Fantasy Supernatural Strangers

"Hey, that person threw a fork at me first. He deserved it." she pointed out, watching as her friend got off the one couch as she explained what happened with the newbies. Yep, they had their minds boggled for sure! "Eh, nah. After the trial and after im clear, I'm gonna head out, grab new clothes from home, and come back later on to help you pick out a dress. Hell, I might buy you one!" because why the hell not? Gotta make her look beautiful in front of Chris. Make him turn into a funny blushy mess as he checks out his new girlfriend in a cute dress. She got off the couch as well and followed her, still munching away "How about you shower and change into something far better than me? After all, it is a trial and you gotta look the part." she walked over and gently nudged her with a giggle "About the silent brothers... Well you did tell me they were brothers who were obviously silent... And they were a little odd. I think that's all I need to know. Just as long as they dont go and pour rivane on me or down my throat, I think we'll all be good friends." she munched on another frito "Listen," Roje leaned up against the dresser and watched Alex "I got no questions as far as im conserned. Should I be scared of them? Should I be shaking in my boots? Are they chill or are they serious and stuck up?" then she paused and a expression of realiszation plated on her face "Huh, I guess I do have questions about the brothers."

Then she looked at Alex again "Are they cute? Even though they're a little creepy? Do they look like they're pale with black eye bags?" then she groaned "Why am I asking so much questions? Sorry if I'm boring you. I guess I cant help but be curious because lets face it, what kind of brothers have the name of "The Silent brothers" where people fear said brothers? As far as I knew, I knew none. But now I do so...Cant say I never heard such a thing." She dug her hand into the bag once more but realised there wasnt anything left but crumbs which made her pout and bring the bag to her lips, pouring the rest of the contents into her mouth and folding up the bag, the crunching of it getting less and less with each fold. Maybe Roje was just excited to head out? Go into the world again and breathe in fresh air and avoid all hospitals and cemetaries and whatever else at all costs till she as strong enough. Which shouldnt take long according to her since she was gonna work on that later...or maybe in the week.

"well I mean I guess he did deserve it then. A shadowhunter should know better then to try to intimidate a vampire. Must've been one of the newbies, i'll have to talk to them about it later. Knock some heads a little bit and cause some trouble." Th shadowhunter laughed. The newbies seemed to to have a bit of an attitude and a strong superiority complex. Alex would have to knock some sense into the new recruits. But that could be dealt with later. They'd learn, it would just take some time. "Alright, sounds good. Just know that you're welcome to my clothes if you want them. Allow the majority of them are black. So sorry for the lack of choices. I just wear whats best for hunting or undercover work. I really don't have that may options. Although, I do own like twenty pairs of black skinny jeans. Got have the staples." The girl shrugged and got up. "You're right, I should probably shower again and change. I'm a bit sweaty right now. But I mean that comes with being a hunter. Although it's probably not very nice to be around. Probably smells pretty terrible, especially for someone with a super scent such as yourself. Don't worry I'll shower in a minute." The girl listened to the vampire talk and ask an array of questions that ranged from their looks to what they were like. "Yes you should be scared, they're extremely powerful people, they're hunters that have progressed their powers beyond the point of normal hunters. Not only that, but they are telepathic due to their choice of closing their mouths." She laughed when the vampire began to talk about them being cute. "They are definitely not attractive in anyway, they're relatively creepy. The black eyes thing is accurate though most of them tend to keep their eyes closed because it somehow increases their powers. I'm not sure exactly how it works, but that's because it's a silent brother secret." The hunter shrugged her shoulders and disappeared into the common room for a second. When the brunette returned, she threw a granola bar and an apple in the vampires direction, figuring that her reflexes were fast enough to catch them. "They're not chips. But that's the best I can do. I have a stash of food in the cabinet next to the fridge just so you know. Though I don't have any blood up here. Anyway I'm going to get into the shower. I'll be back."

After finished the discussion with Roje, the shadowhunter disappeared into the bathroom, showering for a second time that morning. "Sometimes I hate being a shadowhunter. It can be really gross." However, the sweat was nothing compared to the demon blood and other things that they ended up getting covered in. She hopped in, scrubbed her body down with her grapefruit body wash and strawberry facial scrub. After her shampoo and conditioner had been washed from her hair, Alex hopped out of the shower and wrapped a big fluffy towel around her hair and wrapped herself in her bathrobe after throwing on some underwear. Having returned to her room, she sat down on the bed. "Alright. So what should I wear for my trail then? If I have to "look the part" as you say." She laughed. "No one at the institute is normally worried about what we look like, just that we presented ourselves in a appropriate, well composed manner. We're the leaders of the shadow world. We're expected to just look responsible and powerful." She laughed. "Although I'd say it's pretty difficult for a girl that's just over five feet and less than one hundred and thirty pounds to look intimidating. So do your magic I guess." She smirked and waited for the vampire to play dress up.

@Britt-21

Ah, alright, so she should be scared. Hearing that they're extremely powerful people and that power was far greater than the average hunter, Well it was good to know. Not to mention they had black eyes so that was a bigger turn off. Well it was nice to know all that she needed to know. "Thanks for telling me, now I know I wont have the hots for those brothers then." she joked, watching as Alex left and came back with a granola bar and an apple by tossing it towards her. With ease, the vampire caught both items "Eh, dont worry. I think these will be just plenty." with that, she opened up the granola bar and began to eat it. Watching as she headed to the bathroom to shower. During that time, Roje was picking up the various smells between her shampoo&Conditioner, as well as her grapefruit body wash and her strawberry facial scrub. "Damn, Alex. Are you making a fruit bowl in there?!" she called out, finishing up the granola bar and watched as she came in with a robe "Oh? Should I look sexy for this occassion too?" Yeah, Roje was just a big joker, it was obvious. Plus the smile on Alex's face had granted her accomplishment. "I got ya." she then got off the bed and let Alex sit down and ask about what she should wear since she had to 'look the part'  about the Trial. "Well, you gotta look the Part, Alex. Or at least close to it." then the vampire moved to the closet and looked through it "Dont worry about the whole black situation. I like black as you can tell with my black jeans, my boots and my leather jacket."

With that, she pulled out black jeans for Alex, and looked for a shirt "When going to trials, you'd be expected to wear something...not so casual like me." she then pulled out a white blouse "This, looks cute." she turned to Alex and presented it to her "Wear a white tank top underneath if it's too thin and you're good to go. Your hair you could just throw up in a bun or something, any hairstyle would look good on you." she shrugged and brought it over, handing both the black skinny jeans and the blouse to her "You can change into these, and we'll see what you got for shoes. I promise I wont make you wear heels. Unless that is the only thing in your closet." At least someone can look good for her, cause clearly, right now, Roje wasnt looking too hot. Except her hair which was nicely brushed. "I'll stand out in the common room while you get dressed." with that, she headed to the common room and plopped her butt down on the couch, leaning back and calling out to her "Hey, did you talk to your brother? Is he taking care of your date for tonight?"

"Sorry Roje but these goods are a luxury item." The Shadowhunter laughed. "Not just anyone gets to view the goods." Alex blushed lightly as she said this, in all honesty she had never even gone past kissing a guy, and that had been when she was very young and the whole situation had been a dare put on by her human friend at the time. Humans were quite odd, and so were the games they played at parties. Spin the bottle? Why did the bottle determine who she had to kiss? And seen minutes in heaven? It seemed rather odd to the hunter that humans locked themselves in the closet in the dark for a timed period. It seemed pointless to her, but then again the hunter didn't know the real reason that humans played these games. Alex had never had an actual steady boyfriend, and therefore had absolutely no experience when it came to anything of that nature, unlike her brother who had been know around the institute and even in idris as a bit of a playboy. But the brunette was definitely not going to admit this to her new vampire friend. The last thing she needed was to be teased about it and god forbid if Roje told Chris. She wouldn't be able to look him in the eyes ever again! She'd never be able to live with that embarrassment. "I'm not getting sexy. You simply said that I needed to pick out an outfit, therefore it is pointless for me to get dressed into something else before we pick it. Correct?" Hoping that she had moved the subject away from her being barely clothed, the hunter watched as Roje swiftly moved around her room, picking out an outfit for her to wear.

