Realistic or Modern Teenage Life Like This

Hatsune rolled up to the school on her bike clad in her usual hoodie and jean attire. She struggled to keep her hood up while balancing her backpack on her back as she sped to the school. She knew she was very late, which added to her first day jitters. She wasn't new to the school, but she was being placed in classes with completely new students seeing as she had skipped the grade her previous peers would have been placed in. Hatsune skidded her bike to a stop, taking a quick moment to lock it up to the bike rack as she rushed down the hallways of the school in search of her classroom. She sped past a blonde boy, accidentally bumping into him and nearly knocking him to the floor. "Sorry!" She squeaked over her shoulder as she ran to her class. Hatsune hadn't caught a full view of the boy's face seeing as her hood was pulled over her head and she had been running so fast. She made it with only moments before and found herself a nice seat in the back of the class. The moment she was seated she realized a piece of gum had been stuck to the seat, that she had overlooked in her haste and it was now stuck to her jeans. She sighed. "Lovely."

Zero saw the girl who waved to him get up and leave. He wondered who she was. But then again Zero never really payed any attention to anyone in this school. Who is she? He asked himself. She just left? You can just do that...? Zero bit his lip, debating whether or not he should leave.

Finally he stood up and left quietly, leaving all his stuff in the classroom. Everything except for his phone of course.

Zero followed the girl, until he saw she was headed for her car. Should I even bother talking to her? Zero stood there, until he made a decision to say hi.

He walked to the girl who sat in her car and tapped on the window.

"Hi." He said, with a crooked smile.

Aeina looked up at the boy through her window, she smiled, "Hey!" She then realized the window was up and he could probably only hear a muffled voice. She rolled the window down and giggled slightly, "Sorry about that, hey!"

Zero smiled as he saw her realize that he couldn't hear her.

"Why did you leave? Aren't you going to get in trouble?" He asked, his eyebrows drawn together in confusion.

Hatsune twittled her thumbs in the back of the room, uninterested in what was going on, and instead caught a glimpse of a few of the students in the classroom. Hatsune finally pulled her hood off, still wary of the gum now stuck on her behind as she placed her lead pencil that had been rested in her pocket, on her upper lip. The pencil lay between her lip and nose now. She often did this when she got bored, it just helped to pass the time.

Aeina shrugged, "They don't care," she sighed, "And neither do I." School was never her top priority, she always had better things to do. The teachers were so used to her leaving class they didn't even care anymore, though there was one teacher who tried to get her to stay by grabbing Aeina's arm. Long story short, the teacher was fired for abuse to children. Aeina was a good liar.

Zero nodded, biting his lip and staring at her car. "Nice car."

Zero was never good at small talk but he figured he'd make the best of it. "So where are you headed off to?" He asked, glancing at the inside of her car. It was a good looking car, he wondered what year it was.

Aeina smiled at the compliment, "Thank you!" She then shrugged, "Anywhere, wanna come?" She usually got lonely when she skipped, it would be nice to have some company.

Zero considered the offer. Well, I could either stay at school and learn and get my grades up.... or.... I can go with this girl I don't know who's name is and just go.... wherever with her. Eh, what the hell. Zero shrugged. "Why not? That class was boring anyway." He looked at the girl's eyes. They were a beautiful blue. The blue color that makes you want to go to the beach and just live in the water. Her hair matched her eyes, making a bold statement about her. But he didn't mind it that much. "Oh um... what's your name?"

"Oh yea that would help," She laughed, "It's Aeina, what's yours?" She blew her bangs out of her face and smiled at the boy.

"Zero." He said as he cleared his throat. "My name is Zero." He looked away, embarrassed slightly. His name was different, but he liked it. People did question it, thinking his parents were retarded for naming him that. And Zero hated when people questioned him. "But uh... where would you like to go...? Since we're going... anywhere." He chuckled awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck.

(( Should we wait for Hatsune's character or...?))

(( Let's have Zero and Aeina talk while we wait for her. ))

Aeina nodded, "That's a cool name. And I usually just drive around until I find a place." Aeina opened her CD drawer, "I hope you don't mind if I put in some music?" She said this as more of a question. She wanted to make sure he was okay with it.

((Sounds good to me :D ))

"I don't mind at all. I love music." Zero nodded, and closed his eyes. Music was a big influence in his life, and he always tried to listen to music whenever he was given the chance. "Mind if I get in the car?" He asked, as he went to grab the door handle. He grabbed it, but didn't open it, making sure it was okay. I mean you never know, she could have a bra there or something and would want to move it before he sat there. She drives around until she finds a place huh? I wonder how far we'll go until we find... a place.

Brooklyn cautiously entered the classroom, her jacket pulled tight around her form. She avoided eye contact as she slid into a seat close to the back of the classroom. After drawing out a pencil and her notebook, she looked up at the white board attentively.

"Oh, yea of course!" She said, she wasn't really sure if Zero would like the type of music she liked. Most of her music consisted of the band Say Anything. They helped Aeina through the hard times of her life, they helped her through so much that she ended up getting a tattoo with the title of one of their songs, 'Alive With the Glory of Love.' They had more of a punk genre, she grabbed her CD and switched to 'The Church Channel' by no other than Say Anything, she didn't put it on too loud that they couldn't talk but loud enough. At some points she would sing along but mostly at her favorite part, "They let us play with markers, but I keep trying to draw infinity!"

Zero gripped the door handle, and pulled the door open. Aeina's car was cute, but casual at the same time. Zero noticed little things that gave him an insight to her likes. For example, there was disks of a certain band. Say Anything.... hm.... never heard of it, but I'm open to new. Zero slipped into his seat. The car smelled of lotion, but it wasn't too overwhelming. Zero actually enjoyed the scent. He sat there, as he listened to the song, along with some of Aeina's voice added in. "I didn't know you could sing?" He raised his eyebrows. But then again I just met her.

Aeina blushed, she was so used to not having people in the car that she just started singing. "Oh, I don't, well I do, but I'm not good at it."

"Sure you are." Zero smiled, and he leaned back in his seat. He felt oddly comfortable in the car, which was strange because Zero hadn't felt 'comfortable' with many people this quickly in the past. Usually it took a couple of days or even weeks. Clearing his throat, Zero hummed along to the music. After a few minutes of this, he turned to Aeina and said, "so, tell me about yourself."

Aeina tensed a bit, she didn't like to talk about herself at all, "Nothing to tell, just a normal seventeen year old girl." She tried to smile but it didn't work very well.

"Pffftttttttt." Zero rolled his eyes. "There's more to you." He looked at her, and saw she was uncomfortable. "Oh uh... sorry. I didn't meant to..." He bit his lip and looked away, rubbing his neck again. He hoped he hadn't pressured her or anything.

"No! It's fine!" Aeina loosened her grip on the CD case she was still holding and sighed. She didn't have any real decoration in her car but one flower, it wasn't anything special but it held meaning. Before her younger sister was born Aeina spent a lot of time with her mother, the flower was given to Aeina by her mother and she had kept it ever since.
