Realistic or Modern The beginning of the end

Mitchell stares at the abyss that he once called home it was bombed by the previous terrorist attacks he then looked back at the man tied up in his house, or whats left of it he then picked up a tire iron and smacked him above the head ending his life finally he then looked back and saw nothing but ash and fire and he looked once again at the man and spat on him. I looked all around in the shattered apartment I stood in, with my leg and arm broken I walk towards the hole which used to be the town I lived in

I looked around and decided it was time to leave I started to move when I heard a noise it sounded like a moan I pulled out a revolver and looked back at the man I thought I killed but it wasn't him. I then began to investigate the noise when I saw what appeared to be a body pearing through the window. again I heard that dead moan. It haunted me and racked at my brain. I ran up to the apartment where it was coming out of.