Black jeans and a white blouse, well that wasn't too bad. Not too girly, and it was still definitely in her comfort zone for clothing. Alex was just glad that the vampire hadn't picked anything skimpy for her to wear. She had to wear such clothes on undercover missions, most of which involved trying to get information from a warlock or a faerie, but Alex had never been very good at playing the mysterious, sexy part that it required. None the less, there were a few questionable outfits i her closet for those such reasons, which luckily, Roje had chosen to ignore. "Alright that seems good. Casual would have been fine though. We dress to be practical, not to impress those around us. Most of the time at least." There were a few female shadowhunters that chose to do all their fighting in high heels,and while Alex did wear them on occasions that did not involve fighting, she didn't know how they could possibly run in heels, let along fight in them. No, the shadowhunter much preferred her ratty old combat boots for when she went on missions. They had become a bit of a staple for her when she went on missions. Suddenly, Roje left the room and Alex realized she had been getting lost in her own thoughts once again. "oops." the girl whispered to herself as she began to change into the new outfit. "No I totally forgot to talk to my brother about it. In fact, now that I think about it, I don't think Chris has any idea where he's supposed to be picking me up from. Oops. Do you mind texting him to tell him to meet me at my brothers? I hope he doesn't find that weird. After all, I'm pretty sure he knows that I don't live with Dean."

@Britt-21

"Or I could take you to his house. It's not too difficult to do, and I dont really have anything to do today." the vampire said, leaning back against the couch and putting her feet up on the coffee table and looking towards the high celing. "Chris is pretty understanding, so you should be okay with any excuse you give him." her eyes shut and her ears began to pick up all the sounds coming from around her, the sounds of three heartbeats, two outside of the suite and one inside Alex's  room which had been obviously hers. All of a sudden, a chill ran up her spine and she shivered slightly. That was odd, she never had a chill in a long long time. Why did she all of a sudden have one? "That's odd..." she muttered, lifting her head and opening her eyes, raising from the couch and walking around. Maybe it was just something getting to her for once. Was she actually scared of the trial? Or was itt he sword that the brothers were going to bring that would make her spew out the truth. She never let anything get to her this bad, and that was saying something "Alex, I'm actually pretty scared." Roje admitted, looking towards the bedroom "To know I'll be holding a sword of truth. But I know im not guilty of anything, so why I'm scared? I have no fucking idea."

She then moved to Alex's room door and pressed her forehead to it. "You told me if I dont resist the sword, I'll be fine. Which I believe you. And you say the brothers will only ask me the questions relevant to the attack on that stray hunter and bitchie. They cant be manipulated either which eases my worries some. Maybe it's because I never actually went to trial? Getting a human adrenaline rush which I never had ever since I learned how to control everything. Maybe I'm just being a baby with this." Roje was strong. She was a warrior. There was no need for her to be afraid of a silly Trial. The vampire had this in the bag. "I'm going to settle this..." she muttered before suddenly vanishing from the room, leaving the apple and searching for the court room. Which she found instantly, standing inside and seeing the brothers and that sword that held the power to force the truth out of her. When questioned of course. "Well she wasnt kidding.." she muttered, remarking about the brothers looking scary as crap. Roje moved towards where she would probably need to stand and thus, stood there, holding her hand out "I'm ready to get this show on the road. The sword and you can start questioning me." her eyes darted between all the brothers, looking at how similar they looked but also so different. Their heartbeats were regular, and their blood flowed perfectly well in their veins.

Roje was obviously getting extremely nervous about the trial, and Alex couldn't blame here. It was a scary thing, getting judged in front of everyone and it would determine a lot about what would happen to her future. If she was found guilty, which Alex believed there was no possible way she would be, they'd take her to the city of bones to either be imprisoned or executed. That posed a great problem for the vampire and her inability to be near the dead, the walls were made out of shadowhunter bones for god sake! The hunter took a deep breathe, there was no way they'd actually find her guilty, she and the vampire had nothing to worry about. She just had to convince Roje of that. It certainly didn't seem like it was going to be easy. Alex was finishing changing when Roje completely started to freak out about the trial. She believed what Alex said which was good, but it was obvious that she was still on edge. Hopefully the hunter could do something to ease her doubts. "Roje, the trial will go fine, I doubt you'll have to deal with the silent brother for more than twenty minutes-" As Alex was trying to calm her friend, the door slammed and Roje was gone, going to get the trial with over. They weren't ready for them yet, otherwise they would have been called. Or maybe roje had sensed people coming to get them? Either way Alex had to make sure the vampire was alright, and that she was "Guarded" to ease the stress of the other hunters in the institute. So, Alex threw on a pair of shoes and ran after the vampire and down to the trial.

Dean had made his way from Chris's house a short time before the trial was supposed to start, wanting to be there to support both Roje and his sister. The silent brothers were a big deal, even to him. Once the werewolf had reached the institute and had been cleared with the guards that kept watch over the front door, a process he was definitely not used to doing. Had he still been a shadowhunter, more so had he not been bitten, he would have been able to just walk straight inside. However, this was not currently the case. Having passed security, he greeted a few of the other shadowhunters that had worked under him while he was the head of the institute, and made his way to where the trial was going to be held. Dean found a nice pillar in the back corner to lean against, getting a complete view of the trial and everything else going on in the large room. It would be better to be out of the way and not draw attention to himself, after all a downworlder attending a trial was not common if they were not the one being tried. Not only that, but admittingly the silent brothers creeped him out a bit.

Just when Dean thought he was going to be stuck waiting for a while longer, there was a chill the came over the room. "Well, they've definitely arrived." The silent brothers had just entered the room, seeming to glide over the smooth stone floor, as they made their way to the center of the room, and the platform where the trial would take place. There were three brothers, two on either side of the man holding the truth sword in the center, guarding him from a near impossible attack. Their gray cloaks dragged on the floor as they slowly made their way across the room, the two guards with their eyes completely shut, and the brother in the center with his black eyes stone cold and facing straight ahead. The wolf felt a shiver go through his entire body as the brothers took the attention of every single person in the room. They knew how to make an entrance that was for sure. They also knew how to make the hairs on the back of the werewolf's neck stand straight up... They finally had made it to the middle of the room and place the sword in its display, when the vampire in question rushed into the room. "Oh god, nice way to make an entrance Roje..." The girl was in what looked like blood soaked clothes and she looked as if she was running from a ghost. Roje was pale even for a vampire. It was obvious that the trial was getting to her. Alex however, wasn't in sight. "Where the hell did my sister run off to?" He muttered to himself, it certainly looked bad to the brothers if Alex was letting the vampire run around on her own while her character was under question. However, Dean didn't have much time to think about it because one of the silent brothers began to speak, Dean knew him as brother Matthew, and the room was filled with his deep, booming voice.

"State your name." The silent brother and his company turned toward the vampire who had made her way to the center of the room. The vampire had already begun to try to push the process along, but the brothers were always one to follow the ancient rules that a trial with the sword of truth entailed. "You have come before the silent brothers to be tried for the murder of Henry Blackwall in cold blood. The sword of truth will reveal all." The man spoke, yet his mouth was not moving, it being sewn shut, still his voice was being projected and filled the entirety of the large room, as if his voice was coming from all directions. Slowly, the silent brother moved across the platform, to where the sword of truth was being displayed. He picked it up, holding it gently by both the hilt and the sword's edge and made his way back over to the girl. "Are you ready? The silent brothers shall bear witness to the Trial of Roje. We will discover your true intentions the night you murdered one of our own. What say you in defense?" The man held the sword out for Roje to take with both hands, ready to place the sword into the shaking vampire's grasp.

