Other Tell us about your pet peeves!

I hate it when 2 people at a bar/restaurant take up a big table/ picnic bench and sit next to each other and not across. Y'all ruining the implicit dividing lines between different parties!!! I don't want to feel like I'm third wheeling or on a weird double date.

1. When someone who's supposed to be walking with you chooses, for no adequately explored reason, to walk behind you.
2. When someone sprays a noxious, unbreathable cloud of perfume in a room you're in, making you choke on the smell.

This isn't a pet-peeve per-say but there's no general vent thread so I'm going to borrow this thread for a second:

Whatever changes Duolingo made to how hearts work made the app even more useless than it was before

When groups of people walk together on a narrow street, taking up the entire width, and can't be bothered to squish together for another person to pass by. They expect everyone else to move around them, stepping into the street if necessary.

Can't tell ya how many times I've felt the urge to yell "What are you, pigeons?"

Getting ignored.

Even if it’s accidental, or on purpose, it always stinks. Trying to be apart of other people’s conversation and purposefully being left out just stings. And even if it’s accidental People nowadays just stare into their phones, and it’s so hard to make conversation.

When people not only show up to work or school sick, but make themselves anything from a nuisance to an absolute menace by
-sneezing and coughing on other people
-refusing to mitigate their symptoms

Extra points to those who insist on loudly coughing &/or inhaling back their mucus every other second in an otherwise perfectly silent room, making it completely impossible to concentrate because they can't be bothered to step outside and blow their nose or get a drink of water -.-

Oh and goes without saying but these are also, of course, the people who cough or sneeze without covering their mouth x.x

Okay today is just one of those days, apparently, so double-peeve post:
When you spend extra time and go out of your way to communicate things clearly with people so that they have all the information they need and, in return, they can give you the information you need, only for them to refuse to take the time to read through your painstakingly-crafted, time-saving communications and simply respond, essentially causing all that time you spent to make things easier completely wasted -.-

People that wait until cars are coming down the busy highway to run across to the other side like they are the main character of a story or something.

Cars that follow too close.

It literally urks me to my core when at work , customer service, and customers apologize for being an inconvenience for asking a question. Yes, im busy but its my job to help you out. I just feel so bad because that means they had a negative experience. I mean a little integrity and kindness goes a long way. Not to mention it is what I and my coworkers are paid to do.

I get so fed up with people in a job they clearly disrespect. Nothing urks me more than that co worker who just so...uhhggg the words can not describe my frusteration.

Just smile and help. Your job is not hard and if customer service is difficult. Get a different job. Communicating with people and making their day easier so they come back is what your paid to do. Please dont tell another customer its not your problem

I really don't know how hard those kinds of jobs are, but just gotta say really appreciate ya trying to be thoughtful of the clients and your employers.

People in real life with Main Character Syndrome or plot armor. I just can't with these people.

Edit:
Arrogant, entitled -fill in the blank- who look down on others.

You know when you're watching a YouTube video on your phone/tablet and accidentally press the ad beneath, derailing what you were just watching, so for a second you're kind of confused on what just happened until it comes up? That's one of my pet peeves.
