The morning sun glistened in from the window to Lucas's right, the rays fell right along his eye brow. Blinking his icy pools of blue open he snarled under his breath, raising a hand to shield his eyes. Today was going to be a long day, Vincent the Alpha to Blackwood Pack and also Lucas' father had called a meeting with the Silverwood pack. Lucas didn't mind the others, however he was always sure to be on high alert. The packs had been at peace for almost 60 years, Lucas' grandfather was the one who helped make peace all those years ago. At first many of the pack members on both sides were skeptical but when they had their first pair make the connection, one from each pack that they knew they had to end the fighting.

Growling lazily, Lucas pulled himself from the warm comfort of his bed and up onto his feet. Staggering to the closet he pulled out a pair of lightwash jeans with dirt, grass and light oil stains on them, they even had small rips in the knee's. Next he found a simple long sleeve black shirt that was form fitting but not TO tight. Sliding on some socks he headed downstairs where he could smell pancakes, Mrs. Loyd was an Omega who happily served the Alpha home. Lucas grew up with her and she was almost like a grandmother to him. As he stepped towards his door he had to pass by the full body mirror on his wall an he grimaced at the sight of his blond locks all tangled and mending together like a nest. Stepping out into the main hallway he had the bathroom across the hall and the stairs to take him downstairs to his right, to his left at the very end of the hallway was his fathers room. Heading into the bathroom he brushed out his awful looking hair and brushed his teeth. The pancakes were really getting to his stomach, glancing down he say his pendant sitting on the back of the sink. A simple silver chain with a howling wolf head on it, the Alpha's and Alpha's to be are granted the pendant once they shift into their wolf form.

Coming down the flight of stairs he was just clasping the pendant around his neck when short Mrs. Loyd came bustling from the kitchen, plates and syrup in her hands, Lucas couldn't help but chuckle as she only stood about 5'2 and had short puffy silver hair. As she went to brush past him he held out a hand an took the syrup from her "Let me help you Mrs. Loyd" he grinned at her as she set the plates on the table, turning to give him a pointed finger with a small smile "No young man this is the one thing I am good at, now sit down and eat before your belly growls any louder for the neighbor's to hear" She called out as she went back through the kitchen door. With a shake of his head, Lucas sat down and began stuffing his stomach full.

Before long he was headed out the door, the Alpha house nestled against a large oak tree at the top of a gradual hill to over look the rest of the pack subdivision. All of their homes were classic log home styles, all varying from 1 to 2 floors. It was may, almost the end of the school year for some of the younger pups, it also meant graduation for some aswell. Blackwood's always did like a good party and they threw big celebrations for graduates. They say once you are 18 and you shift that your world shifts too and that you will find your mate that you are destined to be with, some elders even go as far ad to call them your soulmate but that never happened for Lucas and he had just turned 21, maybe she just wasn't out there?

Snapping back to reality as a Dark black wolf with light colored accents decended from the tree line to his left. Vincent stood tall, his Alpha Aroma did get stronger on the nostrils once you hit 18 aswell. Lucas looked to his father who chuffed lightly "We have meetings to attend to" Vincent had a stone cold tone to his voice, a slight huskiness to it aswell. Stepping down off the porch, Lucas too shifted into his wolf. It was time for Blackwood to make its way to Silverwood for a day.

Vincent and Lucas prowled the subdivision dirt roads, calling out to its members to get ready to transport. The only members not joining were pups and Omega's. The rest of the pack and its members would go, while the high ranks discussed business, the others could visit their neighboring pack. It helped to keep the peace or so Vincent thought. A few warriors would stay behind to keep Blackwood territory safe.

Once everyone who was joining the trip south arrived it was time for them to begin their journey, Vincent let out a soft howl before everyone started taking off into the tree's. Lucas sprang into motion as the tail end of the group was heading out. Lucas liked to keep himself at the back of the group, to ensure safety from the front and rear end of the group. This was it, another trip down to Silverwood. Maybe today would be different.

Tapeesa
Healer/blackwood
Interaction: none
outfit: X

Tapeesa laid on her hammock inside her home letting the breeze travel from outside thru her open doors and windows. During the snowy months she had the odd habit of falling asleep outside. Usually one would have to go fetch her and bring her in. But it was May now, the warmer weather which usually was a call for those to go outside, made her retreat indoors. The calls of her alpha made her smile but she did not open her eyes. Her leg dangled down from the hammock and using her height to her advantage she used her foot to rock herself back and forth. Esa was not disobedient, she listened just in her own way. The pack new she beated to the sound of her own drum, but she was always there when they needed her. Some of the teens would joke to the pups that if you said her name three times in a row she would appear behind you. Obviously this was just a story, but she was known for appearing and disappearing. If you left your door unlock chances are she would wander in for a visit or do hand out 'gifts' before wandering off again. She could hear the pack making its move, she would show up to the meeting...maybe. For now she laughed to herself thinking what the birds were chirping about.

Eric
Lead warrior to be/blackwood
interaction: The pack traveling south
outfit: black sweats and grey shirt

Eric paced back and forth on the trail, waiting impatiently for the the pack to go on the move. He would never admit it but he was excited to join up with some pals at silverwood. He owed someone a beat down, and also wanted to take a go at the silverwoods warrior leader. He swore every season that he would best him, and every season he lost. This time it was going to be different, this time he would win. He had a new strength to him now that he was 18, and was more than eager to test it out. He was already getting on his mother's nerves with all the sparing with his younger cousin. When the Alpha and his son came into view he shifted into his wolf form giving a nod to Vincent. He didn’t give a greeting to Lucas, just walked past him with a side eye before looking up at the skyline. His wolf form was impressive, and he was almost as big as Lucas...almost. When the pack was on the move Eric took his place in the center. Obviously with other wolves running beside him his competitive spirit grew. He started a little race with two other wolves, all now competing for there spot behind the alpha and beta. Anytime Eric was included in a group, a healthy amount of chaos was to be expected. It had its benefits, as mean spirited as Eric could be sometimes he did indirectly encourage others to better themselves. He also was the most fun during celebrations. On the flip side it was hard enough to grab the attention of rowdy boys, Eric didn't help. Soon the little race took an aggressive turn as Eric snapped at the foot of the other wolf which then made him do the same in return. The female wolf warrior running to the right of Eric also got her fair share of attention. Eric snarled at her which made her growl back. Soon the friendly little race turned into a quarl of snapping growling and running. Typical for warriors, but there was a time and place. The trio slowed down, now towards the rear of the pack. Eric was taking pleasure in riling them up. If he continued things would quickly turn south as they would probably stop running all together to 'hash out’ there differences.