@Britt-21

Of course there was plenty of hunters standing around and staring at her. Not that she minded crowds but holy shit the stares were annoying. Her senses picked up the smell of wet dog and knew instantly who that had been. The wolf that saved her, the wolf that got her caught. Dean. Of course he'd be watching her trial too... Then, the brother told her to state her name, thus she nodded and spoke "Roje Jenkins." she said, watching the creepy brother move, still speaking without his lips even moving. Alex was right, they were special...and creepy. Her adrenaline had been running through her vampire veins, causing her hands to shake. Why did his voice bring fear into her? Like if she was being beheaded right now? The brother turned towards her with the sword at hand, approaching her and holding it out. The vampire took a deep breath "I know I'm innocent." she said before taking the sword gently from his hands with her own shaky ones. It was fear that was settling in. She closed her eyes, trying to accept the sword, but the opposite effect happened. Roje had been so afraid that she was putting a defense system on. Crying out in pain as it sent the strongest pain she's felt in ages. Far worse than her ghost problem. She fell to her knees, her hands still gripping the sword but her body had been trembling. It was okay. She could tell them. It had nothing to do with the secret. The pain was so strong and had her in pain for a little while

Its okay...come on..just accept the sword... the vampire gritted her teeth, the pain no longer around to hurt her..yet. She could feel the eyes of the brothers burning into her skull as she refused to look at them. Roje had to convince herself that it all had been about the hunter, nothing more. This sword was to find out the truth that day. Her eyes slowly opened as she looked at the sword, trying to regulate her breathing before something grasped her mind, making her speak the truth. Finally, she had embraced the sword before it were to hurt her once again. "That evening I was hanging out at a bar, knowing I had been followed by something...or someone" Roje guessed this was how the sword worked...had to mention things from start to the deed that was done. "I knew for about over a week I was being followed by a hunter who stalked my every move for the week... He didnt make his own move till this night. He came out from behind some cover and pulled out his weapon to try to kill me and before he could attack, I attacked him first. If I hadnt attacked, and if I hadn't known, I would have died too." she completely admitted before going silent again and thus, her mind was returned, but she looked up at the brother "Ask me more questions. I have a hell of a lot more information you might want to know." she was going to fully clear her name, her hands gripped tightly onto the sword, and luckily not using her strength to hurt the blade in any way. Aside from getting herself cut from the blade and still trembling. Her blood dripped onto the floor, but she cared not. Roje was willing to tell them everything that has happened with Kate ever since she arrived.

The pain and the torture she had gone through just to await this trial. The rivane that burned her insides, made her weak enough to barely walk and stay awake. "I want to tell you far more." she wanted to tell them that she could be a possible asset to their insitiute. Do the dirty work as a vampire, avoid being killed really. Working to help these people. Despite how stuck up and rude they were. She could be a secret agent or something. Enough about that, she was ready to be questioned big time about this.

(Im winging this, im sorry if its bad)

(It's okay haha, you're doing fine i don't expect or want it to be like totally perfect)

"We shall see just how innocent you are." The man put his hands to his sides when Roje took the sword from and did not react when the woman fell to her knees in front of him, it was obvious that she was not simply giving in to the will of the sword. When the woman regained her composure, the silent brother spoke again. "Roje Jenkins. You admit that you killed a shadowhunter. Yet you claim it was self defense." The man scanned the room for anyone that dared object, but everyone was too scared to speak up. The silent brothers were beyond intimidating, even for those that killed demons for a living. "The sword has not responded. Therefore I must believe that you are telling the truth." The silent brother scanned the room and his eyes fell on Alex as she walked in. As the shadowhunter made her way to the base of the platform, he motioned to her before turning back to the vampire and continuing the questioning. "This woman claims that the shadowhunter that attacked you, was not assigned to do so, that he was not assigned to track you. Is this true? And if so, who was the one that assigned him to the task. What were they after?" The man paced back and forth on the platform, creating an even more eery feeling in the room. "Do not resist the sword, as you have felt, it will only get worse the more you resist, the more you lie. The sword shall uncover the truth." The two shadowhunters that had been guarding the sword, shifted their stance and nodded towards the brother that was interrogating the poor shaking vampire.

(Sorry it's short, I just cant do much without her answering first haha)

(It's great tbh, you're actually making me creeped out like roje xDD)

Roje looked around, happy that no one had objected and the trial proceeded. That was till she heard the sounds of doors opening and she looked back, seeing her friend walk through the door and she offered her a soft and apologetic smile before returning her gaze up to the brother while losing her smile. His statement had followed a question, to which she willingly accepted to answer because it had to do with Bitchie and what she had done. But the question had been "What were they after?" they were after the information she held, regarding Shadow Kissed vampires. Roje accepted the sword once again, but was going to put up a fight if it came to her secret being leaked out. "This information is indeed, correct. The woman who assigned this, was Kate. A hunter who tortured me with Rivane. She was after the information I held about being a sha-" thats when she resisted. And the pain had hit her like a train, Alex wasnt kidding when she said if you resist the sword, it was painful. Not to mention that it got worse over time the more the person resisted. Roje took a moments rest, glad that the sword let the person who had been holding it, actually recover from the pain. I got this...I just need to think... What is the best way to tell this brother without others hearing? oh how she wished Alex could at least be next to her so she could relax her trembling bones. It was amazing how a vampire as strong as Roje, was afraid of a Hunter who's power was greater than the common hunters.

Then, a plan came to her, she had to whisper it to him, she couldnt blurt it out to the world. So she shakily rose up to her feet anf stepped closer to the brother. Leaning close, but turning her head to the side of his and she whispered into his ear "Shadow Kissed Vampire. A species that are only created by Vampires that hold the magic called "Spirit"." the only person who could possibly hear was Dean. Her body continued to tremble as she informed the brother. Being this close to him was giving her more fear than it had when he was standing nearby. When she knew that the sword would not make her talk, she backed from the brother, still holding the sword "That information stays between us... I refuse to let it fall on human ears. Especially hunters" she actually had the guts to say that to a silent brother. But she was desprate. If a hunter other than Alex found out, she'd have a bounty on her head for "Who could kill the rare vampire." even though they had rules and regulations, some could rebel and try to go after her, making her life, hell. The sword released her and allowed her to talk freely...for the moment."The blood stains and yellowish stains that you see on my shirt, is my blood and rivane. That was one way to force the information out." not that her words from outside the sword really mattered, no one would think she was saying the truth or lying, just to get out. "Not that you'd believe me unless you made the sword make me talk." stop getting so cocky!!!

The silent brother paused for a moment. It was very unusual for the person being tried to whisper the answer to a brother. In fact, no one ever got as close to them as Roje just had. Because of this, the whole room had fallen completely silent, watching for the brother's action. Yet, he simply paused to listen and then continued without a second thought. "This Kate was indeed brought to us late in the night, to be tried for commiting treason against the clave as well as the entire shadowhunter community." The man stepped away from Roje for a moment, staring into the crowd. "The woman this vampire mentioned has indeed committed horrible acts against the shadowhunter world. She will be severely punished for what she had done." He slowly glided back toward the vampire in question. His misshapen, long hand moved from his side and towards Roje, brushing his hand against her face and moving back her hair. At the same time his eyes glazed over, a gray film now covering his solid black eyes. He saw the entire event of the night before, how Roje had been treated, and how Alex had come to save her. The man's eyes went back to their blacken state and he stepped back. "Roje Jenkins." The man was staring at her, but his face was completely blank of emotion, causing the vampire to shift uneasily in her spot. "Though it is true that you did kill one of our own. You will be cleared of all charges, due to the fact that they were not acting under clave order." He took the sword from her hands and walk back towards the other two brothers. "I suggest." His voice was back at a normal volume, but it was still hard and chilling to the bone. "You do not make a habit of mixing yourself up in our kind." With that, the silent brothers repositioned themselves in the formation they had come in and slowly made their exit, the room of hunters parted as they walked towards them.

