If I ever manage to get home without passing out, I will be posting this afternoon.Ahara said:Not at all go ahead
Good question, the projectiles disappear after a fight is over and i guess you could say that they regenerate. Attack speed would mainly be the "regeneration time" so a knife juggler throwing darts would regenerate darts almost instantly while a gunman with a musket would regenerate bullets about one every two secondsEnsig said:@Ahara
Regarding Darts (and essentially any other 'ammunition' type object) once they leave the player, do they disappear once they reach their destination, disappear over time, or simply exist where they strike indefinitely?
In the case of the last two, would they need to be recovered to be used again, or does all ammunition 'regenerate' over time? In the case of the latter, how long does regeneration take?
Alright, thanks!Ahara said:Good question, the projectiles disappear after a fight is over and i guess you could say that they regenerate. skills are less gained rather learned. what i mean is that your character feels more and more comfortable with certain weapons and fighting styles and so the more they are used the more you learn skills. So a barbarian using a battleaxe for a long time might learn the whirlwind skill which lets them spin around rapidly taking out loads of targets. These skills do increase in power over time as they are used. Another example is that a thief that sneaks through a dangerous area without being spotted may eventually learn a minor invisibility skill.Ensig said:Alright, thanks!
Also, regarding Skills and Spells... How are they gained? And can they be trained (as in have their effects increased by anything other than 'actual skill' which you've said has a factor in damage/quality)?
Gotcha. I assume you'll be judging when our characters attain said skills, then (either via PM or in the RP itself as a 'system message' of sorts)?Ahara said:skills are less gained rather learned. what i mean is that your character feels more and more comfortable with certain weapons and fighting styles and so the more they are used the more you learn skills. you can look back through the character sign ups and check everyone's classes. Off the top of my head i know there is a gunman, bowwoman, knife juggler, ice mage, necromancer, and i might be wrong but possibly an earth mage. there is also an apothecary.Jailbird said:Hello! I am in the midst of creating my character and I would like to know what classes have been used, because I'm pretty sure you don't want a bunch of a single class running around.
both would be fantastic choicesJailbird said:Well, I must found a perfect picture that spoke to my soul, so I will either be a loli paladin or knight!
Ah, alright. If I do, quick question. Are classes able to use the weapons of other classes? I don't expect them to be skilled of course, but for some situational purposes. For example, a blacksmith traveling to another city, can he equip blades to defend himself? I don't expect them to be excellent enough to fight much, but proficient enough to defend themselves. Or would I have to hire a bodyguard?Ahara said:If youd like to change your class and edit your first post you may
That's why I chose mine! It's the playstyle I generally use for action-based RPs, at least as long as not too many others are following the same. Might as well mix it up a little bit though, you know?animefordaysXD said:B-but... Assassins are the best!

They can fight with any weapon (magic is only for magic proficient classes) but they will not be proficient with them. You could always hire a bodyguard but all classes are capable of combatAceOfSpades0210 said:Ah, alright. If I do, quick question. Are classes able to use the weapons of other classes? Excellent! Thanks, completely answered my question.Ahara said:They can fight with any weapon (magic is only for magic proficient classes) but they will not be proficient with them. You could always hire a bodyguard but all classes are capable of combat
When might the settings/locations tab be done? I'm curious.Ahara said:They can fight with any weapon (magic is only for magic proficient classes) but they will not be proficient with them. You could always hire a bodyguard but all classes are capable of combat
That tab will be ever changing as more locations are added. I havent really had time to work on that but I will try to get it done.LilyannaGaming said:When might the settings/locations tab be done? I'm curious.
Okay, another question?... Will the 'players' log out of the game every so often, or are we just doing in game post only?Ahara said:That tab will be ever changing as more locations are added. I havent really had time to work on that but I will try to get it done.
totally up to you. It would make sense to see some out of game rping because you are making real life money by playing the game so why not use it. Of course marionette wont be leaving the gameLilyannaGaming said:Okay, another question?... Will the 'players' log out of the game every so often, or are we just doing in game post only?
