This is our new thread. Due to an unexpected error, I needed to recreate the thread. (Which wouldn't be up so quickly without @Pine's help, so thanks, pal!) I'll be migrating your character sheets here in a short moment, so don't worry about that.

  Appearance: Al is a tall man, with a lean frame yet very toned musculature. His long limbs make him look a bit thinner than he actually is. On top of his head is a mop of wild brown hair, covered in cowlicks. His face, however, has surprisingly soft features for someone in his profession - albeit, it's more oft than not got a bruise or bandage. His grin is rather wide. Al's body has a few light scars etched here and there.
  
  
  Personality: Al is by all means a kind, well-meaning person, with an understanding of the importance of friendship. He just happens to have a wild streak, and that streak just happens to be rather good at hitting stuff really hard.
  
  
  He's not so much caught up in a balance between right and wrong as he is between right and fun. He's impulsive, and has a poor sense of self-preservation, which often means he's the one to do the most dangerous task, regardless of whether he was asked.
  
  
  It's probably good to note he's not the sharpest knife; he has poor decision making skills and no sense of danger.
  
  
  Backstory: Al has always been an adventurer by trade, killing monsters for money and living life as an explorer, hunter, and walking exterminator/bandit removal service. Despite his exceptional strength and the many miles he's walked, he's yet to have accomplished anything that would make him famous, but he has eaten a number of strange things, resulting in one of his stranger talents. He hopes that his joining the Rising Phoenix Guild will satisfy his constant thirst for adventure, but also enable him to accomplish his lifelong dream of being a homeowner.

  Al is a surprisingly competent grillmaster. As it turns out, you get good at cooking game after fighting and eating enough of them. As a result of learning how to cook, he also has a strong stomach, and isn't terribly picky.
  
  
  After a lengthy amount of time without work (The roads were well patrolled after a recruitment drive, clearing out bandits and dangerous wildlife from that part of the country), Al has become a master of checkers.
  
  
  After an incident involving some accidentally ingested alchemical ingredients, Al has gained the ability to translate Common into Draconic, but not vice versa.
  
  
  He likes to play bar games, like knife throwing and rock punch.
  
  
  Abilities
  
  Al is strong - much stronger than his frame would even suggest; he can bend a steel blade with his hands, throw heavy objects, and lift big things. He's durable to boot- It's pretty common for enemies to take a sledgehammer to his face, because anything less probably won't phase him.
  
  
  Naturally, his self-taught fighting style takes advantage of this, and focuses on Al throwing his momentum around to deliver maximum impact haymakers. Drop kicks are common, as are wild punches, suplexes, and throwing whatever's handy, up to and including the enemy. Additionally, Al carries around a greatsword or two, since he finds their length and mass are ideal for slinging around. Also he thinks they're cool.
  
  
  Unfortunately, this fighting style also means that, as tough as he is, he inevitably takes on a lot of wear and tear, and needs to get patched up regularly.
  
  
  
  
  
  
• 
  
  
  -Greatsword(s) - A large sword of about five feet in length, and rather hefty. It's made of regular steel. Though simple, it gets the job done. In addition to the one tied to his back, he carries three similar others in a sling, as backups.
  
  
  -Clothing - A set of traveler's pants, short sleeved shirt, and leather boots. To top it all off is a hooded brown longcoat with the sleeves rolled up to the elbows. The coat has a frog stitched into the back to hold a sword. To accessorize, Al has a necklace made of a beast fang - his lucky charm. Additionally, his right hand and wrist are wrapped in bandages, to support his joints.
  
  
  -One bag, for holding the following miscellaneous items
  
  -One torch, consisting of a stick wrapped in an oily rag.
  
  
  
  
  -Forty feet of rope
  
  
  -A bottle of very strong malt liquor
  
  
  -Salt
  
  
  -Various spices
  
  
  -A utility knife
  
  
  -A large hunting knife
