Kara woke up early in the morning with a major headache and some nausea. She yawned and looked around at her surroundings, she remembered some partying and a forest... And some "fun" with some guy... But that was about it.

Kara noticed in the room there was some empty beer cans, clothes scattered across the room, a few bongs, some other assortment of drugs hanging around on the dressers, a pink dolphin floaty and a bunch of people.

She sat up and stretched, then laying her arm back down to feel a body next to her. She glanced over to the guy, ah yes, my warlock. Kara smiles and kisses his head before hopping out of bed. Once out of bed Kara stepped over some people and grabbed her undergarments, nirvana t-shirt, her high waisted shorts and her pair of converse and quickly changed.

From there Kara went down the stairs of the house and saw a bunch more people, memories started to come back to her...

Kara went to this abandon cabin in the woods, got high and drunk, danced, made out with a bunch of people (and not just guys), slept with some random warlock, who she thinks goes to her school but she could be wrong, and now has woken up with a major headache and stomach ache.

Kara opened the front door and casually walked out of the forest into the town of Fantasia Wood Pine, her home sweet home.

It was a pretty long walk to her house... It was at the far end of town... It was like the creepy manor that no one wanted to step foot in, but she liked it, Kara liked her home.

Once at home she crept up the creaky staircase to her bedroom. Thankfully everyone is asleep so she doesn't have to have another lecture about staying out late.

Kara checked the time and rolled her eyes, only a few more hours until her first day back at school started, she probably is going to skip though, as usual.

She smelled terrible so she hopped in the shower then changed into a new outfit and then brewed up a potion she learned about how to get rid of a hangover.

Carmine sighed as he drove down the foggy road, surrounded on both sides by a forest. The black rental car he had chosen for this journey had done well for his trip here, but he had always grown nervous driving in the fog. He pressed on the gas a little more and went over the case facts in his head again.

'Alright, so there's been numerous reports of people dissapearing around this town called Fantasia. Heavily wooded, small town, gives off a weird vibe, the usual stuff. It seems that whoever goes to visit there strangely dissapears after a week. And it's always a week, too. No gaps in dissapearances. The locals seem fine, though. Pretty sure they have something to do with it.'

Carmine Indigo has been a Private Investigator for a little over three years now. He has a surprising amount of closed cases for someone his age, and that got him noticed for this case. He's handled cases like this in the past, ones where 'supernatural elements' were at hand, but they usually turned out to be superstition. Still, he had always been drawn to paranormal anomalies like this, and he naturally took the case as soon as he was able.

A bright pink sign with the words 'WELCOME TO FANTASIA!' written in bold black text stood out in the fog as he drove past. Looks like he finally made it to the town, and he began to slow down, the fog thinning as he got closer to it. He eventually made it into the small town, the fog completely gone but the sky outside still it's murky, cloudy state. He drove slowly through the town, examining the buildings as he went. He was told that most of the buildings here were shops for tourists, but they did have markets and the like, and he had even heard they had schools. He kept driving until he eventually reached a three story builing, painted top to bottom in the same pink as the welcome sign with the words 'FANTASIA INN' painted in black near it's top. He pulled into their smallish parking lot and cut the engine off, rubbing his face. It had been a long drive, and it was still only about 6:30 in the morning. He decided to check in and take a quick nap before he would get into his investigation. He opened the door, put on his trademark dark blue shades, and stepped out, closing the car door.

Samantha Alison James, the girl who found herself looking for her lost father. They were leaving their old city to a new small town just passed Michigan, but obviously plans have changed then. She hasn't seen her father for days, she was growing sick of thinking that he may be gone. She frantically kicked the car door open with her converse that were covered in mucky dirt that drenched them from the heal all the way to her ankles. Her hazel eyes scanned the scene in front of her pushing herself from out of the passenger side unbuckling the seat belt that was wrapped tight around her small body, Slumping to the ground she dug around in the car for her bag hitching it over her shoulder. She needed to find her father, It has been days since she has seen him, Did he leave her here in this town? She wouldn't know it's nearly been three whole days since he vanished, She was loosing hope that she would never find him and actually accept that fact that he was dead, Samantha felt an wrenching ache in her stomach, mostly nausea forming in her head. Her heart beat pattered roughly on the inside of her chest, It felt like fire erupted in her lungs smoking everything out when she was beginning to chase down the long strip. The town was pretty, different but still didn't change the fact that fact that her father could most likely be dead. Samantha slowed her pace coming to a halt her dark rich red hair dangled in front of her pale face beautifully, it curled from all angles. She brushed the hair back and let it be on its own, Her eyes scanning around hoping maybe someone would come by to help her which was probably ridiculous to even say considering that, most people wont believe a fifteen year old girl.

