Dany groaned and cursed Seth under her breath before turning the shower off and getting out. She grabbed a towel and dried herself off before grabbing her wet clothes and throwing them in the laundry basket. She walked over to the mirror and already saw the red marks that were forming on her neck and collarbone, and cursed Seth again. She grabbed a dressing gown and wrapped it around her, walking to her room and brushing her hair out and drying it until it was a sleek and shiny white. She let it fall around her neck and below her collarbone, hiding the marks, and got dressed in a short navy dress, she did her makeup, and looked at herself in the mirror, smiling.

Seth walked out of his room with the dark suit his father had brought him. He walked down to the diner room, his mother probably buying some food from the market since their was so much and it all looked delicious. It was placed like a buffet and separate tables, he looked at his father in a questioning way. His father winked at him, '' Guess what? Jean's family is coming over so is Marcus.'' he said. Seth rolled his eyes, not only were they both pretty big family's with children of all aged. Marcus was another co worker of his father, a very gentle man and very small actually. Yet he was very bulky and his wife was gorgeous, it wouldn't surprise him if his children looked amazing.

Dany walked down the stairs and into the dining room, making sure her hair covered the marks on her, but she'd put a little bit of cover up on them incase her hair moved. She brushed her hand on Seths leg as she walked past and into the living room, she turned the tv on, some lame cartoon, and waited for the guests to arrive. It was about half an hour later when the guests did arrive, spying them out of the window she got up to have a look and saw a fancy looking car pulling up on the driveway. As the people got out she gasped, damn they were one good looking family, every single one of the children were physical perfection, and there was one girl her age that was so beautiful it almost hurt. Something in her stomach tightened, jealousy, this girl was more beautiful than Daenerys ever could be. She looked away and turned the tv off, before walking over to the front door to let them in.

So many kids ran in the house it almost made him dizzy, Jean's family came in first. They had two beautiful black twins who just seemed honestly who both had very evil smirks but with parents they seemed like angels. They also had an older daughter around fifteen and a son that was around their age, 17 and to finish, a little baby. He greeted everyone in a very sophisticated way like he was thought to, and his parents did the same. Finally, Marcus's family followed. He didn't have as many kids, but they were older. His oldest was Seth age and the two other girls were around 14. He greeted them all equally but the oldest of them gave him a big hug, '' Heyyy, oh my god its been so long Seth!'' she said looking at him lovingly. Seth grinned and hugged her back recognizing her as his childhood friend, '' It sure did Alix''

Dany was polite to whoever spoke to her, and when it came time for the meal to be served she sat close to her mother, still feeling jealous about this girl Alix and Seths friendship or relationship. She watched them from the far end of the table, she had made sure she didn't sit near them because she wanted them to be able to catch up, and she wanted to maintain the facade that she was his step sister and nothing more, even if what had happened this afternoon was still in her mind.

Seth was surprised to see her and so happy at the same time. She was his childhood friend, the girl with who he had passed all of his life with and shared the most memorable souvenirs. They sat next to each other as they discussed during the whole time, laughing and smiling like they had just seen each other the day before. All the parents smirked Adam even proposing a certain 'development'. Tho, Seth had blushed and looked at Dany feeling a bit uncomfortable about it. He shoved the ideas away since he wanted to keep the step brother faced. Alix glanced at Seth a few times, so did he since he honestly loved this girl and she had grown out beautiful. Alix opened her mouth but immediately closed it and then finally asked, '' Say, I was wondering if you would want to go somewhere to catch up and all.'' she said a bit hesitant but still confident about it. All the adults had giggled, especially Lucy and the mother of Alix. Adam immediately jumped in, '' Of course he will, he has nothing to do tomorrow right Seth.'' Feeling peer pressure he blushed a bit and ran a hand through his hair, '' Hum..Sure, to catch up and all sounds fun.'' he said a smile.

