Fantasy Survival Academy!

Off in the distance, he saw something falling out of the sky and into the canopy above, before losing sight of it in the forest below. Van wasn't sure what was out there, but he decided that it would be best to keep his guard up at this point, just in case anything else attacked. "Also, that bat looked like the lower level monsters in a video game.. That means they should be getting stronger." He'd say, watching as the bat slowly rotted away. The monsters rotting process seemed a lot faster than in the realm of the living. You could almost see the skeleton of the creature, almost like it had been picked at by vultures for the past few days.

Van looked back to the gates, when a flicker of white caught his eyes in the darkness of the forest. "Another monster?" He muttered out loud and stood up on his feet. (I'm guessing you stopped? If not correct me and I'll edit) But when the creature stopped, he began questioning if it was threatening or not. It seemed as large as a normal wolf and he guessed that these monsters made ones that were much bigger, judging by that bat's size and width. "Are you friendly?" Van asked, with his hand holding onto the handle of the sword in it's sheathe.

She smiled slightly as John took her hand. "I suppose. Though, none of us are very fresh if you think about it." She was referring to the fact that they had woken up either on piles of old leaves or full out bushes, sometimes even at the blood ocean's shore. She still had twigs in her hair and droplets of crimson staining her pants.

Jazmine looked at where John was staring, shaking her head.

"Just one very strange photo." She noted flatly.

John takes a sigh if relief, he has been doing that a lot today. He keeps looking over at the painting every now and again as if he expects it to be moving. He looks back at the other two before looking at himself. He checks to see how clean he is but dosn't really see see a difference. "I don't know what you mean, I am always this clean." He says that because he dosn't really consider himself dirty. Though most people's definition of clean would consider him such.

Al looked over to the picture that both of them were staring at.  It was far more likely a portrait than a photo, but Al hardly cared.  It looked like a portrait of a very tall, faceless man.  Probably the principal, given the whole "no one has seen my face" thing.  Something about it seemed to unnerve him.  He turned to look at his two new companions.  They could all stay here and learn more about each other, but he felt like learning what to do was a more pressing matter.  He just wasn't quite sure where to begin.  Maybe they should just wait.  This was basically a boarding school or a college, so there should be guards, but maybe the students themselves ARE the guards, or something.  He sighed.  They were going to get nowhere by comparing this to a regular school.  "I don't know what you mean, I am always this clean," said John.  Al carefully examined John.  He certainly seemed dirty.  Just how poor was this kid for this to be average?  Al would have to find out later.

"What's your name?" he asked Jazmine, partially to change the subject.  He really didn't want to get depressed by learning just how bad John had it in life, even if he'd probably learn it eventually.

Raine Grey

Raine looked at the man, tilting her head in confusion. Who was he? Where was she? What was that terrible rotting smell? And what was the strange creature behind the man? The pure white wolf spotted with patches of blood stood there, fear glistening in her eyes. She wasn't sure what to do, or why she was a wolf. None of this was making sense. Seeing the group of humans, Raine envisioned herself as a human as well, sitting in the homeschooling section in her father's lab. All of a sudden, her bones began shifting again, cracking painfully. It wasn't as bad as the pain she was used to back in the lab, but it was still there. In mere moments, a dark haired girl with pretty hazel eyes stood before them, dressed in blue skinny jeans, black combat boots, and a black and white flannel top over a lace trimmed tank top. The material over her left shoulder was raggedly sliced apart, and blood seeped from the wounds, standing the white portions of the arm of her shirt a deep red. She looked at Van, brow furrowed in fear. "I'm not dangerous, I promise," she murmured, reaching up to put pressure on  the wound to stop the bleeding.

John really dosnt feel comfortable in the room anymore. Not just the portrait but he just feels like something is lurking in there. He grabs the hands of Al  while still holding Jazmine's hand. He pulls them, obviously not enough to be able to force them to do anything. He is just trying to get them to follow him. "I don't like it in here....I just feel like we're not alone." He pulls them I to a nearby hallway filled to the brim with doors. "Ummmm ummmm. Should we make some noise to get someone's attention?"

