The Band RP

Sparkplug took the paper without a word, giving the sheet in her hand only a quick glance. The female gave a small nod of notification to Bella, but nothing else. Her black combat boots were silent against the hard ground as she walked. Sparkplug had an interesting walk. It was determined, empowered, strong, but not at all cocky or snooty. It was a natural movement for her, to go about that way, and she was completely oblivious to it and the effect it may have on others regarding their opinions. Maybe she would notice had she actually given a single care about any opinion somebody might have at her. Sparkplug had been notified of a fair share of "negative" opinions about the likes of herself that usually ended in the other person making the sad mistake of attempting to strike her.

And it was just that, a sad mistake.

The girl was suddenly fully aware of the address she now twirled between her fingers. Of course she would bring her own instruments. It was strange to her to think of playing with these strangers and their devices. Sparkplug was a one-man-band to the core of her heart. If she didn't desperately need the money that this opportunity provided, you can bet your ass she'd be leaving here like a bat outta hell. These people were nothing more then human instruments who would help her achieve her goal.

Well, that's what she would continue to try and convince herself of, at least.

Lost in her thoughts Sparkplug didn't realize she had already come to her ride. The female couldn't help but allow a shadow of a smile in that single second (no longer then that). One of her pride and joys, this baby was just that, her baby. A Suzuki Hayabusa, the motorcycle which haunted the desires of most. It could go up to a whopping 248 mph (397 km/h).

This Japanese origin motorcycle is using 1340 cc, 4 stroke, four cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC, 16 valve engine. This Suzuki manufactured bike can reach 248 mph (392 km/h) on its top speed. The power can be produced is 197 horsepower (147 kw) @ 6750 rpm. Transmission system used is 6 speeds with constant mesh. She built it from near scratch, and every time she saw the haunting black paint and streaks of fire-like electric blue, Sparkplug couldn't help but remember the amazing feeling of that very moment when she had completed the project.

The girl adjusted her jacket before gracefully slipping onto the seat, shoving the the note into her pocket. She had already memorized the address, and to save time, would be heading over there now. After all, what was the point in waiting around for a half hour doing nothing? Putting the key into the ignition, Sparkplug just had to savor the sweet sound of the purring engine.

After hearing Mari's comment, Blake decided he should chime in. Not only for the sake of kindness but also because he did have genuine faith in her abilities, and maybe a little bit jut for himself. "Mari, how long have we known each other? And I still can't figure out why it is, that sometimes you are a pillar of confidence and other times such lil self assurance it's like another girl completely. I'm no shrink but I'll tell you this, I think they're both great people. You should barrow over some of that confidence to the girl that's inside there trying get out. I've seen her, you shouldn't hide her away from the world. This here is a motley crew for sure, but capable and I think it's up to that young lady Bella to bring us together and make the pieces fit. You gotta stick around and see before you dismiss yourself so quickly. And hey if you changed your mind and you don't wanna do this, i can dig it. You got to do your thing, but maybe stick around for my sake. This is all new to me too. It'll be good to know your here."

Mari was inspired by her friend's impromptu speech. "You're right. Why shouldn't I? I'll go, If they don't need a vocalist, I can always do publicity..." She found herself growing more and more excited. "Yeah! It's gonna be awesome!" She grinned. "Wanna give me a lift there?"

Connor gladly took the piece of paper and read the address. Hmm, not too far from my house. I was going to go home and get a ride, but I can probably walk there in thirty minutes. He figured he'd have time to stop at his house, too. Waving to the group, Connor said, "I'll walk there, if that's okay... I think I can make it in thirty minutes. I'll pick up an amp at my house also." Then he turned from them and began walking.

"For sure." Blake responds too Mari "Plenty of room without a drum kit in there. Kinda convenient this girls parents own a music shop, ey ?" He spots Conner walking off. "Hey, Conner right? You need a ride budro?"

Connor turned and saw Blake. Looking at the piece of folded paper that held the address again, he said, "Oh... yeah sure. My house's near the shop so you can just drop me off there, thanks."

Bella finishes hand out the notes and she smiled. "Okay guys! See yea there!" She smiled as she got on her bike. "I'm still surprised that people really showed up..." She quickly rode her bike home and ran inside her house. "Mom!! Dad!!! I'll be in the studio if you need me!! and if anyone come knocking on the door, tell them to go next door." She yelled and runs into the studio.

