If there was any room left, what sort of character would you have in mind?
 
I was thinking a ranger-type, actually. A bosmer. If we're going by D&D, a ranger anyway. Elder Scrolls-wise a dual-wielder/archer would probably be the closest approximation.
 
My rogue character is actually more of a ranger himself, with regards to duel wielding and archery. Though I guess it would be possible to make room for one more character. Who knows how many will last the first chapter! :)


If you were dead set on a ranger type, it might be an idea to steer well clear of the thief angle. I've got two ties in there already that I've got to work with. Tell you what. Draw up a character sheet and I'll have a look at it. Once everyone else gets their opening post in, I'll absolutely see about trying to make sure there's room for you :)


I'd hate to leave anyone behind who actually wants to get involved with this.
 
Nah, I was thinking a more classic ranger. Tracking, hunting, living off the land, practical skills like fishing and field medicine, affinity with animals, etc. She'd be much more of a robust fighter than a thief type. I'll draw up a sheet for you to look at asap. It's actually past 1 am where I am so I dunno if I'll have the stamina to get to it tonight.

Well I feel bad now... I just touched on my character's occupation as a hunter in my intro post. My character has a lot of similarities with yours...

Well it's no bad thing!


Mech, take a look at what Naps has going on and see if you can differ up your CS a bit. The more variation we have the better. That's not to say I don't like or want the character involved, but too many chefs can spoil the broth.


I'll likely be focusing on duel wielding with my character rather than archery now. Though you could always have a Bosmer affiliated with the Companions, or Fighters Guild. Or maybe a genuine farmer/fisher/hunter.


Who knows.

Looking through now I see multiple interests in mages methinks - do you still need one, or have you managed to get one together now?
 
Hey folks, a few requests before we get stuck in with the next DM post.


Can I get character sheets from @mechanimated and @Mousie ?


If possible can I get some vague pictures atop @nevermore0714 and @Anaxial 's character sheets/ongoing posts?


It's just something that seems to have been put in place and I'd be lying if I said I didn't like it lol. It doesn't have to be picture perfect (mine isn't) but it adds a little class to the thread.


Once everyone else has put their introduction post up, I'm gonna be putting together a little rundown of the characters we have, and their vague posting order :)


Just want to say a massive thanks to everyone for getting involved in this, as its my first RP. If anyone dies along the way... don't worry about it. There'll be more chapters as we go.


And if anyone feels like this is getting to coordinated or complicated, there will be no hard feelings if they wish to bow out. I would just ask that they send me a private message so I can arrange either their death or retreat. It's more interesting for everyone else if they have no idea what's coming :)

@Anaxial Loved the post, feeling really sorry for your Argonian, the cold is killer in skyrim. But few questions, pretty sure Ulfric is the jarl of Windhelm and he's from there not Winterhold. Also is Bjorn an npc of yours? Sorry for the questions just trying to understand things.
 
An argonian imperial.. basically the bane of Drawald's existence haha

I should make it clear that although you're expected to work together. I won't stop anyone from airing their grievances. Physical or otherwise.


I don't expect everyone to just get along immediately.


These people are strangers after all.
 
I hope they kill her after she brings @Brinie the mead and pays for the venison I brought, otherwise things may get ugly.
