Open your eyes.

You appear to not remember this place, child.

This is the Arena, Center of Battle.

I know what you think, child. No, they cannot hear me.

They have heard me before you, however.

You must not remember who you are.

.

.

That is okay.

I see your power. You will offer a lot to this place.

Or not. Perhaps I have seen wrong?

.

.

No, there is power.

I see your power. The power of the Champion.

You needn't say it, child. I am Ultima. I am the Arena.

I am you. And them.

.

Let us begin.

The Sanctuary: The Sanctuary is where the characters rest and relax between rounds. They can sleep on the couches, chat, or eat and drink at the restaurant. It is very much like a lounge. They can't use their weapons here, or use spells and abilities.

The Arena: This is where the rounds take place. It consists of a central, circular Field sector with a diameter of 50 meters. This is where Ultima spawns at the end of each round. It is surrounded by six sectors, of varying sizes. The total diameter of the Arena is 2 kilometers. There are the Ocean sector, which is mostly water, with a few islands and ships. Its neutral monsters are water based, and often sneak up on contestants, or are pirates on some of the ships. Then, there's the Forest sector, which is a forest. Its neutral monsters are mostly wild creatures, like bears and wolves, that charge and maul contestants. It also has an Icecap sector, which is tundra and glaciers. Its neutral monsters are mostly very solitary and strong predators that match the environment, like polar bears. There is also the Volcano sector, which consists of a jagged ashen wasteland and one or two volcanoes. Its neutral monsters are mostly lava creatures and dragons. There is also the Void sector, which consists of floating chunks of land in an antigravity area. Its neutral monsters are very rare, but consist of twisted, poisonous creatures from every other sector. The last sector is the Wasteland sector, which is mostly tar pits and poisonous swamps. Its neutral monsters are wretched, poisonous creatures that are slow and easily created.

All sectors, except the Field sector, have legendary creatures that are extremely hard to kill, but grant bonuses to the team who kills them. Two of them per game carry a Death scroll instead of their bonuses. The scroll goes to the person who deals the last hit, although the creature's stats are doubled, making it much harder to kill.

In the Ocean sector, there is the Kraken (HP: 5000 Rng: 50 m Dmg: 20 Atk Spd: 2 atks/min/limb Def: 10 Spd: 2 m/s Acc: 95% Bonus: +100 HP until their next death), who spawns near an island and attacks with its 6 tentacles, sinking ships and killing the sailors. There is also Captain Exerge (HP: 1000 Rng: 4/20 m Dmg: 40/20 Atk Spd: 1 atk/s// 6 atks/min Def: 20 Spd: 10 m/s Acc: 99%/85% Bonus: Pirates no longer attack without being attacked), who spawns with a large ship and crew and attacks with a saber and pistol. His ship sinks with him.

In the Forest sector, there is the Sasquatch (HP: 200 Rng: 2 m Dmg: 50 Atk Spd: 10 atks/min Def: 50 Spd: 5 m/s Acc: 85% Bonus: +5 base dmg), who spawns near the largest tree in the forest and avoids battle until confronted. There is also the Packleader (HP: 500 Rng: 1 m Dmg: 10 Atk Spd: 10 atks/s Spd: 20 m/s Acc: 90% Bonus: +1 atk spd), who spawns near the Wolf Den and prowls before lunging and mauling the passerby.

In the Icecap sector, there is only the Snow Golem (HP: 5000 Rng: 10 m Dmg: 50 Atk Spd: 1 atk/min Def: 100 Spd: 1 m/s Acc: 80% Bonus: +10 def), who spawns near a crevice in the largest glacier and uses a large hammer to devastate anything or anyone in its path.

In the Volcano sector, there is only the Grand Dragon (HP: 2500 Rng: 10/100 m Dmg: 20/50 Atk Spd: 1 atk/s// 1 atk/min Def: 50 Spd: 3 m/s// 30 m/s Acc: 95%/50% Bonus: +2 m/s of spd), who spawns in the Dragon's Lair on the side of the volcano and flies around, on the hunt.