Kina
Rouge/silverwood territory
Interaction: none
Outfit: just a skirt made from animal hide

Kina watched the sunrise by a small stream where she had taken a drink. Her mouth was blood stained from the small kill she had just made. How long has she been a wolf now? Two, three weeks at most. It felt more natural to her. She was a far away from home, enjoying the warmth that came with it. Kina was trespassing along the outskirts of the Silverwood pack. She never made any interaction with another werewolf, none that matter anyway. They knew she was there, usually it was just in passing. She would not be a new face, to either the north or south pack, but they had made it very clear they did not like uninvited guest. It did not matter to Kina, she already had her family. She was an orphan yes, who knows where she got her werewolf blood from. Yet in traditional inuit tribes there were no orphans everyone was family. She did not know much about the outside world. All her modern day knowledge came from her tribe, and even they were reclusive. She has told herself before that she doesn't like werewolves, that they are a possible unknown threat to humans. Yet as she has watched the two tribes over the years she wasn't sure if she believed that anymore. Still she was not in any hurry to go make friends. She stood as the sunlight finally illuminated the rest of the forest. Curling her head back she let out a howl. She kept her distance from the packs but she wasn't afraid. She doubted her call would be heard from this far but if it was it was an announcement that she was back for the season.

Jason is chopping wood with a couple of omegas as the pack waits for black wood.
Luna is staying behind to monitor over the blackwood pack.

Davyn was on his makeshift bed of mattress and blankets that he never used since his body temperature was always burning hot. Snores could be heard from right outside his window which often called from complaints by his neighbors. He was in a deep slumber when he heard the Alphas howl, making his eyes fly wide open. Scrambling to his feet, he saw that wolves from his pack were already running towards their destination. “Shit, I’m gunna be the last one,” he grumbled and he scurried around getting himself ready. He threw on a white button down, only buttoning the bottom 3 buttons to reveal his glowing chest and abs, and slid on some folded khaki shorts. He didn’t have time to fully tie the sneakers on his feet before he walked out the door but when he finally tried to focus on what was in front of him... he couldn’t see. How could he have forgotten his glasses! Davyn ran back to his room grabbing a leather string that was attached to his glasses. He put it around his neck so when he shifted into a wolf he could carry it with him. Davyn quickly shifted into his rugged wolf form and began to catch up with the others. He was able to find his way around thanks to his heightened scent and his familiarity through the woods. Davyn did his best to sprint to catch up next to Lucas and Eric. He enjoyed being around those two considering their repertoire with their pack. It made Davyn feel special and important and especially with Eric, you never knew what you’d get from them. Being his boastful self, Davyn let out a long howl to show his greetings and announce his presence. It was almost like you could see a giant grin right on his wolf face.

It felt like Meli had been running for days. Maybe she had been. All that she felt was an urgency to flee for her life. That and an intense pain on her head was making her confused on what day it was, where she was coming from, and where she was even going. She didn’t really question her instincts much, if she was running, there was certainly a reason for it. Running right out of the woods made her half immediately to check her surroundings. A quaint town, not many people walking around even if it was a nice spring day. Taking a breath in to cool herself down, her mouth felt awfully dry. Licking her lips, Meli knew just what she needed. “Whisky.” She whispered to herself.
It wasn’t hard for her to find the towns one and only bar. It had a huge, neon sign saying so right on top. The bouncer at the door looked at her with a shocked face which made Meli raise an eyebrow. Looking down at her clothes, there were rips and blood all over her light blue skinny jeans and her dirt all over her cropped shirt, revealing some of the scars she had. Looking back up at the bouncer, she said with a very straight and serious face “Periods aren’t easy for every woman.” Which made the bouncer blush and without even IDing her, let her in. Meli checked her surroundings, as per usual, before heading over to the bar. It was basically empty in here. Taking a seat, she asked the bar tender for a Jack Daniels honey whiskey, and to make it 4 of them. He didn’t really question the girl and just gave her what she wanted. Gulping the drinks down, the warmth of the liquid poison soothing all her pain, she finally felt somewhat at ease.

Lucas Black
Interaction: Dumplingboy Dumplingboy & Xenagg Xenagg

The run was refreshing, the light breeze flowing through the hairs of his pelt had Lucas almost in a daze. The other wolves around him seemed so serious and to the point. The terrain of the Blackwood pack was abit rougher, large boulders and dense trees were all around them. Luckily the pack had been able to form a pretty decent trail between the two pack lands. As the pack came to a stream everyone dove in, the water only grazed the bottoms of their knees although a few chose to leap over it. After the commotion of splashing water was over was when Lucas began to hear it.

The snarling and snapping of competitive wolves. A group of three to be exact. Alpha's are known to be abit larger by genetics which gave Lucas abit of an advantage of sight. Of course one of them had to be Eric. Lucas kept watch as the group had turned the run into a race, although it was beginning to get abit to competitive. When the group began to pay more attention to snapping rather than running, the fell back in the pack closer to Lucas' location.

Just then a familiar howl called out an glancing over his shoulder, Lucas spied Davyn who he enjoyed the company of, he wasn't a reckless fool like the lead warrior to be. Lucas often wondered if Eric would be mature enough for such an important role in the pack. As Lucas' mind wandered once more he was snapped back to reality when the female warrior to Eric's side took a snap and Lucas' eye caught it from the corner. Powerful, silver legs pushed him forward faster as he then leaped into the air and came crashing down by the she wolfs right flank and Eric's left. With a deep and authoritive snarl, Lucas stretched to place a firm nip on both of their flanks "Enough the both of you! Do not turn this trip into a chaotic mess Eric, can't you keep your pride to yourself for once" with an irritated snort, Lucas slowed to move to the back of the pack again, next to Davyn "Nice of you to join us finally!" Lucas teased his Beta to be as he the focused on running once more. The female who had been getting into it with Eric pressed forward and moved away from him and the other wolf.

Anna/F alpha-to-be/silverwood
Mood: tired

A symphony of howls woke her. I am late!
Anna slipped into some jeans, then decided to take them off and stay in wolf form. Blackwood was coming, and that could only mean two things in Anna's book: they either wanted to taunt us, or they wanted to fight us. Anna wouldn't be as easily taunted in wolf form, she believed, though nothing would really change except her outward physical appearance. She let out a small howl, hoping that her parents wouldn't notice how late she was if they could still hear her voice. She looked out of the small, fogged glass window and saw a cluster of wolves meeting in the square. She bounded down the path, determination in her paws, hoping to not be met with any snarky comments or threats from blackwoods today.

