She said before turning to Jason as he lifted an eyebrow "pff...like that means anything now a days....the world ain't the same....who gives a rat ass if ya were a cop, your nothing but a nobody, like the rest of us...just a nobody with a rusty old badge." He spat.

"You can think what you want to....but that's a stupid way to think....the world had different rules now. So don't care if you were a cop...you are in our territory and you...those kids and the rest of the people that came with you better keep in their line..." He huffed before walking away back into the farm house.

"Oh me?...oh um yes...why wouldn't I be? Really I'm fine my brother,... is just a but stressed out lately with the world all crazy and all...." she walked passed him and picked up one of the hens that was by his side. "Dont pay much mind to him he isn't so bad..." she said never making eye contact with Jason as she walked over to Adrez and Ali who were by the sidelines "Ya kids wanted to pet one?...Henrietta is a sweetheart she likes pets" she said speaking to the kids

(Also so will never amit that her family is abusive....just to let you know :p)

The hen cooed as it fluffed up in Amelia's arms. "See told you she likes them..." Amelia lightly giggled. "...she dosnt bite your fingers?...my sister said they can get a bit grumpy and peck at you..." Andrez said walking over to pet the chicken as well. "Well no she wont bite she is a nice one...but there are some meanies in the flock....but they mostly get pecky when you mess with their babies...and well there are two old hens that just hate the world" Amelia said laughing to herself.

Amelia smiled watching the two kids interact with the hen. Her smile disappeared as Jason started to question her. "yes of course...they are my family....why would you even ask such a question." she replied.

Amelia said not getting a very good feeling as she handed the hen to Andrez "ya kids can hold her for a bit, just let her down gently and be best if ya stay clear of the coop while your stay...dont want Jedidiah to come out yellin at yall..." The girl got up and dusted off her pants "I better be off...gotta help my moma with super..." Amelia said before walking off back towards the farmhouse.

Andrez nodded as he sat down under the shade of the tree with the hens on his lap.

Mirabelle had been watching the farmer and his two sons gather the alcohol and make their way back for the farm house. Once inside she left the side of the big rig. Everyone was settled in for the day the groups camp for the night was set up and everyone was off distracting themselves or walking around stretching their legs. Mirabelle decided to walk off and look out to the pasture, leaning against the fence and watching the cows.

Mirabelle was a bit distracted watching the cows graze when she felt something on her shoulder, quickly turned around, she got startled. "Oh its you Jason...hehe you startled me..." she chuckled of embarrassment as she looked at him "everything okay?..." she asked

"Oh..." Mirabelle frowned as she leaned against the fence. "I know the feldmen.... done vet vists and actually helped that cow be born a year ago..." Mirabelle said pointing out to a brown speckled cow in the field. "Me and my coworker had reported this family....however nothing was ever done....the father is good at hiding it when it comes to the authority's..." Mirabelle said
