T-Virus

Lucais walked through the motel, opening doors and shooting zombies with his bow. The girl left him, but that was ok, because he didn't need anyone else. e needed to focus on himself, and only him. Not some show-off priss. He sighed and shook his head. He walked in and out of every single room, collecting what he could. Clothes, food, medicine. Anything would do. You could never have too much in a situation like this.

Dexter wanted to pull his eyes away, wanted to look away, but he could not he watched the creatures, Dexter could not even bring himself to call them dogs anymore....He felt the vomit rise in his throat, that local shelter full of dogs were they? Swallowing gently, Dexter nodded wordlessly before he was able to speak, "Yes, now I see why, so dogs and walkers gun em down? Any other species we need to worry about?"

Alissa inhaled deeply, "When Dr. Doom created the T-virus, he had created other... monsters as well. They were part human part... Animal maybe? I don't exactly know, i did not make them or know very much about them, i only protected the facility from intruders with various traps. There were more then Human ability, they are faster stronger and smarter then us... I know merely because i had taken the tests... i was an experiment, but they are different, they are the true monsters we fear." She fell silent, he knew she was not human now, that she was merely an experiment to keep the facility safe, or what ever needed to be protected.

Jessi aims her gun at the larger dogs head, she pulls the trigger and the bullet slices through the dog's brain and it falls to the ground dead, she smiles "Stay." the rest of the dogs look around for the shooter.

Dylan::..

Dylan glanced down roughly. He was proccessing all the new information. Dylan stood and glanced back at her. "So, basically your an expirement. You escaped and now, there are other's. Even worst. And you have... Powers?" Dylan surprised himself at how stupid he sounded. Dylan watched her reactions. Even though she was a perfect picture of sanity, he couldn't wrap his finger around the fact that she was... Different. Dylan smiled as he heard the Television from next door. "You know, this informatio will not change my point of view of you. My sister's, however, don't trust easily. Keep this between us." He smiled sweetly. "McKenna is the type of girl that won't listen to will. I can tell she's pretty spooked at the fact that you worked with them. I'll explain to her later."

McKenna::..

McKenna laid down with her sister, she knew her brother. And if she was right, her brother was interoganting the girl, without her even knowing it. He was good like that. But if she was wrong, however, he was moat likl flirting with her. Or he was plannin. It didn't really matter right now. McKenna propped herself up against the head board. She watched the television. A sudden wave of relaxation washed over her. When was the last time she had just lied still, beside the time's she was unconcious? She didn't remember a time like this, since a few years most likly.

Dexter looked between the dead.....animal walker and Jessi, his gray eyes shifting to and fro aiming his pistol, Dexter suck in a breath targeting another animal walker and shooting it in the back of his head, it fell, blood spilling from between its nose. Dex let out the breath in a shaky laugh, "Heel." He commented back with a soft smile. I need to let these preconceived thoughts....feelings go, this is no longer the place we use to live in.

Alissa nodded, "You could call them powers, i guess." she hesitated "I wouldn't blame them for their timidness, this time of desperation is not easy for their age... Its hard on all of us, but some people are just less sane then others, there are survivors out there, while i was in an abandoned train station" She stopped talking and sighed. "the radio was thick with static, but someone was talking, possible a family. They begged for help, they gave their coordinates on where they were at... i don't know if they are alive, But its dangerous, some people beg for help like they are desperate for medicine, Food, water, clothes, whatever, But once you get there... They take knives to your throat, attempt to murder you or torture you, trust out here should not be given... Yet earned. She leaned her back against the wall, her arms crossed over her chest, "There us a lot we don't know yet about this out break..."

Jessi shot the last dog, then looked around and walked along the roof side, then slumped down on the edge, and looked up at Dexter "
So where are you from?" she asked as she cleaned the drying zombie blood off her machete that she used earlier this morning.

Dylan::..

Dylan nodded in agreement. He quite understood. "I See. But since your here, there is no reason to leave you behind. You should come with us." He smiled in a pleasent manner. Dylan had stood once again, as he heard the moaning increase. "And if you have predicted correctly, there might be a new out break. I Remember the hell we went through, when the first one hit. Maybe we should evacuate to somewhere safer..." He paused and thought hard for a moment. "Does that sound good to you?" For once since the beginning, Dylan didn't have to take full responsibility. He had gotten to share it with somebody else. It felt surprisingly good and relaxing. He smiled in comfort.

McKenna & McKenzie::..

