Pervy ass dudes tryna rub up on you in a crowd.

This time they caught squeezing girl parts. Sick to my stomach. So disgusting. Don't ever touch me, my gf my friends. Almost ruined New years. Tysm to the fellas knocking mfers tf out.

I have been on the internet since the good ol' dial-up days, and it continues to boggle my mind how people can take the simplest statements and get the worst, most over-the-top ridiculous meaning out of it.

"I don't like bananas."
"OMG so you're saying you hate bananas and the people who love them, and you want to gatekeep fruit and force people to eat only what YOU like! You're an awful, terrible person! Go play in traffic!"

It's best to not engage with these people (I do not always succeed in that) and have faith that most normal people can see how foolish folks like that are. Something about playing chess with a pigeon.
 
Probably when people chew with their mouth open or smack, the noises just make me shiver and disgust me

My mom does this and it drives me crazy. I keep trying to tell her not to chew so loud because it's annoying.
 
Is it a peeve or is it digust. Rude medical receptionists who are useless at their jobs. I honestly can not fathome how people could work in a cancer clinic and be a complete ass hole. Like, sorry you are having a crap day but um lady your working around people who are sick with breast and ovarian cancers don't be that asshole.... lord I hope you never have to experience the inconvenience of being so unwell and having someone treat you like dirt for not having a blood order. My lord, may he be gracious to those people. Swallow your pride and do your job.....

Its such a neusance when I can literally go to the chemo clinic and get my blood drawn no problem lady. It just took you making one phone call but totally thank you for flinging the wrong cell phone number at me......

I hope she loses her job. That was more of a vent but the number of those types ive run into makes it a peeve.


Docs nurses and psw are generally good. Triage and reception are often barf people

added : development in stupid receptionist I get a call about missing importand bloodwork. Oh this just leaves me feeling justified this person has or had no idea whst she is doing. Likely brushing someone off to feel superior in the moment. Some people should not work in the medical field
Im lucky I can come back the next day. It sincerely makes me worried when people like that work in important field.... Like have you turned people away with more serious and agrivated problems so you can go on break early? I just hate neglect in any healthcare system

I think my largest pet peeve is the fact that no one in my life ever accepts I have a suppressed immune system. It's been this way my entire life folks and it's just gotten really bad now.

I get so frustrated at friends I love dearly insisting I visit them when like one to three of their kids are sick. Like, why? I mean it is the worst feeling ever to look forward to a visit and not be told and then walking in on it.

Now, listen. I love children. However, they have seen me in and out of the hospital countless times over my lungs. I can't stand it when my own family does this too. It's like for instance right after I got my chemo done over christmas I get it I want to see my family. Though, I was under the impression it would just be my siblings and their partner. Though I was sprung with a visit where we ended up bringing the kids to like a trampoline park. I'm like....Are you kidding me? I didn't say anything because I didn't want to be rude but at times I was literally watching these kids for them.... I love these people dearly but how could you be so inconsiderate especially when you just watched someone else ( not me) go through the same thing with cancer. Like why? WHY? I STILL have to be able to go to work. Getting sick is freaking life threatening for me. At least warn me... At least don't like brush it off like this is nothing because it is something and I'm tired of my lungs rattling.

Just if you are a parent. Be considerate to your friends with low immune systems. No, we are not babysitters. No, we are people and human beings who wish to be visited without the danger of ending up back in a hospital already brimming with people.

When I was sick, I was between chemo rounds, and I was super eager to finally attend a family gathering cause it had been ages. It was leukemia so they actually had to specifically kill the bone marrow, thus my neutrophils and other white blood cells were bottomed out at 0 for most of treatment. The only sign of getting sick would have been a fever, and it would have been an emergency situation.

And then we get a call from my grandma. My mum and her talk for a little while, and smack in the middle of the conversation, she drops that my aunt's kids, who are coming, have MRSA.

REALLY. MRSA??

A common cold could actually end me, and you didn't think to mention that she's bringing her tiny rambunctious kids infected with a highly antibiotic resistant bacteria. What??

I'm not suicidal, so I didn't go. 😑

I got two words for you; grocery carts!

Don't you guys just hate it whenever there is a cart anywhere remotely near your car? Like when you go in there are no carts nearby, but once you leave the store you see at least one cart sitting dangerously close to your car threatening to hit it at any moment. It's especially bad if the cart did hit your car leaving a sizable dent.

Thankfully no cart has ever rolled into mine and I hope they never do. But I have seen carts near my car after I come out of the store when there were none when I first got there.

Why do people have to be so lazy by not taking two minutes out of their busy lives to push their cart away so it doesn't roll into anybody's car? I know I always push the carts into those cart bins. I just wished more people would do the same. Same as litter bugs. There are plenty of trash cans everywhere you go and yet people are too lazy to find one and instead just carelessly toss their litter in the grass. So annoying!
 
Waking up cuz of the sound of highheels clacking away on the floor.

Like k fr i do annoy my gf a lot, but NOW i finally realized something that actually and fr annoys me about her! She say cuz its that she has check her fit before she goes to the front. My gosh just take them off and put them on at the door! Like use the mirror there! Grrrrrrrr....

But half time concert was so it, legit LIT. Kendrick wow. But now the annoying part.

Erybody be like 'ooooh it's a commercial! Watch! Oooohhh I can't wait to see the next commercial!'.wtf why y'all so hype about commercials? I hate them, they a pet peeve of mine. So much so I went downstairs and played pool with all the non-fooball fans . Just annoyed me cuz seemed like a bunch were there more for commercial than the football game.
 
Ohhhh I've got one, all right: rinsing or dumping notable amounts of food into wrong side of the sink. Sometimes? I find a special little surprise in there. Like a napkin. Or citrus rinds for that rare, lovely occasion. The trash is less than six feet away. (:

We have a sink cover, but it's often removed. Just yesterday, someone watched me place it and asked why I did so. I explained its purpose, and I kid you not, they called me... silly.

Silly.

As though I cover the sink because it's the sink version of dress-up, rather than a guard against their daily dirty dish transgressions.

Needless to say, I might stage a household intervention soon. Or check for a gas leak.
 
It pisses me off that someone posted an insensitive art on my profile over a post I made about me coming down with the flu. It feels malicious how of all the things they posted something do with an irl conflict still going on.

My nose is stuffed up, but I’m getting over it well. I can’t stop shaking my head at their insensitivity though.

Unjustified rudeness. It rubs me the very wrong way. I understand people having things going on in their lives but that's no excuse. Even more when someone is helping another person and other person is downright rude.
 
Annoying default settings on streaming apps that you can't deactivate. No streamer should ever autoplay episodes/trailers, autoplay a show or movie from its trailer, or autoplay from one show or movie to another unless there is an option to toggle that shit off. The frustration is real -.-

EDIT: For anyone else who might also have an issue with this, I just looked it up, and it turns out most streaming services do, in fact, have an option to turn autoplay off. From what I can tell, this can only be accessed and adjusted if you log into your account through a web browser and poke around the settings. I have yet to test if these changes will carry over to the apps on my TV (which is where I actually watch stuff) but hey- at least there's hope!

SECOND EDIT: Aaaand we've circled all the way back 'round to peeved again. Turns out that (at least on Netflix), while disabling autoplay seems to work, it doesn't actually stop the credits from automatically minimizing at the end of things, which is 90% of the reason I was tryna stop autoplay in the first place, and there isn't a setting to stop it from doing that -.-
