Pat walked to the base of the tower, a hulking structure in the shape of a T, he felt irritation after he was told by Batman he had two choices, either join this "team" or stay in the solitary cell for a very long time. Pat believed that he wouldn't really age that much if he waited out the multiple life sentences he had, but he would probably go insane before he got out. So the team it was, sounded like some of the only people their were some alien named Starfire, a half man-half machine named cyborg Go figure he thought to himself after he heard of the guy. And some half human-galf demon named Raven. She might understand what it's like, but none can say they've been through what I have. he scowled at his own thoughts, even he was irritating himself he grabbed the back pack that contained the clothes he bought, it was odd how he got them, a mysterious transfer of funds had been delivered to a bank account he never knew he had, Probably the Bat. He was actually grateful for the opportunity Batman had given him, he was one of the only people who had treated him like a person rather than a animal being used for an experiment. The rolled up sleeves of the leather jacket felt good, he walked with a duffel bag in his left hand and his right hand holding one of the straps on the backpack. His boots made full thuds as he walked, he noticed everything he was wearing from the Jean's to the grey tank top under his jacket and the socks on his feet. He finally got to the doors, a gust of wind catching his unzipped jacket. It was nice for a spring day, breezy and in 70's. It was a big difference than the whitewashed walls and florescent lights of the lab. He took a moment to appreciate the surrounding area before pressing his thumb on the biometric scanner on the door. It slid open silently, revealing an elevator. He stepped into it and went up.
After what seemed to be an eternity of cheesey elevator music he reached the top of the tower where most of the team stayed. He stepped out and heard the door close behind him. He looked out at a living room with a semi circled couch and large flat screen. He looked to his left and right and saw that the walls were completely compromised of windows. "Killer view" he muttered under his breath, he walked over to the right of the couch and looked into the kitchen, it was nice. He thought he might actually like it here, he walked back into the living room. He did arrive fairly early, it was only 7 AM, he dropped his bags on the floor and looked down the hallways, "Anyone up yet!" he yelled and immediately was kicking himself for it, Idiot, they could be sleeping. He took in the surroundings again, marveling at the sights and inside of the tower.