@Britt-21

Roje watched the Brother, watching as he explained Kate will be severely punished for her actions. That put the vampire at some ease but the fact that he turned back to her after looking at the people in the room, she felt chills run up her spine again. The brothers were not ones to be looked at as much as she was looking. Even with their black eyes it was just so creepy! He approached her and his hand lifted up towards her face. What he was going to do? She had no idea. But the vampire held her breath, feeling his hand brush her face and push her brown hair behind her ear. She watched as his eyes glossed over with a gray film. Whatever he was doing, she couldnt stop it. Her feet were nailed to the floor, her body was stiff and her breath had been held. Fear was getting close to its peak before the brother finally backed off, his eyes going back to the way they were and his expression still blank at ever. Putting the vampire in more of the fear zone, did he actually think she was guilty? It had to be. His look may have been blank, but she felt such a bad vibe off of him. Then, he spoke, saying her name and pausing before speaking once again. The wave of relief washed over her. To know that she was safe, that she was clear of all charges. But, he made sure to tell her not to mix herself up with his kind. The hunters. "...Y-Yeah..." she said in a mutter, allowing him to take the sword back and her hands healing back up. She wiped her hands on her black jeans and watched as the three brothers headed out, the courtroom now no longer holding the strong souls.

The hunters departed too and the first thing to do was talk with Alex, using her speed and Slamming into Alex, hugging her tightly and burying her face into her shoulder, her body trembling from the overwhelming about of adrenaline that was keeping her from breaking down entirely "I'm so glad you came in when you did." she said, taking a deep breath and pulling away to look at Alex "I thought I could push this quicker by getting here early but doing that settled fear into my body. You were right, they were not pretty...they were scary." she laughed a little, trying to calm her shaking hands "Their presence was so strong... I didnt think I would be scared of three silent brothers. Out of all things, right?" it was obvious that she was joking around and trying to lighten the mood. "Anyway, lets get out of here. I think their presence still lingers, even when they arent in the room." then she remembered the smell of Dean in the room. Roje looked around and then looked back to Alex "Your brother was here too, Alex. He still is...I smell him.." though, as much as she called him a mutt, at this very moment, she was struggling a little bit to get her barings. She just needed an hour or two and she'd be back to her normal, smartas and joking self.

Alex was completely knocked off guard, not expecting the distressed vampire to come slamming into her chest. The girl wrapped her arms around her and had her in almost a complete death grip. "Whoa." The shadowhunter tried to stabilize herself before reciprocating the hug. "Sh, don't worry, it's alright. Everything is fine. I know they're scary but it's okay, the trial is over and done with now. Hopefully you'll never have to be around them again. Believe me I know how freaky they are." Slowly, the vampire began to calm her breathing and she pulled away reluctantly from the hunter. The interaction had obviously shaken her, and Alex really couldn't say she would've acted any different. Luckily though, Roje seemed to slowly be returning to her sarcastic self. Although after an interaction like that, it would take some time to get back to normal. "I really wish you would have waited for me, but I understand why you did what you did. It may have not been the smartest move." The hunter laughed a little, trying to lighten the mood. "But I mean you did get it over and done with faster. I guess you did accomplish your goal." Alex stood quietly as she watched her friend try to stop her hands from shaking, unsure how to help. "We should get you back some place quiet where you can calm down. The shaking will stop, it's just a reaction from being around such a strong presence. It's always like that. Just be happy you're not in the city of bones. It's home to almost one hundred silent brothers, so needless to say the feeling you're having right now, it's constant." Alex stopped abruptly, realizing she was probably not helping her friend by discussing even more scary senerios. Luckily though, she was saved by her brother coming over, hopefully he'd be able to lighten the mood. He had always been good at make her feel better at the very least, so maybe he could do something for Roje.

The wolf had begun to slowly make his way through the exiting crowd, trying to make his way over to his sister and to Roje. He wanted to make sure that they were both doing alright. The both of them had had a pretty eventful and scary night, and it was obvious that today hadn't been any easier for his new vampire friend. After a few moments, Dean finally pushed his way through the last group of gossiping shadowhunters and made it to his friends. "Jeez Roje, you look like you got hit by a bus. And why are you covered in dried blood? Did Alex not have the decency to offer you some clean ones? Honestly Alex, I thought I raised you better than that." The werewolf was trying his best to ignore the ominous tone in the room to cheer up his friend, who was still half shaking in his sister's arms. "You looked like you were gonna throw up on him up there. I was beginning to think I should start taking bets on whether you puked on the crowd or one Brother Matthew. I wonder how a silent brother would react to be up chucked on, I can't imagine that it would go over to well." But it was obviously time to stop with all the jokes, between his sister elbowing him hard in his rib cage and Roje looking sicker by the minute, the best course of action would probably be to get the two of them out of there. Especially because there was a group forming, gawking at the vampire and his sister. Roje looked as if she could barely hold herself up on her own, let alone make it all the way back up to Alex's room by herself, so the werewolf swiftly piked her up from the back of her knees and under her armpits. "Now don't complain. I don't need you passing out on the way up all those stairs, and I don't want to hear that I stink of wolf either. You're going to have to deal with it for a few minutes." Once again, Dean found himself carrying the vampire to safety, he was hoping she wouldn't make a habit of needing him or Alex to come to the rescue, but for right now she just needed to get some place quiet. The werewolf held the girl against his chest and he and his sister made their way back up to her suite.

@Britt-21

It was nice that Alex was actually trying to cheer the vampire up. "You really like trying to cheer me up, Alex..." that was till Dean walked over and she turned her attention to him. Rolling her eyes as he remarked about her looking like she got hit by a bus. Well that was nice to say to someone who just got touched by a creepy ass Silent brother. Then he scolded Alex  for not giving her new clothes "I decided to stay in these clothes, so dont scold her for it, mutt." then he began to worry about her and actually said it looked like she was going to upchuck on the brother and that almost made her facepalm. How could he have had such a thought like that? Was her trial really just a joke to him? While she was losing herself in her thoughts, she was suddenly scooped up and was now being held bridal style by Dean who said he didnt need her complaining or passing out on the way to his sister's room. Nor did he have to hear that he smelt like wet dog. This made Roje roll her eyes again "I'm not a princess, Dean." she then looked at Alex as he headed out with both Roje in his arms and Alex following nearby. The vampire looked back up towards Dean, despite him smelling like wet dog...he was alright. Saved her once, was with her when she saved him before being captured, and then now..he was carrying her. Her bones had been slowly stopping with the trembling and was starting to Relax now. Her color slowly returning to her face. "Look, as much as I like being carried by a guy, I would much rather prefer not to be carried." she wanted to get out of his arms but at the same time, she didnt want to.

She then tried to get out of his grasp, but she felt his hands tighten around where they had been in the first place "You fucker." she narrowed her eyes at him "You just refuse to let me go." she groaned and just plopped her head up against his shoulder, really not wanting to fight about with being carried at this point. The vampire sighed and just closed her eyes "We really need to avoid you carrying me. This is the second time already." she said.

(This is super bad because my cousin is here...baby cousin...rude baby cousin....)

"For not liking to be picked up or carried, you certainly get yourself into a lot of damsel in distress situations. I mean how many times have I had to get you out of a sticky situation so far?" Although Dean didn't completely take all the credit for getting Roje out of the situation of being hunted, Alex had indeed done most of the work from the inside, Dean had still been the one to get Alex to help the vampire in the first place. He had also saved her from certain death when she had gotten herself trapped inside the graveyard the first night they had met. Although, he had to admit that it had partially his fault that she had ended up there in the first place. "Believe me Roje, I know better than anyone that you are definitely not a princess, but I thought that you would appreciate me carrying you like this, rather than like a sack of potatoes over my shoulder. I've been told-" The man glanced at his sister as they were walked and chuckled a bit, "That it's a bit uncomfortable to be carried that way. I'm doing you a favor." He readjusted her in his arms when she began to try to wiggle out of his arms. They were currently climbing up the stairs, and it was pretty stupid of her to try it at the moment. "Listen, unless you want to fall straight on your ass and then possibly fly down the stairs, would you please stay fucking still? Just deal with it until we get to Alex's room and then I'll put you down." The man sighed and rolled his eyes, she should be thanking him, not making things more difficult. The vampire had looked like she was going to faint down on the main floor after her trial, he was only trying to help her out.

