I'm not sure if I'm up to the task but I'll try. Funny thing, I just made a Skyrim interest check in fandoms because I didn't see any active threads for this kind of roleplay. I was going for a more lighthearted version but still I'd love to try this out. I read everything from the overview so I think I'm good. If there's anything else you'd recommend lore wise I'll get to reading.

That's great guys. Glad to hear it.


I haven't seen any actual decent attempts at an Elder Scrolls thread, so I thought I'd give it a go myself. Simple enough timeline, with room for a story. After the Oblivion Crisis and a few years before Skyrim.


Hopefully I'll be able to get a few more bites this afternoon, and I can decide whether I want to DM the entire thing (constantly trying to kill you lot) or get in there with ya'll, and let the story tell itself.


Would you both be comfortable enough working on a CS with the information I've supplied?


If you have any questions with regards to Religions, Affiliations, etc, don't be afraid to hit me up.

Got asked a relative question that I should probably make a little clearer.


Initially you get to choose 5 skills, and as you 'level up' you'll be granted the opportunity to pick more.


With regards to affiliations, you can obviously have more than one. So long as they are realistic.


For example, you couldn't be a member of the Thalmor and the Imperials, nor the Alik'r. You couldn't be Silver Hand and Skaal. But you could be Valkihar and Dark Brotherhood.


If you'd like, I could post a bit more of a useful description for each of the factions?

CS's are looking lovely folks! I'll be getting my own up this evening.


Dungeon Master is going to be running the scenarios and enemy posts throughout this story. So it's going to help with direction, interaction etc.


As much as I want everyone to be able to speak to each other IC, I also want them to be able to interact with their surroundings.


For example, if you ask a tavern dweller for some information, Dungeon Master will take into account your character, their skills, perks, etc. and determine what sort of answer you get.

If you are able to make separate posts for each character (titling each post with the name of whomever it involves) that would help the Dungeon Master massively.


Are your character sheets finalized? I wasn't sure if they were or not, so I haven't read over them yet.

I really like the Gander characters (I take it they're married?) though I have a bit of a compromise to offer.


Would you be willing to lose the Dunmer character and keep the married couple which you'd be able to post for at the same time? I like the idea of you being in control of two people who work together but I'm just not feeling the Dunmer. There's already two connections to the Thieve's Guild and it might be a bit messy having another.


I'd love for you to focus on the Gander's if you'd be willing to do that? They both fit perfectly into what I have imagined.


If all goes well, I'd maybe consider allowing Daeron to make an appearance later on, but with this being a rather detailed story, I want absolute focus on characters.
