Mackenzie raised an eyebrow at Chase announced he had accomplished his promise and returned Will back to the colony safely. She raised a hand to look at her wrist, no watch in sight, and clucked. "Five passed the promised time ...." She shook her head. "You're both grounded." Whatever humor had been faded quickly as Elijah filled Will in on what had occurred but she interrupted. "They weren't visions." She said carefully, glancing back at the girl briefly. "It was like she was interrupting my signal with Heaven. They're constantly nattering, most of it I can't catch, but I hear them - like a celestial buzzing noise. She cut through that signal, like she was hijacking it and forcing me to see whatever she was doing." She frowned, shaking her head. "I don't have a better explanation, but I think the iron and bronze has stopped... whatever that was."

Ashley-May smiled sadly as Adelaide hugged her gently, leaning against her friend as she set the kettle back onto the stove to cool. "Come on," She nodded towards the door. "Let's not leave your friend waiting too long ... she might think we're a thing and get jealous." Ash winked at Addy, picking up the tray and carrying it back towards the living room to where Morgan was still seated quietly on the couch waiting.

"Brody answered," Morgan said quietly as the two women returned, she had been listening (not that she had a choice with the house as quiet as it was) and knew they were both worried and saddened by the loss of their friend god. "He said he'd meet us at the gates in the morning. I guess he doesn't want to come into the colony given ... everything."

With the pair filling them in on what had gone down Chase spoke up. "Not a demon." He offered bluntly before giving a mildly dubious look, "Or at least it doesn't smell like one I've ever caught whiff of." It was still gonna take a little getting used to speaking on the subject of hunting in general while mentioning his senses, to other hunters. Sure, they'd seen him as a Wolf but talking everyday hunter terms was a different story especially since Joe was practically the only one he'd ever been able to do it with. Once the gates had opened up Chase waited for either Will to inform him on where to go, or Elijah to lead them to wherever they were planning to drive their prisoner.

Elijah led the way into the Colony, steering the Beast inside and toward the rec center, parking behind it: isolated enough at this time of day to avoid prying eyes and potential victims of a crossfire if their prisoner awoke in a less than congenial mood.

Will sat quietly as Chase followed Eli in, waiting until the vehicle came to a stop before climbing out and briskly walking over to the Beast. He spared barely a glance at the restrained girl, instead placing a protective hand on his fiancee's shoulder. "Are you okay? You should have called me back to help."

Adelaide rolled her eyes at Ashley-May's remark about potential jealousy, following her friend back into the living room. Addy poured one cup for Morgan and Ash each, not being able to muster the will to "show off" by using her telekinesis for the task, something she knew Morgan enjoyed.

Addy nodded as Morgan informed them of Brody's decision. "That's fair," she said. "We'll meet him there."

-----
"Why are you crying."

The voice echoed as Amethyst sat alone amidst a world of black. "I hate this." Amethyst spoke before wiping her eyes.

"Why."

As normalized to the entities prodding as she was Amethyst still felt irked at its inability to process pain.
"Its painful."

"Pain is an irrelevancy. Dismiss it."

Shaking her head Ame stopped crying but now felt more or less empty. Pulling her knees closer to her chest she felt the temperature drop.
"Pain is a necessity. It's used as a limiter... I guess."

"Is sight a necessity? Do you not function without it? Dismiss your assumptions."

"I don't want to."

"Why?"

The why got to her this time. Clenching her fists she looked up knowing the eye was there.
"Because I don't want to change who I am right now. Is that a good enough answer!"

"Yes, We shall speak on this later."

"Why do you keep asking questions."

"Because I can."

"Why?"

The silence after her asking the question permeated eternally. She realized she was very alone.
---

Finally waking up Amethyst let out a groan, the pain of her recent near death experience remained. Trying to turn Amethyst realized something was holding her hands together. Keeping still for a moment the reality of the situation began to dawn on her. Remaining where she was she now had no idea where she was. She could feel around and the reality of it all made her feel sick.

Chester watched with some interest as Ginny did her work. While dreams weren’t his thing, he did know opportunity when he saw it. If this worked, maybe such power could be useful later. His plotting was interrupted by that sound of fangs from Tara. He tensed up for a moment, but it seemed still under control. Ginny’s mutters of what was going on got Chester to relax a little more. The little tidbit about children was useful.
As the Vampire continued to dream, Chester got up and started to look around. Getting to know about Tara might help him figure out how to stop her without killing her.

