris' mood got lighter but there was still a lot of scruples. That was still fine for her. She caught sight of her designated place. She stop a few steps. She closed her eyes. From all the harm she caused the past hour, she was successful in filling up her fuel. Seeing as though she was sure her fuel would increase the moment she stepped into her cabin, the so-called witch decided to use at least half so there would be space. Iris took a few more steps back before looking around. She decided to just aim at anything. Her target was a random tree. Both of her hands were raised. Her fingers were directed to the tree. She took a deep breath then exhaled before chanting;

"O, tree so healthy, tree so green,

Spread your roots out, let them be seen.

Trip people, let them kiss the ground,

Return to normal once you make someone confound!"

Iris couldn't help but let out a sigh at the sight. The roots of the tree emerged from the ground like they were vines. Before she could feel anymore horrible, she continued her way to her new home. When she got inside, she stood at the doorway, examining her new roommates. She was slightly confused. Counting herself, there should have been enough people so then who was the extra person? After a few seconds of thinking, she gave up. It wasn't important anyway.

As Iris continued to assess her new roommates, she remembered the fact that the people in this room probably knew of her reputation. Even she could vaguely remember them. She was sure she's seen the literal horned girl somewhere. The same could not be said for the blue haired guy. Maybe they never brushed past before. Either that or she had forgotten. Her attention shifted to the red heads. She knew she had seen and heard of them before. But she couldn't quite remember.bThere was a nagging in her mind. Telling her that she should stay away not because they were a threat to her secret but they were a danger to something else of hers. Iris was sincerely annoyed that she can't remember. It's a hassle to remember something again. In her attempt of recalling, she ended up just standing in front of the door while staring at the other students, especially the two redheads.

Azure was really started to get unnerved by this girl now. For whatever reason, she looked kinda offended at him just trying to greet her. Did he do something wrong? Was it not okay to try to get to know her? Did someone say something scandalous about Azure just to cause him some ire? He could feel it when he shook her hand, even through the gauntlets, how unpleasant the handshake exchange was for her. Seeing her there with her arms crossed made him wonder if she had a bad time on the boat or something, her mood really doesn't seem to be anything resembling a good one right about now. "Er... Are you alright though? It u-uh, I take it you didn't really like being on the ferry from earlier..." Thinking that maybe it was just a left over mood from bad occurrences toward her on that boat made him ease up a little, and wondered maybe if something was on her mind, maybe casually talking might break this tense atmosphere he was feeling. Hopefully he'd get on her good side like this, because living with people who aren't exactly at least fond of Azure wouldn't do much to put his own mind at ease.