---------------------------------

The Light on the crystal began to glow once again and a familiar voice came through it.. "Wake up students, it's morning time. Don't want to be late for class!".. Was this all just a game to the principle? He sounded so amused by the fact that monsters were attacking his students. Like he didn't care about them. Also, Van was very confused.. Because it was still dark. "And remember, a person who is late, misses out on the knowledge they need to survive. So I wouldn't skip if I were you!" The voice then turned off... But then came back suddenly. "P.S, It's never daytime like in the human realm. Don't worry though, we have electricity."

--------------------------------

John jumped a little at the sudden announcement form his hand and the others for that matter. It was something that would take some getting used to. But regardless he looks to the others. "Well I guess it worked on some level." He said rubbing the back of his head, the bump still hurt a little but it didn't bother him. He could hear the moving of the other students in there rooms, it seems that everyone was getting started. "Well, I guess we should get to class...Wherever that is..."

Sillian is silent as the strange wolf approached, and looked surprised as it transformed into a person before his eyes. He supposed that wasn't exactly the strangest thing he had seen considering there was a dead bat monster, but did not expect that to happen. "So, that crystal wasn't lying when it said we'd get powers... Either that, or I'm in a delusional coma instead of being dead, but I doubt that." he mumbles to himself, before looking again at the girl. "Um... Hi?" he says, uncertainly but willing to trust her.

Van adjusted his hat and slowly removed his hand from the sword as the wolf regressed back to a human form. His guard wasn't completely down though, because it could be one of the monsters tricks to get them to lower their guards. Van glanced back to the male behind him, before he saw the crimson liquid dripping from a wound and staining the shirt of the woman. 'Hmm..' he thought, staying calm in a situation such as this one. He looked over at the school and then back to her, suggesting the idea that "We should find some sort of medical station for that wound of yours. What was you attacked by?".

"Ah, well, that sounds like it's more than a little important. I don't think I like the principal very much, but I also don't think we should annoy him. So lets go." Sillian says, slightly annoyed but also curious as to what power he may have.

"Yes, that's a good idea.. But what about her wounds? We don't even know where the medical room is and she's bleeding." He'd say, worrying, even though this person could be another monster. Yet Van also felt like she wasn't, because he hadn't seen a monster with powers yet.

"Good point, but considering neither of us can do anything about this, I think going to where we're told to and then asking for help there is the best idea. I'm not going to search the entire island to try to find something that we aren't even certain exists." Sillian says, seemingly unfazed about the bleeding.

Raine Grey

Raine glanced down at her wound, the hand putting pressure on it already covered in blood. She looked back up at Van and nodded, accepting his help. She wasn't exactly sure who these people were, or if they were anything like the monster that attacked her, but she didn't really care at the moment. Raine looked back up and met Van's gaze with her own pretty hazel eyes. "I'm not a monster. I don't know how I'm able to change into a wolf. I just need some help with this wound," Raine answered, looking between the two men. "My name is Raine. Raine Grey. I was attacked by a creature in the forest... It looked like a large wolf skeleton on fire, purple fire." She ignored the crystal, but one of the men seemed intent on following its orders. She simply stood there, unsure of what to do.

@Peculiar Panda@Kill

Sillian was about to say that the wolf skeleton with purple fire sounded ridiculous, until he realised that, yet again, this still wasn't the strangest thing so far. "Well, nice to meet you, I'm Sillian. We cant do much about that injury, but we can probably ask around for help." he says to her, still deciding to trust Raine.

'A wolf skeleton on fire..?' he thought, but shook off the thought after, deciding that worrying about what's out there isn't as important as how severe the wound is. So he asked what he was thinking. "How severe is the wound? Is it a large cut?" Van asked, unsure on what they were dealing with. It depended on the wounds size as to how much time they had left until they could find some help. "Also, the name's Van. Nice to meet you, even under the circumstances."

It would probably be best by getting inside of the building, so he walked around to find the nearest door inside. Van saw lights flicker and start to turn on from the windows, in almost every room. "Lets find a way inside."