Eliasdagood Eliasdagood

A little bit of looking around would give the clues that this is actually Ginny’s apartment, not Tara’s. The key indicator is that anywhere something is written down, it’s in Arabic. Most of the food she has here is junk, as well as a few blood bags in the fridge, and one empty on the table. There’s… really not too much here that isn’t purely functional, other than a seemingly random collection of books. Including some high school textbooks. She wasn’t exactly able to go to school while in hiding, but she’s been trying her best.

There’s a single photograph, with a frame that’s obviously been cracked and badly mended a few times. There’s a group of seven there, all looking to be in their late twenties to early thirties, with a single girl in the front, who looks maybe ten. Closer inspection would show the markings on the adults’ arms, and some of their faces. A family of djinni, with one too young to have gained her markings yet, or her abilities.

Ginny can hear him moving around, but she doesnt open her eyes, as Tara twitches and growls. “Ah, Damn it. She failed that time. Let’s try again.” The djinn mutters, ending that dream before Tara can get a taste. Not letting her get satisfaction from attacks could help train her.

Mackenzie nodded and sighed to Will. "Yes, I'm okay." Rather annoyed she turned her dark gaze to glare at him. "I didn't need back up, and if I did, Elijah and I are perfectly capable of handling this." She would never admit they got lucky with the girl passing out and making it all that much easier to restrain her for the time being. "I might have a head stuff full of junk delivered from Heaven but that doesn't mean I can't hunt." She raised a hand, seeing the look in his eyes. "And don't even start on my importance to the colony. Heaven hasn't bothered to show me anything of great value and only gods dying, so really. I needed to hunt tonight and I'm going to need to go out again and again until I start to feel useful again."

Morgan gratefully sipped at the tea Ashley-May had given her as Adelaide agreed on Brody's terms for joining them. She knew why Brody didn't want to come into the colony - not just because her uncle had banished him until further noticed - but because he knew he would have to see his sister and likely upset her again. While Morgan knew the cycle would never end until one of the pair gave in (Mac being alright with Brody, or Brody giving up seeing his sister) she was oddly proud at her friend for acknowledging his faults and working around them.

Ashley-May glanced between the witch and the wolf before setting her cup down. "So, I know that you're all mission oriented, but please tell me you'll consider visiting Chad at his bar?" She asked, more Addy than Morgan since it was the witch she had spoken too previously. "I'm sure you guys can take a break after you're done and visit them? I think you'll really enjoy the VIP room - Mac didn't even get invited in there ... but for some very good reasons. You'll see," She promised.

William pursed his lips, sighing. Instead of engaging Mac in an argument, he simply leaned his head forward to rest against her own, hugging her tightly. "I don't care about your importance to the Colony or Heaven. I'm talking about your importance to me. To us," he murmured softly, pressing a kiss against his fiancee's forehead. "We're partners. And I'm supposed to keep you safe. I know you and Eli can handle yourselves. But... things are different now. I just want to keep you all safe."

Any further discussion on the matter was promptly tabled as Elijah glanced toward the stirring girl, groaning lightly and seeming to realize her restraints. He turned toward the others to call out, "She's awake."

Adelaide tilted her head, giving Ash an amused smile. "Right. Render Coffee -- Columbus & Mass. I haven't forgotten," she said with a wink before turning toward Morgan. "We'll see what Boston holds for us. If we get the chance for a little R&R, we'll drop by." Her tone was as much a question directed at Morgan as a statement; the young wolf was her partner after all and she didn't want to push her outside of her comfort zone.

Once they'd parked Chase stepped out of the truck and stepped over towards the beast, pausing near the back where Elijah was. "I see you've been busy." He noted, glancing at Elijah before turning to look towards the back of the vehicle where he could see the girl that was mentioned. Now that he was closer the scent was less dispersed. She smelled off, it was difficult to explain but she more or less smelled wrong. It made Chase uncomfortable and tense, the man crossing his arms over his chest. "What are the chances she has something to do with the First Sin?" His question was directed more at Elijah since the other two were having a moment together, but he wasn't speaking quietly. It wouldn't be a long shot what with her being able to interfere with Heaven's visions. Any possible answer from the other man likely went out the window the moment the person in question started to stir. With the different sorts of Hunter traps and bonds she was in Chase would like to assume they weren't in emanate danger but either way he kept on his guard.

Mackenzie felt a pang of guilt hearing Will turn her argument against her; she hadn't meant to 'go off' defensively but it was in her nature to defend herself. She nodded to his final statement, that things were different however before much else could be spoken Elijah was declaring the girl to be awake. Dark eyes turned to look over the still form - her eyes were open but otherwise she was unmoving. "If she does belong to the First Sin then she need to be destroyed." Once more her eyes darted to Elijah. "You didn't see what he and Hypolyes will do to this world ... us, the first second they have a chance."