Dany looked down at her food and pushed it found her plate quietly, she but her tongue, making sure that she didn't say something witty that would cause suspicion. She wasn't happy about them going out tomorrow, but she couldn't stop them, from what she'd gathered on the table the two had been childhood friends, and she didn't want to be rude and step in even if she wasn't happy about the arrangement, besides its not like Seth and Dany were even an official couple. She was silent throughout the dinner, and when all the adults moved to the living area and the kids to the outside she was left with the teenagers, Alix, Seth and two other younger ones. Looking around awkwardly she sighed and stood up, wiping her mouth with her napkin. "I'll be excused." She stood up and walked upstairs to her room and sat down on her bed. Why was she acting so jealous?

Seth looked up at Dany leaving and immediately felt a bit guilty. If only they didn't have to act around his parents, if only they could be natural and be together. But it was his own fault for falling for her, but how couldn't he. His thought drifted away as the two twins of Jean came running towards him, actually, all of the kids. Alix just laughed, '' Why don't we go watch a movie, all of us?'' she asked at the small kids and looked up at Seth. He just grinned, '' You always had a hang on kids.'' he said, Alix looked back at him as they walked past the main rooms, '' So do you, I never saw you once hated by a kid. They all seem to genuinely love you.'' she said walking next to Seth followed by the crowed of kids. They ended up storming in Seth room, luckily he didn't anything precious or too precious in the room. He sat on the corner of the room and talked with Alix what seemed like hours but it was barely 30mins while the kids watched some cartoon on his computer. While Alix was busy putting them some Disney Movie called Frozen, Seth grabbed his phone and texted Dany.


9:40- Daenery: Hey, come to the room )


He pressed the send button and shoved his phone in his pocket while Alix sat next to him.

Dany looked at the text she had just received and threw her phone on her bed gently, not replying. She didn't much feel like being surrounded by kids or anyone, it was hard enough to act like siblings in front of their parents, but in front of this Alix girl would be a problem. She lay down on her bed and thought about these stupid decisions she was making when she heard her text tone again. She ignored it, not bothering to open the text, and got up and looked outside of the window.

Dany wouldn't reply, obviously she was mad and he knew it. He threw his phone in his pocket, Alix looked at him frowning a bit,"what's up? You seem a bit mad?" She said pocking his forehead who just seemed to loosen up. She chuckled a bit so did he realizing it. " not really. Just confused." He said looking back at the kids who seemed to be amused, one of them really loved them since he was nuzzling in between them, Seth liked them too but Dany was always in his mind. He stood up and smiled at Alix " I'll be back!" He stated. Alix nodded with a warm smile and started playing with the evil twins and her sisters. Seth walked out of his room, closing the door in the way and walked towards Dani's room. He walked in closing her door and looked at her with crossed arm,"what the hell Dani? Why won't you respond?" He asked a bit irritated.

Dany looked at him, confused. "I didn't think you'd really want me there while you catch up with Alix." She shrugged her shoulders and took out one of her earphones which she had been listening to, she turned down the volume so she could hear him better.

Seth rolled his eyes and looked back at her. He walked towards the bed and sat next to her. "well if I took the time to text you it's because i wanted you there." He simply stated a bit less irritated then before. Since the guest came in he noticed her tensed demeanor, he didn't understand why.

"You could just be doing it because it's the polite thing to do." Dany pointed out, shrugging her shoulders and leaned her head on his shoulder. "You should go hang out with Alix, you need to catch up, I'll be okay here." She said, checking her phone and pressing play on her music so it was blaring into one ear.

Seth nodded, he held her waist tenderly and kissed the crown of her head. "Ok.. Text me if you get bored alone!" He added while standing up rolling his head as it cracked, "i feel so sore nowadays it's crazy.." He stated randomly before flashing a lop sided grin to her.

She smiled back and watched him leave the room, the smile instantly came off her face. Daenerys spent the rest of the evening in her room, with The Cure shouting in her ear loudly. She danced around lazily, collapsed on the bed, and woke up the next day around 8am. She rolled out of bed and stood up, stretching and sighing. She was in for a boring day seen as Seth had plans with Alix.

