Fantasy SuperWing Heroes

"Hi Katie." Lyon replied. "Welcome aboard." He smiled softly, reaching out his hand for a handshake. A clump of hair flopped down onto his forehead as he did this, obscuring his vision and infiltrating his mouth. "Dammit.", He muttered through a mouthful of white. "I hate this stupid hat."

Katie grinned and extended her hand as well, before giggling a little as the captai-- er... Lyon's hair filled his face and mouth. "Sorry to hear that," she said, moving one hand and brushing a bit of his hair away. She then froze in realization of what she had just done, and looked embarrassed. Unsure what to say, she just pretended nothing had happened and hoped he would too.

"Uh, nice ship you've got here," she complimented, smirking at him. "Guess it's called the SuperWing with good reason." She just really wanted someone to find her joke funny, if she was honest.

Lyon blushed as Katie brushed the hair from his face. He stood stunned for a second, then spoke. "Haha, yeah. It was my dad's. He really loved it, but it got really badly messed up a few years ago, when he... Uh, he died." Lyon fixed his gaze on the ground, wondering why he was saying all this to a perfect stranger. It probably didn't matter, he decided. Katie seemed nice. And it wasn't like she was going to hurt him or anything. She might as well know. "Apparently it was called 'The Wing" when my dad got it. He renamed it. I think it's awesome."

Laura upon seeing some sort of sign up paper proceeded to the said ship. She looked around until her eyes rested on two pairs, a girl and a man- the man looks like he's the captain so she approached him. She suddenly interrupted them by shoving the said paper in front of the captain's face, "The person that's good at handling computers has arrived." she proudly introduced herself as she glanced at the female and the male back and forth.

She wasn't even sure why she accepted this offer. All she know was she was bored and got nothing to do. Plus she just got fired on her last job when she tried to put spy softwares on one of the computers to hack a certain person's bank account. And partly also because she needs something to eat and her stomach is currently groaning at her.

Katie only nodded solemnly as Lyon explained his hat's origins, not knowing what else to say. She felt terrible, of course, but she barely even knew this guy. Speaking of which, she was surprised he was telling her this at all. Maybe he was just naturally trusting. Or maybe he just trusted her. Either way, it felt nice having a trusting captain.

"The 'Wing'?" she smirked. "Yeah, 'SuperWing' sounds much cooler." She let her gaze wander around the deck. "It really is beautiful. And awesome."

Suddenly, a random stranger woman appeared from nowhere, shoving a paper in Lyon's face. "The person that's good at handling computers has arrived," the girl declared, then looked back and forth between Katie and Lyon.

"Um, hi," Katie shrugged, waving a little bit. "I'm Katie." She didn't feel comfortable introducing Lyon; after all, the captain should have the authority (and common sense!) to do it himself. So she smiled at the newcomer girl, awaiting her (sure to be enthusiastic) response.

"Woah!" Lyon stepped back a little. "Computers? Yeah, we do need someone for those. What's your name? I'm Lyon." He looked at the newcomer. "Well, I guess I'm already letting random people I don't know onto my dad's ship. I guess just cause this one was a little more abrupt, doesn't mean she's less trustworthy", he thought to himself.

"Good morning to you and hello miss Kate." Laura replied to the woman who's name she got wrong. Surely the girl must be a newcomer like her too. Laura then looked back to the captain when he said something, "Sire, sire... Just by looking at my face you will already realize that I'm a trustable person, ain't that right lady?" she cheerfully looked at the other female to make sure she will agree with her.

Sure she might put some sort of spyware and bug every now and then at the ship but that doesn't make her a suspicious person! Right?

"...Katie..." the girl corrected under her breath. She almost laughed though, as the stranger lass continued on in her overenthusiastic and ebullient ramblings. Okay, this lady was certainly a character. Katie just wasn't sure if the cheerful, dramatic thing was really how she was or if it was merely a cover act for whatever tragic backstory she had been through. Who was to know?

"Um, sure, I guess," Katie replied, when asked if this girl was particularly trustworthy. "I mean, I dunno, we have only just met." She shrugged and glanced at Lyon with an unconvinced look written across her face.

Lyon looked at Katie, seeing the sceptical expression on her face. Turning back to the newcomer, he said,"Uh, I never said I didn't trust you. I was just surprised, that's all. What was your name?" Lyon gave her an odd look. She was certainly energetic, he'd give her that. Then again, so was he. He gave her an excited smile, and extended his hand.

Laura hesitated if she should tell them her real name or nah? After all only a fool tells their true name infront of their possible enemy, okay maybe she has trust issues but so what? "Aye aye captain. I go by the name of Laura usually." nonetheless, she took his hand and shook it before pulling away to take out her ukulele and started strumming random pirate songs.

Jessica after awhile decided it was time to introduce herself. She folded her arms across her chest, in attempts to look impressive and not a weak damsel needing nurturing.

"I had a ship of my own, some circumstances happened leaving me shipless. I can do any job you need me to do, but I prefer the sails. They're my speciality."

Once she has said her bit, she transferred her weight onto one foot. She then realized she had failed to give her name.

"Oh, and my names Jess." It would be much easier if she just said what she wanted to be called instead of giving the whole names Jessica, you can call me Jess bit.

