"That's a wonderful name!" Aeina exclaimed, "You don't have to be scared, we won't bite." Aeina giggled and blew her bangs out of her face once more.

 

[Hatsune]

"Thanks." Hatsune said, in a monotone voice. She then proceeded to stand and seat herself in the chair directly between Zero and Aeina. She pushed her hood from her head and also blew her bangs from her face, revealing a bright, dimply smile.

 

[Lelluxis]

Zero whispered 'Hatsune' under his breath. This is the name that saved his life...


Clearing his throat, Zero quickly returned to earth, no longer thinking. "Hey do you know how long we're going to be here? I hope not long, I just need crutches or another wheelchair and I can move around." He pointed out, looking at both girls.

 

[Hatsune]

"I'm not totally sure. The doctors were talking about doing a full x-ray on you both, and then see what they can do from there." Hatsune was feeling a bit more comfortable now, and found herself a little fond of the two. She couldn't stop smirking at both of them brightly, she had already made what she had hoped were her new friends. There was a sudden buzzing sound from within Hatsune's pocket, and she quickly pulled her phone out, to reveal the word "Mom" glowing on the screen. The time read 8:35 p.m. and Hatsune knew she would be in trouble. She gulped as she slid her finger across the answer circle. "Hello?"

Zero bit his lip. "Well shit." He sighed, as his stretched his arms out. He noticed Hatsune was in the phone, and he wondered who it was. He then realized it was none of his business and shouldn't ask. Then a bunch of doctors came in saying that Zero and Aeina would have to sleep in for the night, and that Hatsune could if she wanted to. "Okay, I guess I have to just get comfortable." He sighed again, but wasn't that sad, since the doctors said Aeina and Hatsune could stay.

Aeina looked up at the doctors alarmed, she wanted to make sure the flower was okay as soon as possible. To avoid another melt down Aeina took deep breaths and counted to ten in her head. She tried to forget about the flower by staring at her shoes, they were torn up and muddy.

 

[Lelluxis]

Zero glanced at Aeina and drew his eyebrows together. "Aeina?" He asked, concern in his eyes, "what's going on? You don't look well." Zero hoped she was okay, hoped she wasn't in any pain.

Aeina looked up at Zero, "Oh, yea, I'm fine!" She exclaimed and smiled slightly. Her nervous tic kicked in and she blew her bangs out of her face.

Zero frowned. "Aeina I know you're lying. I don't know if you know this but I can read emotions pretty well." He starred at her, a concerned look on his face. Aeina looked worried and also terrified, as if something wrong had happened. "You can talk to me and Hatsune if you want. I don't want to push you but I just don't want you lying to me."

 

[thoroughfare]

"No, I'm no-," She paused and frowned, "How can you tell?" She played with the hospital bracelet they forced her to wear.

 

[Lelluxis]

"I can just read emotions well." He paused, seeing her fiddle with her bracelet. "Plus it's not hard when you're acting all nervous." Zero didn't want to push anymore, so he dropped the subject.

"I'm not nervous!" She bursted out, "My ribs just hurt?" She said it as more of a question, she knew it wasn't very convincing so she slumped over in her wheel chair.

 

[Hatsune]

Hatsune ended the phone call with her mother and shoved her phone back into her pocket with a deep sigh. "My mom's pissed, I forgot I had to bring milk home." Hatsune hugged both of her new friends gently before making her way to the door, but right before she could exit a thought occurred to her. "Shit, I left my bike at the crash scene." She cringed at the reaction she knew she'd recieve from her mother when she told her the news.

 

[thoroughfare]

"I can force an ambulance to drive you if you want." Aeina offered to Hatsune, she would happily scream at a doctor without hesitation.

 

[Lelluxis]

"Milk?" Zero smiled slightly. He found it slightly funny that Hatsune's mother was pissed at the fact that she had forgotten to bring milk home when she was actually saving lives. "It's okay, I'll tell your home that you save Aeina and I if your mom still flips out." He tried to reassure her.

 

[Hatsune]

Hatsune tapped her foot on the tiled floor nervously as she contemplated her options. She decided upon staying, and figured her friends would her explain the situation later. After a quick text to her mother Hatsune turned back towards them and ran over to the couch, taking a jumping leap onto it and landing on her back upside down. "So it's a sleepover then?" Hatsune squeaked in an excited voice.

"I guess." Aeina said slightly smiling, she was still worried about the flower, it was the only thing she had left of her mom.

[Hatsune]

Hatsune playfully grabbed at Aeina's heel from where she was leaned upside down on the couch. She then smiled up at her reassuringly. Soon after a nurse knocked on the door. Hatsune proceeded to snap her gaze from the girl beside her to the main door where the new guest was waiting.

 

[Lelluxis]

Zero smiled, "You guys are such dorks, you know that right?" He chuckled, and then heard a someone at the other side of the door. Drawing his eyebrows together, Zero tried to guess who it was...


Glancing at both Hatsune and Aeina, he whispered, "Anyone expecting guests?"

 

[thoroughfare]

Aeina raised her head to look at the door, "I'm not. Hatsune? Are you?"

 

[Hatsune]

"Nope, not that I am aware of." The nurse walked through the door as the three teens watched. She had a big bag in her hand and made her way directly to the bed.


"These were the things we were able to salvage from the wreck." The nurse set the bag on the bed and exited right after. Hatsune eyed the bag with little interest, and instead stayed upside down on the couch, with her feet dangling over the top cushions. She swayed them a little.

Aeina sprung out of the wherl chair and jopped over to the bag, she tore it open frantically looking for the flower.

 

[Hatsune]

Hatsune observed Aeina. "What'cha looking for?" The door closed behind the nurse as things flew from the bag Aeina was tearing through.
