Ender is outgoing and loves to make friends. She didn't exactly have many when she first arrived in the city given her... odd circumstances, so she's making up for it by doing what she wishes would have happened to her. If she sees people who need help or are maybe new to this place, she's definitely one to offer to show them around.

Likes to adventure, is maybe less intimidated by some parts of the city, again, due to how she first showed up (see the background below)

Loyal, would get into dangerous situations for people she's close to.

Likes: The color purple, collecting things (doesn't really matter what, just random little items she'd found out and about, that kind of thing), making the potions for her shop, taking walks around the city, meeting new people

The info in her bio about the two others getting taken by hunters can be ignored/not part of a rp if needed, I just included it as it's part of the story I plan to write with her and the rest of the OCs included in this setting.

BIOGRAPHY

She came to the city she now lives in (nicknamed the Twilight City as of now) quite strangely -- falling through a portal with no memory of how it happened or anything before her arrival.

She has some powers, namely the ability to teleport or move objects short distances, along with making portals too, though this last ability seems to have disappeared since the incident that brought her here. Any objects she moves will be surrounded in a glowing purple flame-like substance. She can fly as she has wings, but not for very long distances.

Not long after her arrival in the city, she'd met Kei, a kitsune. While he wasn't exactly planning on moving someone in with him, that's exactly what happened. She'd eventually started up the shop she runs in the space below their apartment, and while it's not the most popular, it does get a decent amount of customers. She'd met another hybrid through her shop, a catgirl named Frost, along with a human named Sora who actually had met Kei first. The four are a bit of an unlikely group, but they get along.

Sometime after this, there'd been an increase of reports of what the news and people of the city simply dubbed 'hunters' -- humans who, for some unknown reason, are going specifically after hybrids and nonhumans. No one's entirely sure why this is, as before the city had been doing perfectly fine with all species/races getting along. Sure, maybe every now and then there'd be cases of things like this, but not to the scale it was happening now.

Frost and Sora one day end up getting kidnapped by this group, and her and Kei go out on a mission to find them, and hopefully in the process figure out why this is happening and who's really behind it.

PERSONALITY

Kei, as a majority of kitsune tend to be, has a bit of a mischievous side/a tendency to trick people or play games with them. Perhaps more so because of his other nature (see background below). A bit of a flirt, uses his striking appearance to his advantage. Can often be sarcastic, maybe seems kind of rude at times but it depends on who's around him really. A fighter, both physically and otherwise.

Most kitsune have an ability known as foxfire, which is a flame they can summon at will to defend themselves, etc. His is a bright blue similar to his hair.

He also has the ability to change into the form of an actual fox (albeit with three tails like he has normally), but he doesn't often do this. if he does it has gray fur like his ears/tail in his more human form.

BIOGRAPHY
While he is a kitsune, one may notice he acts more... aggressive, violent than others of his species at times. This is because he wasn't raised amongst his own kind. He was raised by a group of demons of sorts on the outskirts of the city, and he has no idea how he got there or anything about who his real parents might be. Doesn't particularly care anyways. If he were to call someone his family, it would be that group.

However, being raised in such a setting with the kind of creatures they were, he developed a taste for blood and flesh. He doesn't need it to survive or anything, but it's just something he gets urges about now and then. He typically can control himself but sometimes he can't and will go off 'hunting' in the city like his family used to do. Acts more 'feral' in this state.

Eventually though after being with the others for so long, they sent him off and after some years of living in the city is when he met Ender. At first he didn't want to be around her, as he hadn't had any real/true friends or people to rely on in a while really. He wasn't exactly upset by this, it was just how he was. But one way or another she convinced him, or maybe he just reluctantly agreed.

Some time after this, out on a walk he ran into a human named Sora. He seemed fascinated with Kei for some reason, and Kei wasn't exactly sure why considering he was sure there were others of his kind out there roaming about. Maybe not as common as other species were, but surely he wasn't the only one. Sora started rambling about how he researched all kinds of species and such before he moved here, that nonhumans just intrigued him, always had -- and he'd never seen a kitsune before. So of course he was excited, even if maybe it wasn't exactly the most appropriate response... Kei was mostly just confused, really. He found it amusing.

Somehow that one also convinced Kei to let him tag along, and they kept meeting up to talk, etc. An unlikely friendship grew out of that. Kei still isn't sure how he feels about it.

ending up in the realm of some ancient god-thing wasn't exactly in cody's plans that night after he'd witnessed a murder. (then again, that wasn't either.) three of them, in fact. ok, he hadn't seen it happen, but he'd seen the aftermath and been stabbed himself. and what's more important, he'd caught the man who'd been terrorizing their town for weeks on end. turns out both him and the killer were whisked away by the entity -- after cody had presumably been driven to the hospital and danny had fled the scene. unfortunately for both of them, there's no escaping this place and both of them have... well, eternity to get 'acquainted.'
personality
determined, smart, hardworking. all the characteristics a job would want... though maybe it didn't matter that much when his old job had just been writing for the town's newspaper. perhaps one to get easily jealous even if he doesn't express it aloud. can definitely be petty at times.
at the very end of his time in roseville, he'd almost became obsessed with figuring out the identity of the murderer picking off people in the area. his curiosity got the better of him, and maybe he'd been too curious for his own good, as this is what had led him to his eventual end. (not death, no. worse.) this carried over to the entity's realm -- he's... eccentric is one word for it. obsessed still fits, maybe even more so now. not in the lovey sense, absolutely not. no, he wants revenge on danny. he knows it most likely isn't possible here and now, but that won't stop him from feeling this way.