With all the commotion, Davyn got excited, it was very typical of Eric to rile things up and basically assert his dominance, but that’s what Davyn liked about him. His pal Lucas was generous with his time, slowing down to meet up with Davyn to welcome him to their run. With a snicker coming from the wolf’s moth, Davyn nodded his head and said, “I couldn’t let you guys have all the fun by yourselves! It seems like Eric is excited to go to Silverwood eh?” Davyn eyes were now a forest green, locked on Eric- or at least a blurry moving blob that seemed a lot like Eric’s silhouette. “Watch this” Davyn said to Lucas before he launched, full speed to try and catch up with Eric to mess around with him. Inching closer to the silhouette, in a shorter amount of time than he anticipated, Davyn pounced onto the fuzzy round thing in his vision, only to be met with a very harsh reality of smashing into a boulder. The wolf whimpered after hitting the rock so hard but he quickly got back to his feet. This was usually why the pack looked down in Devyn. Thank goodness he was at least smart.... sometimes. “I’ll get him next time, maybe in human form with my glasses,” Davyn said with determination.
Joining in again on the run besides Lucas, Davyns impatient self couldn’t help but to ask “So, to what might we owe the pleasure to join the Silverwood on this fine morning?” Asking about details was usually a way for this Beta wolf to ponder and think strategically on how he should handle the situation- if there were any. He usually never cared to go to Silverwood unless it was official business.

Markus Featherwood
Interaction: WolfieGamer57 WolfieGamer57

The morning was bright and the breeze was smooth. Markus was the Alpha of Silverwood, his mate and Anna's mother had been killed when giving birth to their precious daughter, there were complications that not even the doctors could reverse, Anna's mother was lucky enough to be able to hold her for a few moments before she couldn't fight anymore. The flash back would almost bring Markus to tears, losing a mate was almost as bad as death. They say the amount of pain a werewolf feels when they lose their mate is almost unbareable, their skin goes cold and they fall ill, sometimes lasting up to a month.

Markus took a deep breath an looked up to the sky, the clouds passing slowly over head he whispered quietly "I hope I have raised our daughter well Candice" with that he let go of the railing an went back inside the house. The Featherwood family too had an Omega who has served them for many years, Mrs. Blake. She was bustling and cooking as much as she could, knowing the Blackwood pack was on the way she had called in a few fellow omega's to help cook. The house smelled delicious. Before exiting he called out over his shoulder "Everything smells wonderful!"

Stepping out onto the front porch, Markus moved toward the square, a large gazebo placed in the middle of their subdivision with a few picnic tables and benches to be seated on. Markus wore a simple baggy black t-shirt and baggy grey sweat pants, Blackwood never did like formal attire unless for big occaisions, so Markus was happy to keep things casual. At the sound of a very familiar and LATE howl sounded he turned to see his daughters wolf form, bounding toward the square. Of course Anna was late.

Anna was Markus' prize posession, nothing would mean more to him than her. After losing her mother, Markus swore to make her into the best Alpha Female he could, although he needed to trust in the gods to pair her with a suitable match to lead this pack. As she neared the square he folded his toned arms across his chest in a scolding manner "Anna, You were supposed to be up and ready an hour ago! You better not have been up all night again"

Interactions: Markus Boondox Boondox , Eric Dumplingboy Dumplingboy , and those in the square

Anna, still in wolf form, looked down sheepishly as her father scolded her. In truth, she had been up all night.
Recently, she had been smelling what she thought was her mate. The only problem was, it seemed so far away. It was a citrus-y smell with a hint of apple cider, and it drew Anna toward it. She had walked miles past the silverwood territory, only to be faced by more and more miles between her partner. Today, however, it was so close. And it was almost taunting.
"Sorry, father," Anna apologized. She sat down, ready to listen to the announcement or whatever would happen with the blackwoods here. Then it happened: a wolf brushed past her and Anna smelled the citrus and cider so strong she almost gagged. She sat up and snapped her head to the side. The other wolf seemed to have the same reaction. He turned around, letting Anna see his face. Rage and some bit of relief filled Anna's chest.
It was Eric.

Eric
Lead warrior to be/Blackwood

Eric let out a momentary growl when the alpha to be jumped in between him and the other warrior. He quickly looked forward, not wanting to get into it with his future alpha. He wasn't going to apologize for his actions, nor did he show any humility. He just let out a scruff and kept looking forward. Then there was Dayvn. Eric let out an exasperated sigh at the others presence and glanced at him at what could be pity. Yes Eric in the past was Dayvn's main bully growing up. Even in there late teens Eric was hard on Dayvn not really caring about his future position over him. At this point the beta to be was a lot cause, but he had other strengths. Strengths that Eric could respect, unlike Lucas who has only proved himself so far by being born to the right parents. It wasn't a secret that Eric did not like Lucas, he told him every chance he got. Him questioning his authority? Only Tapeesa knew that. Where was she anyway? Esa managed to get away with just about everything, and if you met her you would probably just let her be her. He would like to consider esa his best friend, even tho she had barely spoken three words to him. They had a weird dynamic, one that no one really knew about. Well accept Luna, she made a point to learn everyone's relations with each other. Made sense, her being alpha and all. As the silver wood pack came into view only one thing came was on his mind. A couple of the other wolves snickered one of them bumping into Eric playfully. "Try not to get beat up again." Eric let out a warning snarl that shut most of them up.

"For the last time the little bitch..." Eric looked over to the Vincent and quickly corrected his phrasing. "The little girl cheated. I was winning until she thru dirt into my face" At least that is was how Eric remembered it. And ever since that day he has been foolishly throwing dirt into his eyes preparing for this big anime rematch he had imagined in his head. He wasn't really mad at her. I mean was Anna a rival of his, yes. Had he made a negative name for himself amongst some of the silverwood pack members yes. Did they hate each other? Of course, but Eric hated everyone. This wasn't an anger filled revenge, Eric just wanted to boast that he best an alpha. If he knew her correctly she would agree and he would pumble her in front of everyone. They have had a few bickering back and forth, but Eric decided to wait until he was 100 percent sure he could beat her. If he lost a second time he might as well jump off a cliff now. Fighting had been the only thing on his mind, until a familiar scent caught his nose. He fell back, stopping almost dead in his tracks. Some of the others looked back in concern, one wolf gave an little bark to alert Vincent. Not many people had seen Eric scared, there reaction was normal. Why was he scared, yeah sure he told Esa that thought of being paired with someone was the last thing he wanted to. That he wasn't into commitment, that a mate would just distract him. Really he was scared that he wasn't ready yet. What if he disappointed her. What if she was amazing, Eric wasn't amazing. Eric was a mess, 18 year old werewolf and he was still afraid of the dark even if he could see in it. He had to shake out of his trance. He could not show up to the silver wood with tail tucked between his legs about to piss himself. Was discovering his soul mate supposed to be this terrifying. A call out from his group shook him from his trance. Eric was no omega, him being so spooked would put the whole group on edge. He would have to be more careful. He trotted back over catching up to them his demeanor changing. Now it was out of excitement on who it could be. A happy Eric was just as off putting as scared one, both sides of him usually meant something bad was about to happen.

