He flinched when their hands made contact. Irona was never one for coming in contact with people. The feeling of another person's skin against his own was of the utmost undesirable. Quickly he had pulled his bloodstained hand away, nose scrunched up slightly. However as she removed her tie and took out the glass in his foot, he didn't fight it. His ears flicked in discomfort as she helped him up, the contact between him bothering him. Quickly after steadying himself to stand, he moved a few small steps away from the female who assisted him. His ears pricked as they shot up at the sound of something in the branches above them, but Irona didn't look up. He simply shook his head at the girl, "Thank you for your help, but I can honestly do the rest on my own," he mumbled defiantly. His grey-brown eyes were glaring at a tree toward his side. He honestly was never one for being helped. He had nothing against talking to people, and would rather talk to someone then sit alone- but when someone helped him with something he felt he should've already been able to do of his own accord it bothered him.

His tangled brown hair was brushed to the side of his face, the tiny white speckle pattern that laced the strands popping out with the color. His horns also felt like they were sticking out at an awkward angle. Irona was self-conscious, and at that moment found a million things wrong with his appearance- even if he couldn't see himself. His grey sweatpants were matted with clusters of dust and his white sweatshirt had dirt on it. Not to mention his small and dainty feet were dusted with dirt from the walking he had done. His ears folded back against his head again as he took a risky glance up at the tree, noticing the other person's frame from the tangles of leaves almost immediately.

Jacob watched as the deer-boy got up, clearly still injured. Why walk barefoot? There are so many things that you can step on with bare feet, things like roots or branches or thorns. His mind drifted on that thought until he felt a pair of eyes boring into him. The deer-boy could see him. Was that really possible? He was covered by branches, plus his abilities hid him from most. But as those thoughts passed him, the boy was still looking at him. Oh well. He waved to the boy, silent in the branches.

Irona stared at the guy a moment, several thoughts running through his mind. He then noticed he was being waved at and shook his head, looking back at the angel female in front of him. "I'm sorry for the inconvenience," he said softly, turning around swiftly to walk away as quickly as he could. He had taken a few hops over some tree roots before he started up a jog, deeper into the fog of trees. His ears flicked to every noise made, and his foot throbbed but he kept the pace up until he felt like he was a good enough distance away from the two people.

He stumbled upon a small clearing between the forest trees where a small pond sat in the center. The way the sun fluttered down into the pond was astounding, and he found himself staring at it with wide eyes before he found himself a good tree root and sat down on it to rest his foot. With a large sigh he leaned against the tree and closed his eyes, taking in the long-awaited scents of the forest. It had been so long since he had been in one.

Jacob's hidden smile faltered as the boy shook his head and turned away. Wasn't very friendly, it seemed. However, curiosity came over him as he watched the boy walk deeper into the forest. Abandoning his old strategy to walk in a loop, he started to follow the boy, silently sliding through the intertwining branches of the trees, balancing on them as he walked across with ease. When they reached the final destination, Jacob remained in the trees along the outskirts. It was an amazing clearing, a shame he didn't remember exactly how to get to it for later. He let out a low, audible whistle, trying to catch the attention of the other boy.

Irona's ears flicked at the sound of the whistle. At first, he tried to ignore it. But after a while he sat up and opened his eyes. He didn't look annoyed exactly- he just didn't appear pleased with the idea of the male from before following him. And the only reason he knew it was the guy was because his iris' slid to the corner of his eyes, looking through the trees and spotting the frame of the man. He kept his eyes on him and he turned his head to face the same direction, eyebrow raised in a questioning look.

After a moment, Irona stood up and looked up at the vague shadow he could see through the trees. "Can I help you?" He questioned, loud enough for the other male to hear certainly.

Jen woke up at long last with a loud yawn. The centaur scratched behind on of his ears before finally rising up. He trotted out of his dorm room and looked around campus for a bit. His ears twitched and turned at every little noise he heard. Jen finally began to walk around. A new school, new campus, new people to meet, and a new place to sleep. This was the life. Although, Jen didn't see anyone around, he knew he'd run into someone...at some point. Oh well, may as well take in the scenery for now.

