A few minutes? A few seconds? Is there a time frame we're working with or does it vary from werewolf to werewolf?

it's more like a brief resting period before the transformation, the werewolves' bodies take time to process the blood moon's light through their blood/cells. Takes about 30 mins at most for each wolf. You can tell that they're processing because their eyes turn orange.

yellow eyes (normal) --> orange eyes (processing period, vulnerable) --> red eyes (transformed)
