Yami appeared between Lea and Gregory.
"Look at it this way. You try to kill him, I eat your soul. It's a lose-lose on your part."

Yami shot a look at the Librarian.

"Unless of course somebody would rather not lose their new toy so soon."

@Sheaon13 @Some_Bloke @TehFanzyBillCipher
"Why not Lea?" The Librarian asked Yami "I would say he would make a good host, compared to Captain Attachment issues over there."

Lea and Rusty

Lea looked at Gregory in fear, he couldn't do this. He couldn't do this, but he had no choice. He didn't want to do this, he clenched his fists in anger. Then tears started to stream down his face, he couldn't harm a friend no matter what.

"I can't do it, I made a promise, I promised I would always be there for my friends so I can't do it. I can't hurt him, I made a promise to Roxas and Xion" Lea stated, clenching his fists. He would lose his heart now, the librarian would take it away from him. That was far worse a punishment to him then losing his hand was. Losing his heart was the worst thing you could do to him. He still couldn't do it to him, he still couldn't hurt Gregory because of the promise he made.

Gregory grinned at Yami "Thank God you actually need, me right?" He chuckled nervously "Right then, Lea...You don't wanna do this. See that promise. Right, I've made promises like that before. Just hold onto that, alright. Grab it by the bollocks."

"The promise?" The Librarian asked before approaching Lea "Ah yes. The thing about memories though..."

He tapped Lea on the head, entering his mind. He stood in Lea's mindscape, examining a literally chain constructed of memories. He shut his eyes and ran his hands across the chain until he found it. Yes, the memory of Lea making the promise. Conjuring a machete in his left hand he cut out the memory and stuffed it into his suitcase. He continued to slice into Lea's memories, cutting them out one by one whilst singing to himself in an eccentric tone.

"Tiptoe through the window

By the window, that is where I'll be

Come tiptoe through the tulips with me

Oh, tiptoe from the garden

By the garden of the willow tree

And tiptoe through the tulips with me

Knee deep in flowers we'll stray

We'll keep the showers away

And if I kiss you in the garden, in the moonlight

Will you pardon me?

And tiptoe through the tulips with me

Knee deep in flowers we'll stray

We'll keep the showers away

And if I kiss you in the garden, in the moonlight

Will you pardon me?

And tiptoe through the tulips with me."

The Librarian reached into his suitcase and pulled out new chains, replacing Lea's memories of the promise and of those he made it to with the song. If Lea was to try and search for the memories he would hear the song instead. He then turned to Yami "His loyalty lies with me now. Nothing is holding him back. This loyalty I can extend to you, if you so desire. All you have to do is let go of Mr Nelson. What do ya say?" He asked the demon, extending an arm as a means of a handshake.

"I feel like I'm forgetting something important" Lea stated, grasping his head. He searched his memories for what he was forgetting only to find a song. What was up with that? He can't remember it no matter how hard he tried. It frustrated him, but no matter, he had a job to do. Especially if he wanted to keep his heart. He didn't need any friends, he just needed his heart and if he had to go through his friends to get it he would.

"Gregory, I'm sorry about this but I can't risk losing my heart again" Lea growled, summoning his chakrams and throwing a giant fireball at Gregory.

(If you have a problem with this, let me know.)
Yami looked at the Librarian, then looked back at Gregory. Then he grinned, a sly, conniving grin. Yami reached forward, and took the Librarian's hand.

Then a portal of shadow opened up, a giagantic, emaciated arm reaching through. It snatched Yami and The Librarian up, and dragged them into the Soulscape.

The Soulcape

The giant hand flung the Libraian down like a football, slamming him into a ground made of smooth, cold obsidian.

"You know, I've had it up to here with you three." Yami said, his voice echoing from all directions, nothing visible but endless shadow.

@Some_Bloke
The Librarian started to chuckle, his voice starting to echo inside the Soulscape. He started to hum the same song he had placed in Lea's mind, increasingly getting louder and louder, causing the echo to only increase. The humming continued even as the Librarian spoke "Yami, I can traverse between multiple dimensions at once by blinking...This means nothing. It's cute, but it means nothing." He shrugged "Any harm you do me will only affect my mortal form. Something I can live without." He explained with a grin before sighing deeply "Now unless you have something else for me, I'll take my leave."

Seeing that Yami was occupied, Gregory drew his sword and took a defensive stance. He dodged the fireball by mere centimeters and swung for Lea's head "And I'm sorry too. I gotta live." He muttered bitterly

Lea managed to block the sword with one of his chakrams and swung the other one at Gregory's abdomen.