Astraea sighed in content. Her brother had covered for her again. All her father would know was that she was going to a school. He didn't need to know about it being a human school, right? So she trotted down the halls, her head down a bit. The last thing she needed was someone recognizing her. She finally broke into an excited run. "Finally here!"

Ivy walked out of the forest, the male seemed anti-social so she didn't want to bother him, instead she walked around the campus after picking her cloak up and putting it back on her, she went to the cherry blossom tree that she had become attached to over the three years she had been here, her wings blended into the blossoms and she closed her eyes, she intended to day dream about her perfect life, no her life here wasn't perfect, but she dreamed of how her life would be if it were perfect, she knew that that would never happen of course. She dreamed of writing a romantic/adventure book and becoming a world famous author and making many people happy with her book, she smiled to herself at that thought, and the wind blew softly against her and blossoms fell into her wings as she thought, she would have to make that her reality someday

Prince Graeme Grove It was just another place to call home for a while. It wasn't anything new to Graeme, he's been all sorts of places for all sorts of reasons. Now he decided to settle down for a small while and hone his skills. He had just arrived at the campus and looked around. "New place, new life, new memories, same old past." Graeme glanced into the sky and saw the sun bright as ever. Returning to walking forward he noticed a few people here and there, but none of them were interesting. Noticing a girl in a cherry blossom tree as he walked around he found it curious that she had pink wings. Walking up to the tree and looking up to the girl he spoke in a surprisingly soft voice, yet loud enough to be heard clearly. "Hey there, I'm prince Graeme Grove, may I ask why you have pink wings?"

@FluffyMarshmallow

Ivy looked up at the boy startled by the loud voice waking her up from the day dream "Why do I have pink wings?" She thought this wasn't unusual but she answered the question kindly and softly "I am a Cupid, well half cupid, other half common angel" she said as if it were completely normal, even though it was a rare case between angels, usually angels were pure instead of mixed, but she had been treated as if it were normal so she felt it was a normal thing. "May I ask why a prince is on campus? Tired of the royal life?" she winked at him, and then smiled her same old sweet smile

Prince Graeme Grove Graeme shrugged as he spoke. "Taking a break from my job. As for the royal life... well... that's a story for another day." Graeme looked at her pink wings a second time, interested that she had actually told him. "So that's why your wings are pink? Seems pretty interesting to me." Graeme chuckled before sighing, "Royalty or not, I left of my own wishes, plus in a way I'm not so royal anymore."

Jen eventually gave up on waiting for someone to show up. He began to walk away from his dorm, maybe he'd meet his roommate later. As Jen walked, he saw two people over at a cherry blossom tree, but decided against going over there. He didn't really want to butt in when he had no idea what the two were talking about. He walked a little more and was able to find a vending machine...well two of them. One carried a variety of different snacks and treats while the other contained nothing but sodas and energy drinks. That was when Jen stuck both his hands into the small pouch on his shirt. Keys? Phone? Wallet! Jen took out his wallet and slipped in a few dollars before buying a candy bar and soda. He slipped the candy bar into his pouch and opened up the soda before taking a sip from the icy beverage. Maybe someone would come by, but then again maybe there wouldn't.

"Interesting? Really? I never really thought about it that much since i've had then since I can remember" she looked at him "And whatever do you mean 'Not so royal anymore'?" she asked curiously, never in her life had she heard of someone in the royal family being disowned without doing something really bad. She was quite curious what his answer would be

@Kihara017

Jen continued to drink his soda nearby the vending machine when a girl came running by. When he heard her whisper what something was he looked at her, "Are you talking about me or the vending machine?" he said as he pointed from himself to the vending machine. It was honestly confusing to tell what this girl wanted.

