Sayuri Tate was just an average 22 year old teacher. She went about her day to day life as normally as possible. But then her life was turned upside down and spun around when she was given the responsibility to house and tutor 17 year old Justin, one of her troubled students.

Could Miss Tate stay professional about the situation? Or would she give in to temptation?

Justin arrived into school late and he didn't care he was always so insolent some people even sometimes punish him. He sighed then got to miss Tate's Class room and tried to sneak past her into his seat in the front row because she always kept an eye on him to see if he was doing anything wrong in her class.

Her back was to the chalk bored as she wrote. Sayuri taught the English Language and Reading class. She talked as she wrote. "Word of the day today is, Hempy. Okay now who can tell me the meaning behind..." then Justin had walked in. She did of course notice. "The meaning behind he word....Hempy?" She wrote the word down and under lined it then turned back to the class, eyes on Justin as he sat in his desk. No one in the class rose their hands. "What about you, Justin? Can you tell me what this word means?"

He was about to fall asleep in her class then he was awoken from his half sleep. "Uh happy?" He asked then put his head down on his desk he never really payed attention to his classes therefore he was failing them, Including Miss Tate's. He didn't just only have her for English but homeroom too which was more boring for him.

She blinked at him. "No that is incorrect. Can anyone else tell me what it mean?" She asked, moving along with class. She wondered about Justin. She was sure that he was smart...he just wasn't involved or interactive at all. He was failing her class and from what she understood he was failing all his other classes as well. She sat behind her desk drinking on a large mug of coffee. It was getting colder out as winter neared which meant that she was all sweater. She hated the cold weather. Sayuri tapped her chin with her pin as she thought about any way to help Justin out. She was sure the principle knew about this...well maybe she should go and report it any ways...just in case.

After the bell rung in his class he sighed and stayed in her class for homeroom. After that happened he just fell asleep in her class. He hated being disturbed in his sleep but he does it all the time.

Homeroom was starting now. Students both left and entered her classroom. "I'm going to refill my cup." She informed. "I'll be right back. Ruka, you're in charge." She turned to head to the principles office. Ruka, the blonde pumped her fist. She was the class president. She went to the front of the class and began making announcements .

Justin was still asleep not even hearing the girl making the announcement. To him she was boring just like a teacher. He was confortable sleeping on the desks because he usually slept on the ground.

"All I'm saying is that he's failing and I'm concerned." She explained the the principle. "Hmmm." He said and rubbed his chin and nodded. "Alright I'll have a chat with his parents then." She bowed at him then turned and left. She stopped at the teachers break room and filled her glass with more vanilla late then headed back to her class room.

She sat down behind her desk and drank her late and read her book. She felt better now that she had brought it to the principles attention. She rested her chin in her palm, eyes peeking through her glasses at her book.

Before the end of the day the intercom came on. "This is your principle speaking." He cleared his through loudly. "Can I see Justin Yumi in my office. That is all." The intercom clicked off.

Justin woke up still in Miss Tate's room he slept the whole day and he probabily was gonna get detention or something. He sighed and arrived at the principal's office and sat down and tried to act like he did nothing "Uh yes?" He asked.

He stood up when Justin walked in. "Come in, sit down." He said and motioned to one of the two chairs infront of his desk. When Justin sat he sat as well. "Well...I was looking at your grades. You are failing each of your classes." He set down a progress report in front of him

"it's not like I have to care about school including when theres no one." He said muttering under his breath the sighed. He never liked to listen so he hoped it was nothing bad. This was a first to ever get called down to the principle for his grades.

"I looked in your folder to get you parents phone numbers, but you haven't listed any of them." He folded his hands. "I'm going to have to contact your folks." Of course he had no idea that Justin was alone.

"That won't be possible... I never had a supportive family or a family at all." He sighed and looked at the ground. His family abandoned him when he was younger so if he did he would've contacted his parents himself.

This came as a complete shock to the principle. "No family? You mean....you don't have anyone looking after you?" He asked. The reply shocked him when Justin said no. It's a miracle that the boy even showed up to school at all! "Just a moment." He held up one finger and picked up the phone to the intercom. "Miss Tate could I see you in my office." He hung up and waited. Not too long later Sayuri appeared and knocked on the closed door then walked in. "You wanted to see me.." She saw Justin and she frowned then walked in and shut the door.