Derek waited in the darkness of her room awaiting silently for Kara to return, sitting athere a corner ofrom the room taping his fingers. He had expected her to see him when she entered her room but she just walked on into the bathroom. He groaned but remained quite until she finished. He was Kana's guardian so it was his neck in the noose if her parents found out that she stayed out late. Especially since this technically a school night. He was meant to go with her but he was perduaded to give her a chance to enjoy herself with the promise to come home at a reasonable time of twelve or one.

"Enjoy yourself?" He asked casually when she finally stepped out of the bath.

Carmine walked up the sidewalk and pulled open the Inn's door, walking inside and straight to the receptionist. The receptionist, a woman in her mid fifties with gray hair, greets him with a warm smile. Carmine greets her with a small smile of his own and step up the desk.

"Hi, I'm Carmine Indigo. I made a reservation."

The woman nodded her head as she looked on her computer. She told him his room was 404 and asked him how long he would be staying.

"Six days, no more, no less."

She nodded again and handed him the key to his room and he took it and put it in his pocket quickly. He then walked outside to his rental car and opened the trunk, pulling his suitcase out of it.

Kara finished up her shower and brewing her hangover potion. She was wearing her rock'n roll shirt with a pair of jeans and boots.

She walked with the potion in a plastic water bottle, she made it into her bedroom and turned on the light, noticing her adopted brother, Derek.

Kara rolled her eyes and crossed her arms, "Well good morning to you too." She says and sits on her bed looking at Derek, "I had a great time, thank you." She tilted her head, "You really waited for me to come home?" @ThatGuyWithSouvlaki

Neveah ran through the woods, returning home from a long night of eating. She lowed down to figure out what time it is, time seems to either fly by or go by really slow which wasn't that surprising especially because she never slept. Being a vampire has its perks, sometimes, if anything the really only good thing is that you live for decades to centuries and never age one bit. She continued walking through the woods seeing that she was getting closer to town, thankfully the sun didn't come out that much. She could tell that there were new people in town, she learned to control herself around humans.

She ran home and quietly walked in and made it to her room, she changed into a more comfortable outfit, and grabbed a book and walked down stairs and sat down and started reading. This was basically her day, unless she decided to go out.

"I am glad... " He said with a hint of sarcasm, studying Kara and seeing what he could sense about her. The outfit was standard and not really his style but he had to sdmit she wore it wore. She had been in the shower so he smelled mostly shampoo and soap, which was nice especially when mixed with her own natural smell. Though thereally was a hint of something else. "Well I couldnt sleep as the other me was acting up and once that was done yeah basically... You promised to come home early when you left. "He said in a tone that was meant to be dissapointment but may have come a cross as much like a dog waiting for his owner alone at home.

Kara watched Derek look at her closely, hopefully he didn't notice the scent of the hangover potion, Derek knows that potion pretty well since she's always drunk.

"Well I couldnt sleep as the other me was acting up and once that was done yeah basically... You promised to come home early when you left." Derek said, sounding like a dog waiting for his owner to arrive.

"Oh don't be so sad," She said with a giggle and pat his head as if he were a little puppy, "I know you missed me."

Michael turned down the road of nicely groomed houses and glanced at his sister. She had a look of distaste on her face looking at the old fashioned but posh neighborhood. "Come on Runa, It's not that bad... You know Uncle Mortimer had money since he kept sending us those checks every month. This fancy neighborhood shouldn't be that much of a surprise..."

She gave him a frown slouching in her seat and pouting.

Michael sighed. They had seen a picture of the place from the lawyer and it was just well kept enough to not catch his sisters interest. She had been hoping he would decide to sell it but with the good neighborhood, amazing school, and no mortgage he really couldn't refuse such a place for him and his sister. Plus it was a small town, Michael had never liked the hustle and bustle of the city. He wanted a simple small town existance where his sister would be safe, someplace where he could keep a better eye on her and she would have more difficulty getting into trouble.

"I don't understand why we couldn't stay in the appartment. There was a murder there in 1983 and another one in 1993 and it had a cool vibe! Like the spirits still lingered.... You know there are scientific studies that actual scientists have done to prove the existence of spirits, not just those crackpot shows on television. Plus the neighbor sold pot!" Runa had one of the most innocent smiles on her face as she said all of that.

"I still don't know how you convinced me to live there..." Okay lie. He did know, all Runa has to do is give him that childish exciment look and she has him sold on anything. "But we were gonna move when the lease was up anyways, you scared the landlord remember?"

