Testing Humanity (1x1) [Telios and SaphireTsuki)

[Telios]

"Hm... Nothing, really. You can show me wherever you wanted." Telas said with a warm smile.

 

[SaphireTsuki]

"Right." Another quick smile shot at him as she walked towards the halls, heading to the back of the school. "The first floor of the academy is for culture exchanges, the second for sciences, and third for history studies. Fourth floor is for testing, but rarely is it used, and fifth for religious uses."

 

[Telios]

"So we will be mostly on first, second and third floor?

 

[SaphireTsuki]

"For the most part, yes."

 

[Telios]

"Hm. So we have days off on weekends?" Telas asked, wanting to make sure.

 

[SaphireTsuki]

"On Saturday we have a half-day, and sunday is off." she used the human words for the weeks, because it made sense to her, and because she didn't want to have to explain her own just yet.

 

[Telios]

"So do you visit your family on those two days?" Telas asked, trying to hide a sad feeling with a smile.

 

[SaphireTsuki]

"I'm afraid I can't, Telas. They live on another planet, and I came here alone." It was best, however, that she did. As much as she loved them... it was just too much sometimes.

 

[Telios]

"O-Oh..." Telas looked away sadly.

 

[SaphireTsuki]

"Yeah, a bit sad, but... well, sometimes you have to do things that hurt." She shrugged, looking back at him with curious eyes, but otherwise didn't react.

 

[Telios]

"Is it ok if I tell you something...?" Telas asked sadly.

 

[SaphireTsuki]

She nodded gently, "You can tell me anything. I'm here to help."

 

[Telios]

"I have no family... I thought I could stay with yours but you said they are on another planet... I guess I'm out of luck." Telas said and finished with a sigh.

 

[SaphireTsuki]

She smiled at him, moving closer and taking his hand. "Then I'll just have to be family for you, won't I? I can be a sister, if you want..." Maybe something more, but that would depend on how their feelings developed.

 

[Telios]

Telas nodded with a smile.

 

[SaphireTsuki]

A swift hug, happiness in her eyes, "Then we'll be a family from now on, you and me. I'll even invite you to my home at some point... so you can meet the rest of us."

 

[Telios]

Telas nodded with a smile, hugging her back.

 

[SaphireTsuki]

A new member of the family... as long as they don't pressure him, it'll all work out. I'm sure. She held the hug for a few more seconds before Selena pulled back, eyes dancing with happiness. "If you have any problems at all let me know."

 

[Telios]

"Yes, Selena." Telas nodded with a smile.

 

[SaphireTsuki]

"Good. I guess... we should get back to moving now, but..." Another bright smile slight backward walking, and a smile.

 

[Telios]

"But what?" Telas asked, wondering what's wrong.

 

[SaphireTsuki]

"Well... I'm not sure how to say this, but..." Her hand reached the back of her head. "I wanted to say welcome to the family, and... well, I'm glad you agreed to it."

 

[Telios]

"Thanks Selena." Telas said with a smile.

 

[SaphireTsuki]

"You're welcome." Selena nodded, walking towards their goal again, signaling him to join her in walking with her hand.

 

[Telios]

Telas nodded and walked after Selena.
