Salvete. I'm new to this site, but a veteran roleplayer. I've been roleplaying for over 5 years now. Like everyone, I admit that I absolutely sucked at roleplaying for the longest time before I learned to be more professional.


Genres I Roleplay: action, adventure, supernatural, fantasy, mythical, magic, horror, humor, sci-fi, ancient times, alternate universes, etc.


Genres I Refuse to Roleplay: romance, fluff, love triangle, OCxCrush, mature, realistic, zombies, and a few more. The biggest no-no is romance or anything like that, okay?


I also roleplay a lot of fandoms, mostly anime/manga, but I will rp some tv shows, movies, cartoons, books, and others.


The title of this thread is kind of a riddle. If any of you recognize it, please respond with the other half. If you don't, that's fine.

You'll definitely be glad you found us. We have plenty of roleplays that are likely going to be right up your alley and romance is easy enough to avoid that you shouldn't encounter any major issues. I also enjoy rping in a lot of fandom universes so it's always great to meet more people jumping onto that wagon.


Unfortunately, I am lost as to your riddle, but I figured I could still say hi anyway.

As much I would like to know, I don't need to. I like a bit of mystery behind someone. It keeps me thinking.

Fairly well. I have been a bit tired as of late. I also joined the site as of late to help keep my brain creative.
 
Ah. It's certainly a place to do such. Although it's hard to find many people who stick around with a complex roleplay. Still looking...still looking.

Stories work out, and sometimes they don't. I personally do Roleplay because A) you can explore theoretical situations, and B) make friends. You really get to know someone by the characters they make.
 
I suppose. It's a good point. But no one really compromises anymore. It's pretty difficult finding a decent roleplayer who is interested in the same things as you are. Story and friends hardly seem to matter if you can't even go through an entire conversation with someone.

A lot of things happen to people. High school / college / jobs makes up a lot of time, people could be having OOC issues, aren't feeling up to being on the site, and so on. I wish that if people gave the level of effort I desired, but I remember that people aren't me.


That being said, if people roleplay, people should put in an effort to at least try. If a roleplay doesn't work out, don't just leave. There has to be a reason, or an explanation. People'll understand that way.
 
That's what I meant, not putting in the effort and just jumping to a new rp with someone new because they were 'bored' even though they said nothing. I understand life and such. But then they shouldn't make the obligation. And they should always say something.

I see your point, but sometimes they don't want to go into detail. Also, stuff can come outta nowhere.


What type of Roleplays have you done lately?

Welcome to RPn, While I'm new here as well, I've been rping for quite a while and heard about this site through others. So far it's been nothing but good experiences, and I'm sure you'll meet some awesome people to RP with. Enjoy your stay :3

I see you are quite a fan of vampires. You know, with the Ripley scroll and all. I really am open to more realistic plot-lines, but I like conflict and ultimatum-driven roleplays. Not exactly a fandom person myself.


I am actually looking for a 1v1. Perhaps we can do something?