"Oh yeah. I don't understand what had him so frightened, it wasn't as if I expeced the voodoo to work on him anyways. I told him straight out it was a crackpot website that claimed by taking your victims chest hair the spell would work more effectively... at least he could have let me take his chest hair..."

"Runa. I wouldn't let you take my chest hair. What made you think he would let you take his?"

"He seemed nicer than you."

"And your scale of niceness is...? ... Runa?" Michael was expecting a ramble about how there isn't a scale there is a scientific system but she was silent. And she usually didn't glaze over on him so he glanced over quickly to see what she was looking at... Her eyes were alight and an awestruck smile was spread across her face. He paled as he realized they should be at the house and he turned to look...

"Oh... wonderful..." (House #3)

The place was much more rundown than the picture, with a sagging roof and broken windows. There was overgrown vegetation and ivy that climbed the wa lls... It looked as if their uncle had died years ago rather than just two months ago. Michael now understood why the lawyer was happy they decided to take the house instead of sell it... this place would be nearly impossible to sell...

Draven Lee

"The Child of Beautiful Shadows"

Draven begrudgingly woke up from his deep slumber, his dark long bangs sticking out all over the place. Grey eyes scanned the small cave as the male sluggishly got out of bed, a white blanket draped around his nude body. He felt the cool ground against the bottom of his feet as he strode across from the bedroom to the vast open space of his candle-lit dungeon. With sharp hearing, Draven turned his head towards the single entrance of his hidden cave, watching the water splash against the cave walls as a goblin rowed a small boat on the river. "Hey Draven, I've got your breakfast, like always." The tiny creature said in a croaky voice as the goblin threw the bloodied bag across the chilling waters. Draven nodded in appreciation as the goblin turned its boat back around to exit. His hands with sharp fingernails clawed open the bags, the contents within making the gumiho crinkle his nose. He had politely asked the goblin for fresh hearts, not ones from the cemeteries. After all, he had fed the spirits the best hearts he could find, so why couldn't they feed him well for once? Draven reluctantly bit into a chunk of a large heart, tasting the bitter yet sweet taste of metallic blood. He let out a satisfied sigh as he savagely finished the rest of the hearts in the paper bag, his mouth covered in dark blood. Draven bent down by the water's edge to wash his face, feeling a chill run down his spine from the cold water. A sliver of light from the world above made his eyes squint, his chin lifting up towards the crack in the ceiling. Draven slightly growled from the bright sunshine and crept back into the shadows, a hand reaching up to run through his messy hair. He had always hated the brightness of day, but the spirits had told him that they needed more hearts to store in their refrigerator. Today would be the first day that he would go on a supply run in the city during daylight. Draven freshened up and shrugged on a pair of black pants and a leather jacket. He threw the blanket back on the bed as he slung a small duffel-like bag on his shoulder. Draven proceeded to exit the shadows of his cave by taking his boat out on the river and through a hallway of unlit chandeliers, slicing the oar swiftly into the dark waters. After parking his boat on the dock, he made his way up a steep ascent of stairs, the bright rays of sunshine welcoming him back to the surface of the Earth. His eyes slowly and painfully adjusted to the daylight as he finally exited his cave. Draven took in a deep breath as he inhaled the scent of larkspurs that engulfed the entire field in the middle of the forest. He couldn't help but silently stand there in the meadow of purple flowers, the smell of steamy summer calming his tightly strung nerves. Realizing that he was wasting time, Draven shook his head and started jogging out of the forest, taking a shortcut out of the woods to a empty parking lot. He halted to a complete stop and heard a few individuals nearby, frowning a bit to himself. A group of spirits stopped talking with each other to turn their attention towards the gumiho, letting out a frightful scream before frantically running away. Draven never said a word as he walked across the parking lot that led towards the bustling city of New York, deciding that he would take his frustrations out on a few humans today.

Markus walked down the street looking for anyone to talk too. He walked with this sense of os attitude, but like he didn't care. He seemed in trance like state, but he was still aware that he needed to do something just not what.

Carmine walked back into the hotel and went inside the elevator, riding it up to his floor and stepping off, heading into the brightly colored hallway. He found room 404 and opened the door, stepping inside and closing the door behind him. It was surprisingly roomy for what the size of the inn was, with a very large bed, a flat screen television, a desk, a window, a couple of comfy looking chairs, and a bathroom. He set his suitcase on the bed and opened it up, taking out the laptop from inside. He set it on the desk and pulled a chair up, heading onto the internet. He looked at the website about the town again and sighed. There wasn't really alot of places to search and ask about in this town for rumors and the like, but if he did want some rumors, the usual best places to go were bars and high schools. He nodded to himself before closing the laptop and heading back out the door. He rode the elevator back down and went outside without a word. He took a deep breath of the cold outside air and began his walk to the high school, deciding not to take his car to not draw too much attention.