In less than 30 minutes, San Yeol drove to her home and headed to the designated place. She was there ten minutes early. Shrugging, she searched for a parking spot. Finding one quick enough she skillfully maneuvered the Lexus LFA into a spot. The blueish black vehicle stood out everywhere she went. Yes she was rich, but she'd worked to pay off this loan herself. Getting out she put her sunglasses off of her face and put it into her messy ruffled hair that was tied in a knot. The navy-blue interior accompanied the metallic coating and as she skillfully pulled every piece of equipment from her car she made her way to the address on the note. Looking at the number on the house she doubted if she was at the right place. When she knocked on the door a woman with a slight resemblance to Bella opened up, her mother. "Ah I'm here because Bella is having auditions" she said the woman noted her to take the next door, saying that that was where the studio was. So again she knocked. Putting down the heavy amplifier. She knew Bella had said she'd probably have everything they needed. But honestly speaking, she couldn't just use any amplifier for her instruments, they were sensitive and rare and not every bit of equip could be fitted onto it. "Hey, Bunnyrabbit!" she yelled hoping to get an answer.

Sean walked home with his earphones in his ears mouthing the words to the song he was listening to. He arrived at his apartment and unlocked the door quickly, he was quite tired. Sean lives by himself because he ran away from home, you could say he had a very troubled childhood.

Bella was tuning her guitar when she heard someone yelling her name. "I'll be right there!" She walked over to the door and opens it, still tuning her guitar. She looks up and sees San Yeol. "Hey... come on in... I see you brought your own stuff." She smiles and opens the door wide.

San Yeol smiled politely as the door was opened to her. "Thanks, this is pretty heavy" she said passing the girl on her way in. Putting it down on a far end of the room she looked around , replying "Yeah, it's hard enough to tune my instruments as it is, I don't want to waste more time figuring out which adapter I'd need for your equip" she said, explaining her motives. The studio was large enough, she was ashamed to say she didn't quite have the opportunities to have on build at her own home. "I'm early, sorry. I can just sit in the corner and wait for the others to show up while tuning everything, if that's ok with you" she said rearranging her stuff to be by a power point. Pulling out her laptop she plugged her amplifier in and got out her pedal-board, plugging that in. Looking up she smiled widely, clearly, she was enjoying this. "So, Bella, you have this lovely place to yourself?" she asked

Bella nods. "My parent brought this place when I turned twelve." She smiles. "I don't have any official songs yet but I..." She pauses and tunes her guitar. She then strums a few chords and smiles. "Perfect.." She mumbles with a giggle. "But anyway... I don't have any songs of my own yet but I do record a lot of song covers."

Noel had went home to take a shower and fixed her hair. She grabbed her board after putting out food for her dog and ate. She hoped on her board after locking her door and skated out. She rode down a hill and to the address. She adjusted the strap of her bass and sighed drinking water from her bottle. She knocked on the door getting the same treatment the girl before got. Noel took a deap breath and knocked on the second door,"don't worry Life"she mumbled referring to her bass.

Nodding, she opened the ledges off the first case pulling out a black Hurdy Gurdy set with golden baroque style engravements. "Ah, yes, I know that stage" she replied distracted. Turning the wheel a round she put the first drone string against it, a constant sound was produced. Followed by a grumble from San Yeols side as she put on the second drone-string a fifth higher. When she was pleased she lay a melody-string onto the rosined wheel. "So, you curious yet?" she asked laughing as she continued. "Off Tune" she noted and started turning the knobs on the other end of the instrument she continued to turn the crank. Good enough, yet another melody string was put on before a knock on the door. She stopped.

Bella opens the door and strums her guitar. "Hey Noel! Glad you made it..." She smiles and opens the door wider. She then continues to strum and begins to hum a little. She hums the song 'Wide Awake' by Katy Perry. It wasn't one of her favorite songs, but she sang it for her friend's birthday party a few days ago and now she could get the song out her head. "I'm wide awake." She sings quietly and closes her eyes. Her voice was gentle and melodious. "I'm wide awake.."

Noel smiled,"I see that"she said making a pun about the lyrics. She closed the door behind her and sat in a chair taking her bass out of it's case. She then rested her arm on the body of her bass,"oh if you here me saying Life it's the name of my bass so..."she said feeling awkward about naming her bass.