Everyone ended up leaving very late and Seth had to wash the whole kitchen with his parents since Dany ended up sleeping, him confirming it after some twin ran to her room. At least, he hadn't made too much noise and she was almost a log when she slept. He ended up sleeping around 2am and only woke up around 9am. He had to meet up with Alix in barely two hours so he started showering and dressed himself quite casually and according to the temperature over here. He then walked out and his father was at his front door. Seth was a bit shocked but simply smiled,


His father grinned and looked at his son,


'' Well aren't you one handsome boy!'' Adam said with a cheerful tone


'' Thanks,'' Seth said running a hand through his hair shyly.


'' Have fun in your Date, he said winking at him, '' I still remember when you said you were going to marry her.''


'' I had barely started school and I don't even recall saying that.'' Seth said rolling his eyes.


'' Oh please, I knew your mom when we were toddlers and ended up marrying her.'' Adam added placing a hand on his shoulder. He taped it and walked towards the kitchen where breakfast was on the table, Seth following side by side. He didn't really know how to reply and only shrugged with a lopsided smile and started eating.

Dany walked downstairs and sat at the table lazily, her body slouched, extremely out of character. Her eyelids were dark, and her face looked paler than ever, her hair tumbling around her messily. She wore a baggy grey shirt and sweat pants, and she ate what her mother gave her slowly, not speaking at all. Her mother scowled, "Daenerys sit up straight." She shook her head and carried on slouching in silence, avoiding eye contact with everyone. When she finished she stood up and pushed her chair back, leaving her plate on the table she walked out of the room and into her bedroom, turning on the small tv and collapsing on the bed.

'' Well, that's odd.'' Lucy said looking at Dany simply looking plain bored and unamused. The two boys shrugged but Seth was a bit more worried, for her. Once everyone finished, he stood up and had a small conversation with his parents and finally knocked on Dany's bedroom door. '' Hey, What's up with you?'' he said softly waiting for her to open her door.

"Go away," she called out to Seth from the other side of the door. "Nothing's wrong." She went and pushed something heavy in front of the door to prevent it from being opened by Seth. She was lying to him, her stomach felt weird, she had a feeling in her heart. She knew that what her and Seth had been doing was wrong but after seeing him with another girl who wasn't classed as his stepsister got to her slightly. She shouldn't be having this kind of relationship with her step brother, he should be out having relationships with girls that he can actually talk about his parents to. She sat down next to the heavy object, leaning her head against the wall. She was trying to push Seth away, she realised.

Seth was shocked by her statement and tried opening the door but it was blocked, '' What the fuck man? Why did you block the door dummy?'' he said a bit irritated by her attitude. He wouldn't push it tho, he wasn't going to shout and over dramatize anything, maybe she was just in her periods, who knew? '' I know something is wrong Dany, just talk to me about it.'' Seth said softly leaning on the door, his ear pressed gently on the wooden door. He didn't want to just go out on what his father assumed a Date, knowing that the girl he liked was back home and watching them.

"Nothing is wrong." She said again, harshly, her eyes closed and her head resting against the wall. She felt like screaming at him that the only thing was wrong was them, that he should have a normal life and normal relationships with beautiful South African girls that he grew up with, not some Texan diva ballerina who was supposed to be related to him. "Now piss off before you become a problem." She held her hand over her mouth as she said it, she was so determined to push him away, she'd spent all night thinking about how they couldn't be together and she better push him away sooner.

Seth frowned at the door feeling Irritated and hurt somehow, did she really not trust him? or was he just some toy to play with. His father ended up passing to see Daenerys. Adam ended up showing some stupid grin and said a joke which didn't amuse Seth, not seeing that his son was obviously angered and not in the mood. Seth ended up shouting at how stupid Adam was being because of his grin and walked out of the house. Adam shrugged not knowing what had just happened and knocked on Dany's door, '' Hey Sweety!I kind of hoped you would help me out with some stuff'' he said in a cheerful tone.

Dany opened the door quietly after shoving the heavy dresser out of the way. She looked up at her step father and smiled. Her own father had called her sweety, and now he never even called her anything, like she didn't even exist to him, so being called sweety sort of calmed her down a little. "What can I do for you?" She said, sort of cheerfully, she wasn't going to be mean to Adam, he was only part of the problem but she couldn't really blame him.
