  • Appearance: Tatt is a strange collection of features. Her sharp angular lines and Hellenistic nose suggest a southern European ancestry but it is hard to tell. Her looks are blended well with short blonde hair and her skin is tanned dark. She has the appearance of a native of some Mediterranean island but any attraction is usually lost by her eyes. Normal closed, they could be called vestigial at best. Tightly shut out of habit, Tatt is completely blind. When open by chance or force, her eyes are milky white and often leak a deceptively red fluid. Not truly blood but a similar looking fluid. For all intents and purposes, nearly always looks to be crying blood.

  • Behavior: Classified as a benign, Tatt is a dangerous being to confront aggressively. Intense fear makes her panic easily and new locations throw her awareness off.


  • Super-human abilities: Adaptive Systemic Regeneration- Tatt is easily killed. Just like a normal blind 19 year old on a dangerous island filled with terrible things. What makes her particularly dangerous is she doesn't stay dead. Depending on the what killed her and how badly in shape her corpse is, eventually her body will reform with the adaptation to what killed her. A vicious mauling will result in strength to kill her mauler and a thicker skin, almost a shell. Blown up will result in a stronger cellular bond to survive the process of explosion. Each death causes a rebirth with a more specialized adaptation to survive and destroy what killed it with radical differences in her behavior and attitude. Currently on iteration 144, Tatt has developed intense situational awareness, a deadly amount of nemocysts under her skin, a digestive system capable of breaking down nearly anything and a fight or flight instinct rarely seen so quick, adaptive hearing, enhanced senses and of course, razor sharp claws.


  • Weakness/fears: Blindness. The subject is one hundred percent vision impaired and this genetic factor cannot be erased as it was the original intent to cause her to die at a much quicker rate. An inborn handicap to evolve around. As such, she is also terrified of dying. The rebuilding of her cells is not done while she is unconscious. Each death is emotionally scarring and utterly terrifying. She has felt her limbs torn off, her intestines devoured by local predators while she could feel their breath on her face, she had fallen to her death countless times, head smashed in and brain leaking out. Each death has made her more and more nervous and careful while simultaneously more and more vicious and deadly. Another fear exists in her that our empaths discovered before her disposal. The fear of losing herself. Like an Alzheimer's patient, her progress showed signs of continual degradation. If killed over and over by certain factors, it has been deemed possible that she may lose the ability to reason and flow into an evolutionary cul de sac making her little more than a beast.


  • Likes: safety, warmth, food, and someone to protect her
  • Dislikes: cliffs, her handlers, dying
  • Quirks: When killed and reborn, she has the imprinted need to kill what killed her. An obsession almost. Nothing in her life will ever provide the same chemical rush to her brain as killing what killed her does. Tatt often tilts her head to those speaking and to those she is speaking to, giving a confused appearance. She has a birthmark on her left rib cage in the shape of a spade.


  • Other: While she currently appears as human, her form can and will change as she is killed and adapts to kill her killers.

Is there any way to permanently kill her, though, or is she an unstoppable horror monster who only gets stronger everytime you defeat her, and thus has to be either Befriended or put into a very small box?
 
Stronger is very subjective term. The best way to do it is to remove higher functions through repeated deaths to get her in a feral state and then lock her in a cage. Like kill her by drowning enough till she gets gills then keep her in a desert cage with just enough water to not die. So I guess it would be exceedingly difficult to kill her permanently, there are things worse than death.


I'm thinking like a pressure chamber or suspension in acid or something like that. Or hell, just a concrete block.

The fucked up ending is submersing her in g'damn acid at the bottom of a pit