Raine Grey

Raine nodded, following the men towards the building. As she walked, she removed the flannel she was wearing. Raine balled it up and pressed it against the wound on her shoulder to help stop the bleeding better. Without her flannel shirt, Raine had a grey lace-lined tank top that she wore underneath. Her exposed skin was littered with scars, some large and some small, some light and some gorily dark pink. Raine had learned to ignore the scars, accepting them as part of who she was. However, to someone who didn't know her, the scars could be quite horrendous. Raine looked up at the building as they search for an entrance, half-thinking that they were walking in to a trap, the other half thinking that she was still alive and this wall all a dream. A hideously vivid dream. Nonetheless, she needed to move forward. "Maybe through the front door over there?" she suggested, nodding to the ominous big double doors.

Alanna walks quietly through the gate wearing her normal black hoodie and gloves giving her an intimidating appearance. Truth was she was as nervous as heck and tried not to draw to much attention to herself she put her headphones on and listened to some music to calm herself down.

The synchronized sound of their crystal's announcement was a bit odd.  On the bright side, they had a real goal now.  For some reason, Al felt like they got the easier end of the stick, in terms of first "day".  Maybe some other students were attacked by these monsters, that Al had yet to see?  Surely it must have happened in the past.  "Yeah," he said, "we should."  John was still holding his and Jazmine's hands, which certainly felt odd, but after all that happened today, he was a bit numb to oddness.  The problem was that they still didn't have their "schedules", so to speak.  Was this really just like middle school?  Did everyone have the same classes?  He saw the largest congregation of people in a specific classroom.  If that wasn't the default first class, then at least the teacher would point them towards the right direction.  "Let's go see what's going on over there," he said, pointing towards the room.  They really should have gone to orientation.

John is quite intimidated by the group of people. He didn't feel threatened but he just doesn't like large groups of people. So he just moves back a little behind the Al and Jazmine. "Alright if that is where we should go then lets go." Even though he says that he waits until the others start to move before he dose. Even though he didn't know the people he is with he feels a lot more comfortable around them much more then the others. "Maybe they will explain everything more in our first class." He wasn't looking forward to this at all but he knew that this was the only way that they could move on and get back to there lives.

Alanna saw an intimidated boy  (john) walking ahead her she thought "Is it because of the way I look? Hope he is okay" Alanna flashed John a comforting smile. "Hey don't worry. I think everything will be okay." she lied trying to cheer him up.But, in reality Alanna was really nervous and wanted this all to be over. @TheMADQ

"Yea, we probably should start with those doors." Van reached his hand out when he was close enough to the door and ended up opening one of them to reveal a hallway. Inside of the hallway there were classrooms and a few early risers walking around the school. First years, second years, third, fourth. You could tell how long they have been here, due to the badge on the right side of their clothing, that had a number on it to indicate how many years they spent at the academy. Van saw middle aged people that had the same badge and wondered how old people would get before their 'second chance' vanished.

Even though this was a high school, it contained 'middle school' or 'primary school' classes, which meant that everyone was in the same class, but different rooms. Van saw his Diamond flashing and he ended up pressing it, causing a holographic image to pop up on which rooms he was in for the day. "It says I'm in classroom 102. First floor. Power Leveling." He'd turn around while explaining. "Press the crystal."

"Huh, alright." Sillian says, interested in what it will say for him. He then presses the crystal, wondering why they didn't just tell them themselves instead of... well, whatever this is.

John sees someone talking to him and he moves more behind Al. But still pearning his head over he nods to the woman. He gives her a small smile, showing that her words did comfort him. "Your right, we will get out of here in no time." He moves out a little as if he was more comfortable with her then before. But still he is hiding himself. Even though he is shy he seems to come to trust people easily.

Raine Grey

Raine followed them over to the doors, the pain in her shoulder become a sharp throb instead of a burning sensation. She looked inside the building before stepping in, making sure there weren't any monsters or other threats. It was a rather large building, something like once of the colleges her father spoke at when she was younger. People of all ages sauntered through the halls, forcing her to wonder if everyone was sent to this place when they die, or only a select few got the luxury. Raine jumped when Van spoke, so focused on examining the place that she wasn't expecting it. Raine nodded, releasing the pressure on her injured arm for a moment to press on the crystal, watching in awe as the holographic image ejected from it. "Looks like I have the same first class as you," she said, glancing at Van.
