What happens if/when you fall out of love in this universe? Does anything happen to the tattoo? Assuming I'm accepted, it would definitely be something I'd need to know for my character (and I'd need to add a few details to my CS accordingly). & also let me know if I'm missing anything! Sorry my CS takes up so much space. And don't pay too much attention to how the sections in my introduction are misaligned. It gives me nightmares.

Thank you! So my character, Tabby, has her current boyfriend's tattoo, a bull, on her, and he has hers, a matchstick, on him. When Tabby falls out of love with him, will her bull fade or his matchstick?

While they do have their similarities (tattoos that have to do with falling in love) if you look closer it's not difficult to spot the differences. For example, Quarantine's RP states that you are born with half of a tattoo, which stays incomplete until you find your true love. While this RP states that you are born with a complete tattoo, and whenever anyone falls in love with you, your mark appears on that person.


Now in case you don't realize the difference yet. Quarantine: Love must go both ways, love must be pure, people search their lives for the other half, the half of the tattoo becomes complete once you find your soul mate. Bhlow: love can be one sided, full tattoo appears on person in love.


In addition to that, Quarantine's RP takes place in a futuristic world, where this one is simply in an alternate version of our own.


Another fun fact: you can google "soulmate AUs" and find both of these prompts on tumblr for yourself. That way you'll find that neither of these ideas are original, and they both come from a list of tumblr prompts that are open for people to use.


I certainly understand your concern about @Bhlow plagiarizing, but perhaps next time you should either do your research, read closer, or take your concerns to an admin so that they can do it for you.

I apologize if I, in any way, offended you. By the way you said "sure" it seemed as if you weren't convinced, and so I was also just trying to help. Plagiarism can be a sticky subject, but on an RP site where there are 1500 "Highschool for the Gifted" RPs, it's important to be able to differentiate between plagiarism and a similar or catchy plot that gets redone.


However, since you ended the conversation on it and do not wish to speak on the subject any longer, this is me dropping it and apologizing sincerely once more.

She would lose the bull entirely but he'd keep a faded matchstick I know it a little confusing - it would be less confusing if everyone's just faded entirely, but then again that would make it a lil boring.
