Advice/Help Temp locks to make story comments

Is there a way to temp lock your forun so you can make a long comment without someone else interrupting?

As far as I'm aware only RPN staff have the power to lock threads. You can always ask people to not comment / reply if you really need to though.

You can lock PMs but not threads.

At best with threads you can make a private thread and remove people’s access to post temporarily.