"Hi Jess." Lyon said. He looked at her. She seemed experienced, given that she had a "speciality", especially one so specific to ships. And she had said she used to have a ship. That was good. "Welcome to the SuperWing, I guess. It'll be good to have you."

Jess smiled, and nodded in respect. His childish demeanor threw her off a little bit, but she thought they would get along just fine. She glanced up at the sails, figuring out what type they were, and where the poles connected for easy climbing. After a few seconds, she had identified the sails, and her climbing routine. There was a few loose ropes at the current moment, but those would be an easy fix. There however was a stray rope that she was trying to currently find out what use it had, or where it was supposed to go. She looked questioningly at the rope.

Chyanne walked past everyone and pat the captain on the shoulder "This should be an interesting trip, you have an array of different people, including myself, best of luck with the crew." And before the captain could say anything else she wandered off to the front of the ship and sat on the very front of it on the railing and stared out at the sea.

Looking at Lyon smithy sighed "I'll just go to the engine room, if y'all need me" walking off he put on his goggles and checked the engine itself for a problem then stroked his beard "Could be improved, but not bad" he sat in a chair and pulled out a box from his left middle pocket and opened it watching the cears move and started to fiddle with it humming while he finished his cigar

Charles walked to the captain and patted him on the shoulder, to get his attention "Hey, Lyon, would you mind showing me the pilot room? That way i can get set up and then we'll sail ad soon as you'd like." He said, eager to find out what the room in wich he'll pass most of his time will be like. Charles always liked a neat and clean room, he hoped that it will be just like that.

"Names Connor McKinley." he said. "Put me where you need me." Standing up, he looks around to where he might be needed. "And it doesn't look like I'm needed anywhere right now. Perhaps the kitchens." talking more to himself then anything else.

Laura as I have said earlier was very hungry. She watched as people approached the captain, nodding and smiling to them from time to time still playing and strumming with her ukulele. But when a guy named Connor suddenly introduced himself and said the word 'kitchen', her face lit up and a grin crept to her face.

Laura approached the guy and continued playing her instrument, "Wellll~ hello there sir Connor. " she greeted him in a sing song voice, "It seems like you're the type of guy who can cook so... I was wondering if you can cook something for me, yes?" she rubbed her hands together as she asked for a favor from him.

Jesus, when would these kids learn to not sneak up on an old man? This thought passed through his head as he turned in tge direction of the girl. "Hmm? Oh, well nice to meet you." he said, a smile splitting his face revealing a mouth that was surprisingly full of teeth considering his age. "Cook yah something? Suppose I could do that. We're still in port, supplies are here. Sure, I can whip you something up real quick. Now, where in the Sister's graces is the kitchen?" The last part was accompanied with a quick scratch of his head before picking a random direction, and a rather likely one, and heading off. If he knew ships, the kitchen was below deck but not at the bottom. The bottom is for cargo.

"Yayyyy! You look like my long lost grandfather you know!" Laura happily said as she is finally going to eat. She just hoped that Connor can cook something edible and he's not just bluffing around- because she can't have stomach ache now! "Hey everybody! Grandpa here is gonna make us some breakfast!" she called out to everybody as she strummed her ukelele once more for a dramatic background music.

Emmet unlike the rest of the people boarding the ship, he was already in his onboard cabin. He had sept all the way to the spot they rested in now, and was in a daze because of it, not knowing who he was or where he is now. He stumbled to his feet mumbling something," where- what- oh..." He lets out a faint chuckle as his memory comes back to him at the sight of his room.

"looks like I had a drink too many." He walks to his cabin bathroom and washes his face. "Alright time to go meet up the new crew" he grabs his keys and walks to the boarding area

"Hey everybody! Grandpa here is gonna make us some breakfast!" called Laura, and Katie turned to look at her. She was feeling kind of hungry... but she had only just gotten here, and felt a bit weird just strolling in and taking their food. Laura strummed her ukulele again, and Katie rolled her eyes fondly. She always said she wouldn't get attached to the crazy ones... wasn't her fault they were so endearing...

Connor stared in dismay at the group that was forming behind him. He hadn't said he was going to make breakfast for all of them. First he had to find where the darn kitchen was. Doing a mental shrug, he continues searching for the kitchen, and as luck would have it, find the kitchen. "Now, what do we have to work with?"

"Oatmeal it is." he muttered into his beard (slowly building a picture for all of you.) as he grabbed a bag of oats. "Someone get some water. Warm is better, but whatever you can get. Does anyone see any sugar? How about some cinamon? Add some flavor to it. Plain oatmeal is disgusting."

"Oh jeez, grandpops." Laura stopped strumming for a second only to point inside the ship. "If we will just enter the kitchen, surely there's some kitcheny stuffs in there." she grinned and began strumming once more. She looked around at the people around them and smiled.

"Hello miss..."

Laura looked at the source of the voice only to find a toned man with a gun, she raised an eyebrow and continued playing her instrument, "Bonjour! Would you mind helping me and mister Connor cook something called oakmeal? Otameal? What?" she smiled sheepishly as she looked for the exact word.

@everyone that is near Laura and co. @Azulium @Beowulf