Jason looked up towards the forest as he watched to young warriors come running at him."It's back, that rouge" one of the shouted both of them trying to catch their breath.

"Yeah...I heard" Of all days the rouge decided to make its appearance. All rogues were troublesome, but at least they weren't recurring. This particular rouge always came from the north. It would travel between the two packs territories. It had only been spotted a couple of times, but no one has made contact with it. Around last year it got bold. Announcing its presence at the turn of every season. At first it posed no real worry. But over time it was getting too comfortable.

"What are we gonna do?" the other wolf asked looking up to her leader eager and ready to chase after the stranger. They were young, and fool of hope and normally he would have no problem sending them off to pay it a little visit. This was no ordinary rouge, it was as if she new the woods better than the pack.

"We do nothing, hopefully whoever he is will pass along as he usual." He let out a sigh as he took of his gloves he used to chop wood. He then shifted into his large wolf form and ran off to the pack center. Normally he would scold his scouts for arriving so late with the daily report of the territory, but he was sure his lateness would be excused considering the news that they had. When he reached the benches he shifted back, wearing his usual lumberjack esque attire. "Markus." His tone was serious as he gave respectful greeting. His face softened as he smiled at the young alpha to be. "Anna" He took his seat growing serious again. "The rogue is back, the scouts caught wind of her. I now she hasn't really bothered us before besides a few spooks when it got to close. He, she, whatever is growing bold." He sighed running a hand through his hair. "We will try to chase him off, but he has definitely gotten smarter. Judge by its behavior if we do run into him it's going to get physical. He is bold enough to announce his arrival. I think it's a taunt. Maybe in this meeting we can discuss it further. It's the Blackwoods problem anyway, it seems to enjoy their territory more."

Chase had got up early that morning, before the break of dawn when the earth is still wet and the birds are silently tucked away in their nests. That moment you carefully move over the creaking floorboards afraid that if you take one wrong step, even the neighbors would wake up. He made himself a cup of coffee, a black concoction his grandmother often compared to tar. A smile spread across his lips at the thought. After a quick shower he put on a pair of dark cargo pants and a knitted grey sweater with a V-neck. He had not bothered to shave and only pulled a quick hand through his hair to loosen the wet strands. Once outside he headed towards the woods, slowly at first taking the time to savor that crisp morning air. The smell of nature made him happy, there was something about the untouched, undefiled smell of the soil, wood, leaves and rippling streams hidden behind the first line of trees that called out to him and once he breached the forests first line of defense he shifted. Broad white paws dug deep into the earth as the now white wolf stretched its form briefly before taking off like an arrow in the night.

It must’ve been an hour of running before he finally circled back, sticking to the edge of the forest he watched silently as his fellow pack members moved about, the occasional twitching of his ears at a sound being the only form of movement for a while. The scent of the Blackwood pack had already reached his nostrils and as he backed away in order to gain a better advantage point for when they would arrive, Chase’s his eyes fell on Jason. Considering it his job, or rather said job to be, to keep an eye on things and an ear to the ground the excitement of the young ones piqued his interest. Straining his ears to listen in on the conversation he could make out the word ‘rogue’. He had heard about rogues in the area, but so far none of them had been stupid enough to wander too far into their territory. Besides Jason’s reaction was nothing out of the ordinary, despite the elder wolves reputation Chase had learned to trust the lead warrior long ago and this ones reaction gave him nothing to worry about. A sudden noise to his left made him rear up, it seemed the blackwood pack had arrived.

Moving back to keep his distance and to gain a more advantageous position he quickly tried to gauge the strength of the other pack, pinpoint its bigger, stronger members and the weaker ones. They were on friendly terms, Chase was well aware of this, but such information never hurt to know. As his eyes passed over Lucas his form he lowered his head briefly in acknowledgement and once done with his assessment he turned tail and made way for his own pack. As he arrived his first instinct was to get as close to Markus as possible but his stride was cut short by Anna’s sharp movement towards Erik. Something about it irked him. Taking one last look at his Alpha and discerning that this one would be fine, he instead dropped down right next to Anna. “You alright?” It was a short question with a hint of suspicion that was not uncommon for him.

Lucas Black
Interaction- Xenagg Xenagg & Dumplingboy Dumplingboy

The terrain began to mold into a softer outcome, the tree's were less dense and the ground became softer, they even had to pass through a meadow. Lucas was listening to his future beta but not fully until of course he heard the collision of Davyn's body against a rather large boulder. As the Beta returned to the pack, Lucas couldn't help but chuckle "Of course you will Davyn, you will get him" with that he turned back to facing the group but Davyn decided he was going to push for answers and Lucas was quick to answer him, if Davyn was to be his right hand then he would have to learn how to handle gaining information that others won't "We are headed here due to the increased acitivity by the rogues, more have been showing up than usual" Lucas then kept his eyes forward. Lucas would never understand why Eric didn't respect him. Was it because Lucas was to be alpha and Eric believed him to be the better suit? If that was the case, the young warrior needed more than pride and arrogance to run a pack.

Just then the pack slowed to an easy trot, the tree's were clearing up ahead. Vincent was the first to push through the tree's. As they neared the square, Vincent kept his head high and chest pressed outward in a sign of authority, of course he knee ultimately he was on Markus' territory so Markus was the one in complete control. Vincent stopped just afew feet away when a member barked up to him with a slight bit of concern, turning his head he saw Eric, frozen in his tracks. Lucas who was at the rear was just exiting the tree line when Chase came into view, nodding back he then laid eyes on Eric. Lucas looked to his father as if to say keep going. Lucas knew Eric was not a fan but he couldn't help it, he needed to make sure he was alright. Walking next to Eric he bumped his shoulder lightly "You don't scare easy, so what was it you saw or smelt that we couldn't? And next time try not to be so dramatic, if to many people had seen you, they may have had a stroke" Lucas tried to make light of the situation, even though he knew Eric was going to snap at him for even going near him. Eric's attitude towards Lucas would not be tolerated in the coming years if this was how he would act, Lucas would have to deal with him another way. As they walked, Eric was then bumped by a silverwood wolf an they made a sneering remark towards Eric but Lucas didn't press for information on that.