Morgan smiled to Adelaide and nodded. "Sounds good." She was excited at the prospect of sightseeing with Addy while in Boston but did her best to curb her enthusiasm: this was a hunting mission for a Seal to prevent the First Sin from escaping the Abbys, not a vacation with her friend. She knew Addy was nervous (as was she) and didn't want the witch to think she wasn't taking this seriously.

Ashley-May glanced between the pair before sighing. "Well I should leave you to to get some rest, I know you're leaving early tomorrow." She stood from the couch, coffee still in hand. "I'm just going to step out onto the porch and wait for the others to get home." She nodded towards the ottoman, "Sheets are still there for making up the couch from last night. Good night you two."

Chester made note of the tidbits he gleaned from the apartment. He was a little surprised it was Ginny’s, but that was probably just him not paying close enough attention.
“Not the first time.” He thought sourly.
Speaking of attention, he switched it back to Tara. Ginny’s update was a little worrying, but he couldn’t fault her logic.
“Are you using people from her past or trying to make them seem like strangers?” He asked, curiosity getting the better of him. “Oh, don’t answer if that breaks your concentration or something.”

Eliasdagood Eliasdagood

Ginny furrows her brow, concentrating as she makes the new scenario. “Strangers when I can. She’s asleep. She won’t notice a few duplicate faces.” She replies. Damn, this is tiring. Generally she just lets these things go on autopilot. This fine manipulation is difficult.

She takes a deep breath, trying to keep what is now a very hungry Tara occupied, so she won’t get out of the dream and attack her. Then she grins, as the vampire regains contro of herself, lighting up one of her scent blocking cigars in the dream world, going back to peaceful rest. “There you go, you absolute madwoman.” Ginny says with a grin.

Amethyst

"You let them bring you back. Now you are bound."

"I know."

Hearing the voices outside Amethyst took a few moments to gather herself. The restraints made her feel vulnerable, incredibly vulnerable. Taking a few deep breaths she closed her eyes and tried to calm herself. Not being able to see her surroundings began to make her panic. Being in an unfamiliar place and not being able to see was a nightmare for her. After a few moments she felt her skin crawl like something was moving its way down and towards her hands. Clenching her fists the feeling stopped but she felt her stomach twist. Burying her face in the cushion of the car Ame grumbled. "Im blind and I dont know where I am." Amethyst said right off the back. "You may not understand how this feels but it doesn't feel good." she spoke, her voice trembling.

Chester wasn't exactly sure what was going on, but Tara seemed to be relaxing, which he took as a good sign.
"Score one for denying nature." He said with a chuckle.
This was what Chaos liked to see happen in the world. Rules broken. Giving a middle finger to fate and forging a different path. While he doubted this was the end of Tara's struggles, keeping at it would make her stronger. Or kill her, he supposed. But what was life without a little risk?
"Impressive control from you both." Chester continued. "Your little dream therapy looks damn useful."
Another useful tidbit he filed away.

Eliasdagood Eliasdagood

Ginny smiles, slowly backing off from Tara’s mind, leaving the dazed vampire to wake up slowly. “Ah… that was a trip.” She mumbles. “Still, two to one! That’s pretty good.” Ginny says brightly, rubbing her forehead. “Ah, Damn, That was exhausting. You hungry?” She asks, heading for the fridge. “Oh hell yes.”

Ginny smiles, taking out a couple of large clay mugs, and filling them from blood bags in the fridge. “Alright then. Let me just heat these up real quick.”

1546576296583.png

Elijah pursed his lips, not responding to Chase's initial comment as the man looked on at their prisoner. However, as he asked about what connection the girl had to the First Sin, Eli merely shook his head. Mackenzie had the most insight into the enigmatic young woman's nature and even she hadn't been clear on that point. As if on cue, Mac spoke up, making her stance about the girl's fate very clear. He met her gaze, holding it as he spoke. "That is a big 'if'," he remarked. "You didn't see what I did, Mac. She's scared, and I don't think it's an act--" he paused as he heard the bound girl grumbling something he couldn't make out.

1546576286234.png
William stepped toward the back of the Beast slowly. He knew the girl would be unassuming to his old self, but with the Grace inside him, the Nephilim could "feel" the disturbing aura she seemed to give off. It was strange, even unsettling and seemed to intermingle with a very human persona. Will turned to glance at the other three before leaning inside the vehicle, quickly scanning his eyes over the girl's restraints. "We're not going to hurt you. What's your name?" he asked softly.