Prince Graeme "Well as I've said, its a long story for another day. It's not that I wouldn't like people to know my story, I just would rather get to know you a bit more before I go around dropping my entire past on you." Graeme chuckled and took out a bag of beef jerky. "Though I will say that it involves my line of work, a war, and family issues. Let's just say that because of what I do for a living I had a job during a war that ended up winning the war but some family issues happened and I was banished." Graeme popped a piece of jerky into his mouth and took out a small book, writing in it quickly before putting it back in his satchel.

"Um, both?" Astraea asked, her silverish wings fluttering. "What is it though? I've never seen something like that before!"

"I see, I apologise but I have just noticed that you do not know my name, It's Ivy, Ivy Beauchamp" she smiled at him again "I can say that I had family issues due to a war, but my parents..." she decided not to continue, she wasn't exactly eager to pour out her entire past on a stranger either; So she stopped altogether. "Anyways, It's a pleasure to meet you, best not to dwell on the past anyhow" she said with a smile that didn't quite meet her eyes

Maloria walked forwards, unsure of herself. Unsure of anyone here really. She hadn't really given herself time to get to know anyone or do anything, she'd mainly just sat in her dorm and read. Needless to say, she was a little shy. Although she knew there was probably no reason to be.

Arjean hummed a tune as they drew pictures of mannequin-like people in dresses and suits in their dorm. The outfits seemed to be for a more formal setting than casual wear. After a while, Arjean began to doze off and frequently prevent themself from face planting onto their desk. They stood up and stretched their body, although that didn't work well as their large wings knocked some stuff off of their table.

After stretching they decided that they should go out and try to meet some people. They felt anxious being new, but they wanted to make some friends and understand how the place worked. They hoped that here they wouldn't be made fun of for their mixed appearance.

They left their dorm room and walked out into the halls. They stayed in their more humanoid-like form than their centaur-like form to avoid being made fun of. They shyly walked out of the room, looking way too overdressed for being inside. They were dressed in a jacket, turtle-neck sweater, skinny jeans, gloves, and a scarf over their neck. It looked good, like something you could wear in winter. But they've been in their room for the whole time and their species are made to survive in the winter without clothing, so what they were wearing hardly made any sense.

They blushed at the realization of how silly they looked, but nevertheless they continued to move and looked around the halls and look for people. They had very good hearing so they could hear people talking nearby, or the footsteps of someone being alone, so they decided to move in the direction of where there were less people, but still people.

Jen shook his head as he looked at the girl,"I'm a centaur, a half man, half horse." He then pointed over to the vending machine and said,"This is called a vending machine. You insert a certain amount of money at the top here, and then you can punch in what drink or candy you want and it'll drop down here." before taking a sip from his soda. It was weird to see that this girl had never seen a vending machine before.

@Echo Dreamsong

Maloria diverted her attention to the... Well, she wasn't certain exactly what it was.. But at least they were colourful. She stood there and stared for a while, but soon realised she might have looked rude, and quickly turned away.. Back to... Doing nothing again.

@The Royal Keen

"Wow! Je never told me humans had this much advancement!" She turned to look up at Jen. "My name's Astraea. Technically a goddess, but I prefer Angel. It's bad enough that Father won't let me leave, I don't need anyone else tryin to watch over... So, it's nice to met you!"

@Isune

Arjean looked towards the girl near them and waved. Arjean couldn't tell what species she was, but nevertheless they tried to be polite and friendly. They walked up to her and introduced themself. "Hello there, I'm Arjean Soie. Who might you be?" they said, sounding overly polite for someone who wanted to be friends with someone and not business partners. They didn't seem to notice that the girl turned away from them and focused solely on making a new friend.

Maloria was relieved they weren't hostile, and was honestly quite glad to have someone talk to them. She studied the creature a little more before looking into their eyes with a small smile. "Oh.. Hello. My name is Maloria Loire." She replied, sounding a little awkward. She didn't know whether to act formal or informal... Why was socialising so hard?! She had no idea what else to say, so she tried to keep the conversation going. "So.. What exactly are you, then?" She asked, probably offending them and ruining her only chance to make a friend in the process. Never the less, she was still curious.