cody worked at the same news place danny did in roseville, florida. of course cody doesn’t know him by that name, given he used a different one at the job. he’d always been interested in writing, and was glad when he got this job even if it wasn’t something great to most people. it wasn’t really the greatest job in general, but hey, it worked. so when this new guy came in and suddenly got hired while apparently not having much background, cody was… confused to say the least, and maybe a bit annoyed/jealous.
he ends up being a bit too curious for his own good and looks into stuff when the murders start happening. bad idea with the killer still on the loose? probably. but they wouldn’t come after him, right? (wrong.)
this, in turn, maybe makes cody end up a little bit crazy. spending all these nights trying to figure stuff out and for what? he’s not the one set to be writing anything about this for the paper, and he sure as hell isn’t a detective. but he thinks, maybe if he figures something out, it can be the next great story! get him recognition! unfortunately he’s not getting anywhere. the reports they do have, the crappy pictures and videos? the killer was in a costume of some kind even then. there’s no way to figure out who it is under there unless someone had actually caught them.
it just so happens though that the night danny kills those 3 guys at the arcade? cody was in the area. he had planned to go there with a friend, and they did, but they’d been hanging outside in the car for a bit after it’s closed — they’d been there late — and suddenly hear… noises. screaming. some sort of commotion from inside.
the friend, coward that they are, drives off without getting cody. only because cody said they should see what the hell was going on, call the cops. but the friend knew a bit about cody’s… obsession lately, and thought that if he was going to go try and ‘investigate’ they didn’t want to be a part of it and get killed. they say they’ll call the cops but they’re leaving. cody, running on adrenaline, sleep-deprivation and probably stupidity, sneaks in the back door which was for some reason still unlocked, and soon comes across the gruesome scene. three men, all very much already dead. the last one had called for help but cody hadn’t heard — he’d still been outside then.
he sees danny. no mask, because danny thought that these murders didn’t deserve to be attributed to the ghostface. he knows who it is now. cody panics, of course. out of everyone, he never would’ve guessed the killer was his own coworker. the one who always kept to himself but was hard working, the one that maybe cody was a bit jealous of even.
danny, barely thinking from what he’d just done, realizes too. he needs to kill cody too. he tries. he really does, but by that time the cops are already on their way. he can hear the sirens in the distance. he’s not getting caught now. he shoves the mask back on and flees. cody’s been stabbed but not killed, and can’t run after him. he, of course, is taken to the hospital when the cops get there. he’s not thinking straight either. he tells them what he can, but in the end? it doesn’t matter. when he wakes up in the hospital bed later in the night… it’s not the bed anymore. both him and danny were taken to the entity’s realm.
cody wants to get revenge on danny, even here. he knows he probably can’t, but he sure as hell tries. danny finds it frustrating at first that cody had somehow followed him here, but soon realizes he can actually kill him this time. sort of.

Not a character sheet, but a (really bad) map of the island from the story Blitz is from. Not really set in stone, just general locations... sort of. The whole place still needs a name the whole time I've been imagining this story the island hasn't had one. Info about the locations and just general lore below since I plan to post two other characters from it when I actually stop being lazy and finish their stuff...

If you see any similarities to existing series or anything in here, it totally wasn't intentional... ok maybe it was. This entire setting basically came about by me shoving stuff I like together and it evolved somewhat, still not entirely fleshed out but yeah.

The Districts​

  • Just different parts of the island, basically. The southern one is poorer, the main is just the "general public" so to speak but they're also not the best off all things considered, and the platinum district is where the Palace resides -- which is essentially just the richest of the rich.
  • The Palace isn't literally a palace, though there is a rather large central building that's where most people here live. There's also lots of "secret" (but not really) labs there and also other ones scattered around in places outside this district where all sorts of bad things go own, mainly human experimentation.
  • "The Ring" is what the place Blitz fights at is nicknamed. Creative, I know. Subject to change.
  • Club Cosmos is owned by another OC of mine who I'm not sure I'll list here as he's not all that "important" to the story/idk if I'm going to use him much. Just came up with him one day.

The Scrapheap + The Pit​

  • Essentially just a huge junkyard. The pit is... a giant hole in the ground sort of in the middle of all the junk, that's it. Ok that's not all it is, it leads down underground to who knows where but most people are, understandably, going to want to stay away from it. Maybe there's secrets down there, who knows.
  • Kaz's place being near here -- another OC of mine, friends with Blitz -- is intentional. He likes to go to the edges and grab random crap he can find to piece together gadgets and all sorts of stuff.

The Wastes​

  • A smaller island outside the main one that most people don't know about. Restricted for a reason, or so the Palace officials say. There's a rumor that hybrids (detailed below) didn't start off as experiments, but there's been a whole bloodline of them going back who knows how far, and that the Palace started experimenting on them when they found them, resulting in the mess the island has now. Where did they come from? Apparently, this place.



Other potentially important/helpful terms to know!​


Hybrids + Ferals​

  • Hybrids are any human who has nonhuman features/dna/etc added to them. Just what they sound like. Come in all different shapes and sizes, or species, rather.
  • Ferals are hybrids who've been changed more... irreversibly, affected more severely by the drug that turned them into hybrids to begin with -- Radia. Most of these ferals are significantly less human looking (and acting) than their counterparts. Not all, but most. Some no longer able to speak, or to only walk on their hands and knees like animals, etc.

Radia​

  • As mentioned above, this is a drug manufactured by the Palace during all their experimentation to apparently enhance human dna/behaviors/what have you and make them stronger, etc. because this is what they wanted with the whole experimenting on hybrids thing. Only the "good parts." Unfortunately with any thing like this, it can't always be controlled. Somehow it got out into the general public one way or another -- there's suspicions this was purposeful -- and some people became addicted to it.


I thiiiink that's about it. May add more here later. (If anyone sees this and thinks a RP in this setting would be cool, or wants to make a character for it, please tell me! Preferably in a message though as this is obviously where I'm going to post my own stuff : D)
