Peter helped her up. "Hey. Are you okay?" He asked. "What's going on. The goo's doing this isn't it?"

Kala felt the wind get knocked out of her. " I don't know if we should worry or not"

Eris was silent, but the look in her eyes made it obvious that Peter's assumption was correct. She threw herself at the microscope, knocking it over along with the blood sample.

"I appreciate your efforts, Parker, but you can't help me...no one can. I shouldn't have brought you into this..."

She stares at the microscope on the ground.

"There. Research destroyed! Happy now!?" She said in her mind, directed at Legion.

She places a hand on the table where the microscope was and places her other hand over her chest where the tendril originally pierced.