Coming to halt in the square, everyone shifted back to their human forms, although Lucas did not, he would much rather stay in his wolf form just incase. Moving to take his place next to his father who now had also shifted was wearing a simple grey t-shirt with black cargo shorts. Markus had gestured for everyone to come in under the gazebo and get some food before the important meetings started. Lucas took this time to lay down in the grass and stretch out his legs for afew minutes.

There was no way.
NO WAY she would partner with this... this stupid werewolf, friend or not. Anna shook her head, still running into the woods. She considered staying out here for a few days, for dramatic effect, then to back and slap him. Maybe she'd do that.
Anna sat down behind a rock, far enough that only Eric could sense her (there's no avoiding that), and let herself relax somewhat. There were so many thoughts swirling through her head, but the most terrifying among them was, What will my dad think when he finds out? Anna heard about rogues in the area, but she hoped she wouldn't run into them.

Davyn was in a quite cheerful, peppy mood during the run, even after his collision with the boulder. That was until he heard what Lucas had informed him on. Davyns light hearted spirit suddenly switched to a very serious demeanor as his mind was running 100 miles per hour thinking of solutions and possibilities of things to come with having rogues out and about. If they were lucky, these rogues would simply be passing by and not interacting with the packs any time soon. Worst case scenario would be if they tried to attack or maybe even imprint on someone in the tribe! But Davyn didn’t think those chances were too big, who in Blackwood would even mate with some unruly tribe that wasn’t their own.
Arriving to the Gazebo, Davyn switched back to his human form immediately so he can put on his glasses and see things clearly to assess the meeting with the Silverwood pack. He grabbed some of the finger foods laid out for the pack which was something that pleased Davyn considering he missed his favorite meal of the day, breakfast! But he wasn’t too focused on the foods laid out for them because his mind was stuck on the rogue situation.
What grabbed Davyns attention next was Eric’s surprising reaction of fear and then happiness. What odd looks they were on this brute of a man. Tilting his head sideways, Davyn spoke to Eric saying “It looks like you saw a ghost that admitted it’s love for you. You alright?” If Eric was going to be here at the meeting, then maybe his unusual happiness was something that would bring good instead of chaos to the packs discussion

Kina knelt down the few sunrays that made it past the thick forest overhead fell onto her mostly bare skin. She picked up a small patch of fur attracted the the side of a tree. "Tikanni?" She spoke to herself taking a smell of the fur then clicking her tongue, he teeth gritting in disgust. "Amarok." Another werewolf, she wasn't to sure if it was from a rouge. She dropped the patch fur and started to walk off. Whoever it was was carless, running from something or chasing something down. This was not normal rouge behavior, she would spot a rouge before catching evidence of there being one. It was the pack that could pick up on unfamiliar scents, them having a connection of who was who. KIna knew this was a stranger to her, but it was she that was trespassing. The first could have belonged to someone in the pack. Still something did not sit right. As she walked she enjoyed the feel of her feet on the cool ground. It had been a long time since she had walked on two legs. Kina was comfortable in any form, as long as she was alone. Her steps were almost silent, the only thing to announce her presence was the soft rattle of the beaded jewelry she wore around her neck that covered most of her upper chest. Despite her rustic look, she gracefully stepped thru the forest, evident by the shells around her ankles that made almost no sound. She the paused, seeing a tiny group of deer eating from a small patch of clover. They looked up at Kina, but did not run just yet. "Pikatti, piosuringitok maitsiak." She reached her hand out moving slowly past them, and they let her. When the deer showed confidence in her being there she continued on her normal pace. She pulled out a knife that was tied to her leg and began to hack at a tree. A few layers of bark in and she had what she was looking for, sap. It had been a while since she had a treat. When the deer poked their head up and moved she went with them, and when they took of running so did she. When she was out here she was alone, with only the forest to keep her company. Sometimes she wonder what her life would be like in a pack, if she had actually knew her parents. A smile spread on her face as the sound of deer hooves and the rattlelling of her shells filled her ears. She allowed herself to break free for a moment. Racing the deer pulled at her more playful side. She then skidded to a stop as she watched the deer run off. She shifted back into her wolf form now that she was closer to where the humans occupied. She picked up on a scent again, the other werewolf. Why would it be heading into town this way? Rogues were nusincess, hypocritical of her to say yes, but she consider all of their kind to be troublesome. Maybe she would have felt differently had she been raised by the hands of her own kind. She made it a habit to chase off any strays, there was nothing she could do to the pack, and they seemed to be tamed. For those that weren't chased away by herself or the pack well, what was it seven marks on her arms now. Hopefully this one would head to her warning , of course she would not mind another mark.

"Yeah yeah whatever" was the only words Eric gave to Lucas before brushing him off as he took his place back in the group. His eyes scanned silver wood pack finding Anna sitting next to her father. Okay priorities, first greet the silverwood pack, then find where this smell is coming from, then get even with little miss alpha. As the two wolves brushed passed each other they both let out a little growl, though Eric's fell short. Even when Anna continued with her aggressive behavior and walking away from him, Eric was star struck. Like all his life he was floating without purpose through the air and now he felt grounded. Dayvn's question reached his ears but his eyes continued to follow after the she wolf. Eric shifted into his human form his head still turned to watch her sulk on the rocks. "Yeah..a ghost." He shook his head turning to look at Davyn and giving him a scowl. Well it was going to be a lot harder to focus now, what was that just then. Eric deep down knew what had just happened, he just was not ready to accept it yet. Eric was not good with complicated emotions, something that big to unpack would take time. Eric gathered near the other warriors, he wasn't the leader yet but he did have some influence by just sheer peer pressure. He could be a great leader, the way the warriors flocked to him, the way he could push them to better themselves, it was all evident of that.He just needed some more growing up to do. Eric loved to eat, any invitation of food isn’t taken lightly. He sat down with the others he hovered over his food stuffing his face. He would occasionally over at Anna, but his main focus was Chase. Maybe it was because he as talking to Anna, it was a stupid reason why would Eric care who she talked to. She was an annoying pompous brat, with gorgeous eyes and a voice like honey. I bet her skin would feel so soft...Eric stood up startling some of the others, he was shocked by his own thoughts. He cleared his throat, realizing some attention had been drawn to himself. Well great now he looked like an idiot...quick say something to normalize the situation. "There was a bee" He looked at the two alphas and then sat back down.