The sister's laid firmly on the bed, they both were giggling at the smart remarks that some of the old characters had said. McKenna switched off the T.v. As she stood, McKenna helped her sister from the bed. McKenzie smiled sweetly as she approached the door. McKenzie pulled her gun out, ready for any surprise as usial. McKenna followed her lead with her knife at hand. As soon as they entered the hallm they noticed something strange. An odd banging sound. McKenna glanced down the hall, then to her sister. "Go get Dylan." She instructed. McKenzie nodded. McKenna walked down the hall, to the stairs door. The door was being pushed slightly in. As she stood there she heard a moan release from the cracks. McKenna froze in terror. "Oh no..." She whispered, McKenna ran down the hall to her brothers door.

McKenna and McKenzie entered together. Both were pail, which had alarmed Dylan. "Whats wrong?" He asked, cautiously. "Dylan, they're breaking in. The stairs door is starting to wear away!" McKenna hissed, she glanced back half-hearted. McKenzie had locked the door behind them. "There coming, we have to go now!" She called out, glancing through the peep hole. McKenna held the door knob firmly, she had started to softly shake.

Alissa un-seethed her long dagger, it was a soft but known hiss from the metal grinding together as she released the sharp blade from its covering. She then took her gun from its holster, it happened in a quick few movements, she looked up at Dylan "Are we going to plow through the horde and risk possible bites and injures?" She asks then turns towards the window "Or escape through the window?" she looked out the window a near roof was close enough to jump to. then she looked back she asked them, Dumpster was at the bottom, a few zombie bodies where inside, but at the bottom crawls limped and crawled un-aware of the 'living' being watching them.

Mason and Luke ran through the halls blood dripping from their weapons, "Hurry." Luke calls back to Spencer.

*Thanks* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Spenser ran behind the boys, killing off the last zombie with a flick of the wrist. She ran up behind the boys at the end of the hall and looked outside the window. "In here.." She said pointing to an empty classroom. "It's getting dark. We should stay here until morning..." She said quietly, stepping into the classroom, gun pointed. She looked around. and luckily, no creatures were anywhere to be found. She took her pack off her back and placed it on the teachers desk. "Here..." she said, taking out some of her supplies. "It's all I have, but take it.." She mumbled, looking at the boys and the darkening skies.

Mason shook his head and pushed her hands away letting her keep her supplies, He slumped down against the desk and sighed, He pulled off his back pack and tossed Spencer and Luke both some loaf bread, He ate some as well, slowly he chewed then swallowed "So.. where are you from?" he asked taking another bite.

Luke sat on the teachers desk and ate some of his bread slowly, he learned how to conserve food, since there isn't much and its hard to spare. He looked towards the door of the room and grabbed the long pole on the American flag then he shut the door the rest of the way and lodged the sharp flag in between the handles to prevent it from opening.

Spenser watched Mason push back her supplies astonished. 'What?' She thought to herself. She shook her head and sighed when the bread came. "Uh... Thanks?" She said slightly confused. She ate the bread slowly, breaking off tiny pieces one at a time. She looked back up at Mason. "Originally, Miami Florida..." She said shyly. "So uhm... What's your guys situation? And who are you anyways? I guess now's the time for introductions..." She said, laughing a bit under her breath. "Sorry.. I.. I'm not good with people." She sighed, thinking how stupid her earlier comment was.

Mason looked up at her and shrugged "Just like every other person in this god for saken shit hole- Trying to live." He ate a bit more bread "I am Mason." Lucas walked and sat back on the teacher's desk and ate his bread slowly "I'm Luke." He said after Mason, "You don't have anyone up in Miami you hope to see again right?" Lucas swallowed his mouth full slowly and looked towards the window.

Dylan::..

Dylan shook his head. "We go through the hord, we'll die for sure. The window might be our only option." He considered. Dylan hated the idea of climbing through a window, Seventeen stories in the air. It was risky, but they were seconds away from becoming overwelmed. Dylan grabbed his gun and blade from his pockets, as he nodded. "Let's move out." He commanded, stepping onto the ledge. Dylan glanced hastily down below. The population of them were increasing, he glanced back at his sisters and Alissa. Dylan was at cross roads. "You first, Alissa, take them to safety. I'll catch up. I promise." He smiled gently, symbolizing that everything was alright.

McKenna::.. & McKenzie::..

McKenna an McKenzie exchanged hard glances before nodding in agreement. They hated the idea of being seperated, agitated them. McKenna nodded as she glanced upwards at Alissa. "Whats your plan?" She asked, slowly. Suddenly, there was a loud bang in the hall, an overwelming amount of moaning, and the clanking of metal against the ground. "They've broken in!" McKenna said quickly. Dylan nodded, "No time for planning now, time for action." He began to pull the girls out onto the patio. "Ready?"