Finally, they reached his sister's room and he could put the vampire, who was doing a good job of being a pain in his ass, down on her own two feet. "You're welcome." The werewolf chuckled as he finally released Roje from his grip. "You know, I wouldn't make a habit of causing such a stir in the institute, its not often that we have to call the silent brothers all the way from the city of bones for a trial. Specifically a trial of a downworlder." Dean knew that the vampire probably hadn't meant to cause him or any of the other shadowhunters any trouble, but it was always good to make sure she knew. "Letting downworlders into the institute, well its almost as bad as letting a human into here." With that remark, he glanced at his sister, who was obviously choosing to ignore him. Hopefully Alex would never be stupid enough to let Chris in here, she could get herself in some real trouble by doing so. "Anyway, I'm going to assume that night wasn't completely horrible, or at least you two bonded somewhat. Considering when Alex first came into contact with you she was trying to kill you and now you're apparently staying in her room with her. You know I think you're the only person that's ever had the luxury of being in this room, besides me. Alex never did get much action." Dean laughed teasingly and smirked at his sister. But then he grew more serious. "I expect it to stay that way after tonight. I'll murder Chris if he tries anything with you, whether it's reciprocated or not. It's your first date so he better be the perfect fucking gentleman."

Alex was walking silently next to the two bickering individuals, laughing as they made snide comments towards each other. The two of them really were a pair, they definitely fulfilled the vampire versus werewolf stereotype, that was for sure. However with all the teasing and the comments, Alex couldn't help but wonder if there was more to it. Dean had never been one for falling for one girl, or relationships in general. He never showed interest in anyone, the only time Alex had ever met any of his "girlfriends" was when they were sneaking out of his room early in the morning or vice versa. It was interesting to see him actually acting like himself in front of a girl, and not spending his time around them trying to get in their pants. She loved her brother, but sometimes he was more than a little bit of a pain to deal with. A lot of the time the women that he slept with ended up being people Alex had to work with, so this was definitely a nice change. Although, just because Dean was being his version of nice to this girl didn't necessarily mean that he was interested in her. Maybe he was just acting this way because he knew that Roje was her friend. Only time would be able to tell.

They reached Alex's suite and the shadowhunter walked up and unlocked the door for her two friends, letting them inside. The two of them were still bickering back and forth, but it seemed playful at least. Suddenly though, Dean's attention was turned towards the shadowhunter, and Alex groaned as a a reaction to it. "Thanks Bro, good on making me look like a loser in front of my friend, I know you like to tease me and all, but if you could not make me look like a total shut in that'd be great." She rolled her eyes and plopped down on one of the couches in the common room. "Also, what I do in my free time, especially my romantic free time is absolutely none of your business, and as my brother, you talking about it is entirely just really really gross." Hopefully that would end that subject there, unless Dean decided to push it further, which knowing him he probably would.

@Britt-21

Roje was just about to punch him with his remarks but they finally got to Alex's suite. He placed her down and she nodded "yeah yeah, thanks." she waved her hand and moved to the couch, plopping herself down and looking at the mutt. "Alex is my best friend. One of those I can really trust. Just like Chris." she informed Dean, listening as he practically threatened to murder Chris which made her narrow her eyes "Mutt, Chris is the nicest man that Alex can ever have. You have no idea how he is. He actually cares. Before you can murder him, I'll be the one to defend him." her attention turned to Alex who spoke to dean and actually snapped at him a little bit "Eh, you're not a shut in to me, Alex. You're not a loser either, hell, you're are far greater than a loser, you helped save my ass from probably being killed." The vampire told her, giving her a reassuring smile, actually falling back into her usual personality now. The air was thinner and made things far easier to say what she wanted "Now, as for you," she pointed to Dean and gave him a look before speeding right into his face, her eyes locking with his "Dont give Alex such a hard time. She's safe in Chris's hands and she doesnt need stress from you." Roje was back to her usual self, being all badass and very hot looking just as she always did in an outfit such as this,...despite the bloodstains. "I'm coming back tonight and I'm going to pick out a dress for her to wear. If i hear that you've been bothering her, I will kick you out and treat her quite nicely."

Heck, tonight, she was going to make sure that Chris's and Alex's date went as smooth as possible. She'd stalk but watch from a distance and blend in as much as possible. And if she ran into dean...well then..things were going to get interesting! (hint hint) Roje wanted to see what kind of comeback he would actually say to her. What he'd threaten her with because that's how werewolves were. They had a temper and quite a threatning mouth. Her eyebrow twitched as a smirk made its way onto her lips and her eyebrow slowly raised, putting her hands on her hips and trying to intimidate the larger male. "Well, are you going to just stand there or are you gonna speak?" Roje was tempting him. Just to see what he would do "Vampire got your tongue?" her adrenaline rush had finally vanished and she was no longer trembling.

"Listen little girl, Alex and I have both saved your ass more than once over the last few days, I don't think that there's anything that you can say that would scare me. I've taken on far scarier than a silly little vampire in my day, so come back when you're scarier than staring a demon straight in the eyes without a weapon." He chuckled and rolled his eyes. "If you think that you scare me, well than you've got a lot to learn. You're still a newbie to our world vampire. You've got a lot to learn and will need a lot of experience before you get to my level. A little baby vampire isn't shit in this world. But if you'd like to find out who is really better, I'd be happy to take you up on that offer." The man winked at Roje, obviously trying to push her buttons. "Besides, I'm not stressing my sister out, I'm simply stating what my reaction would be if I found out that Chris hurt her. Yes I'm sure Chris is sweet and nice and all that, after all I don't dislike the guy. But, he's just that, a guy. All guys pull shit. It's our job. We're supposed to piss off women, it's kind of our thing." Dean smirked and got even closer to the vampire "I'd say I'm doing a pretty good job of that right now aren't I? Whats the matter? Can't take someone being just as stubborn and quick witted as you? Well that sucks, cause if you're going be best friends with Alex that means that you're going to have to deal with me and my smart mouth all the time." Dean definitely liked her attitude, it was actually really amusing to him that there was someone that was willing to stand up to him and get in his face like this. Of course, the werewolf had no plan of backing down, but it would definitely be nice to have a challenge every once and a while. Alex had given up arguing with him a long time ago, and she was one of the only people Dean actually listened to.

Alex sat with wide eyes as the vampire and werewolf sized each other up in her common room. Things had gone from amusing and light hearted teasing to a full out power struggle. This was definitely not what she had been expecting, that was for sure. The shadowhunter had been hoping for some calm moments before her date with Chris and after the trial, but of course as usual, Dean had come and started trouble. Although, Roje had been the one to originally provoke him... God these two's relationship was weird, she couldn't tell if they just needed to kiss and get it over with, or if this really was the vampire versus werewolf fighting instinct for the both of them. Maybe it was a mixture of both? Alex wasn't sure exactly what was going on, but either way she was a bit frightened. No one had stood up to Dean like this in years and she was quite interested on how it was going to play out...

(Sorry didn't quite know what to post for Alex)

@Britt-21

Roje absolutely hated it when she was called 'little girl' or a 'little baby vampire'. In fact, it actually bugged the vampire greatly. Her smirk faded and her face turned serious, hearing his remarks and his cocky attitude coming through that werewolf-threatning shell of his. "No, I cant take someone being stubborn and quick witted as me."  and the fact that if she hung out with Alex, he would be around to bust her chops and probably piss her off. "Know what, if you wanna test your strength, meet me at my place tonight. I'll take you on. Show you what this baby vampire can do." forget stalking Chris and Alex. She stepped even closer to Dean, her face not even inches from his anymore. Their noses actually brushed slightly against eachother "We'll see who's the baby then." she stepped away and looked at Alex, giving her a nod "I'll be back." she then dashed off through the door and out of the institute. Heading back to her house where she took a shower and changed her clothes into something more clean. "If he wants to see who's strongest, fine. We'll see who's the stongest down in the ring." she looked through her closet for the right set of clothes that she was planning to use during this meetup. Sports bra, some gloves, shorts and shoes that would be perfect for working out. She had a secret place which held equipment for training like a type of boxing ring, a punching bag, some weights...It was her own personal gym which she used to become stronger. EVen some dummies were in there just to learn some combat skills. So fighting Dean was actually gonna be fun because he wasnt a dummy and would fight back.