"Guys! Stop this!" Rusty shouted, he didn't want them to kill one or the other.

Yami laughed back.
"You misunderstand. This is no mere pocket dimension. It is a prison, handcrafted to keep beings like you and me in. As for hurting your body, that does not interest me. I was thinking I'd do something a bit more... permanent."

Black chains shot out of the ground, wrapping around the librarian's legs like vines.

"Devour your very essence for example."

The Librarian stood to his feet, pushing Moses to the side and conjured a chair. He sat down and continued to watch the fight "Come on Yami, just let Lea kill the fucker!" He pleaded sarcastically

Gregory darted and dodged as many fireballs as he could however one lucky shot struck him in the stomach, throwing him to the ground. However as Yami's smoke started to surround him he sighed in relief. "We can't fight him. The Librarian I mean." He explained in a frantic tone "We need to get the fook out of here!"

"Alright so that's how you want to play then I'll play!" Lea shouted as he summoned molten lava stream heading straight for gregory from the floor yet not burning it and showing Lea's mastery over anything having to do with fire.

My thoughts exactly. Yami's voice echoed.

The Smoke whirled around Gregory for a few moments, before finally vanishing. The Spear clattered to the ground. Gregory was nowhere to be seen.

The Soulscape

Gregory awoke to the endless darkness and smooth obsidian floor. He was sitting in a small black leather chair. Yami sat across from him on the other side of an obsidian table that appeared to a contiuous piece of the floor.

"Well. Welcome to my little slice of hell."

@Some_Bloke

Seeing what was happening, Moses shot the Librarian a playful wink and tackled him from behind, throwing Lea to the ground. He looked up only to see that Gregory and the smoke had vanished.

"Bugger." The Librarian muttered, standing up from his chair "Well Lea, you'll find him eventually." He turned to Moses "As for you."

"Go ahead." He spat bitterly "Kill me if you want."

"Kill you?" The Librarian scoffed "Heavens no, you're useful."

"What about me?" Akane asked

"You too." The Librarian shrugged "All of you are useful to me, hence why you're all still alive."

Soulscape

Gregory searched around frantically.

"So this is where you live?" Gregory asked with a shrug "Pretty neat if it weren't so bleak and abysmal. Your spear-thingy is kinda like a TARDIS in that regard."

Lea and Rusty

Lea nodded as the lava retreated back towards him and disappeared completely.

"What the hell were you thinking?! Gregory is your friend and you tried to kill him!" Rusty shouted.

"I don't care if he's my friend, I'll do anything to keep my heart" Lea stated, glaring at Rusty.

"Fine, whatever see if I care! I just want to find a way to get home" Rusty growled.

Soulscape

Yami frowned, looking around at the darkness, the only spot of what might be called color being the thick white mist curling around their feet.

"I'm not really sure what that means, but I'll take your word for it."

Yami snapped his fingers, and the mist below formed a goblet of dark red liquid in his hand, too thick to be wine. Yami took a slow sip before setting it on the table.

"Either way, get comfortable. We're stuck here till someone picks up The Spear."

Soulscape

"What the 'ell do you mean by that?" Gregory asked "What if it's one of them? That Librarian fooker or...Jesus H Bollocks, what did he do to Lea? He said something about memories, so I assume he went into his head and buggered them up. This guy's a great big pain in the arse...Wait, Yami can you move the spear about by itself?" He asked "I just remembered that those two Jedi and Mil have The God Killer. Syeron and Revan. We get the spear to them we can take out the Librarian!" He shouted "Or at least we'll stand less of a chance of getting kicked in the bollocks by him."

Old West, 1882

The Librarian approached the spear but only to stop in his tracks "No." He muttered to himself "That hurt. It always does." He shuddered slightly at the thought of having to destroy his mortal form again and stepped away from the spear. "Akane!" He shouted "Get over here and pick this up!"

When Akane paused for several moments The Librarian snapped his fingers, taking control of her limbs as if she were a puppet and forcing her to walk towards the spear, picking it up. Just as she approached it however a tear opened in front of her. She glanced at the Librarian, then at the spear and finally at the tear that lay in front of her.

Akane felt the urge and sprinted through the tear, only for it to shut behind her. The Librarian shrugged in response "We can find her easily."

"What did that boy do to you?" Moses asked "I get it, you need an incentive for someone else. Why not just fake his death and end this madness!?"

"I have to be sure." The Librarian shrugged "I fake his death, but what if someone else comes along and delivers him to Mirus? What if I simply lock him up instead, what if he makes a deal with something and breaks out?"
