The boy held the cigarette between his lips as he leaned against the brick wall of the school, his senior year was here. Ezra had never been scared, but now he was becoming an adult and he had no ambitions.
​

Even he knew, being a badass wouldn't get him anywhere in the adult world. He watched as his classmates chattered excitedly for the future, they wanted to be lawyers, accountants, interior designers... What the hell was he going to be. That's when he saw her, she had been there since elementary school but he had never spoken to her, sure he used to pull her pigtails but that was years ago, it had been years since that time in his life.

kendall continued to scribble away in her notebook and blocking out all the chattering going on. senior year was here and her heart couldn't be more fluttery. she was finally gonna be able to make plans for her future and make every second of her last year count. kendall smiled small and lifted her head up for a quick second, to find Ezra Ford looking at her. she rolled her eyes and continued to doodle.

kendall has always had an issue with this guy. since preschool, he's been trying to turn her life to shit for the longest time ever. hasn't happened yet.

He nodded his head biting his lip as he put his cigarette out on the ground and rubbed it into the ground with his shoe. He slowly walked over to Kendall who was scribbling away in her notebook

"Excited for senior year aye, Clark?" he questioned smirking slightly "Any plans for after school?" he asked her curiously as he leaned against a wall.