(Shit uh..im stuck, halp XD)

A couple of hours later:

Roje had returned to Alex's suite. She had a bag in her hand and walked right into the bedroom "You know, Alex. I went out and bought you a dress because I thought why the hell not. I'd say this dress is pretty casual and has a nice look to it. Makes you look innocent and quite adorable in it too." she pulled the dress from the bag and showed her the blue dress "See? It just shows your purity and that's what Chris likes. It doesnt show too much, nor does it show too less." the vampire smiled at her new human friend as she held the dress up "Come on, Alex. Try it on. It'll look super cute on you." the vampire was just being very girly now, despite what Roje was actually wearing. Which had been the outfit that had been discribed earlier. "Okay dont ask about what im wearing, It's how im going to hand your brother's butt to him. Just dont question it." it was a sports bra and shorts, along with the shoes and gloves to protect her knuckles. Not that she needed them, she just looked badass. Her hair had also been tied up in a ponytail which had proven her ready to fight and throw some punches. The vampire went over to the bed and layed the dress down "I cleaned it and made sure it was dried at full. So it should fit perfectly. If it doesnt...I'll stretch it somehow." Her hazel-brown eyes shifted back to Alex and gave her a nice smile "Love your hair by the way."

After the altercation that had occurred in Alex's suite, she was due for some down time before her date with Chris, so while Roje was out doing who knows what she had decided to take a well deserved nap. After not sleeping well the night before due to the events that occurred, and the chaos that had already gone on today, well she really needed one. After about forty-five minutes of restful sleep, the shadowhunter was back up, practically bouncing out of bed due to her recent power nap and her excitement, the girl quickly got to work on her hair and makeup. Since she had no idea what kind of dress Roje would put her in, she keep the make up neutral and her hair rather simple. It was the safest route to go because the last thing she wanted was to do something like pink eye shadow and have Roje pick out a red dress for her. She couldn't make her hair too busy either, because she didn't know the type of neckline Roje was going to pick out, or the design of the dress. So, getting ready didn't take her that long at all, in fact, she even had time to manicure and paint french tips on her nails. Though, the hunter did have to redo her wings a few ties to get them just perfect, but that was to be expected, they never came out even the first time she did them. God she felt so girly getting ready like this, normally Alex didn't care what she wore or how her make up and hair looked because the majority of the time she was either working out, going on a mission, or working. Getting dressed up for an occasion, well it didn't happen often.

As the brunette was searching through her closet, trying to find a suitable pair of shoes that were both comfortable but pretty, she heard someone enter the common room through her front door. Assuming it was just Roje and not some crazy chainsaw murderer, she got up to meet her, but the vampire had already made her way into the shadowhunter's bedroom. "I was going for trying not to look as innocent as I actually am, but that dress is super cute so I'm not going to say no to it. It's perfect actually, I love dresses with wide necklines like that." Alex smiled and took the dress from Roje. "I was going to question the outfit, but since you said not to I'm just going to assume you're planning on going to beat my brother up." She laughed moments later when her theory was confirmed. "Just don't beat him too badly, he may be a total ass but hes still my brother. I need him alive, mostly." She began to strip down to her underwear, not really caring that Roje was inthe room, they were both girls right So, it didn't matter, Alex was very used to changing in front of people in locker rooms, so this was nothing new. When she put the dress on, She twirled a little bit and then groaned. "I feel so god damn girly, I'm not used to this at all Roje! But can you zip me up?" Unfortunately, the shadowhunter could not reach the zipper at the base of her back.

(Do you? lol xD)

Roje was glad that Alex liked the Dress. "Listen, Chris doesnt know you're a hunter, so in his eyes, you're innocent." Chris probably would never know that she even had a night job as a hunter. "Besides, innocence is something he likes. He wont admit it but he's a little innocent himself." then Alex went onto her brother, to which Roje grinned "I wont kill him, I promise. But I will toss him around like a ragdoll. Rattle him and show him what I can do. He thinks it's all fun and games as a Wolf. He has no idea what kind of strength I hold." she turned her head, giving Alex some privacy as she stripped out of her clothes and put on the dress. Once she had been done, Roje looked, catching her twirling a bit and letting out a groan of some sort. Making the vampire laugh "It's good to be girly sometimes. I mean, I'm an exception because im not one for the girly things unless its a special day like a wedding or something." She then moved towards Alex, stepping behind her and zipping up the back, careful of her hair not to get caught in it. "You look beautiful, trust me when I say that." the vampire placed her hands on her best friend's shoulders, smiling and moving to stand in front of her "If you're lucky, you guys might kiss tonight." she winked, teasing her now before moving and sitting on the bed, leaning back on her hands as she tilted her head to the side, watching her.

"Just so you know, He's gonna make you pick out a movie if you dont like what he decided on. He'll watch a chick flick if you choose one. So you're good in that department." before Roje had gotten here, she stopped by Chris's to make sure he was getting ready. He was and he looked pretty good looking. How he dressed wasnt fancy, but wasnt sloppy either. He smelt of his favorite soap and looked pretty excited to go out with Alex. He even kept asking Roje if he looked good from her perspective and Roje said yes every time "You have no idea how excited he is. Though he may not show it when you see him. Anyway, what do you plan on doing on this lovely first date? I mean, aside from the plans he's made for the both of you."

"He's going to make me pick out the movie? God but I'm so horrible at making decisions like that..." Alex groaned again and flopped onto a chair olaced in the corner of the room. She felt extremely unprepared for the date she was having tonight, and it was really making her nervous. The girls was used to having a full mapped out plan of how a mission was going down, that's what she was treating this like, a mission, so she didn't like the idea of there being surprises and unpredictable plans. Going in blind, well it wasn't how Alex liked to proceed with things and the closer the date got, the more she was stressing about it. The suspense was killing the young shdowhunter, but she tried her best not to let her friend see it.

"Damn this chair is so comfy and I just realized I still haven't picked out the right shoes to wear..." Alex sighed and slowly got back up from the chair, dragging her feet to her closet. "Any suggestions? I was thinking some kind of ankle boot... Something that's still comfortable but isn't ugly either." The girl began searching through the mess that she insisted was her closet when she stumbled upon a gray pair of ankle boots with a small heel. They'd be perfect for the outfit she was wearing. "Jackpot." The shadowhunter untangled herself from the clothes in her closet, showing the shoes to Roje. "These will be perfect. Now where's my stele and seraph blade?" Of course, they were where Alex always left them, on her nightstand. Swiftly, she put on the shoes and his the stele in them. Then she wrapped her holster around her upper thigh, hiding it under her dress, and strapped her seraph blade hilt within it. "Alright I think I can officially say I'm as ready as I'll ever be."

However, it was obvious that her vampire friend had other plans, beginning to ask her more questions about the date. "Are you actually asking me what my intentions are with Chris, Roje?" The shadowhunter laughed and pushed a stray piece of hair behind her ear. "Well in all honestly I just thought we'd go out and have a good time, you said we're seeing a movie, so that'll be good. And I assume we'll probably get food of some sort at some point during the date. Is there anything else I should be worried or thinking about?" It was obvious that the Shadowhunters had been too busy stressing about everything else and not thinking about the actual date itself. Her innocence and inexperience was definitely showing now, but hopefully Roje would set her straight.