1546576321944.png
Adelaide smiled, bidding Ashley-May goodnight. After she left, Addy collected the designated sheets and pillows, turning toward Morgan. "You planning on sleeping outside again?" she asked, only half-joking as she went about making the couch into a makeshift bed.

97a5f300329e3eeb07ff1096bd239ea4.jpg

Chase felt the tension as Mackenzie and Elijah had their momentary stare-down. Without knowing what the two of them knew of whatever incident drew attention the the girl, as well as being there for the capture. Well, it was difficult to really come up with much of a conclusion just yet. "I have to say I agree with her." He remarked flatly with a nod to the woman, "But only if we're sure." Chase was quick to add on seeing Eli's dislike for Mackenzie's stance on the subject. Elijah doesn't believe she was faking, that whatever interaction hadn't been an act. The werewolf however wasn't convinced, it wasn't that he didn't trust Elijah or his judgement. But it was always difficult to fully trust someone about something like this when you'd never hunted with them, not really. Chase, even with his supernatural senses, had been fooled many a times by these acts. So he never put it past anyone to fall victim to such antics on occasion. His eyes shifted back to the girl once Will started trying to speak to her after she mentioned being blind and more or less afraid.

Mackenzie's dark eyes watched the girl after she spoke and William moved in to speak to her, she was oddly surprised at Chase's agreement with her statement - even with the follow up. For whatever reason she had thought the wolf would disagree with her no matter what was said. She listened intently, waiting for the girl to speak having only heard the last half of what she had uttered. Mac sneered at the statement, unconvinced at the act; if she was truly innocent she wouldn't have remarked about it felt to be in captivity - she would know.

Morgan smiled to Ash as she bade them good night, "You too." She glanced to Addy as the woman started to collect the bedding. She flushed, bashfully, but smiled and nodded. "Yeah, I mean I can't .. .sleep outside in Boston, right?" She shrugged. "I have to get used to it if I'm going to stick around humans, right?" She stood up from the couch, mostly getting out of the way so it could be made up, but also to try and help. She took up the opposite edge of the fitted sheet and started to tuck it in around the couch cushions. "At least tonight you won't sleep on the lawn chair outside."

Amethyst

Curling up in the back of the car Amethyst felt both relief and terror. On one hand she felt she was going to die, something that was stolen from her already. On the other she felt the fear of torture. After a moment the feeling of relief washed over her. She stopped trembling and relaxed. However, there was part of her that wanted to persist. Closing her eyes she seemed to lose herself, void of physical sensation. The feeling of seeing returned to her. However, she wasn't in a car.

----
"You hurt them! How could you do that? Again?! I thought we dealt with this demon!"

The sharp cold feeling of steel shot through her body. Feeling her fostermom locking her hands into place Amethyst strained. "Get these off me! Please I didnt do it! I swear!"

Feeling the heat of an object near her Amethyst tensed up. Starting to cry Ame jolted her shoulder away as she suddenly felt a blaring pain.

"Im not a demon!"
-------
Tensing up Amethyst began to panic. "Im not a demon! Im not a demon!" Amethyst began to say. Managing to move herself to the other end of the car she stared blindly towards where she had heard them talking about her. "Please! Dont burn me! Oh my god im not a demon!" Straining intensely against her binding she began to cry. "Mom im not a demon... why are you doing this! Just kill me!" She shouted. Tears streaming down her heart sank. "Its not like it lets me do it myself." Amethyst spoke suddenly in a surreal and calm voice. Coming out of the episode Amethyst seemed to just stop all together.

William flinched slightly as the girl began protesting loudly, crying out that she wasn't a demon. He frowned, trying to find the words that would calm her or the right question to ask, but it quickly became obvious that she wasn't talking to him. She mentioned her mother of all people, sounding like a sleeper trapped in a nightmare muttering their worst fears. However, Will had a feeling that what the girl was describing was no mere bad dream, but a memory as she begged her own mom not to hurt her before beginning for the release of death. Will felt a pang of sympathy, despite the fact that the prisoner's own words seemed to confirm that she was host to... something. "Calm down," Will said, raising his voice only to be heard over the girl's panicked cries. "Like I said, we are not going to hurt you. Can you tell me who you are? And what 'It' is?"

Elijah watched the scene, jaw clenched and muscles tensed. He didn't know what to expect from the girl. It was obvious enough that she wasn't normal and potentially dangerous... though he couldn't shake the feeling that she was more victim than monster.

Adelaide Main.jpg
Adelaide chuckled at the mention of her previous sleeping accomodations. "True," she admitted, nodding her thanks to Morgan as she helped with the sheets. Once the task of outfitting both pieces of furniture was done, she went by the bathroom to change and brush her teeth -- planning to grab a brief shower in the morning prior to heading out. She returned to the living room, falling into the nearest of the made-up sofas and curling up. "Goodnight, jolie loup," she said with a smile.

