Fandom Supernatural RP With Amy de l'ABC

Christine sighed as she pulled up to a diner.  She hadn't slept well last night, so she was exhausted.  As much as she wanted to just go back to her hotel and sleep, though, she really probably ought to eat.

As she moved to find a seat, she slipped back into her thoughts.  Not paying attention to her footsteps, she misjudged them and tripped over a loose floorboard, falling nearly into the lap of a man sitting at one of the tables.

"Whoa, are you okay?" she heard someone exclaim--not the man she'd crashed into.

(Just to clear up, since Christine isn't paying attention, she fell into Cas and Sam asked if she was okay :) )

Cas, Sam, and Dean were all sitting at a booth at a run-down road house that was, surprisingly, still in business, like most of the establishments the hunters went to. As they awaited their orders, a woman happened to trip on the edge of a loose floorboard, sending her into Cas' lap. He was startled at first, having not expected someone to fall right onto him. "Woah, are you okay?" Sam asked the woman, and Cas thought the same thing. Though, upon a quick examination of her with his grace, he found no injuries of any kind, and felt better that the woman was okay.

Christine nodded, cheeks heating a little.  "I'm so sorry!  Are you okay?" she gasped, quickly standing up and taking a step back.  She grumbled at herself internally for not watching where she was going.

"I assure you, it's fine. And I am okay, thank you for being concerned about me." replied Castiel, as he too was completely fine."What's your name there, dollface?" Dean asked the woman, the notes that he was reading now spread out on the table and his attention turned to her.

Giving a smile to the man she'd fallen on, she was about to move away, but was distracted by the question from the third one.  She blushed.  "Um...Christine.  What's yours?"

Sam nudged Dean with his elbow, rolling his eyes at his brother's flirting.

Dean rolled his eyes back at Sam. "I'm Dean, this is my brother Sam, and this is Castiel." he said, introducing the little gang. "You on a hunt or just come to get a bite to eat?" he asked, knowing that if she was there she was most likely a hunter like them.

(gotta go to bed. Good night :)  )

(Okay :) I've got church, but I can get on after for sure and maybe before.)

"Just to get food.  I'm not really a hunter, exactly...  I mean, I know about stuff, and I research and help out hunters.  But I mostly stopped in here to sort of...make connections." she explained.  "Like I said, I help out sometimes, and...well, the last person I worked with..."  She bit her lip, faltering, the words not wanting to come out.  "Anyway, I mostly just like the extra level of safety, knowing I'm with a bunch of hunters.  I carry the basics, but I'm not all that great at the physical stuff."  As soon as the words left her mouth, she wondered if she ought to have kept quiet.  A lot of hunters tended to judge her for that, and even sometimes got aggressive.  She hoped these guys wouldn't mind.

Sam seemed to light up at the knowledge that the girl was fond of his favorite part of the hunt.  "So you're a researcher?  We could use a little help, right, Dean?"  He nudged his brother again.

"So, you're a researcher? We could use a little help, right Dean?" Sam asked Dean, nudging the older of the two once more. Dean nods, smiling at Christine. "Yeah, that would be a big help, if you'd like. And would you like to sit with us, dollface?" he offered, making room for her on his side of the booth.

She turned pink again at the nickname, but shrugged a little.  "Um...sure," she agreed, sitting down.  "And I'm happy to help.  What's your case looking like?"

Cas spoke up this time. "We're looking at a possible angel. Their grace is very foggy and uncertain, so I am unable to identify who they are. It seems as though this angel has been living on Earth for quite some time, and we're going to find out if they are up to anything." he explains, a little frustrated that he can't identify who the angel is.

Christine nodded, then backtracked.  "Wait, so--you have some kind of ability to sense...?  Um..."  She tried to think of a polite way to phrase her question.  "Sorry if this sounds rude--I don't mean to be--but, uh, are you human?  I mean, just so I know.  I won't judge or anything."

Cas shook his head. "I am an angel of the Lord. I am able to sense my brethren through their grace." he explains. "And thank you for not judging." he thanks, his mouth forming a small smile at her curiosity and her awkwardness. It made her...cute, he thinks. Their food was then served and sam and Dean started to eat. "Wanna have some?" Dean offers some of his food to Christine.

"Oh.  Okay."  His smile made her own mouth quirk up.  It was sweet.  "And...no problem."  She laughed a bit, and then, turning to Dean, smiled.  "No, thanks.  I should probably get my own food; otherwise I'd eat all of yours.  I'm starving."  She stood and went to the counter, having a quick conversation with the woman behind it before returning.  "There we go.  I'm set now."

Sam smiled at her.  "So what are your impressions of our case?  To be honest, anything might help at this point.  I think we're all a little burned out."

"Well..."  She thought about it, then turned back to Cas.  "How does it usually feel, to sense another angel?  Their--Grace, you said?--their Grace is unique?  So does this one feel too...too common?  Too much like others?  Or is it like, you can't tell how it feels?  Or does it feel like--can you sense other creatures?  Does it feel like that?"

Cas thinks about this. "Hmm, I suppose some angels have unique graces. And the ones in my garrison are familiar to me. But the younger ones have more or less the same feeling to them. And it is harder to sense when they don't use any of their grace for a long while, like the one we are trying to find." He explains, as he stares at one of Sam's french fries, wondering how humans could like such things, as to angels human food only feels like little orbs in their mouths.

"Oh, okay."  Christine took this in, thinking.  "So you're mostly trying to track this angel down, then, or what exactly?  I mean, honestly, I don't have a lot of experience with angels, but I can be another pair of eyes if that's what you need."

Sam nodded.  "That's basically what I was thinking.  There's not a lot you can do that's necessarily different than what we can unless you're some kind of angel specialist, but more people looking is always good."

"Okay.  I mean, I am pretty good with noticing patterns, so that always helps," she replied with a nod.  Looking at Cas, she went on, "And the more you can tell me about angels and how all this works, the better."  She grinned.  "Admittedly, I'm really curious anyway."

(Should I write out all the info about angels or should I just say 'Cas explained everything about angels to Christine'?)

(Oh haha.  Um, you can just gloss over it unless maybe if there's something specific that matters to the case or that you want to remind me of?  Does that work?)

(Sure :)  )

Castiel explains most everything about angels to Christine, telling her about how angels use their grace and what angels are like. He then explains that the angel they are searching for is unusual, as the angel doesn't use their grace nor have they gone back to Heaven in years. They haven't even flew in a long while, which is highly unusual for angels, as flying is very pleasurable and their favorite way to get from place to place.

(Gotta go to bed. G'night)