The first things Relah became aware of when waking up, were the golden rays of sunshine sneaking past the dark curtains in her living room and the whining pain in her lower back caused by her awkward position on the couch. Opening one eye and glancing around the room, she noticed little specks of dust whirl about and the smell of her mother’s vomit that still, desperately, clung to the stale air. She groaned loudly and pushed her face into one of the pillows, ignoring the armrest that was uncomfortably digging into her legs. Determined to get a few more minutes of rest. Somewhere in her hazy mind a rush of panic rose up and proceeded down to strike her square in the chest. Eyes wide open in realization, she hastily got up of off the furniture, her crude movements causing her to stumble her way towards the small bathroom. Cursing under her breath and limping as her toe caught the side of the table. She was late!

Her reflection in the mirror was almost enough to make her give up on the day right then and there. Her hair was a tangled mess, dark circles under her eyes and red lipstick that had somehow managed to smear out onto her left cheek. With one hand she pulled a brush through her hair, while using her other arm to try and rid herself from the long and rather baggy band-shirt she had put on somewhere during the night. After a quick wash and a little gnaw on a toothbrush, she put on a black tank-top, grabbed her dark-blue denim jeans of off the ground, stepped into a pair of black, worn-down boots and plucked a black leather jacket from the coat rack. She knew she was still a mess, but there was no time to hide the bags under her eyes with make-up, so it would have to do. Before going outside she took one last look into her mother’s room, the lingering smell of alcohol almost made her gag and the door handle creaked under the sudden pressure of her grip. Her pulse quickened and she could feel her shoulders tense in anger. Her mother had come home late last night, drunk out of her mind and high whatever substance she might have gotten a hold on. Relah had spend most of the night trying to make sure her mother wouldn’t choke on her own vomit and once again she stood there, listening to the steady, deep breathing to ensure herself, her mother was fine.

While making her way towards the gazebo in the middle of their division she slapped her cheeks a couple times, in the hopes of creating a more lively appearance rather than the pale apparition look she was undoubtedly sporting. The smell of fresh food made her hungry and she quickened her step even more. Upon reaching the pack she slowed down, trying to spot her alpa. Relah more than respected him, she owed him, she owed her entire pack for helping her take care of her mother and bearing with them even in tough times. She straightened her posture, standing tall and proud, but refused to move further forward, almost as if she was waiting for a sign. Being well aware of the fact she should not have been late for this meeting, her mind fabricated the thought that she needed permission to join the pack, even if it was just to silence that nagging, guilty feeling in the back of her mind.

Meli the Rogue
Interactions: Dumplingboy Dumplingboy

Meli couldn’t really recall how many drinks she threw back, one after another, after another. Leaning on the bar with her head smushed onto her palms which were holding her up, pain came in waves, mostly on her head but on other parts of her body too. “I’ll take another whiskey.” She mumbled too the bar tender who gave her a questioning look. Her eyes peaked through messy brown hair with a glare that hurried the bar tender in his processes. When Meli received her drink, she began to inhale it right when a scene of a mans fist coming down at her made her drop the glass onto the ground. Meli was frozen in fear before she could react to what she did, finally breaking her pose and hurrying to leave the bar. “Your tab!” The bar tender shouted after her, but she was already heading out the door. The fresh air soothed Meli only for a bit, that was until a wolf scent made the hairs on her body stand. The girl snarled in her human form as her eyes dashed to look for the being. It wasn’t a familiar smell to her, but outsider wolves were enemies after all. Meli began to run towards the woods when she finally spotted the creature and became defensive, embracing for an attack. Her eyes sent a warning for the wolf not to try anything, Meli hated fighting but she would do what she must to survive. Her drunken, messy, bloody state didn’t really help either, so if this wolf had a pack nearby, then Meli was screwed. With her lip twitching, Meli growled, “I do not want to fight. But if you come any closer I might just have to.” It really was sincere, but the harshness of her tone seemed more threatened than afraid of confrontation.

Kina had the upperground. She looked down at the the girl saying nothing. She debated between an aggressive approach or a calm one. Decide to do something in between, the wolf raised her tail in the air and laid held her head high. She slowey ascended down to the same level of the other rouge. If looks could kill, the drunken girl would be have dead by now. Kina circled her, her tail flicking in anticipation as she bared her teeth. It was clear that Kina did not want to fight,no by the look in her eyes she was ready to kill the new trespasser. Her threats did nothing to stop Kina, in fact it only seemed to seal the girls fate. So she was a rouge, and a skinny no good one at that. "Leave tonrar" Kina insult the girl in her native tongue. Even if the girl did not understand what Kina called her, the disgust in which she said it was evident that she would not tolerate her being here. If the girl did turn to leave, it did not matter to Kina. She would give chase anyway, trying her best to hunt the girl down.

Chase furrowed his brows in confusion at Anna’s reaction, he had always perceived her as soft and friendly, but something seemed to set her off. The change in her demeanor had happened quickly, so he could only assume it had to do something with their current situation. Sure, despite the peace between the two packs there had always been small struggles here and there, mostly of a competitive nature. He looked out over the two packs sensing excitement and anticipation, but nothing out of the ordinary. For an instant he locked eyes with Eric as this one glanced in their direction, or perhaps in Anna’s direction? Knowing about the boy’s flammable reputation the wolf in him wanted to growl a protective warning, nevertheless he forced a friendly smile on his face in an attempt to avoid suspicion. With the threat of rogue’s in the area, the last thing they needed were rumors about their Alpha to be not being on her game. Distracted by Anna’s sudden departure he couldn’t give it more thought though and for a moment he just sat there, debating whether or not to follow her.

Eventually he got op and excused himself. She had not responded to him earlier, but he wasn’t one to give up easily and even if she didn’t want to see him, though luck. They were having an important meeting about rogues in the area, and going by the information he had picked up on earlier, the rogue’s where actually ‘in’ their territory, even if it was just at the outskirts. Her actions were irresponsible and dangerous for someone in her position. Passing by two arguing younger members of the Silverwood pack he pinched one in the shoulder, a small gesture that immediately caused both to lower their heads and stop bickering. The only problem he had was that she was faster than him and catching up to her would be a challenge, good thing he knew the woods like the back of his hand. Lost in thought he walked a little closer past the Blackwood pack than he normally would’ve, a small subconscious act to try to assert dominance over his packs territory.