In the Void sector, there is only the Wretched One (HP: 200 Rng: 3 m Dmg: 5 w/ 1 dmg/s for 5 s Atk Spd: 1 atk/s Def: None Spd: 30 m/s Acc: 99% Bonus: +1 dmg/s for 5s per attack), a twisted black giant human-esque form that spawns on one of the landmasses in the Void and quickly jumps from landmass to landmass, decimating all it sees.

In the Wasteland, there is the Tar Avatar (HP: 5000 Rng: 1 m Dmg: 15 w/ 5 dmg/s for 5 s Atk Spd: N/A Def: 10 Spd: None Acc: N/A Bonus: + 1 m rng), who appears over the largest tar pit, and never moves. Whenever attacked, its tar reaches out through the path of the attack to damage the attacker. It also damages whatever touches it. There is also the Fossil (HP: 500 Rng: 20 m Dmg: 50 Atk Spd: 1 atk/min Def: 20 Spd: 10 m/s Acc: 99% Bonus: If acc>or=50%, becomes 50%. If acc<50%, becomes 100%), a giant skeletal T-Rex that emerges from the Tar Avatar when it's defeated. It rampages, eating its enemies.

The Respawn Room: This room is where a person appears after they die. They appear between two plates in the middle of a circle, one representing the Field sector, the other representing their place of death. The plates in the circle represent the respective sectors in their according places.

The Private Arena: This Arena can only be accessed between rounds. It is a single sector the size of the Field sector, chosen by the person who initiates it. It can be used for practice or to carry out challenges.

General Rules:

1. BE REASONABLE FOR GOD'S SAKE.

2. Compound abilities are allowed, as is duel wielding, but there are limits to it.

3. Ultima will have representations of basic weapons and every spell in the RP, so you can check there for ideas.

4. Large weapons can't be duel wielded.

5. Swearing is allowed, but don't go overboard.

6. Although there really isn't much reason for romance, keep it pg-13, and fade to black if it, for some reason goes that far.

7. Put the phrase, "The fabulous Arena" somewhere in your character's profile.

8. You can talk to everyone or your team telepathically.

Character Rules:

1. Compound abilities are described as such: Abilities that take effect in different ways depending on the situation.

2. Points spent on compound ability effects can be used on a different effect if it doesn't take place in a different situation.

3. Weapons and Abilities are unique, but spells are not necessarily so. Remember that.

4. You can't edit your character's stats without permission or after your first post.

Combat Rules:

1. Combat will end when 20 (+10 for every 5 after 10 people, max 100) kills are reached. Ultima will appear in the Field sector after that is reached.

2. Ultimate Abilities cannot be used more than once each round.

3. Players that join in the middle of the round become neutral until the end of the round. They begin in the Respawn Room.

4. Winners of each round are determined by the most kills and least deaths. (Simple measure: Team kills-Team deaths, highest wins.)

5. People can no longer respawn after Ultima appears. They simply appear in the Sanctuary.

6. I'll tell you which boss has the Death scrolls at the beginning of each game. (You decide whether to try it and how the battle goes. Take to mind your stats and theirs during it.)

7. How Death scrolls work: If you use it as a fatal attack hits you, it reflects and doubles the damage back to the source. It also teleports you to the Respawn Room with full HP as if you died.

8. Post during a skirmish sparingly enough that other participants can participate.

9. The rewards for winning consecutively are as such:

A choice at every 3rd consecutive win between:

Another weapon for the character

Another ability for one of the character's weapons

Another spell for the character

A permanent extra 50 HP

An extra 10 base stats points

An extra 5 weapon stats points per weapon

An extra 5 ability stats points per ability for one weapon

An extra 10 legendary ability stats points for one weapon

Choosing the next round's teams

10. Neutral players are not attacked by neutral monsters, and cannot fight legendary creatures. Their purpose is to sabotage actual teams. Anyone who gets a consecutive win bonus is automatically neutral the next round.

11. Legendary abilities can only be used once per round per weapon.