Neveah quickly drew bored of reading, she got up and went outside. She made her way to town, her bright red eyes scanning the streets. She hated being out during the day, at least the sun wasn't out but still. She walked through town noticing new humans and tried her best to control her thirst.

Carmine stuck his hands in his pockets as he walked, keeping an eye at everyone that walked past him. For all he knew, that person could be the reason people were dissapearing. He looked down at his smartphone and took another glance at the map he had on it. If he walked a couple more blocks, then he should run into the high school campus shortly. By now it was seven in the morning, so not many kids would be there. It would give him a chance to get in without being noticed. But as he thought to himself, he felt a cold presence pass by him. He stopped walking and looked at the person who just passed by him; a woman, dressed in all black attire, and she seemed to be looking around nervously. Carmine thought of stopping her, but shook his head. It was probably just how cold the day was and he had gotten a chill.

Hidden

Hidden gave an exhausted yawn as he drove. The town he was heading towards was farther than he thought it had been, now getting the sneaking suspicion that he had taken a wrong turn. Cursing under his breath as he now realized how lost he was and checked his tank, of course just about empty. "Let me guess, no service huh..." he muttered, not even bothering to check his phone. He was about to pull over and try and see if he could figure out where the hell he was before noticing an odd fog. Frowning, he slowed a bit, no one on this vacant road would mind anyway. Creeping up to the seemingly thick barrier of mist, Hidden peered through his windshield, trying to pick out anything that lay beyond the obstruction. But the weight of the fallen clouds was just a bit too much, not giving the slightest hint of what could lay past it.

Giving a hefty sigh, and not wanting to get stranded on the way back due to lack of gasoline, the young man slowly followed the road. Resisting the urge to turn on his headlights because he was sure the fog would send the glare right back at him. After few minutes of careful driving, Hidden noticed something. A large pink sign, that stood a bit out of place in the depressing grey, with bold black text reading 'WELCOME TO FANTASIA!'. Now growing extremely wary of what he was getting himself into, he continued to drive ahead.

Relief swamped him as he broke the fog, the town now seeming quite normal for its odd shroud. Looking around and finding a place labeled ‘Fantasia Inn’. Pulling his car into the all but empty lot, Hidden stepped out into the morning sun. Despite the sun or sky not being visible, and the whole place giving off a strange feeling, he was happy to finally get out and stretch. Walking inside, he approached the desk, asking. “
Uh, hello...I was wondering if you have anything available?” the receptionist rolled her eyes, before clicking a few time, typing a couple more then replying that they had one room open. “Oh that's quite convenient actually…” Pulling out his wallet and removing his credit card, he then continued “Could you charge a...week’s stay onto this please?” at the mention of a week, a bizarre look crept onto her face as she took his form of payment.

Fingering the key, he quickly found room 405. Opening the door and shutting it, Hidden walked over to the bed and collapsed face first onto the soft surface. All he wanted right now, was sleep.

Carmine continued on his walk, and as the map showed, he eventually found Fantasia High only a couple blocks more. He quickly made his way to it, walking over the neatly trimmed grass and tried the front doors first. They didn't budge as he gave them a couple solid tugs. Odd for a school to keep itself locked when school starts soon, and Carmine made a note of that. He circled around the school and found another door, which he presumed was a back entrance and exit. He gave it a tug as well, and found that it was also locked. He sighed as he stepped back and considered his options; break into the school now, or wait till later and search somewhere else. He decided on the latter and began making his way back to Fantasia's Main Street. While it was still early in the morning, he figured he could pick up some rumors from the local bar. He stuck his hands deeper into his pockets as he walked back the way he came.

Derek looked a little red at the "missed me" comment. It was true he did but it lost him all sense of credibility and authority, and considering his sister he had little begin with. "That... That is not the point... I am responsible for you, you might just get a telling of but I get teared a new one. What is worse you smell of hangover and sex... If the caught you before you showed.... I had half a mind to crash the party myself keep an eye on you but no thought to let you have your fun you will be back in time."He rented raising his voice but trying to keep it low enough to be heard.

Kara rolled her eyes, thank god he didn't crash the party, that would of ruined the whole party for her.

