Everything is perfectly fine... till a game of truth or dare under the stars threaten to ignite a new relationship through the burns of full night and disown-ment. But maybe, just maybe, they can find the much-needed peace in each other.

~ Remus Lupin ~


Remus flipped through his book casually, taking liking to the silence drowning him in his thoughts. But, when you share a dorm with four other boys... silence doesn't exactly last forever. He should have guessed his peaceful reading would be cut short by the door slamming open, Sirius Black and James Potter arm in arm smirking like morons with a timid Peter Pettigrew behind them. Not bothering to take his eyes of the printed words he looked up at them. "Yes?" He asked in a ticked-off manner, not wanting to spare time for any stupid prank they had up their sleeves.


"Remus... let's play a game!" James suggested. Rolling his eyes, Remus put a finger in his book. Even though it was probably useless, stupid, and made no-sense at all, he couldn't help but be drawn in by James's ideas. It was one of his quirks. But not the one as big as Sirius Black who could get him to do anything when he shot him puppy eyes.


"Fine... what did you have in your head?" The prefect groaned, placing the book down on the side of the bed.


"A muggle game Lily told me about.... TRUTH OR DARE!" James went next to him, and Sirius hurried him into a circle. "Need to hear the instructions?" Remus shook his head. He was a half-blood. It was a game his muggle mother had taught with him at a younger age.

Sirius burst through the room to see Remus reading. He always does look undeniably attractive when he's being bookish. He smiled at the thought of draping his arms around the boy, holding him in his lap whilst he read. Not that he'd ever admit such foolish thoughts. Sirius had zoned out in his Remus moment, only snapping out when the prefect agreed. James and Lily had already described the game to him. Simple enough. Maybe I can get Remus's crush out if I ask him.

"Well good. Then I'll go first." James suggested, putting one hand through his messy hair. "Sirius, truth or dare?"


"Dare!" Sirius smirked, a devilish smile approaching onto his face at a rather accelerating speed. He wasn't one to drop out of a dare so easily. He was going to show he was manly enough. And it would hopefully be enough to capture the essence of getting Remus on a date. "What is it?"


"I dare you to... mhm.... kiss Remus!" Sirius tried to contain his happiness by pulling a disgusted face.


"Ew, James.." He groaned.