@Britt-21

Roje found Alex the most adorable person ever. She just had this quirkiness to her that she liked. The vampire watched her pick out her shoes and put them on before taking care of her weapons and hiding them under her dress "Well, aside from the weapons hiding under your dress like an assassin or Lara Croft, I would say you're perfectly fine. Just be yourself. I can see why he likes you, you're pretty cute when you're trying to get ready for a date." she got up from the bed and put her hands on her sides "Your intentions with Chris are probably fine and I have nothing to worry about. Annywaayy, I really hope your date goes smooth and you guys have the best night for a first date." she walked over and hugged Alex tightly, but not enough to crush her bones and then released her "You're perfectly set for this. If anything happens during your date, like a broken heel, or you twist your ankle, Chris will be there to catch you." she then looked towards the Alarm clock on Alex's nightstand "It's getting close to that time, so lets head out.  Get you on your merry way to a lovely date wth Chris." Roje moved to the bedroom door to step out and she glanced over her shoulder at Alex "Well? Come on! You dont wanna be late." Roje went and grabbed her before dragging her out.

Roje had brought Alex to Chris's house. Where both girls stood on the porch "Alright, Alex. This is all you. Enjoy your time here. Call me if something goes wrong. My number is in his phone, alright? Good luck." the vampire gave her one last hug before ringing the doorbell and rushing off to her place where she made sure she was prepared and sat outside on her porch steps. Waiting for the werewolf to show up. Her eyes looking up towards the sky, seeing the dark clouds and the stars that scattered the sky. "I should do this more often." she muttered, smiling a little bit and looking around at the sky to see what she could probably see. But her eyes soon closed and she just let her hears do the watching. Despite only able to hear out of them. Her elbows had been resting on the stairs higher than the one she had been sitting on and her head hung back. Her body relaxed for the time being. Now all she had to do was wait on werewolf boy.

Chris had been finishing up his prepping before his date. That was until he heard the doorbell ring and he called out "Coming!" he came jogging down the steps and went straight for the door, unlocking it and opening it to reveal his date for the night. A blush slowly creeped up on his cheeks and his ears turned a little bit red while his heart skipped a beat "Wow..." she looked beautiful with her Navy blue dress, her makeup, and her hairstyle. "You look...absolutely amazing.." where has he had jeans on, with some converse, a button up that had been tucked under his jeans and a light jacket to go on top with a couple of buttons. It looked almost as dark as her dress. "Uh..let me get my wallet and my keys." he stepped away for a moment and grabbed those two items before stepping out, the door locking behind him and looking at her "So...are we ready to go?" he asked, holding his hand out to her, smiling a little bit while his cheeks had still been pink. He was so stunned, her beauty... Even without all of this and just her diner uniform, she looked beautiful.

Before Alex could protest, stating she needed to check her make up one last time, trying to find any excuse to stay for a few more minutes, she was literally dragged out the door by the vampire. Alex was practically trying to run back into her room and hide but Roje didn't seem to take no for an answer, no matter what the reason. At least the vampire had reassured her that if anything went wrong she'd be there for back up. Having an escape plan, or an emergency plan was always a good thing. Alex seemed to be rather good at muddying situations with people when she was nervous and she may have to call Roje for advice during the night out. God forbid something happened that was supernatural related, she'd need to have Roje there in a heart beat. She couldn't expose herself for being a shadowhunter. Well at least not yet... Although, Alex doubted she would need to worry about any of this with Chris. He seemed like a gentleman, and Roje assured her that if there was any type of wardrobe malfunction that he'd help without a second thought. So hopefully Roje's emergency offer would not be needed tonight. The thought put her at ease as the vampire was about to make her exit. Roje hugged her before disappearing into the night, and Alex was left alone, waiting on the door step of Chris's house, her heart beating a little too fast and nerves quickly overtook any calm thoughts that she had managed to have over the last few minute. Her nerves had her almost frozen in place. After a few deep breaths and a moment to compose herself, she rang his doorbell, her weight shifting from one foot to the other, trying to keep herself calm as she waited for him to answer.

When Chris answered the door, he had a look on his face that Alex had never quite seen before. He looked happy... but why wasn't he speaking? After an awkward pause he complimented her and Alex relaxed a little, but she was still a bit self conscious about him staring. "Is it too much? I wasn't sure what to wear cause I wasn't sure exactly where we were going and a friend helped me pick out the dress and-" Alex stopped and blushed ear to ear, looking away from her date. Here she went already, running her big mouth. But, at least she hadn't blown her cover about Roje, after all, there should have been no reason Roje and her knew each other. "Sorry..." Luckily though, Chris stepped away for a minute, which gave Alex a second to let out a long shaky breath. She could do this, it was just a date. It had to be easier than slaying demons right? Oh who was she kidding... this date was going to be a disaster. But, when Chris came back, she smiled and acted as if nothing was wrong. "Yea, I'm ready to go if you are." Hesitantly, the shadowhunter took the man's hand and let him lead her out to the car. He still seemed a bit too quiet though...

He had opened the passenger door for her, just like she assumed a gentleman would do, after all she'd never really been treated like this before, and Alex got into the car. It was such a close space for them to be in, and Alex's nerves were not helping the situation. Suddenly she felt very aware of herself and she clutched the hem of her dress nervously. There was an awkward silence for a few moments, but it gave Alex a chance to loo at was Chris was wearing. She kicked herself mentally, he had complimented her on what she was wearing and she hadn't even said a thing! She really was horrible at this whole dating thing. She had to admit though, now that she got a moment to look at him, Chris looked rather handsome. Even though Alex was used to seeing him in their work uniform, Chris's t-shirt had always been just a little too tight, which Alex appreciated because it gave her something to look at. She had more than once caught herself staring at him and watching the muscles contract and relax under the thin cotton fabric. Alex shook her head slightly and blushed. If it was possible, Chris looked even more handsome now than he did at work. The button down shirt was fitted and showed off his broad shoulders and his arms nicely. The jeans were a perfect match to his shirt, which impressed her. Her brother couldn't match his clothes to safe his life until Alex had to show him. The shadowhunter caught herself thinking about how cute his butt probably looked in the jeans he was wearing and her eyes widened slightly and she pushed the thought from her mind. Now was not that time for that! "So you never told me exactly where we were going... Do I get to know yet? Or is it still a secret?"

Dean had agreed to meet up with Roje, to prove who was really the stronger one and to finally put her in her place, but as usual, he wanted to do so on his own time. After the trial and the altercation with said vampire, the werewolf had gone back to his apartment, mad himself a sandwich and found a comfortable spot on the couch in front of his TV. He did not plan on moving any time soon. As time went on, the werewolf had dozed off, slumping over and drooling on one of the arms of the couch, leaving the vampire to wait. But, he woke up with a start when he accidentally kicked his glass off the coffee table with his foot. "Fuck." The werewolf groaned as he got up to clean up the broken glass and beer that had now made its home in the man's carpet. Having picked up all the small pieces of glass that he could find, preferring not to cut his foot open on one later, he threw them out and grabbed a cleaner from the kitchen, hoping to save his apartment from forever having the smell of stale beer in it. Luckily, it seemed that Dean had caught the mess quick enough and he wouldn't be left with a permanent mark. Happy with his clean up job, he returned to the kitchen to put the cleaner under the sink. The wolf just so happened to glance up at the clock, to see it was almost twenty minutes past the time that he was supposed to meet Roje. "Oops." He quickly grabbed a jacket and forgot to fix his bed head as he went out the door.

The werewolf approached the meeting spot to find the vampire just lazily staring up at the sky. He smirked, she actually looked like she wasn't about to tear someone's head off. It was a nice look for her. She almost looked... peaceful, and because of that, of course Dean had to ruin it, he was like an eight year old boy in that way. "Hey vamps! Rise and shine. We gonna do this or what?" The werewolf smirked at the sight of Roje jumping a little bit in her seat as she came back to reality. "Hope you're ready. I mean, with that outfit and all, it'd be a shame if your skills didn't live up to the part you're trying to play with those clothes." He smirked, she actually looked pretty cute in the training clothes like that, and he definitely enjoyed that they only barely covered the fun bits, but he sure as hell wasn't going to let the vampire know that. Instead, Dean pulled his gloves out of his basketball shorts' pocket and began to slip them on. "Come on then shortie, lets do this." He knew the nickname would get under her skin and get her riled up, but that was half the fun in this. And god, she made it so fucking easy for him to get on her nerves, he loved it.

