"Legion...you have my service at your disposal..." She spoke as if her words were escaping her lips on their own. Eris catches herself and continues speaking. This time, her confidence has returned. "As long as I get to continue to steal. A lady's gotta make a fancy living somehow."

Eris nods and runs off, picking up a couple wallets along the way as she leaves the park. She takes the money out of each wallet and then tosses the wallets away. Then, she enters a nearby hotel, gets a room, and immediately goes to it to take a shower. As the water flows through her hair, she trembles at the thought of the black goo flowing through her veins. Afterwards, she gets dressed and lays on the bed, staring at the ceiling. A thief's job is a continuous one, so she contemplates where she should go next.