Reaching a small distance away from the Gazebo he shifted into his wolf form and took off into the woods after Anna. Had he been paying attention to it he would’ve enjoyed the singing birds that flocked up as he ran past, the ground under his feet that had warmed up ever so slightly under the morning sun and all the different smells of the forest itself. Instead he cursed them as they impeded his ability to follow Anna’s fading scent . After what seemed like an eternity he finally caught wind of her smell again. She was close. Unable to spot her, he jumped on top of an outcropping and changed back into his human form before raising his hands up to his mouth. “Anna!” He shouted curtly, trying to get her attention. His voice carried out through the tree’s, but he didn't wait for an answer. "Sorry for being the voice of reason, I know you want to be alone, but now is not the time.” A short pause, his voice more cordial. “Talk to me!” He didn't want to berate her, frankly he didn't even have the right to, but he needed her to come to her senses.

Melis blurred vision didn’t help her to see the wolf’s face, whether it was a challenging on or more of an observant one. But all it took was for the wolf to move and circle Meli for her to be set off and change into her wolf form. Being too drunk to care, she did not check to see if there were humans around but luckily enough, people were barely out and about so it was possible no one was there to see her shift. The brown, small wolf had dried blood that matted her fur together, causing the wolf to seem almost feral. Meli again growled as a warning that she would attack the other wolf but waves of dizziness and the circling of this other wolf made everything spin for Meli. Meli did hear the other telling her to leave but where would Meli go? And by her drunken and somewhat injured state, she probably wouldn’t go too far. Meli lowered herself before she DARTED back into the woods, trying to escape the wolf. She didn’t like nor actually want to fight and she knew that in her current stat, Meli wouldn’t be able to effectively fight her off. Her only chance of survival was her speed.
Dashing into the forest made Meli feel sick to her stomach as trees seemed to wobble and she could tell which was real and which was just because of her temporary, drunken double vision. She just gave way too nature to let her guide her, that and hoping her brown fur would help her blend in with the trees and dirt.

Devyn from Blackwood
Interactions: aja maji

Wow. What an odd behavior Eric was showing. It was truly amusing, especially to Devyn who was usually the butt of all jokes to the pack but now the snickers and giggles were directed at Eric, the large, warrior to be. Observing the man just looking around for something and then suddenly claiming it was a bee made Davyn shake his head and tsk Eric. Moving closer to him, Davyn spoke slowly “You need to focus. If you’re alpha to be than you should be more than prepared for a meeting like this. Rogues. It’s about rogues in our territory, possibly to harm us. Now get yourself together so we can start this meeting in a more serious tone.” This was one of the few occasions where Davyn seemed to be mature and serious. When it came to Pack matter or any type of intelligence given to him, his demeanor would shift replacing the cockiness into a more serious intellectual.
Davyn did not want their clan too look foolish at a time like this, even though the Blackwoods and Silverwoods were in good terms, that didn’t mean the blackwoods shouldn’t be the more superior pack. They had a reputation to uphold and Davyn would not allow anyone in his pack to embarrass them.

Lucas black

Eric and all the others were socialising and enjoying the finger foods that had been put out for their arrival, Lucas had been laying in the grass to stretch and finally the Alpha Markus was calling everyone to the gazebo to discuss the growing issues. Lucas stood and shifted human, stepping up onto the gazebo he stood next to his fathers chair, once it seemed everyone of importance was paying attention, Vincent began to speak "Thank you, Silverwood for having us from Blackwood, it has come to my attention that my warriors and hunters have reported increased rogue sightings and activity.. a few have even been brave enough to return for the spring, summer and fall" Vincent took a moment to glance up at lucas "My son will take it from here"

Lucas who had been listening intently, knew exactly where all of this was going but was slightly shocked when his father told him to take the reins. Lucas took a step forward and cleared his throat before continuing " We wanted to discuss and compare our rogue data and then form a plan of action would be used against them" lucas glanced at all the faces around him before looking back to Markus "I believe we give them one warning.. and if they do not listen to our warnings they will be punished by death, yes it may seem abit cruel but the rogues impose a threat to our home, the people of our town and they could even have a chance at imprinting on our pack members" Lucas then looked directly at Markus "What do you believe we should do?"

After he was finished talking, Lucas turned his attention back to the pack's and their faces. Some seemed to nod in agreement while others looked slightly terrified. Then he smelt it, off in the distance, almost to far to smell. A sweet cherry overlaying a soft campfire smell. It was very faint but still so tempting, although Lucas knew his job and kept himself put.

Scolding his daughter wasn't something he had to do often but of course it would be on the day the northern pack would be visiting. Markus smirked at his daughters reply but before he could say anything, wolves began to descend from the tree line. Blackwood had arrived, right on schedule.

Markus had been watching the two packs mingle for awhile, allowing them to see friends and for very few even loved ones. Markus finds allowingbthem some time to gather makes a stronger bond. Markus and vincent exchanged small talk for awhile as they enjoyed the finger foods laid out infrony of them.

Right as Markus was beginning to think he could continue on with his meeting to get the important and annoying parts out of the way his daughter darted from the corner of his eye, he furrowed his brows "Anna!" He called after her but she seemed to be in another world and that was not to be taken lightly when there were pack matters to discuss. Markus shook his head an sighed before he then looked to Chase as he began heading in the same direction, great.. two of them would miss out. Upon his frustration, Relah was then spotted approaching the gazebo, she lookes exhausted and alittle ashamed probably due to her being late. Markus flashed her a gentle smile an motioned with his hand in a gentle wave towards him "Come on up child and have a bite or two because the meeting is about to begin" Markus knew of her mother, the whole pack did and they had all sworn to keep her under their watch and attempt to help when they could. Markus would show Relah kindness whenever given the chance.

