The Blade King

sorry, i just realized that the original thread might have been in the wrong section.


Im looking for a mature person to RP with, I have a (what i think) pretty neat idea for a story regarding revenge against a demigod known as the blade king.


This is an idea for an RP i had while outside for a smoke.


Setting: A fantasy setting known as Terravok. a land of many cultures and as such is very flexible in setting style.


you would play either a male or female character who's family has been slaughtered by an enigmatic figure known only as "the Blade King". The Blade King leaves you alive because he senses much potential in you and seeks a worthy opponent.


this story will be a frustrating one. one of loss and bloodshed. and while explicit content will be present, I promise not to let it get out of hand or contain anything pornographic .


as is my favorite way of doing things, the story will develop as we the writers make interesting characters and their actions write the story. i am very free flowing and


as this is my first RP I'd like it if you, as the community, would please please please post any questions or suggestions you might have.

How would the story flow? would you play another character or narrate it? The idea behind it is good, and I'd for sure be interesting in working it out. I do foresee a few problems, but nothing that good partner that talked couldn't work around.

sorry i didnt see this post earlier: it would run more like a DnD campaign where there is no dice involved, where i would tell the story and the other person would narrate their own characters actions. we would agree in the ooc chat to what extent of puppeting of another's characters. for instance, should it further the plot. i would take a little control over the other persons character in order to direct a particular segment of an action scene, taking in respect the skill of the other players character as has been developed over the course of the story.

@Aktherion That sounds good. I am really looking to the Rp. Would the character set up be more free form or more like a general D&D style? Please Pm and We'll set it up, I think this can develop it is an amazing story.