She crossed her arms, listening to his rant and raising his voice, "Seriously, calm down, I'm still alive, right?"

Carmine continued his walk through the strangely quiet town and eventually reached a one story building with the same black text as the Inn at the top that said "Karen's". A neon side on one of their windows displayed the word "BAR" in bright blue letters. Carmine pushed open the front door and walked inside, a little bell jangling as he did so. The bar was rather empty, with only a few people at the tables having a small drink and watching the tv's on the wall. He walked in an took a seat at the bar. He was just old enough to drink, and while he didn't really like to, he'd do it once in a while. He looked to the bartender, a woman with long blond hair and blue eyes who looked to be in her thirties, and asked for a small glass of whiskey. She nodded and began pulling glasses out from below the bar and began pouring.

Riley's eyes were full of sleepies and her hair almost the exact replica of a rat's nest. She sat up without a word or thought to herself and tip-toed into the bathroom. No one else was in the house, so tip-toeing seemed useless but the floor was cold and she had no slippers for warmth. She combed her hair, curled it, brushed her teeth, and finished her makeup before throwing on a cozy red sweater with leggings and brown tall boots. Today.. will be just another day. The same as every other day. Riley fluffed her doo one more time before grabbing her purse and running down the stairs. The only thing that excited her more than the blankets of night were the alcoholic drinks at the bar. She had a routine: wake up, get dressed, go drink, class(optional), and the rest was whatever she decided to do for the rest of her day. When she opened the door, a cold rush of air hit her in the face, making her eyes shut closed. Riley Anne never was bothered by cold weather, though.

She opened the door to the bar and walked in. Her eyes were glued to the drinks behind the counter; her safe haven. "Is this seat taken?" She looks at Carmine who wasn't seated yet, and before he could answer she sat in the seat next to him. The blonde dug around in her purse for a few seconds before pulling out a fake ID and ordering her drink.

Carmine raised an eyebrow as the girl sat down next to him. Now, he wasn't the type of old fart kind of guy to ruin someone's good time, but you should probably do that when it's legal, which is definitely not how old this girl was. He's seen his fair share of fake id's in his time, and he was sure what she just pulled was one of them. As the bartender handed him his small glass of whiskey and walked away to start on the girls, he leaned over and whispered to her.

"Aren't you a little young to be drinking?

Samantha stood still parking herself against a cold brick wall, part of a small business building. She leaned down to take a deep excellerated breath perking her head to view the road up ahead, where could he have gone? He couldn't have just disappeared she thought silently pushing herself from off the wall walking down the rough pavement staring all around with her big beautiful eyes. She didn't know where she was heading, that's what she usually does wander around until she finds herself somewhere she has never laid her eyes on before. If her father was truly gonna come back he would come and get her. It looks like that wouldn't be happening anytime soon, so I guess freedom. Samantha crossed over to the other side of the street leading herself into the towns park. She crept over to the big swings that swayed side to side in the slight breeze. She slumped down on one handling the chains tightly swinging gently back and forth not wanting to go to high, this little place reminded her when she was younger and used to come to the park and play on the swings with her friends, things have changed she is no longer going back to her old town. Her dark red curls flowed down in front of her pale face making her eyes light up especially in the time of day where sat, or the position she sat in all makes a difference.

Riley smiles as the lady begins making hers. Just when the man next to her asked the question, she froze. Her heart started beating a little faster than it should but she decided to keep playing along. Her eyes met his and she smiled with a slight blush of the cheeks, "Well, that's really sweet of you to say, but no. I'm definitely old enough to be drinking a Blue Lagoon or else I wouldn't be here, obviously." When the lady sets her drink down, Riley grabs it and begins to drink. Her two fingers holding the straw while to other hand rested on the glass' bottom. "And honestly if I was a bit younger I'd be appreciative for some slack being cut."

"Man I told you to bring it by this morning. What do you do? You show up without it and expect me to push it past me? You've been late with my packages for the past month." Jeremy's eyes turn red while facing the man, his hands rise up in a choking motion as if he were going to do it to him. "God, you drive me insane!" He drops his head down and begins to rub at the bridge of his nose. "Get, go. Just go before I really do some damage here." He looks back up to get satisfaction from the guy running away in fear. In the corner of his eye, Jeremy noticed a red headed girl swinging. He could hear the screeching of the metal from over to where he was standing. The first thought was to go and tell her to knock it off, to stop swinging on a swing set that obviously needed some WD-40, but then he softened up and relaxed.

"Hey." Jeremy now stands in front of her and holds out his hand, "I'm Jeremy."