Spenser sighed. "Nope. I've realized that all of were probably eaten and turned into one of those F**kers a while ago..." She said to Mason. "Oh.. I'm Spenser..." She replied, forgetting to introduce herself. "I miss a few though. But of course, they're not comin' back..." She muttered under her breath.

Alissa didn't hesitate she ran quickly and she pushed herself up off the railing and into the air she landed on the roof across from them, she touched the roof slightly with her hands when she landed, then she turned back to them "Hurry." She said her bright blue eyes glittered in the sun and she extended her arms "I can catch you, Don't worry." She knew she could, she was no human what so ever, it made the life as a human much more easier.

Mason nodded and picked up his bag and rummaged through it and pulled out water bottles and gave everyone one, he nodded "Make sure not to drink to much, we need to save them." He said then shivered slightly.

"Keep it" Spenser said, sliding it back to him. "Don't waste your supplies on me, I've got my own." She said, taking her own bottle out and sipping a bit. "God, those things are nasty, aren't they?" She said, seeing one pass through the woods outside. "Oh, and good Idea to put the flag in the door Luke..." She said quietly.

Luke nodded, "Finding your companions dead in the morning is not fun, or worse finding them zombies." He shrugged.

Mason put the water back in his backpack and sighed, "They are revolting, Sickening." he shook his head

Dylan::.. Dylan nodded, as he grabbed McKenzies waist. "You'll be fine," He whispered into her ear. McKenzie hugged Dylan before she jumped into the air, soaring below, until she was caught. Dylan did the next with McKenna. McKenna turned to her brother, "Don't get yourself killed Dylan." She mumbled, as he nodded. Dylan lifted McKenna over the rail. She jumped down to Alissa. Dylan nodded down at them before he turned back into the hotel room. Dylan walked over to the door. He sighed as he as he heard the moans grow stronger. Dylan grabbed his sisters bags, he jogged back to the patio. "Look out!' He yelled, tossing down the bags. Dylan smiled down at them as he turned back into the room, for more surplies.

Alissa caught their bags then looked up waiting for Dylan to toss more supplies, But the near by group of zombies had heard Dylan's yell and came to investigate them.

Dylan::..

Dylan grabbed the last bags, before sliding the back door shut. As soon as he tossed it, there was a bunch of loud banging. "Guess thats my que to leave." He mumbled, Dylan climbed over the rail. He jumped off, soaring through the air. Dylan rolledof the roof before he stood up. Dylan shook himself off, "Well," He announced, "Thats a way to give you adreniline run." Dylan dusted off his jeans. McKenna picked up a few bag's, she glanced up at building. The zombies had broken through. "So, are we leaving? You know, before they figure out what we did?" She asked, as one fell off the ledge and plummeted to its doom.

Dexter watched the last being fall dead. He heard Jessi get up, and walked over before sitting down. The redhead rolled over on his back taking steady breaths, his mind spinning from just everything. Dexter turned to look at Jessi caught off gaurd for a moment by the normacy of the question, his eyes went over her before he started speaking,

"I lived here, in this city, but in the worse parts, inner city, ha, guess you could not tell the difference now eh?" Dexter chuckled gently, "What about you?"

Jessi nodded "I didn't live here..." she sighed "I grew up in Utah, Once the virus hit, i came here. I thought it would be better here, everyone alive, evacuated and safe... Nope. " she looked away, bring up her past brought memories, good memories that pained her everyday to think about, she merely yearned to hear him say it, one last time.

Alissa looked around "I would hope we will be leaving." she then squinted slightly, a while away looked to be a house. She raised an eyebrow "There?" she asked pointing.

Dylan::..

Dylan nodded approvingly. "Anywhere is fine, as long as were away from the crawlers." Dylan mumbled, picking up the supplies that were a jar. Dylan glanced back at the crawlers that were piling up. "Ladies first." He announced, motioning his hands forward. McKenna rolled her eye's, she smiled slightly. Dylan began walking with the three girls. "Gee, I hope I'm not the only Boy survivor. That would be kind of a downer." He chuckled lightly to himself, trying to upright the mood. Even he could sense the tension in the air. "I wonder if the roof's are stable enough to hold us." He mumbled to himself. Dyln was quite chatty today.

Alissa walked the the edge of the roof then jumped to the next roof and looked over at him, she twirled her machete "A total downer." you could hear the playful sarcasm in her voice, so merely an experiment with sanity she had a personality. she smiled then waited for the to jump as well