Giving a curd nod to Noel, San Yeol went back to tuning her instrument. Putting on the last two strings. A continuous humming low sound originated, quick, slow, each time it was different. She turned the pegs, tuning it into perfection. She wanted a spot, so she had to do good. Plugging it into the equipment she turned. A different sound this time. A smile crossed her face before she looked up at Bella "This one is done at least" she hummed happily. "You spend 90% of your time tuning the thing and 10% actually playing a tune" she laughed a bit sarcastically.

Bella notices that she was singing and blushes a bit. "O-oh... I didn't realize I was singing..." She then laughs a little. "Anyway... what kinds of music do you guys like?" She asked with a slight smile. "I like pretty much all kinds of music..."

Sparkplug had been driving for a few minutes now. Through the harsh winds of the speed, her black and blue helmet shielded her head and face from prying eyes, just the way she liked it.

But in seemingly no time at all, she had arrived at the designated address. The bike twirled to the side, lightly skidding to a halt. The girl pulled off the helmet, running a hand through her short hair. With a sigh, Sparkplug pulled out the key from the ignition, hung the "head-shield" on the end of a handlebar, and skillfully slipped off the motorcycle. She patted the side of her prize before strolling to the door. Glancing at the paper once again, a small frown dominated her face.

Hopefully these people weren't such noobs. A couple of them appeared to be pretty decent, but she knew not to judge talent by appearance. Some cases, however, could reveal a lot more then others would think. Just by glancing at a person's fingers, you could tell what instrument they played and how often they played it.

Life was funny that way.

Sparkplug knocked on the door, taking on a bit of an annoyed expression. When a woman opened the door, she must be Bella's mother, she found herself immediately redirected to a completely different area. Without saying a word, the girl proceeded to the supposed location of this "studio". Coming to the next door, she gave a couple raps on the closed entrance.

"This better not be a waste of my time...", she grumbled, tapping her foot on the ground in impatience.

Bella opens the door and smiles. "Hey Sparkplug. Come on in and take a seat. We're just waiting for the others to show up." She sighs a little and goes back to strumming her guitar.

(So short x.x)

San Yeol looked up to see the girl who had previously crept up behind her. The room seemingly started to shrink in proportions and became smaller. A little nervous she turned to Bella. "Hey Bella would it be ok if I went into the booth and played a bit?" she asked

"Bella." She said the name in greeting, tilting her head to the side as she lightly brushed past the girl and entered the room. Sparkplug looked around, turning her head as to gain a proper view of everything around her. She had a personal hatred of being in closed spaces with other people, and it took all of her willpower to not reveal her growing discomfort. The female noted the others that had already joined, specifically San Yeol, the other girl who was fond of playing those most uncommon instruments. Sparkplug didn't say anything else, only walking over to a rack of stands to lean by the conjoining wall. She crossed her arms, suddenly feeling the comforting weight of the keyboard on her back.

She looked at San Yeol and nodded. "Sure... go ahead.. knock yourself out..." She smiled and puts her guitar down. She then walks over to a microphone stand, her nickname 'Bella' was all over it. "Just gonna set up my stuff... if someone shows up...let them in..." She then puts her microphone on the stand, the mic had skull stickers all over it. After that, she grabbed her favorite guitar, it was black and it had a few bunny stickers on it. She plugged it into her amp and strummed a few chords. She sighs and starts to tune it. "How does my guitars always sound off when I came in here. I always tune them before bed and by morning they sound like crap..." She grumbles to herself.

Opening the door to the booth, San Yeol held it open with her foot as she pushed her equip into it. The soundproofed room was an oasis of calmth and quiet. Perfect. Tapping something into her laptop she put it onto a small table that was present. Putting her pedals down and her amplifier directly connected to her laptop and pedals, which were also wired to her instrument she turned the crank and nodded. A tap to the pedal and

firstly strumming the drones, another tap to the pedal, short takes of the wheel and presses of keys, another tap quicker movements. Starting to form a rhythm as she tapped another time and made a new melody-line over it. Giving it a quick tap again she started drumming with her fingers upon the wooden outset, another tap. And the main-course was served. The original sound of the hurdy-gurdy sounded through the room. Her fingers moving swiftly over the keys, her thumb reaching the buzzing bridge ever now and again. Echoing in its presence. San Yeol was clearing enjoying it.

Bella watches San Yeol and smiles as she listens to her play. Ahe thought that San Yeol had a gift. She thought that her music was beautiful and unique and... different. She giggles alittle and goes back to setting her things up.