"Well done to you both." Chester said with a grin. "Can't say I've seen this before, so I'm grateful for the chance to witness something new."
With the ladies preparing their own meal, Chester pulled a bottle of milk out of no where and took a sip.
"So, Ginny, have you tried this kind of therapy to help with other tendencies and problems someone wanted to overcome?" He asked.
While seeming relaxed, he kept an eye on Tara. She seemed back to normal, but she had been riled up not too long ago. It was worth a little extra observation to make sure she didn't have a relapse. Or exhibit any side effects from this dream therapy.

Ginny shakes her head. “Nope. But I heard hypnosis therapy can be useful for addiction.” Tara stares at her. “That was your reasoning? Kid, that’s a completely different thing.” The djinn tilts her head. “Oh… huh. Well, still might work! Lets you get some practice in on nonliving targets.” She shrugs.

Tara just stares at her, shaking her head. “I’m not sure where this ranks on the list of crazy things I’ve seen you do, but thanks. It might really help.” Ginny shrugs. “Somewhere between giving an angry Mac lip and intercepting a charging werewolf.” She says calmly, going to the microwave for their drinks.

Chase frowned when the girl in the car started crying out, the fear in her voice practically tangible. The words made it clear she was having some sort of psyche break, whether from the stress of whatever supernatural event she'd gone through or forcibly used to make her seem like less of a threat. The man huffed lightly, listening as Will attempted to calm the girl and bring her back to the present. Briefly he considered leaving, with Emile waiting for him back at the camp. He'd wanted to stick around to help out if possible, though they were all capable, not to mention Will's newfound abilities. They'd be fine without him, but mostly Chase wanted to know what this girl was. With the pack potentially coming here he wanted to be able to inform Emile about it, as well as be sure they wouldn't be at risk. Chase leaned to his left some closer to Elijah but kept his eyes on the car, "So what happened in town?" He asked lowly, not attempting to distract the other man from what was going on but also just wanting to know.

Mackenzie watched over the dramatics occurring on the flat bed of the Beast, thankful it was Will and Eli taking the forefront on this issue and not herself; she could hardly feel sympathetic to the girls please after what she had witness. She glanced briefly to Chase as he questioned what had occurred and considered leaving it to Elijah to fill in but decided the wolf, and his pack, deserved the information she had. "There is something possessing her, not quite demon, not quite god, that keeps interrupting my connection with Heaven: that's the only reason how we found her so quickly. Whenever she accesses the demon-gods power," She paused, receiving a glare from Eli. "Or whenever it takes control, it forces me to watch what they're doing. It started with a schools cafeteria where she killed at least fifty or sixty children by using some sort of magic to freeze them to death instantly. Soon following she killed an innocent bystander attempting to help her by incinerating them with the same powers. Finally, where we found her, she used her power to force her mothers car into a invisible barrier killing the women and alighting her and the car on fire, then healed herself." She glanced over the girl. "Given she hasn't actively killed any of us, I'm going to say the bronze chain is doing its work and keeping her contained." She hmmm'd quickly as an epiphany came over her. "Obviously it can be used to bind gods, Hypnos wasn't lying."

Morgan smiled. "Good night, Laidy." She slipped from the room after collecting some clothing that would comfortable for sleeping in and headed down to the bathroom to wash up and change. She stood before the sink, hands clutching the enamel basin carefully, as she took several long and deep breaths. She reminded herself that Addy was an empath, she would quickly pick up on her excitement for the morning and needed to quell it, as much as possible before she returned to the living room to sleep.

Feeling ready and a little more relaxed, she turned out the light to the bathroom and headed back down the hall in the darkness to the living room. She took up the second made couch, sliding into the clean smelling sheets before tucking the soft blanket under her arms, willing herself to fall asleep.

Amethyst

Hearing the voice after a moment Amethyst began to move. Hearing the sentence clear as day Amethyst wasn't sure how to explain what It was. "I... I don't know how to explain that. Is it an idea? Is it an entity or is it just my imagination running wild. Maybe its my father? It started after he died and I inherited his belongings" Amethyst spoke entirely unsure of how to answer that question. Upon hearing the woman speaking up Amethyst felt her stomach twist. "I didn't do it. They all torture me... I didn't have control." Amethyst said in a semi-defensive response. Although she was correct in not having done it. She couldn't lie to herself about that fact that she had thought about it at some point. "I also didn't heal myself. I wish I died but of course im not allowed."
