Fantasy Sword & Glory

Well, maybe not everything. Eldar aren't the best at being zealots of a corpse.

After reading your signature it reminds me so much of that episode of "If the Emperor had a text-to-speech device".

It's an exact quotation! You watch it too? Best scene ever was of the Dark Angels.

Ok so question 1. Is this an open RP (please say it is so because it sounds great!)

and 2. Are female chars allowed? (like not oooh please saaaave me from the horror *faints* females like i will kick your ass if you look at me like that again females O.o )

If the answer is yes to both may i please create a CS.

Yes to all questions. Last thing we need is an army of angry radical feminists. If it were closed, he would have stated so.

Sudden influx of girls. Batten down the hatches lads there's more CS than RP posts! Shall I make a lady dwarf cause we are highly under supplied in the angry short Scottish people department.

Allow me to look it over - I'll tell you what I think in a bit.

Alright! Things have been read, and interest has been captured. The question is, what are our limits?

From first glance this seems like a cross between the Witcher and Dragon Age Inquisition style races/lore/creatures. This allows me to assume that a general high fantasy style is in place despite no locations being listed. Making up races is allowed which is good. We can't have anything 'regular' ;P But one question here remains. What level of technology are we at? Are guns a thing? How about styles of clothing? Airships?

I'll admit in our last roleplay I was kind of crushed that I spent more time creating my character than I ended up typing up posts; And more time perfecting the BBCode than I did typing up meaningful words. This is a request not to let that happen again.

My second question has a lot to do with post which was above me - How does magic work? Is it taught? A bloodline? Something granted by an artifact? A pact? Perhaps all of these are true, creating a distinction between Wizards, Sorcerers, Casual Magic, and Warlocks respectively. What are the limits of magic, and how does the author prevent the magical characters from dominating the non-magical ones?

But that leads to a third question.. What genre is this? Horror? Realistic? Heroic? Is one able to join the dark side as easily as they are able to fight it? Could I play a cruel dark sorceress if I wanted to and take advantage of the war around me to build a cult for example?

I think with those answered I'll be able to construct a character that won't be breaking anyone's image of the game thus far, and they're probably good things to answer anyways. With that said I'll start looking for a picture to base my character off of.

My plan was to make it a dark fantasy, but I guess it didn't turn out that way. It is based off of Witcher but instead of Dragon Age it's more like The Elder Scrolls.

Answer to question one: Dwarves are the most technologically advanced, the best technology they have is probably a flint lock pistol that shoots out smaller crossbow bolts. (this RP takes place after medieval times, just before the Renaissance). Clothing is typical medieval clothing (@Veyd Sahvoz 's equipment is a quite unrealistic but I'll let it slide).

Answer to question two: Magic is taught, but is banned by the Eternal Fire (the most "popular" religion) but the followers of Vacrigar (heavily based off of Norse Paganism). Magic isn't stuff like summoning blizzards or a meteor storm. Little things that aren't used to destroy your enemies like seeing the future. (Note that most people that are followers of Vacrigar practice magic).

Answer to question three: This is a realistic RP in terms of plot, I don't want a plot with a dark god trying to destroy the world. Basically, I want this to be realistic so it would be dark. (I guess you could say it's like GoT)

Lol sorry for the shitty transitions for the answers. :P