"It was Miss Tate who informed me of your failing grades in the first place." He revealed her. She blushed and looked down. Damn, busted! "Miss Tate, it appears as though Justin has no one looking after him." Sayuri's green eyes widened at this and she looked back at Justin.

Justin didn't care for it and he stared at miss Tate. He never qualified her as beautiful for a teacher but now he understood why everyone said so. He just looked at her and sighed wondering what he may do to him. "So why did you call miss Tate down?" He asked stubbornly.

The principle stood, placing his fingertips on the desk top. "I must ask of you miss Tate. Could you take him in?" Sayuri gasped with wide eyes. He was asking her to take him in? Was he crazy. She was only 22! Her green eyes landed on Justin then softened and she looked slightly sad but tried to hide it away so he wouldn't think it was pity. "I-I'm not sure that that's...." She wrapped her arms around herself, pulling her sweater around her. "I mean..." She really didn't know what to say.

The principle looked back at Justin. "It would do you some good to stay with a teacher. Miss Tate you can keep him in line and get him back on track with his school work."

"Wait I'm going to stay with a Teacher why it's not like I'm gonna have to do anything." He said to him and then sighed looking at miss Tate she was even smaller than him. He looked at her and sighed. He just kept sitting and kept thinking alittle bit of whah may happen in her house.

He nodded. "It's settled. Miss Tate, starting today after school Justin will be staying with you." Sayuri blinked at him then just nodded silently. She didn't know the first thing about how to take care of another person, a guy at that. She just supposed that she would act in a professional adult manner and grab the bull by its balls. "Now that that's settled." The principle sighed and sunk back into his cushiony seat. "You're both dismissed." Sayuri turned and walked out of the office back into the hall way.

Justin sighed and left it was the end of the day so he was supposed to stay with his new as home keeper. He walked up to Miss Tate and looked at her "So since I'm supposed to be staying with you when are we gonna be leaving?" He asked her

She looked over at him with green eyes. Her Auburn hair was left down and had grown messy through out the day. "I just have to grab a few things and we can go." She walked to her class room and filled her brief case with the papers she had to grade then cleaned up a bit and grabbed her mug. On the way back she stopped and rinsed out her mug and left it in the break room like she always did. She met back up with Justin. "Are you ready to go?" she asked, not wanting him to leave without having everything he needed.

"I guess so..." He said to her holding his homework papers he got from all his teachers since he fell asleep. "Miss Tate sorry for falling asleep in class." He said to her and sighed. He was glad it was a weekend so he he wanted to relax for the whole weekend. Though he was offered a home he didn't fully understand the reason why.

Sayuri nodded. "Well seeing how our situation has changes....you may now call me Sayuri outside of class. But in class it's still Miss Tate." She tucked her hair behind her ear. Why did she feel so shy. She stood up in front of class and taught him and god knows how many others every single day. She walked them to her car. "Is there any belonging that you need to get from somewhere?" Maybe he had things stashed away like clothes that he needed to go pick up before hand. She unlocked her car.

"Nope the only thing I got is what I'm wear and holding." He said to her and sighed trying not to bring up the subject. He got into the car and sighed "I guess I do have to call you Sayuri since we are out of class." He said to her and sighed looking at the car he'd never been in one before and he was gonna be living with her for awhile

Sayuri didn't use her car often. Only when she had to go long distances. She hated public transportation. That was all he owned huh? Good thing she had some money saved up. She drove to her house. It was small, a single family home. She shut the car off and got out and went to the door and un locked it. "Here we are." She said and opened the door, going inside. To the right there was the Living room with a couch two chairs and an entertainment center with a tv and all that good stuff. To the right was the kitchen and at the back were the two bedrooms and the bathroom. She put her keys on the counter in the kitchen then put her brief case down on the floor.

"Well make yourself at home." She said and motioned around. She watched him walk into her house. "There is a second bedroom for you to take. I mainly just used it for guests." She went to the linen closet and pulled out clean sheets and a comforter then went into the second room to make up the bed.
