Fantasy Tamriel: The Great War

Bar-Shei damn near aimed his body to absorb the blow, I'd say it's fair to just let the hit sink without the DM wasting time on rolling whether or not it hit.

You are more than welcome to accept a hit. It's your move after all, and if you don't attempt to dodge it, likelihood the shot would land.

@Taure Tavari hey buddy! Great character sheet.

I'm not accepting any players at the minute, as we have a rotation mechanic set in place for the current chapter.

That being said, no everyone is likely to survive this chapter, or wish to continue into the next.

I have a handful of other characters ready to enter at the drop of a hat, and I'd be happy to add you to that roster.

Does that sound alright? It will just be a case of myself or the DM getting in touch with you in order to confirm your entrance and posting position in the game.

@JR McCormick -- That's absolutely fine. Thank you. If a space does open up, could you please send me a PM; I'm afraid the notifications system isn't quite perfected yet.

Again, thanks.

@Taure Tavari absolutely! There'll be spaces soon enough I reckon.

This is my first RP and I'm trying to use a few old D&D mechanics of my choosing so getting the flow of play is what I'm attempting right now. Once me and the DM can handle more players/locations, I'll be happy to open this up a bit.

@JR McCormick -- Yes, I've noticed the similarities between the RP and D&D. I think it's a decent approach to take, especially for your first RP. I can imagine it certainly helps keep the story contained, and the RPers in check. My most recent "A Waltz of the Illustrious", on the Tamriel Foundry website, is slowly beginning to descend into chaos. It was my first attempt at creating an RP with a vast amount of freedom of choice and action. It was fantastic in the early stages, but the past month there have been a couple or RPers just wanting to do silly things to spice up their character's personal interactions and story, and diverting from the main task.

PS - In the case that space does open up soon, I have just changed one of my skills. Illusion has been replaced by Speech, to suit the character better.

@Naps Is up.

@Mousie As you're referring to what's happening outside, I should point out that you are welcome to leave the tavern and investigate, or remain with the party. Or tell them. It is entirely up to your character, but as you are the only one with any sense of awareness to magical energies happening elsewhere, whatever you choose to do will impact on the rest of the party.

Choose wisely ;)

And done, I did my best while rushing a bit since I was late. Hopefully there aren't any major oversights on my part.

Oh should've specified. Brahiel drew it on his own back so that Fenrir could see it. Hoping that he'd get that he meant the couple was dangerous.

Bar-Shei flopped backwards, landing on his ass and adjusting his tail so that he may comfortably shit down on the cool tavern floor.
this typo makes me happy... if it is a typo, that is ( ;) )

Oh boy my phone is rediculous and by that I mean- what typo? :D

Being the Skyrim junkie that I am, I am hugely interested. Not so sure I can find my way through the D&D-ish system, though, but I'll learn. Care to give me a heads up once chapter 2 rolls around? :D

Random question to my band of adventurers!

What time zone do you guys work on?

I notice things are most active around a certain time each night, and I just want to get an idea of when the majority of you guys actually see my posts :)

Personally I'm on Ireland time, so right now it's 22:45 where I am.