Roje seemed quite out of it, but as soon as Dean came along, he ruined her peaceful time and she had jumped slightly out of her peaceful state. She glared at him through the darkness, seeing him in shorts and pull out some gloves. His remarks...ooohh His remarks. SHe just wanted to kick his ass in "Call me shortie again, watch what happens." getting up from the steps, she walked towards him and all of a sudden just vanished before coming back with her super speed, holding him just as he held her earlier and was now inside a lit up werehouse in the middle of wherever they were and she dropped him off on his ass in the caged boxing ring she had going on. "Here we are, princess." if he were to look around, he would see training equipment everywhere, as well as a foam flooring and some mats. While he was doing whatever he was doing, she moved towards the door of the caged ring and shut it so they wouldnt fall through it if one was pushed against it "You may be a werewolf with temper tantrums, but that doesnt mean you're stronger than me." she turned back towards him, fixing her gloves and looking at him, tilting her head a little "You're not the only one who can carry people. By the way, lay off the food. You're pretty heavy." she smirked and moved to the farther side of the ring.

"Now you're also gonna pay for making me wait longer than the time I told you to meet me at. At least you followed directions." she rolled her shoulders and cracked her neck "Lets see who comes out first on top, shall we?" she lifted her fists and prepared her stance, waiting for him to get a move on "You may have some of your hunter skills in you, but i've learned to counter most of them." Roje was one of the most cockiest people that someone could run into. She was stubborn too which meant even if she was down, close to death, she'd keep fighting till her very last breath. Most people would think that was either really stupid, or very bold of her to do. "Just because I've been the damsel in distress, doesnt mean I am one. Just got caught by some really evil people." she was ready to go rough with this werewolf. It's been a very long time since she had actually fought someone who matched her strength. The excitement built up inside her, ready to kick some butt. Her heartrate picked up and her blood pumped through her veins.

just the boxing ring is what im talking about. It seems small but its fairly big :)

Chris found her absolutely adorable with how she had been acting. Once she had taken his hand, he brought her to his car and opened the door for him, as he planned before this even happened. As soon as she was inside, he closed the door and moved to the drivers side where he slipped in, put on his belt and slip the key into the ignition before turning it and having the car come to life. He glanced at her and spoke "Here we go." and with that, he drove off, driving towards the movie theater. The silence was filling the air quite a bit and he'd sometimes look at her where she'd be shaking his head. Since she wasnt talking, he assumed she was thinking and just being very nervous. She soon spoke, her words slicing through the silence "Well we're going to see a movie." he replied, reaching his one hand over and placing it on top of the hand gripping the edge of her dress. He was trying to comfort her "If you dont like the movie I planned for us to see, I'll let you choose the next one." it was just as Roje had warned her about. Though Chris had no idea Roje spilled the beans, especially was best friends with Alex.  Well at least Alex had no idea about the place he would be taking her to.

"Hey, Alex. Dont be nervous around me. There's really nothing to be worried about." he chuckled "If anything, I should be nervous. If I did anything wrong, I'm sure you'd scold me for it or something." he was trying to lighten the mood up  "If you dont like anything I do or what we do, just let me know, alright? I really dont want to blow this chance with you. Took me a lot to get everything together and ask you out. When I told your brother, I was sure he was going to kill me first." he continued to drive, his hand still on top of hers while the other steered perfectly fine. He had enough experience to drive with one hand and was actually pretty good at it. Secretly, he knew Alex was nervous, just by her actions. In the diner, she was not like this. She was more open and a lot more...open? She wasnt shy or nervous this way.

Alex frowned a little, Chris shouldn't have to be comforting her like this and although that wasn't the only thing she was thinking about, she didn't want to act like this around him. Alex wasn't a shy or timid girl by nature and she certainly felt a bit out of place being so nervous like this, but hopefully she'd calm down enough eventually to have a nice night with her date. After all, the shadow hunter didn't want to ruin the chance she had to date Chris, he seemed like a really nice guy and Alex liked him quite a bit. "Sorry... I guess, I just really haven't done this very much... I just don't wanna mess up..." Talking like this, it gave an idea about the fact that she was inexperienced but it didn't reveal that this was really her first time doing it. Ever. "I'm not worried about you doing anything wrong Chris, believe me I know you wouldn't. My brother would murder you if you did. He already made that pretty clear from my understanding But I mean we've worked together for a while now, I wouldn't have said yes if I didn't think that you were a good person.." The girl laughed a bit, easing up about to whole thing. "I mean he even tried to give me the talk. I'm twenty-one. You would think that I know that stuff by now." She rolled her eyes and looked at Chris. "In all honesty, I wasn't just being nervous. I was trying not to stare cause you look rather good in the]at shirt." She blushed and looked away, wishing that she had put her hair down so she could've hid behind it. The shadowhunter nervously looked down at her lap and at Chris's hand over hers.Alex could not believe she actually just told him that, her face was going from a flight flush, to beet red by the second. She had been waiting for Chris to ask her out for weeks now, and now it looked like she was going to blow it because she couldn't control her nerves and just talk to the guy. It was beyond frustrating.

Silence had once again fallen over the car again and it made Alex want to bang her head into the dashboard. Why was she acting like this? This was her, she was a confident, demon hunting, sword wielding shadowhunter that was at the top of her class. A simple bit of social interaction shouldn't be worrying her like this. The hunter's lips formed  thin line as she tried to buck up the courage to talk to him again. Man she really needed to grow a pair, so to speak. Alex looked over at Chris, watching him as he drove with one hand, the other holding her in her lap. He seemed so calm, why couldn't she be more like him? But good, looking at his face did not help her concentration. The profile of his jaw was definitely nice to look at and his eyes were concentrating on the road, god his eyes were so nice. His mouth was in a slight smirk and he had a dimple on his left cheek. Jesus why was she like this?! She had to stop staring! His looks had never had this affect on her before, yes she had always thought he was attractive and nice to look at, but she had certainly never gone google eyed over him like this. She had to start a conversation, anything to keep her distracted from him and her nerves. "What movie are we going to go see? We're not going to see a chick flick hopefully right?"

As the wolf was carried in by the vampire, he couldn't help but laugh, he definitely deserved that, after all the teasing he had put her through today. Maybe she deserved a bit of a break from it. After all, he knew most people could only take so much teasing in one sitting. But he was definitely not the one to throw temper tantrums, if anyone in the room threw fits, it was the vampire standing right in front of him. With a smirk plastered across his face, he walked into the ring and let her shut the door behind them. "you'll find that I have better moves than the majority of the hunters in the institute, they only one that can hold their own against me is my sister. So, don't pin me with the other hunters there. They're crappy learners. As much as I tried to teach them, I think some of them didn't have enough brain cells to learn what I taught them. Don't underestimate me Roje, you'll get put straight on the ground if you do." The man chuckled and squared up to his new sparing partner. This was definitely going to be fun for the both of them, he hadn't had a new person to fight in years. Alex had gotten tired of the constant competitions years ago. "If I hurt you, or if I'm using too much power, just tell me to stop alright. I wouldn't want to hurt a girl you know. I'm not into that. Unless you are sweetheart." Some innocent flirting wouldn't hurt anyone would it? Besides, it might knock her off her game enough to make this an easy fight for the werewolf. He was not expecting her to go easy on him, nor was he expecting her to be anything short of a great fighter, but he was well prepared and he was a pretty decent fighter if he did say so himself. "Ladies first, even if you don't really count as a lady." He chuckled and rolled his eyes, waiting for Roje to make the first move.