Finally ready to begin the discussion, motoining for everyone to gather around. Markus enjoyed how Vincent got straight to the point, he didn't like to sugar coat anything and neither did markus. As Vincent gave his reins to his son, Markus grew more interested an sat up in his seat. For anyone who knew Markus, knew he hated rogues most of all. Nodding in agreement he pondered a moment "yes, one simple and very clear warning to get out before they get killed, I like it" he glanced around at the faces aswell "My warriors will patrol six times a day, so every two hours until this mess is straightened out" Markus then glanced to the faces of his pack once more, hoping his darling daughter would have snuck her way back into the pack but she hadn't. Anna was to be the future for this pack and whatever had driven her to run away at this particular moment better have a solid reasoning behind it.

tense, curious, prepared, indignant - Silverwood - delta to be - outfit//no jewelry

From the moment she woke early morning, to now, Juno had been unnecessarily tense. She had of course known for some time that today the packs would meet once again. On Silverwood territory, thank goodness. There was no better situation for them should anything go wrong; not that she truly believed it would. But still, she was tense. Something had a hold of the back of her neck. She knew at the very least it wasn't fear. These meetings seldom took a turn for the worst. She just hoped this one was no different..... Then again....there was the rogue problem to consider. But the Alpha's would have that in the bag, wouldn't they? Everyone would so find out.

So, following a plentiful breakfast dominated by two cups of tea, her usual morning exercises on the floor of her bedroom and a jog around the houses, Juno shook herself off and headed for a good clean. She hadn't bathed in a couple of days and honestly, it irked her. For all of the training, moving and other activities she did, you are right to assume she didn't mind a week without a bath. But the day of a meeting? Hel no. If her aunt had taught her anything, it was that appearances could mean everything. Today was a day to prove that theory. Though not before her aunt stopped her in the kitchen. Both of them sat and spoke for maybe 20 minutes. About the days events; their importance. Juno received a swipe at the head for an out of place comment. Maria made it clear what she expected of her niece. Juno agreed. And then Maria took her leave. Most likely to meet with the Alpha's and Beta's. Perhaps say something out of line, herself.
When she was finally free to bathe, Juno made a b-line for the tub. With the usual apple scented products were all washed off of her body, Juno left her hair out to air dry, changed into the day's wardrobe and threw her jacket over her shoulder for the outside world.

When bare feet met soil for the second time that day, the olive girl breathed a sigh of relief and headed for the Gazebo. She insisted on helping to prepare some of the day's food but was shoo'd away and then chastised by her aunt. Again. So, instead, she approached the early risers of the pack, the younger ones in particular. From time to time they gathered and spoke about many things. Juno would detail fact and fiction for them and they would listen. Before anyone knew it everyone would be on their feet and sparring or cheering over an arm wrestle. Not today, however. At least not for Juno. On this morning she only jeered on one arm wrestle and spoke with the younger for the rest of the time they spent in a circle. These mornings were her favourite nonetheless. Her motherly instincts took over and nothing could keep her from spending time with these kids.
Nothing except perhaps food.
When the gazebo was full for lunch Juno was blinking in surprise. Laughed at by a boy wearing a watch.

Smart arse. He had better hope he doesn't forget to take it off before changing. doubt it.
She had of course been pulled away from the group at least once an hour but her eyes never even glanced at a clock in all that time.

When Juno was close to finishing her meal, the sudden attention given to the treeline by her pack caught her attention, and she turned her head to see the Blackwoods step into the clearing. She started to feel uncertain but quickly shook off the nerves and snapped back to reality. She wouldn't be involved anyway. She promised her aunt she wouldn't speak up. Besides. She was only a Delta-to-be.

This'll be great

Juno was quick to finish her meal, put down her plate and wipe off her face. As well as secure her jacket around her shoulders.
Her aunt, already anticipating their arrival, beckoned for the nineteen-year-old to join her at her side.
As the pack descended into their camp, Juno kept the edge of a smile on her lips and her attention everywhere.
She had no friends in the Blackwood pack, and even less she could call friend here. Of course she had the younger pack members~ but the others her age- she sometimes found it hard to connect with them. She was what one might call "strangely solitary" despite her eagerness to form bonds. But, she did have acquaintances. So as individuals came to enjoy a meal before the meeting started, Juno greeted them, her aunt staying close by, and occasionally introducing her to someone she hadn't the pleasure of meeting till today.

The closer it got to a discussion, the more uneased Juno felt.
While hanging on to a discussion she was only partly involved with, the sudden movement of Anna in her peripheral had her snap to attention. She was quick to frown and almost made a move to stand but Chase was already~ well- chasing.
She wasn't sure what she would say to her anyways.

Will she be okay?
Her frown deepened when Markus called after her to no avail.
She watched the two disappear into the forest. She wouldv'e sworn she heard her aunt say something under her breath.
Unfortunately for those two, the show must go on. And Markus looked very well prepared to begin.

As Relah approached the gazebo, Juno's smile grew that little bit more, especially so at Markus' kindness.
Juno made to fetch a plate but her aunt simply shook her head and Juno rolled her eyes.
"Right. I guess i'll sit down now won't I?"
"Yes. You will. Pay attention."
Juno's eyes grew wide as she followed her aunt to take a seat and observe.

That was out loud?

Lucas taking over so quickly from his father didn't surprise her one bit. She hardly knew the boy but she could see in his face that he could do it. At least, that's what his words communicated. For ea moment she thought he was on the right track. And then he spoke of quick death and her brow furrowed. Anyone with an eye on her would've immediately known what she thought of that. Yes, they posed a great danger, and yes there was the risk one could imprint and have a way in~ (that was a whole 'nother conversation about worthiness Juno had considered, for another time) but one warning before death? It didn't seem fair to her. These individuals were the same kind. They were wolf too. Why be so quick to kill?
I just love first impressions. this is ridiculous, i want my pack safe i want us all safe. safety comes first. why. another solution?
She fought to keep her face from becoming more contorted as Markus agreed with Lucas but clearly she must have made some noise in her throat because her aunt pinched her side and Juno bit her tongue with a tiny yelp. Her head turned to Maria and she looked between the woman's eyes, not understanding why she did that.

The chase was growing bothersome for Kina. She knew the woods better than this stray, which aided her considerably. Everytime it felt as though she had the drop on her, the female would dart to the left or right, Kina's reflexes not being able to do much about it. Even when the girl was injured she was able push of Kina when she managed to get a bite or two. The stray took a wrong turn down an unfamiliar way for her and Kina was able to close in. Just as it seemed this chase would be over the threathint scent of the pack distracted Kina. The stray gave a painful kick to the face before rushing into a stream. Kina stopped in her tracks, her tongue flicked out licking up the blood in her mouth from the painful kick. She also was trying to get a better scent of the air. Even if she was miles away, she still was closer then what she wanted to be. She watched as the stray ran off and let out a gruff. This was going to be problematic. Kina paced back and forth in frustration, as she tried to calm her nerves and think. The stray was no longer in her sight, heading deeper into pack territory. Kina shook her head in defeat and ran off in the other direction
