I'm sorry if I'm being annoying, but like I can't imagine people not knowing about Greed's massive golum army. Nor do I think that he would keep his son a total secret. That being the case, why wouldn't everyone want to have an army that would pose no loss of life to the general?

Well in Gluttony's case, he hardly has any relations to the 14 since he is mostly on his own self discovery quests. Lust being the exception though--

Because those who do manage to escape the Empire would never have gotten out if they were close enough to the center to know your character's identity.
The Golem armies are known, their creators are not. Greed will never willingly part with things he wants to keep. He'll always try to figure out how to either keep them or take them back.
